Introduction: Work-related fatigue on workers are usually caused by some factors such as individual characteristics (age, work period, nutritional status) and rest break. This research aims to analyze the correlation between individual characteristics and rest break with work-related fatigue on telecommunication network service workers. Method: This research used an observational analytic and a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample in this research were all 32 workers at I-OAN unit in a telecommunication network service company. The independent variables in this study were age, work period, nutritional status, and rest break, while the dependent variable was work-related fatigue. Data were obtained throughquestionnaires about individual characteristics (age, work period, nutritional status) and rest break filled by workers. The data were also obtained through the Industrial Fatique Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaires filled by workers. All of the data in this study were analyzed with the Spearman correlation test (α = 0.05). Results: The majority of I-OAN unit workers are in the age range of 25-29 years (46.9%), have 3-4 years of work period (56.2%), and have normal nutritional status (40.6%). For the rest break variable, there are16 workers (50%) who have <30 minutes rest break and also 16 workers (50%) who have ≥ 30 minutes rest break. Conclusion: There is a correlation between individual characteristics and rest break with work-related fatigue on telecommunication network service workers.Keywords: individual characteristics, rest break, work-related fatigue

Each type of work will cause fatigue. Fatigue is decreasing a person’s condition so that no longerable to perform the work or activities. This study is to find out the relationship between individual characteristics such as age, work period, smoking habits, exercise habits, nutritional status with work fatigue complaints of taxi driver. The method used in this research was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. This study uses a questionnaire tools work fatigue Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC), weight scales and height or microtoise Stature Meter. The population in this study was a taxi driver in Rungkut Surabaya who work at night time from 14.00 pm–12.00 pm. The studysample of 50 drivers by used purposive sampling method. The results of this study used Chi-Square. Statistical test results indicate that the age of the driver has a low relationship strength, the driver’s working period has a very strong relationship strength, smoking habits driver has a very low relationship strength, exercise habits and nutritional status drivers has a strong relationship. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the study there was no association between age, work period, smoking, exercise habits, and nutritional status and work fatigue complaints of taxi drivers. Therefore, need forsocialization or briefing about the dangers of smoking to health, eating vitamin partially substitute for cigarettes and a healthy lifestyle.Keywords: work period, nutritional status, exercise habits, indivudual characteristics, work fatigue complaints, taxi drivers

Introduction: Women participation at work, especially in the agricultural sector, is implies a status of gender equality that positions women as capable of doing work like men. However, women naturally have physically and biologically differenced with men, for example in reproductive health conditions. Menstrual disorders are important to know because it can show the function of women reproductive health disorder. Menstrual disorders can be caused by various factors. The purpose of this study was to identify individual characteristics and psychological factor (work stress) with menstrual disorders of female tobacco farmers in Ambulu Village, Jember City. Methods: This study was an observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted on August 2018 and respondents were 36 female tobacco farmers chosen by simple random sampling. Dependent variable of this study was menstrual disorders and the independent variables were individual characteristics (age, marital status, and work period) and psychological factor (work stress). Results: Obtained were that most of the respondents aged 35-44 years (55.6%), married (91.7%), having work period over 5 years (69.4%) and 58.3% respondents experienced a moderate level of work stress. Conclusion: There was a relationship between work stress and menstrual disorders. There was no relationship between individual characteristics with menstrual disorders in tobacco farmers in Ambulu Village, Jember City. Keywords: individual characteristics, menstrual disorders, work stress

