Background: Umrah pilgrims have a high potential risk of getting infected by Meningococcus Meningitis . Even though meningitis cases had never happened in Indonesia, The vaccination carried out less than 14 days in the Port Health Office Class I of Surabaya (PHO) was still found in December 2018. Purpose: The research aims to analyze the accuracy of Meningococcus Meningitis immunization in the Port Health Office Class I Surabaya (PHO) at Tanjung Perak Port Work Area in December 2018. Methods: The research was carried out in a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional study design. The research samples included all Umrah pilgrims who were vaccinated with Meningococcus Meningitis immunization. The variables consisted of age, time-range of vaccination implementation, gender, and domicile/residence of respondents. The data analysis was carried out using univariate analysis and displayed in the form of a frequency table. Results: This study indicated that almost all pilgrims were vaccinated in more than or equal to 14 days (76%). Meanwhile, the others (24%) were vaccinated at less than 14 days, i.e., at 5-6 days before departure. The majority of pilgrims with a history of vaccinations on less than 14 days of departure were female (56.12%) and lived in Surabaya (55.27%). Conclusion: The majority of the pilgrims in PHO Class I of Surabaya had carried out Meningococcus Meningitis vaccination promptly. However, a small number of pilgrims did not carry out vaccinations under the specified time. Female pilgrims, mostly domiciled in Surabaya, dominated the vaccination on less than 14 days.

ABSTRACT Objective: to evaluate the resistance and pressure of the lips in Class I, II and III Angle’s malocclusion subjects, in comparison to reference values and relate them with gender and age. Methods: a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study. Participants included 40 subjects, 20 women and 20 men, average age 26.3 years, separated by occlusal classification. The volunteers answered on the self-reported performance of the stomatognathic functions and were submitted to the evaluation of the mobility and posture of the lips. Pressure and resistance were measured with the Iowa Oral Performance Instrument (IOPI) and the results compared to the reference values described in the instrument´s manual. The data were analyzed descriptively and, for inferential analysis, Pearson's Chi-Square test was used. The significance level was considered 5%. Results: a decrease in pressure and resistance values wasobserved in all patients, including Angle’s class I group. There was an inverse relationship between the age of the subjects and the values of pressure of lips with statistical significance (p = 0.02). In general, women had lower pressure values than men. Conclusion: all study subjects had lower pressure of the lips than the reference values described in the literature.

Quali-quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study, evaluated 89 children aged 1 and 3 years old, 41 in public and 48 in the private childcare centers. A  protocol assessment was performed  of linguistics abilities (phonological, semantic, morphosyntax and pragmatic) and feeding. About the phonological abilities,  a significant predominance was checked, being the unintelligible speech the main altered aspect, especially in the public center. Concerning semantic abilities discrepant findings were determined between the daycare centers, particularly in selection of adequate words and concept and idea expression, with improved performance of children in the private daycares. There was no difference between the daycares, for morphosyntax abilities acquisition. The pragmatic abilities revealed larger differences between the daycare centers, in which all the evaluated aspects were statistically significant and the children in the private daycare centers had better results. About the feeding, similar findings were obtained to food consistence, posture and tools, although there were  divergences related to use of nursing bottle and feeding independence. It was concluded  that the socioeconomic and cultural context influence in linguistic and feeding development, because the private daycares children presented better performance  in almost all the evaluated aspects. Keywords: Child Development. Abstract: With the aim of demonstrating the elements that lead to the satisfaction of the professionals of participating companies with the performance of the Supplier Development Programs - SDPs, something that can improve the performance of this type of program, this research aimed to identify if the trust, in its affective, behavioral and cognitive components, influences the commitment and the perception of less risks, leading, consequently, to the satisfaction of the professionals of participating companies with the performance of the SDPs to which they are linked. Based on studies involving all the analyzed constructs, relationships between them were suggested and a structural model was proposed associating them. A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out involving professionals from buyers and suppliers that participate in SDPs from all over Brazil, obtaining a sample, characterized as non-probabilistic and by accessibility, of 609 respondents from the application of a self-administered electronic questionnaire. For the analysis of the data, the modeling of structural equations was used, which indicated a positive relation for almost all the hypotheses, with only one being rejected. The findings suggest that reinforcing trust, mainly behavioral and cognitive, can increase the commitment of companies to the actions developed by the SDPs to which they are linked, as well as generate the perception that there are fewer risks when transacting with companies also linked to these programs, resulting in the satisfaction of buyers and suppliers. This may result in better program efficiency and effectiveness, and this is a contribution of this study, by identifying what leads participants to SDPs to be satisfied.

