Background: Problems that often attack tuberculosis patients are psychological problems such as anxiety and about self efficacy or self-confidence that affect the patient's medication adherence. Method: Quasy experiment research design with pre-post test control group design involving 25 respondents in the treatment group and 25 respondents in the control group, selection technique with purposive sampling. The independent variable is video media psychoeducation while the dependent variable is the level of anxiety and self efficacy. Data were obtained using a questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney Test with a degree of significance α ≤ 0.05. Results: Video media psychoeducation significantly affected anxiety levels (p = 0.00) and increased self efficacy (p = 0,000). Discussion: Video media psychoeducation has positive benefits for overcoming the problem of anxiety and self-efficacy of tuberculosis patients. Video media psychoeducation is able to provide information and anxiety management in the form of deep breathing relaxation techniques through audio visual to clarify the presentation of the message so as not to be too verbalistic. Information received by the patient affects the mindset and behavior that will reduce anxiety. When the patient is not anxious the patient has high self efficacy. For further research, the researcher suggests that an objective assessment of the anxiety level of tuberculosis patients be further studied. Keywords: anxiety , self-efficacy, tuberculosis, video media psychoeducation

Health education is one part of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) management. Healtheducation on T2DM has been given to patients with T2DM but has not resulted in positivebehavioral changes, seen from uncontrolled blood glucose levels and complications. Acomprehensive knowledge of T2DM, appropiate education with engaging families, can give apositive impact on comprehension and self-confidence of people with T2DM.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PsychoeducationMods (PM) on comprehension and self-efficacy patients with T2DM. This study uses quasyexperiment, pre and post test control group design. Respondents were patients with T2DM andtheir families who are undergoing outpatient in Dr. H. Moh. Anwar Sumenep Hospital (n = 40).Data collection used a comprehension and self-efficacy questionnaires for people withT2DM. Statistical analysis used different test with α <0,05. Mann Whitney U test result showed thatthere were differences in comprehension and self-efficacy variables between treatment group andcontrol group. Different independent sample test results in the treatment group using Paired Ttest and Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that PM improves comprehension (p = 0.007) and selfefficacy (p = 0.002) of patients with T2DM. MP needs to be applied by health personnel, especiallynurses in assisting patients with T2DM improves comprehension with the awareness and selfefficacy of patients with T2DM. Comprehension with awareness and good self efficacy with familysupport will be a reinforcing factor for the establishment of a positive behavior to control bloodglucose levels.

Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit yang banyak menimbulkan komplikasi bagi para penderitanya apabila tidak mengikuti pengelolaan penyakit yang benar. Tujuan: Untuk pengelolaan penyakit yang benar dibutuhkan self efficacy pasien. self efficacy pasien dapat ditingkatkan melalui beberapa kegiatan salah satunya adalah peer teaching group.Metode: Desain penelitian Quasy Eksperimen rancangan pretes postest with control group design, subyek penelitian adalah penderita DM di wilayah kerja puskesmas Dlingo Bantul sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil:  Analisa data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan Mann Whitney Test. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dengan P = 0.013.Kesimpulan: peer teaching group dapat meningkatkan self efficacy pada penderita DM .

