We consider differentiated development of motor qualities among schoolchildren. Increasing the level of physical fitness of students, is the foundation for overall performance and health, the removal of nervous experiences and negative stress, a noticeable sign of physical improvement of a person. Among the relevant issues of physical education of schoolchildren, the leading place is occupied by the issues associated with the differentiated development of motor qualities among schoolchildren. The analyzed sources about the constant acceleration of physical development in connection with socio-economic conditions are directly related to the schoolchildren of the group we study. The main indicators of physical fitness of the studied group of schoolchildren 7–14 years old coincide with the results of studies by other authors. Constant study of the level of physical fitness of schoolchildren of different classes living in a particular area allows us to objectively assess the content of pedagogical work in the lessons of various directions, effectively monitor the progress of development and the rate of growth of motor qualities in each age period.

The purpose of the work is to identify the influence of various components of the training load on the improvement of sportsmanship of athletes at the stages of preliminary training and initial specialization. Research methods. Students at the age of 17, who were engaged in the athletics section and performed regulatory tests at the level of the third sports category, were divided into 2 groups: experimental and control (10 people each). The students of the experimental group were trained in the author's 6-component training load program. The students of the control group were engaged in a program developed at the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sport. Investigated indicators of physical development (height, body weight, functional reserves of the cardio-respiratory system) and physical fitness (endurance, speed and power indicators) every 6 months for 5 years. Results. The developed program, which is implemented at the stages of preliminary training and initial specialization of athletes, provides for the development of specially oriented physical abilities and allows you to increase the level of sportsmanship. This is indicated by the dynamics of the obtained positive results of testing basic anthropometric data and indicators of physical training of students-athletes. It is also necessary to take into account the direction of development of physical abilities, based on the development of the main indicators of the cardio-respiratory system and the leading role of the mechanisms influencing the regulation of the level of general endurance, movement speed and strength characteristics in the whole organism. The program provides for a systematic, but gradual complication of physical activity, determines the appropriate conditions for the implementation of the basic principle of physical education in higher educational institutions and developmental training for students-athletes of various qualifications. Conclusion. The results of 5-year testing of students-athletes after the introduction of the author's program in the training process, indicate pronounced positive changes in physical development and physical fitness, expressed in increasing the level of their sportsmanship and achievement of sports results corresponding to the first sports category.

Direct experiences with nature in childhood are essential for enhancing psychological and physical development in children. However, researches on childhood nature-related experiences and their effects are largely biased toward more developed Western countries. In this study, we created a questionnaire on childhood experiences with nature and surveyed 357 adults (>20 years old) around Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, to determine whether younger generations had fewer nature-based experiences than older generations and whether people who grew up in urban areas had fewer experiences than those who grew up in rural areas. We found that playing in rivers or waterfalls and collecting and eating tropical fruits were the most common nature-related activities experienced in childhood. There was a minimal decline in nature-related experiences among generations. However, people who grew up in rural areas had more nature-related experiences than those who grew up in urban areas. The loss of nature areas and increase in population density may accelerate the decline in nature-related experiences in urban areas. Therefore, efforts to create urban parks and other public spaces for reconnecting urban children to nature will become increasingly important for urban planning and environmental education in tropical developing countries such as Malaysia.

It was the purpose of this study to assess changes in physical development in educable mentally retarded boys as a result of a structured physical education program. Included in the study were 42 boys (24 experimental and 18 control). From the posttest and followup data analyses the following conclusions seem supported: (a) levels of physical fitness can be so significantly improved as to allow a favorable comparison with the nonretarded peer group, and (b) significant gains demonstrated at the end of the experiment proper remained significant over a 6 week post experiment followup period.

The modern higher school has increased requirements not only for the training of highly qualified specialists with a certain amount of personal and professional qualities, good health and a sufficient level of physical fitness. However, the present students need the indicators of physical development, functional resources and right level of physical fitness. The purpose of the study was to justify the efficiency of using the "Physiological portrait of a university student" in physical education. To assess the basic indicators of health and fitness of students, a specially developed "Physiological portrait of a university student" (PhPUS) was used. It included indicators of physical development, functional capabilities of basic physiological systems and physical abilities of students. The practical significance of the study included comparing the parameters of PhPUS in the beginning and the end of the academic year. Another study on PhPUS blocks indicated improvement in the students' indices of physical development, functional indices of the main physiological systems and physical fitness. PhPUS for monitoring the physical health of students could help identifying the necessary measures to improve the process of physical education.