Background: According to the new classification criteria developed by The Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society, patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) can be classified in 2 subgroups: Patients with radiographic axial spondyloarthritis: ankylosing spondylitis patients (AS) and those with non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA). Objective: The aim of the present study is to describe and discuss the differences and similarities between the two subgroups. Patients and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in a single rheumatology hospital in Morocco. These included patients diagnosed as having axial spondyloarthritis according to ASAS criteria 2010, during a period of 6 years. The AS and the nr-axSpA subgroups were compared for the various axSpA-related variables. Results: Of the 277 patients with a diagnosis of axial SpA who were included in this study, 160 had AS and 117 had nr-axSpA. AS and nr-ax-SpA shared a similar age at diagnosis, similar prevalence of low back pain, lumbar stiffness, extra-articular manifestations, BASDAI and BASFI. In the multivariate analysis, AS patients were mainly male with cervical stiffness, enthesitis, coxitis and high level of ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate). The females generally had a family history of SpA and arthritis and were associated to the nr-axSpA form in the univariate analysis. Conclusion: This was the first study to characterise patients with AS and nr-axSpA in Morocco. Consistent with other studies published, this study showed that patients with nr-axSpA and patients with AS shared a comparable degree of disease burden.

The current trend of secularization seems to be leading to a gradual withdrawal of religion from public spaces. However, in an increasingly internationalized world, it is becoming more and more important to study the roles of religion and religiosity and their potential in relation to dialogue and social conflicts and tensions. Education is a vital field within which to address this religious issue and create an educational dialogue in order to promote coexistence. By following a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, based on a quasi-experimental methodology with a social–analytical character, our aim is to assess the existing connections between religion, interrelation and opinion in Spanish children and adolescents. Special attention is paid to the interaction between age and beliefs. We carried out our study with the use of a questionnaire distributed to eleven secondary schools, with students aged between 11 and 16 years old, in three regions of southern Spain (Andalusia, Ceuta, and Melilla) characterized by high religious diversity and multiculturalism. The multivariate analysis carried out in this study identifies the effects of variance on the influence of age and religion, highlighting the interaction between the two. It is observed that the youngest students are those who express their opinions about religion the least, while those belonging to younger age groups and majority religions are those who express a greater religious coexistence, with Muslims externalizing their religious condition the most.

Background: During the long wait and the global anxiety for a vaccine against COVID-19, impressively high-safety and effective vaccines were invented by multiple pharmaceutical companies. Aim: We aimed to assess the attitudes of healthcare providers and evaluate their intention to advocate for the vaccine. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in a tertiary private hospital where an electronic survey was distributed among healthcare providers (HCPs). The survey contained two sections: socio-demographic characteristics and Likert-scale perception, with 72% internal consistency. Results: The response rate to the email survey was 37% (n = 236). In addition, 169 (71.6%) of respondents were women, with more than half (134, 56.8%) aged ≤35 years. A total of 110 (46.6%) had over 10 years of experience, and most of them were nurses (146, 62%). Univariate analysis revealed that older participants significantly accepted and advocated for the new vaccine more than the younger ones. In the multivariate analysis, men were significantly more likely than women to accept and advocate for the new vaccine, as were those with chronic illnesses. Participants with allergy were significantly less likely to accept the vaccine than others. odds ratio (OR) and p-values were 2.5, 0.003; 2.3, 0.04; and 0.4, 0.01, respectively. Conclusion: The acceptance rate for the newly-developed COVID-19 vaccines was average among HCPs. Sex, age, presence of chronic illnesses, and allergy were significant predictors of accepting the vaccine.