Gejala awal persalinan akan menimbulkan nyeri yang sangat hebat karena adanya kontraksi uterus dan otot abdomen. Nyeri intra natal adalah suatu nyeri yang dirasakan saat terjadinya proses persalinan (melahirkan). Saat nyeri persalinan muncul, ada baiknya bagi ibu untuk membaca dzikir. Dzikir adalah mengingat Allah SWT dan menghadirkan apa yang tadinya ada di dalam benak untuk kemudian dilafadzkan atau disebut-sebut yang dapat dilakukan secara lisan dengan menggunakan lidah atau bisa juga diucapkan tanpa adanya keterlibatan lidah, yaitu melalui hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembacaan dzikir pada ibu melahirkan terhadap tingkat nyeri intra natal. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Desain penelitian pra eksperimen, dengan rancangan pre test-post test tanpa kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung kepada responden untuk mengukur tingkat nyeri. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik wilcoxon signed rank test dan regresi linier dengan menggunakan SPSS 14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji statistik untuk nilai pre test dan post test tingkat nyeri diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,02 dengan p < 0,05.Kata kunci: pembacaan dzikir, melahirkan, nyeri intra natal, tingkat nyeriABSTRACTThe delivery or usually called labor process is a process open and thin the cervix, and descent of the fetus into the way of birth. The early symptom of delivery will be appearing very heavy because there are uterus contraction and abdomen muscle. In partum pain is a pain which feel when delivery process happening (labor). When labor pain appears, there is a good for the mother to read dzikir. Dzikir is remembering Allah SWT and make present what before in the mind and then pronounced or make cal can do spoken by tongue or pronounced without there are involving tongue, by heart. The purpose of this research is to know about the influence of reading dzikir to the delivery mother toward in partum level of pain. Technique sampling used purpose sampling. The research of design pre experiment, with pre test-post test without control group design. The sample in this research’s total is 30 respondents. The manner of data was did by direct observation to the respondents to measure pain level. Data analysis used statistic test wilcoxon signed rank test and regression linier in SPSS 14. Background: The dysmenorrhea prevalence is still reported high in the world. Several previous studies discovered that deep breathing relaxation effectively reduced dysmenorrhea. Other studies presented the combination of early mobilization and spiritual relaxation could reduce the level of client pain postoperative appendectomy, however the effectiveness of spiritual relaxation techniques to reduce dysmenorrhea is not yet tested.Objective: to determine the effect of spiritual relaxation to reduce dysmenorrhea.Method: The research design used was Quasi Experiment with the pretest-posttest Control Group Design approach. The populations were female students who experienced menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variable in this study was dysmenorrhea. The sampling technique was simple ramdom sampling consisted of 44 respondents. The calculation instrument was NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) and data were analyzed through statistical test of Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test.Results: After spiritual relaxation treatment, the intensity of menstrual pain reduced significantly from 6.05 - 1.77, it proved that there was an effect of spiritual relaxation on dysmenorrhea with a significant value (ρ) of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05). There were significant differences in the intensity of menstrual pain in the intervention and control groups (1.77 ± 1,109 vs 5.63 ± 0.445; p> 0.05).Conclusion: Spiritual relaxation effectively reduces dysmenorrhea

This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of training to increase self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. This is a quantitative research, in which experiment method is applied by using pretest-posttest control group design. The dependent variable is self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. Self efficacy towards career preference options in psychology is measured using self efficacy towards career preference options scale. The independent variable in this research is career planning training. The research subject are 40 persons groupped into experiment group and control group. Pre-test are given to both experiment and control group. next, the experiment group is given treatment of career planning training. The next step, post test is administered to experiment group and control group. The research is analized using anava repeated measure. Anava repeated measure resulted showing significant result. Thus, hyphothesis stating that there is effect of career planning training to self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology student of UNESA is accepted. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology increased after career planning training is given as treatment. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology in experiment group between pre-test and post-test is different.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Variabel tergantung pada penelitian ini adalah efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Kemampuan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi diukur dengan skala efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir. Sedangkan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan perencanaan karir. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 40 orang yang kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diberikan pre-test. Selanjutnya pada kelompok eksperimen dikenai perlakuan berupa pelatihan perencanaan karir. Tahapan berikutnya adalah pemberian posttest pada kelompok eksprimen dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis yang akan digunakan adalah anava amatan ulangan. Hasil anava amatan ulangan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan perencanaan karir terhadap efikasi diri terkait pilihan minat bidang karir psikologi pada mahasiswa psikologi UNESA, diterima. Efikasi diri terhadap pilihan minat bidang karir di Psikologi meningkat setelah diberikan pelatihan perencanaan karir.

