[Bahasa]: Keluarga merupakan lingkungan awal bagi anak yang memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Oleh karenanya, pemahaman tentang pentingnya parenting sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan keluarga. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya parenting dalam keluarga yang merupakan tanggungjawab bersama dari orang tua, masyarakat, sekolah, dan pemerintah. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kauman, Kecamatan Sedayu, Kabupaten Gresik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan games. Materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi pengertian, aturan, penerapan parenting yang tepat, pihak-pihak yang harus berperan dalam terwujudnya parenting, dan bahaya yang ditimbulkan jika parenting dilakukan secara tidak tepat. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan pemahaman peserta terhadap parenting sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan adalah sebesar 16%. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan dalam PKM ini, pemahaman peserta terhadap parenting adalah sebesar 83%. Hasil ini menunjukkan kegiatan PKM ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang parenting yang bekontribusi pada kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pendidikan keluarga. Kata Kunci: parenting, orang tua, masyarakat, pemerintah [English]: Family is the initial environment for children who have a strategic role in supporting the delivery of education. Therefore, an understanding of the importance of parenting is needed to improve the quality of family education. This community service program aims to provide the parents an understanding of the importance of parenting in the family as a shared responsibility of parents, community, schools, and government. This progam was conducted in Kauman Village, Sedayu District, Gresik Regency. The method used was training with lectures, discussions, and games. The material provided in this training included the understanding, rules, proper application of parenting, parties who must play a role in the realization of parenting, and the dangers posed if parenting is done incorrectly. The results showed that participants' understanding of parenting before the training was 16%. After attending the training, participants' understanding of parenting was 83%. This shows that this program increases parents’ understanding of parenting that contributes to community awareness of the importance of family education. Community and family empowerment activities are classic activities that are currently still underestimated by many parties, but this is still relevant and urgent when linked to community service programs. This community service program is proven to have a direct impact on efforts to improve the quality of life of the community, especially for disadvantaged families or disadvantaged families. Through this paper, the authors raise several positive aspects that can be obtained from several stages of the implementation of community service conducted by Padang State University in Nagari Lubuk Jantan Tanah Datar Regency. The focus of the activity is the empowerment of pre-prosperous family economies through the utilization of family resources and yards. The election of Nagari Lubuk Jantan is based on the consideration that this area is relatively many target groups or communities that are still underdeveloped in various aspects of life, especially in the education aspects, social aspects, and cultural aspects, and low levels of welfare, while they have relatively large family members as well as large yards that are not used optimally. The results of these community service activities have a significant impact, including: increased public knowledge about family problems and potential, the community gets an understanding in increasing family income through the management of family resources, and skills in improving the family economy by choosing and cultivating plants of economic value in the yard around residential areas, especially for economically weak communities. It is expected that all parties, including universities, regional governments, the private world, and community leaders, can increase their awareness of the family empowerment program, especially in optimizing the utilization of the potential of family resources such as human resources, family assets and time. Therefore, in the future, a variety of scientific studies and a more comprehensive service program breakthrough and totality related to efforts to improve the quality of the family will lead to a more dignified prosperous family.Keywords: Family Resources, Disadvantaged Families, Yard

[Bahasa]: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa penyuluhan dengan judul “Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Desa Batu Ampar. Peserta kegiatan PKM ini adalah orang tua siswa yang berdomisili di desa Batu Ampar, yang berjumlah 30 orang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk: (1) memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Kecamatan Batu Ampar Kabupaten Kubu Raya tentang memotivasi dan menumbuhkan minat terhadap matematika; (2) mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat terhadap penyuluhan tentang memasyarakatkan matematika. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa penyuluhan Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga di Batu Ampar ini dapat disimpulkan yaitu: (1) kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan informasi dan motivasi kepada orang tua selaku keluarga yang mempunyai peran penting dalam melakukan pendampingan belajar anak di rumah sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajaran matematika anak; (2) kegiatan pelatihan ini perlu diadakan kembali untuk daerah yang lain sehingga dapat menambah pengetahuan dan informasi yang akurat kepada keluarga betapa pentingnya peran mereka sebagai pendamping belajar anak. Kata kunci: Memasyaratkan, Matematika, Peran keluarga [English]: This community service program is in the form of counseling with the title "Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families." This program was carried out in the Batu Ampar Village Hall. The participants are thirty parents of students who live in Batu Ampar village. The program aims to: (1) provide counseling to the people of Batu Ampar Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency about motivating and fostering interest in mathematics; (2) knowing the community's response to counseling about socializing mathematics. Community service activities in the form of counseling Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families in Batu Ampar can be concluded, namely: (1) extension activities provide information and motivation to parents as families who have an important role in assisting child learning at home as an effort to improve the quality of learning especially children's mathematics subjects; (2) this training activity needs to be held again for other regions so that it can add accurate knowledge and information to the family how important their role is as a child learning companion. Teacher as one of the important key factors in education must enhance the quality of their knowledge both theoretical, skills, and expertise. For this reason, the community service program held by Department of Biology, FMIPA, Mulawarman University, Samarinda aimed to improve the practical skills of high school teachers. This program was attended by 16 teachers from various high schools from the Samarinda region and Tenggarong. The community service program consisted of 25% theory and 75% practice in one day. The theory about DNA isolation, polymerase chain reaction, and electrophoresis was done in the classroom. Meanwhile, in laboratory, the use of molecular biology equipment, electrophoresis, interpretation results of electrophoretic DNA bands, and NCBI was done by the teachers which is assisted by the laboratory assistant. In the end of the program, the skill of laboratory practice of teachers was improve, indicating by the increasing percentage of understanding about biology molecular skills.