Introduction: All works have the potential to cause work fatigue, one of which is in the dome installation work. Work fatigue leads to decreased work capacity and endurance to work. Factors causing work fatigue are age, sex, nutritional status, smoking habits, history of illness, work environment, workload, work hours, and rest periods. This study aims to find out the correlation between age, nutritional status, and smoking habits with work fatigue in dome installation workers at PT. A. Methods: This type of research was an observational analytic research using a cross-sectional approach. This study had a population of all employees of PT. A in the dome installation section. The samples used were 33 workers, taken using total sampling. This study was conducted in 2020. This study used variables of age, nutritional status, smoking habits, and work fatigue. Instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. The Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire was specifically used to collect data on work fatigue. In addition, data on nutritional status were obtained from the calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI). The contingency coefficient was used to analyze the data. Results: Theworkers mostly (81.8%) experienced mild work fatigue and were aged ≤ 35 years, had normal nutritional status, and were mild smokers. Conclusion: There was a weak relationship between age and nutritional status with work fatigue and a veryweak relationship between smoking habits with work fatigue. Preeclampsia is a multisystem complication that occurs after 20 weeks of gestation. In recent years there has been no significant decrease in the incidence of preeclampsia, even in developed countries it is still the main cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. This study aims to analyze differences in individual characteristics, lifestyle (physical activity), nutritional status and diet in pregnant women with a history of preeclampsia. This research design is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Samples were obtained from 55 pregnant women with consecutive sampling who met the inclusion criteria. Data analysis used chi-square test and spearman correlation test. The results showed a relationship between physical activity with systolic blood pressure (p value 0.001, r = 0.449) and diastolic (p value 0.43, r = 0.273), there was also a relationship between diet and risk factors for preeclampsia through blood pressure measurements as evidenced by increase in blood pressure (p value 0.000) in pregnant women in the working area of Puskesmas Kedungkandang Malang. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference in intervening pregnant women at risk of preeclampsia, so that the disease does not develop more severely so that it does not endanger the lives of the mother and the fetus she is carrying

Introduction: Work Fatigue is the common condition experienced by most worker but if this condition occured continously, it will affect of the worker’s health condition. Work fatigue can be affected by several factors, some of which are energy intake and nutritional status. Objective: The aim of this research was to analyze the correlation between the adequacy of energy intake and nutritional status with the level of work fatigue. Methods: This study was an analytic observational, used cross sectional study with 33 sample from 48 workers of cocoa powder production PT. Multi Aneka Pangan Nusantara Surabaya selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected by food recall 2X24 hours for energy intake, measuring weight and height for nutritional stastus and Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire for the level of fatigue. Data were analyzed by ranks spearman correlation test. Results: Most of workers were <25 years old (42.4%), the adequacy of energy intake were deficit (66.7%), the nutritional status were normal (54.5%), and the work fatigue were moderate (63.6%). The result of this research showed that there were corellation between the adequacy of energy intake (p-value=0.001) and nutritional status (p-value=0.018) with the level of work fatigue. Conclussion: In conclusion, lower energy intake and high BMI would increase the level of fatigue.ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Kelelahan kerja menjadi keadaan umum yang dialami hampir semua tenaga kerja, namun jika hal ini terjadi secara terus menerus dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan pekerja. Terdapat hubungan antara kecukupan asupan energi (p=0,001) dan status gizi (p=0,018) dengan tingkat kelelahan kerja pekerja.Kesimpulan:. Semakin kurang asupan energi dan semakin tinggi IMT maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat kelelahan kerja pada pekerja.

Abstract: The need for cigarette consumption in Indonesia judging by the number of smokers is 64.5 million. As a result, each cigarette factory will produce continuously with one of the resources for production activities coming from human labor, where they are tasked with achieving company goals. However, in practice, human labor is always directed to have a high level of productivity by paying attention to the workload and fulfilling nutritional intake in order to minimize excessive fatigue and maintain stamina. This study was conducted to determine the partial impact of nutritional status and subjective fatigue level on the productivity of the cigarette-rolling workers at PT. X Kabupaten Malang. Where the model used is quantitative analysis with an analytical observational research design, namely a cross-sectional study. The instruments used include the International Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire, Glass Electronic Personal Scale with Camry brand model: EB9003, and Gea brand microtoise. The significance value of the nutritional status variable was 0.857 for the normal BMI category and 0.708 for the obese BMI category which showed no influence between nutritional status and productivity, and the significance value of the subjective fatigue level variable was 0.215 for the low subjective fatigue level category which showed no the effect of subjective fatigue level with productivity. Abstrak: Kebutuhan konsumsi rokok di Indonesia dilihat dari jumlah perokok ialah sebаnyаk 64,5 jutа рerоkоk. Akibatnya setiap pabrik rokok akan memproduksi secara kontinu dengan sumber daya untuk kegiatan produksi salah satunya berasal dari tenaga kerja manusia, dimana mereka bertugas untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, tenaga kerja senantiasa diarahkan agar memiliki tingkat produktivitas tinggi dengan cara memperhatikan beban kerja serta pemenuhan asupan gizi guna meminimalisir kelelahan berlebih serta menjaga stamina. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial antara status gizi dan tingkat kelelahan subjektif terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja bagian linting rokok di PT. X Kabupaten Malang. Dimana model yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian observasional analitik yakni studi potong lintang. Instrumen yang digunakan antara lain kuesioner International Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC), Glass Electronic Personal Scale dengan merk Camry model: EB9003, serta microtoise merk Gea. Didapatkan nilai signifikansi dari variabel status gizi sebesar 0.857 untuk kategori IMT normal dan 0.708 untuk kategori IMT gemuk yang menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh antara status gizi dengan produktivitas, serta nilai signifikansi dari variabel tingkat kelelahan subjektif sebesar 0.215 untuk kategori tingkat kelelahan subjektif rendah yang menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh antara tingkat kelelahan subjektif dengan produktivitas.