The differences of subject load and limited ability of students in learning English give uncertainty to student of class VII in studying it. Uncertainty themselves (self-efficacy) could decrease the willingness of the students to gain expected achievement. This study aims to examine the effect of using Mind mapping Module for English (MMFE) in improving student's English self-efficacy on class VII. This research is a module validation through the method of quasi experimental design with untreated control group design with pretest and posttest dependent samples. The subjects were 31 students of class VII. Collecting data using english self-efficacy scale, comprehension test as manipulation checks, and MMFE module. Aiken's V statistic test was used to test the validity coefficient contents of module, while the mixed anova test was used to test the effect of MMFE module towards english self-efficacy. The result showed MMFE module valid by content and empiric to improving english self-efficacy of class VII students (F=5,433, p<0,05).

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan PMRI dengan metode jigsaw lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan PMRI dengan metode jigsaw lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap self-efficacy yang dimiliki siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu pendekatan PMRI dengan metode jigsaw serta variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self-efficacy siswa. Subjek populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Subjek sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal pretest-posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan prescale-postscale self-efficacy, serta instrumen pembelajaran yang berupa RPP, dan LKS. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan PMRI dengan metode jigsaw lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan PMRI dengan metode jigsaw tidak lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap self-efficacy siswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh presepsi awal siswa terhadap dirinya, lingkungan sekitarnya seperti teman sepermainan, durasi pembelajaran yang singkat, dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti diskusi kelompok yang memilih mengobrol dengan teman lainnya. Jika peneliti selanjutnya akan menggunakan variabel terikat self-efficacy maka sebaiknya memperhatikan persepsi awal siswa serta lingkungan siswa.

A well-balanced diet is one of the four pillars of diabetes self-management. Patient's culture strongly influences intake food. Diabetic dietary guidelines which fit with the patient's culture is expected to improve patient's self-efficacy and diet compliance. This study was aimed to analyze the effect of ethnic foods diet program in improving self-efficacy and diet compliance among Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients. This was quasy experiment research with pre and post-test control design. The population was 112 T2DM patients from Sasak Tribes, West Nusa Tenggara. Samples were 36 respondents, divided into intervention (18) and control (18) groups. The independent variable was the ethnic food diet (EFD) program, while the dependent variables were patient's self-efficacy and diet compliance. Data were collected using self-efficacy questionnaire and a 24-hour dietary recall form. Data were then analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney U Test. The result showed differences in self-efficacy between pre and post-test in the treatment group (p=0,001), but there were no differences in the control group. There were differences in diet compliance in the treatment group (p=0,001), but there were no differences in the control group. There were differences between treatment and control groups on self-efficacy (p=0,000) and diet compliance (p=0,000). Ethnic foods diet program can improve self-efficacy and diet compliance among T2DM patients because more comfortable and easier to be applied. Nurses can apply ethnic foods diet program as an intervention to promote healthy diet for T2DM patients.

The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques to increase learning motivation in students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul. The type of research is experimental research. The research design uses quasi-experiment. The design uses Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research population was 8th grade students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul, amounting to 149 students. The sampling technique in the research used purposive sampling. The criteria for determining the sample in the research are students of State Islamic Junior High School 6 Bantul at 8th grade which indicated to have low learning motivation. The data collection method uses a scale of learning motivation that has gone through validation processes. Data analysis using non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the experimental group's learning motivation before (M=72.17) and after (111.67) the treatment was given (p=0.027<0.05). These results can be concluded that cognitive restructuring techniques are effective to increase students learning motivation.

This study is a pre test-post test experiment with control group design having a goal to analyze  the role of scientific approach on students’ mathematical communication ability (MCA) and self confidence (SC). The study involves 46  eleventh grade Vocational School students, a mathematical communication test, a mathematical  self confidence scale (MSC), and a perception on scientific approach scale. The study found that on MCA and its Normalized Gain (N<G>), students getting treatment with scientific approach attained  better grades than the grades of students taught by conventional teaching, but both student’s grades were still at low-medium level.  On MSC,  there was no different grades between students on both teaching approaches, and those grades were at medium level.  The other findings, there is no association between MCA and MSC, and students performed high perception toward scientific approach.