Institution Awareness to the citizens in order to increase the quality of education is a part of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. To apply the program, it needs a plan. Community service program. The general purpose of this community service program is to increase the competency of citizens of RW 003 Babakan Village, Kelapa Dua, Setu, South Tangerang using Zahir Accounting Software training. The activity of this community service program entitled Computerized Accounting. The trainers and the source speakers are from the lecturers of Accounting Major of Pamulang University (Universitas Pamulang). The result conducted on November, 1,2,3 2019 was increasing their ability to use computer and computerized accounting with Zahir Accounting Software. The trainees was enthusiastic with the material they had from the lecturers of Accounting Major of Pamulang University (Universitas Pamulang). Latar belakang dalam pengabdian ini adalah dampak yang ditimbulkan dari covid 19 sangat dirasakan bagi keluarga, tak terkecuali pada aspek perekonomian dan psikologis keluarga.. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini adalah bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan konseling kepada keluarga yang terdampak covid 19 untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi keluarga agar dapat menjalani kehidupan dengan lebih baik lagi. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah Keluarga yang terdampak covid 19 Kecamatan Telagasari Desa Kalijaya Kabupaten Karawang yang berjumlah satu keluarga yang terdiri dari 4 orang yaitu ayah, ibu, dan dua anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap awal yang diri dari membangun hubungan konseling dengan klien, mendefinisikan masalah, penjajakan, dan menegosiasikan kontak, selanjutnya tahap kerja yang meliputi penjajakan masalah, bantuan yang diberikan terhadap klien, dan tahap akhir yaitu progress klien. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah proses konseling berhasil untuk meningkatkan motivasi keluarga yang terdampak covid 19. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perubahan yang terjadi pada klien setelah mengikuti kegiatan konseling yaitu perubahan klien tidak terpuruk lagi dan berusaha bangkit mencari nafkah dan anak-anak klien tetap semangat, sehingga dikatakan untuk program layanan konseling ini dikatakan berhasil. Kata Kunci: Layanan Konseling, Keluarga, Covid 19 The background in this service is that the impact of Covid 19 is felt on families, including the economic and psychological aspects of the family. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide counseling services to families affected by Covid 19 to increase family motivation. in order to live life better. The targets of this activity are families affected by covid 19, Telagasari Subdistrict, Kalijaya Village, Karawang Regency, which consists of one family consisting of 4 people, namely father, mother, and two children. The method used in this activity consists of several stages, namely the initial stage which consists of building a counseling relationship with clients, defining problems, exploring, and negotiating contacts, then the work stage includes exploring problems, assistance provided to clients, and the final stage, namely progress. client. The results obtained were that the counseling process was successful in increasing the motivation of families affected by covid 19. This is evidenced by the changes that occur in clients after participating in counseling activities, namely changes in clients do not fall anymore and try to get up to earn a living and the client's children remain enthusiastic, so that the counseling service program is said to be successful. Rambu-rambu Village is one of the villages clustered within the Tumbuh Lestari rural area of North Konawe District. The main purpose of this project was to empower the coastal community groups in Rambu-rambu Village through the introduction of in-cage verticulture farming of seaweed. The project was carried out within the scheme of Community Service Program (PKM/Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) funded by the University of Halu Oleo. The project lasted for 30 days from 29 June to 28 July 2019. The activity consisted of three stages, are initial dissemination activity, preparation of the training, and implementation of training of seaweed culture. The project involved 20 students of the University of Halu Oleo and 42 people from fishermen, fisherme wifes, and farmer groups. Before the training was conducted 66.7% of the participants did not have the knowledge and after the training 71.4% of the respondents gained an understanding regarding the seaweed verticulture farming method. The improvement of skill was also evident where before the training, 81% of the participants were not able to do seaweed farming method and after the training, 61.9% of the participants were capable or skilled of repeating the seaweed verticulture method. The increased knowledge of the participants could be described from their ability to clearly explain types of seaweed species used, the benefits of seaweed, and the characteristics of high quality of seaweed seed. The improved skill of the participants were also observed from their skill in constructing the seaweed raft and seaweed net cage, tying up the seaweed seed, and conducting the observation of water quality condition in the location of seaweed farming. The result of this activity showed an increased of knowledge and skill of the trained participants regarding seaweed farming using verticulture method.

