Covid-19 is a contagious disease that causes emergencies in the world including Indonesia. This situation causes all activities to be hampered, especially in terms of mobility that is needed to carry out activities. Transportation is an important tool in this regard. The government is demanding that as soon as possible take steps to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19, so a rule or regulation is needed. The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia, which began in March 2020, continued until the Eid 1441 H took place. It has become a culture and tradition in Indonesia when Eid is to stay in touch with relatives and return to their hometown or usually called mudik. This of course requires a mode of transportation. To prevent the acceleration of the spread of the virus, the government issued a regulation on the prohibition of mudik through Permenhub No. 25/2020. The issuance of this regulation is a government preventive measure in handling Covid-19. However, this causes losses to prospective passengers who have already bought tickets for going home and those who hope to meet with their families. Regarding this, regulation must not only contain regulatory matters such as prohibitions and sanctions for those who violate them but also provide solutions to unwanted things such as compensation as a form of liability. However, whether law enforcement and the application of this regulation are effective according to government directives or not.

The government, through the Directorate General of Immigration, an Indonesian government agency under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, has carried out one of its duties and functions, namely the supervision and control of foreigners residing in Indonesian territory, based on Law Number 6, 2011 concerning Immigration. The supervision or control is carried out to enforce the law, especially the immigration law. The class II Lhokseumawe Immigration Office in the Aceh province, which is the technical implementation unit for immigration in the region, has carried out its duties and functions of monitoring and controlling foreigners in its working area since the release of regulation No. 6, 2011. The results of this study reported that the implementation of supervision of foreigners at the Lhokseumawe Immigration Office has been carried out properly based on the regulation concerning Immigration and Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights. But some constraints are still encountered, particularly lack of supervisory staff number, the width of the working area, and the limited budget. The author's suggestion should be that the implementation of supervision and control of foreigners at this working area should be carried out as often as possible and at the same time, the stakeholder (government) should resolve the obstacles met by staffs so that the immigration law enforcement can be achieved and improved.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus, is currently affecting a large population across the globe. World health organization (WHO) has already declared COVID-19, a pandemic, and the world is fighting to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Nepal has taken several preventive measures to control the coronavirus outbreak. However, some additional steps are needed to prevent community transmission of the disease. This brief communication discusses the government of Nepal actions and provides recommendations for the prevention and control of COVID-19 infection in Nepal.

The world has been highly impacted by the COVID-19 as the virus has spread to all continents – about 200 countries in total. The latest update claims about 4,000,000 confirmed cases and about 300,000 confirmed deaths owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. This probably makes the COVID-19 as the most dangerous contagious disease in the era 2000s. Apart from massive publications on this topic, there is no available qualitative analysis that describes the dynamic spreads of the COVID-19 and its impacts on healthcare and the economy. Through the system archetypes analysis, this paper explains that the dynamic spread of the COVID-19 consists of the limits to growth and the success to successful structures. The limits to growth elucidates that more symptomatic and asymptomatic patients owing to infected droplets may be bounded by self-healing and isolated treatments. The success to successful structure explains that once the COVID-19 affects the economy through the lockdown, there will be a limited fund to support the government aids and the aggregate demand. In overall, this paper gives readers simplified holistic insights into understanding the dynamic spread of the COVID-19.


An infectious disease caused by a novel coronavirus called COVID-19 has raged across the world since December 2019. The novel coronavirus first appeared in Wuhan, China, and quickly spread to Asia and now many countries around the world are affected by the epidemic. The deaths of many patients, including medical staff, caused social panic, media attention, and high attention from governments and world organizations. Today, with the joint efforts of the government, the doctors and all walks of life, the epidemic in Hubei Province has been brought under control, preventing its spread from affecting the lives of the people. Because of its rapid spread and serious consequences, this sudden novel coronary pneumonia epidemic has become an important social hot spot event. Through the analysis of the novel coronary pneumonia epidemic situation, we can also have a better understanding of sudden infectious diseases in the future, so that we can take more effective response measures, establish a truly predictable and provide reliable and sufficient information for prevention and control model.