Background: Work-related stress is becoming one of the key themes for attention because of its serious threats on workers’ wellbeing, job dissatisfaction and absenteeism.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the employees' individual differences in the perception of main workplace stressors, perceived job related stress and experienced health consequences.Methods: In a cross-sectional study a sample of 106 employees was surveyed within a private enterprise in Republic of Macedonia.Results: Analysis showed significant differences in experienced stress at work due to age, marital status, number of children, time spend in the current work position and working hours per day. Stressors such as: lack of personal knowledge and skills (60.4%), big pressure for last minute job completion (60.4%) and unstable work position (47.2%) were pointed out the most potential sources for job stress. The majority of employees who always experience health problems as a result of job stress were female (61.9%), on non-managerial position (85.7%), and 5 to 10 years in the current work position (42.9%).Conclusion: Employees are exposed to many potential work related stressors which differently affect their job satisfaction and result in ill health. A better understanding of the individual characteristics and potential stressors should subsequently help managers' better deal with this problem. This underlines the need for further research and design of stress reduction interventions.

Abstract: Work-related diseases that cause skin disorders are called occupational skin diseases inter alia contact dermatitis and urticaria. Work-related contact dermatitis reaches 20% of all occupational diseases; 80% of them occur in hands. Occupational contact dermatitis can be experienced by all workers such as cleaning service workers because they are often exposed to irritants and allergen substances in their work places due to unavailable personal protective equipment. This study was aimed to obtain the overview of occupational contact dermatitis incidence among cleaning services of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado. This was a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. Respondents of this study involved 135 cleaning service workers obtained by using total sampling method. The results showed that 28 of 135 respondents (20,7%) were suffered from occupational contact dermatitis. Conclusion: Occupational contact dermatitis was found in around 20% of the cleaning service workers at Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado.Keywords: occupational contact dermatitis, cleaning service Abstrak: Penyakit akibat kerja yang menyebabkan kelainan pada kulit disebut penyakit kulit akibat kerja yang dapat berupa dermatitis kontak dan urtikaria. Dermatitis kontak akibat kerja (DKAK) mencapai 20% dari seluruh penyakit akibat kerja dan 80% terjadi di tangan. Dermatitis kontak akibat kerja dapat terjadi pada semua pekerja, diantaranya petugas cleaning service akibat sering terpapar bahan iritan dan alergen di tempat kerja tanpa penggunaan alat pelindung diri yang memadai dan tingkat kebersihan diri yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian DKAK pada petugas cleaning service di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif dengan desain potong lintang. Jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 135 orang diperoleh dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa 28 dari 135 responden (20,7%) mengalami dermatitis kontak akibat kerja. Simpulan: Dermatitis kontak akibat kerja ditemukan pada sekitar 20% petugas cleaning service RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado.Kata kunci: dermatitis kontak akibat kerja, cleaning service

Background: Upper limb musculoskeletal disorders are a health problem among in dental jobs. The aim of the study was to investigate of upper limb musculoskeletal disorders among dental jobs. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out among 190 in dental jobs of in Tehran cities of Iran in 2016. A modified Nordic questionnaire with interview was used to collect data on individual characteristics and musculoskeletal disorders, Univariate analyses and multiple logistic regression analysis were then performed. Results: In this study dental jobs were participated with age (mean ±SD) 33.56±9.33 yrs., duration of employment 10.19 ±8.85. Prevalence rate of reported upper limb musculoskeletal disorders in each body site was 72.4% in previous 12-month. The most prevalent musculoskeletal complaints was neck pain (33.3%). Significant relations were found between occurrence of upper limb musculoskeletal disorders and age, gender, heavy work (P-value<0.05). Conclusion: For important action in reduce Upper limb musculoskeletal disorders, design station works by ergonomics of standards and exercise often work are suggested.