Maternal and infant mortality is very influential on the integrity and resilience of family and society, the quality of human resources, which in turn will hinder efforts to achieve national development goals. The causal factors that cause indirect or direct causes are because most pregnant women do not understand the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy so that the mother cannot adapt to physiological changes during pregnancy. The physiology of pregnancy and childbirth in general is the same, but because certain things related to the process of forming a fetus in the womb until the birth of a baby varies, the physiology of the baby's birth becomes different from one another. One of them is circulation function in pregnancy. Blood circulation from the mother for fetus will increase according to gestational age and according to the increase in weight and size of the fetus. The aim of this community service program is that expectant mothers can understand the basic needs during pregnancy both for the needs of the mother and the fetus. One effort that can be done so that the mother can understand the basic needs during pregnancy, both the needs for the mother and the basic needs for the fetus, namely by giving counseling explanations about what needs are needed by the mother and fetus.

This training aims to provide an overview of the concepts of improving the performance of teachersand school principals as an effort to improve human resources (HR) which is carried out througheducation and training, so that it is expected to produce high enough performance of teachers andprincipals in learning. One of the weaknesses that exist today in the world of education is the lowperformance of teachers in terms of competence and self-quality in managing classes actively andcreatively. Based on the data above, there needs to be a comprehensive effort to improve the qualityof our education. This improvement can be started from the lowest education unit, namely the schoolinstitution. The capacity of Indonesian schools needs to be increased so that they are able to face thechallenges of a much more competitive future. One way to improve school performance is to improveteacher quality. The quality of teachers can be improved by providing training and mentoring. For thisreason, as a form of Higher Education Tridharma, a Community Service Program was held with thetheme of Improving Primary School Performance through the Teacher and Principal Training Programat the As'ad Islamic Elementary School Foundation in Jambi City. The purpose of this training is toassist teachers in the development of teacher professional competencies such as updating learningmethods in class, use of learning media, etc. Through increasing the capacity of teachers through thisworkshop, it is hoped that it can improve the school's performance.

This activity is expected to help government performance in providing information on food and cosmetics that are safe to the community, especially mothers, so that the highest degree of public health can be realized. One of them was carried out by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya through the Community Service program. This activity is expected to help government performance in providing information on food and cosmetics that are safe to the community, especially mothers so that the highest degree of public health can be realized. The Aisyiyah Regional Administrators of Palangka Raya work on average outside the home as employees, teachers, private sector, and others. Households as the smallest community base need to get good guidance and primary attention, because national development relies on the success of human development, where the factors that influence one of them is the availability of safe and quality food. The method of implementing activities uses methods of counseling/awareness and education, as well as inspection simulations on Food Additives and cosmetics that do not meet the requirements. The purpose of this activity is to protect the family against Food Additives and cosmetics that do not meet health requirements. The family is the smallest community that plays a major role in determining the decision-making in nutritional intake every day and what cosmetics can be used by their families are housewives, so education and coaching for mothers is absolutely necessary.

Abstrak: Kemandirian masyarakat secara ekonomi diperlukan dalam megentaskan rantai kemiskinan dengan adanya Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). PKH yang menjadi program Pemerintah diharapkan menjadi program transisi dalam memutus mata rantai kemiskinan. Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya yang merupakan bagian dari Kota Tasikmalaya melalui perannya dalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi khususnya dalam Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan status kesehatan warga dan meningkatkan kemandirian warga secara ekonomi melalui pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) khusunya Kunyit yang memiliki khasiat pengobatan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan transfer ilmu melaui penyuluhan dan pelatihan dari tim Dosen Jurusan Farmasi Poltekkes Kemenkes serta demonstrasi pengolahan kunyit untuk meningkatkan nilai jual secara ekonomi. Hasil yang diperoleh kader kelurahan kahuripan kecamatan tawang sudah mampu memanfaatkan kunyit sebagai minuman kesehatan dan bisa memproduksinya sendiri dan sudah siap dilakukan izin P-IRT sehingga bisa dipasarkan dan bernilai ekonomi.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian masyarakat, Tanaman Obat Keluarga, Kunyit instan Abstract: Economic independence of the community is needed in poverty alleviation chain with the Family Hope Program (PKH). PKH which is a Government program is expected to be a transitional program in breaking the poverty chain. Poltekkes Kemenkes Tasikmalaya which is part of Tasikmalaya City through its role in Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi especially in Community Service Program aims to improve citizen health status and improve economic independence of citizens through utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) especially Turmeric that have medicinal properties. The method used is to transfer knowledge through counseling and training from the team of Lecturer Department of Pharmacy Poltekkes Kemenkes and demonstration of turmeric processing to increase the selling point economically. Results obtained people in Kahuripan, Tawang district has been able to take advantage of turmeric as healthly drink and can produce it and getting PIRT so it can be marketed and economic value.Keywords: Community Service Program, Family Medicinal Plants, Turmeric instan drink