The writing of this article aims to find out and analyze how the analysis of Governor Regulation Number 46 of 2020 concerning the Application of Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols as Efforts to Prevent and Control Covid-19 seen from the rapid spread of the corona virus at this time. After the announcement of a positive case for the Covid-19 virus by the government on March 2 (two) 2020, the government continued to increase efforts and policies to suppress transmission of this virus. Starting from limiting social relationships (social distancing), limiting physical contact relationships (physical comparison) by appealing to all State apparatus, BUMN employees and private employees to limit activities in the office by encouraging work from home. The writing of this article is a research that uses a normative research method, using a statutory approach. Then analyzed descriptively qualitatively using primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials to get conclusions that are relevant to the problems at hand. The result of writing this article is how the form of public services provided by the Bali provincial government to the community to deal with or prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The first ever Coronavirus outbreak was identified in Wuhan, Hubei, China in December 2019 and was recognized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020. The cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) are increasing exponentially around the globe. Various measures like Social Distancing, Complete lockdown and Curfew are seen in the likes of India, China, Italy among others. India, as a nation, got an opportunity to learn from their experiences and initiated a complete lockdown in the whole country until the end of April. The economies around the world got hit by such lockdowns due to which, as many economists predict, a recession seems inevitable. The unemployment rate will likely increase and people will be left with less disposable incomes, paving the way for an economic crisis. With the experience of major crisis in the past, we have noticed that the crime rates in and post such situations tend to increase. The situation with the law enforcement organization needs to be handled with care and caution if India and other countries hope to bounce back strongly. This paper has studied the past economic recessions and changes in crime rate during and post economic recovery. It also aims to enlist a variety of measures that the government of India is taking to fight the crisis arising due to COVID-19 along with some suggestions to control the situation afterwards.

Corruption is a problem in the economy of every nation in the world, whether in Government or private environments. With the promulgation of Act No. 31 of the year 1999 Jo Act No. 20 year 2001. The Government in the year 2002 through Law – Law Number 30 year 2002 about corruption eradication Commission formed corruption eradication Commission (KPK) which is a specialized agency in dealing with the special corruption. At issue is how the authorities of the corruption eradication Commission (KPK) in conducting the investigation, the crime of corruption? And how coordination between the corruption eradication Commission (KPK) and other law enforcement agencies in conducting the investigation, the crime of corruption? The study used is the normative legal research i.e. research examines law is a law written from various aspects, but does not examine aspects of applied or implementation. Approach this research method by means of reviewing all laws, understanding the hierarchy of principles and legislation. The conclusion in May of this research is that in regards to the investigation of criminal acts of corruption, the corruption eradication Commission (KPK) has authority that is doing the coordination and supervision that can perform the takeover against investigation or the prosecution conducted by the Police and the Prosecutor's Office. But in the relationship between the coordination with other law enforcement agencies KPK still haven't made good cooperation.

The study sheds light on the current tendencies if the international law on warfare can successfully be applied in the practical reality in the progress of counterinsurgency and counterterrorism efforts. There have been two phenomena identified recently in the warfare which are endangering public security and public safety of the democratic states of the world: terrorism and insurgency. Both of them mean a threat and violation to the population and the government authorities. It has been queried in the military literature whether these new forms of warfare should be handled by military engagements or law enforcement. This is, nevertheless, not just a dilemma of the strategy how to combat against it, but should be, at the same time, in accordance with the international legal regulations, too

The new variant of corona virus from Wuhan is indeed very infectious. The Covid-19 has shocked the world because it is so deadly and takes many lives. So this has a significant impact on each country. Indonesia, to tackle the spread of this virus, has also implemented several ways, namely by encouraging people to live clean and healthy lives, implementing the 5M (Wearing masks, Washing hands, Keeping a distance, Staying away from crowds, Limiting mobilisation and interaction) and imposing restrictions. The government's efforts are solely for the common good. However, it is undeniable the large-scale social restrictions or Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) implementation also has an unfavourable impact on the community because their movement is restricted. This indirectly also harms the people's economic movement. So there are still some people who violate this PSBB rule. This study was conducted to determine whether the ultimum remedium is applied in law enforcement for PSBB violations. The research will use qualitative research by collecting data and news analyzation. The study results show that the government applies criminal sanctions and fines as an alternative to deter people.

The application of criminal politics in the handling of criminal acts of terrorism is a preventive measure that can be taken to reduce the crime rate of terrorism. Terrorism is an organized crime, has a national and international network that is very troubling and concerns the world. Criminal acts of terrorism will occur at any time with unpredictable targets, their actions cause widespread public fear, cause casualties and property losses that are not small, also cause a very broad impact on the life of nation and state. Considering that the crime of terrorism is an extraordinary criminal act, it will also be overcome by using unusual methods such as ordinary crime in general. The preservation of criminal politics is a preventive effort that can be carried out by the government in preventing the emergence of criminal acts of terrorism.
