Abstrak: Rendahnya karakter dan keterampilan proses siswa dikarenakan mereka kurang berpartisipasi aktif dalam menggali dan menemukan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatih karakter dan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui penerapan model discovery learning. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dibagi dalam 2 siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri atas 3 kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas 7 E SMPN 24 Banjarmasin pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen pengamatan karakter dan instrumen tes keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data karakter siswa adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Karakter  siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 57,14 % dengan kategori cukup meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85,71% dengan kategori baik; dan (2) Hasil perhitungan n-gain keterampilan proses pada siklus 1 sebesar 0,24 dan pada siklus II sebesar 0,62; berarti peningkatannya semula dalam kategori rendah meningkat menjadi sedang. Abstract: The low character and process skills of students because they lack active participation in exploring and discovering knowledge. This study aims to train students' character and science process skills through the application of discovery learning models. The research method is classroom action research which is divided into 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The subjects of the study were 36 students, grade 7 E in SMPN 24 Banjarmasin in the 2018/2019 school year. Data collection uses character observation instruments and science process skill test instruments. Student character data analysis techniques are qualitative descriptive and N-gain test. The results of the study showed that: (1) The character of students in the first cycle was 57.14% with a sufficiently increased category in the second cycle of 85.71% with a good category; and (2) The results of the calculation of n-gain process skills in the first cycle are 0.24 and in the second cycle are 0.62; means that the increase in the initial low category increases to moderate.

This research  is a research and development that aims to know to create an integrated IPA module, the feasibility of integrated IPA module, the improvement of the activity, science process skill, and student’s learning result by using integrated IPA module, the advantage and disadvantages using integrated IPA module based on discovery learning on vibration, waves, and sounds materials. The research method is research and development. This research conducted in class VIII C of SMP YPK 2 Manokwari with 30 students. The result shows that :  1) The feasibility of integrated IPA module based on discovery learning on vibration, waves, and sounds materials from validator 91,49% with very decent category, IPA teachers got 90,83% with very good category, and the result of  try out in small scale got 87,75% 2) The  integrated IPA module based on discovery learning on vibration, waves, and sounds can improved the science process skills  with skilled categories (63,15%)  3)

This research is a classroom action research. The purposes of this study are 1) describing the activities of Lecturers and Students in Human Animal Physiology courses on circulation material with the 5E learning cycle strategy, 2) describing students' science process skills in Human Animal Physiology courses on circulation material with learning cycle strategy. The research method used is descriptive, to describe the activities of Lecturers and Students as well as science process skills. The data analysis technique used is quantitative-qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that 1) the implementation of the syntax of the 5E learning in the first cycle is 86.5% and the second cycle is 93.3%, 2) the value of science process skills in the first cycle is 73.3% and the second cycle is 82%. There are differences in the average implementation of the learning cycle 5E syntax and the science process skills between cycle I and cycle II.

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of worksheet based on a scientific approach on the vibration and wave materials based on activity and science process skill test. This research uses Pre-Experimental design form with One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design. The subjects of this research are students of 8th grade SMP Al-Falah Deltasari Sidoarjo 2016/2017 school year totaling 26 students. Data collection in this research using the method of observation and test, using student activity sheet instrument and science process skill test sheets. The result of research for student activity has percentage of 85,10%. Classic completeness can be achieved with the percentage of 80.77% and students can improve the science process skills with n-Gain score of 0.80 which belongs to high category.Keywords : effectiveness, scientific approach, science process skill

This study aims to obtain an objective clarity regarding the application of discovery learning models to students' science process skills in dynamic electrical material for class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. This research method uses the Quasi Experiment Design method with the research design is Posttest-Only Nonequivalent Groups. Data collection techniques are essay tests to measure students' science process skills. The population in this study were all grade IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya consisting of 4 classes. The sample in this study were students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya in class IX B and class IX C in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year, taken by cluster random sampling. Analysis of the data description using the average equation (mean), analysis of the hypothesis test using the U Maan Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that 1) the students' science process skills after applying the direct learning model to the dynamic electrical material of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya is classified as not good at 62.67; 2) students' science process skills after the discovery learning model applied to the dynamic electrical material of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya is classified as good, amounting to 81.07; 3) there are differences in the science process skills of students who are taught using discovery learning models and students who are taught using direct learning models on dynamic electrical material for class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya.Keywords: Student Science Process Skills, Discovery Learning

Abstract This research aims to find out how much the effectiveness of using guided discovery learning model on temperature and heat material to improve students' science process skills. The research design used is Class Action Research which consists of three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Labschool Jakarta who have a low level of science process skill. Aspects of science process skills studied are hypothetical skills, interpretation of data, and communicate the findings. This research the step of guided discovery learning is:  stimulus, problem statement, data collection, processing data, verifikation, generalisation. The instrument used is the KPS observation sheet and students’ worksheet. The indicator of this research is 70% of students can formulate a hypothesis, interpret the data and communicate data correctly. The results showed in the first cycle that students science process skills reach 17%, cycle II 61%, and in cycle III 81%. The average in third cycle is hypothetical skill 90.28 (very good category), data interpretation 91,67 (very good category), and communication skill 79 (good category). Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of students' science process skill by using guided discovery learning model on temperature and heat material. Keywords: science process skill, guided discovery learning, action research classroom Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model guided discovery learning pada materi suhu dan kalor. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Labschool Jakarta yang mempunyai tingkat keterampilan proses sains rendah sekali. Aspek keterampilan proses sains yang diteliti adalah keterampilan berhipotesis, interpretasi data, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil penemuan. Dalam penelitian ini langkah dari guided discovery learning yaitu: stimulus, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verifikasi, dan generalisasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi KPS dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah apabila 70% Peserta didik dapat merumuskan hipotesis, interpretasi data dan mengkomunikasikan data dengan benar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I keterampilan proses sains siswa mencapai 17%, siklus II 61%, dan pada siklus III 81%. Rata-rata nilai LKS pada siklus tiga adalah: keterampilan hipotesis 90,28 (kategori sangat baik), interpretasi data 91,67 (kategori sangat baik), dan keterampilan komunikasi 79 (kategori baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model guided discovery learning pada materi suhu dan kalor. Abstract: This study aims to find out is there a significant difference between the results of science process skills of students using project based learning with the results of science process skills of students using conventional learning. The research method used was Quasi Experiment. The instrument in this study used a science process skill test, in the form of observation sheets and multiple choice tests. Based on the results of research on the experimental class posttest data showing the results of the average percentage of science process skills, the experimental class received a percentage of 69.84% while the control class received an average value of 39.64%. Then the t-test calculated from the posttest value shows that tcount = 10.17 is greater t table (0.05) = 2, so that tcount> ttable. So it can be concluded that H0 is accepted, meaning that there are influences of science process skills of students using a project-based learning model. And based on the average value of science process skills measured by observation sheet is 79.37% with good categories, and the highest indicator in the experimental class is observing 85.41% and the lowest science process skills are hypotheses which is 75%. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil keterampilan proses sains peserta didik menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) dengan hasil keterampilan proses sains peserta didik menggunakan pembelajaraan konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes keterampilan proses sains, berupa lembar observasi dan tes berupa pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian data postest kelas eksperimen menunjukkan hasil nilai rata-rata persentasi keterampilan proses sains, kelas eksperimen mendapat persentasi sebesar 69,84% sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapat nilai rata-rata persentasi 39,64%. Kemudian dihitung uji-t dari nilai postest  menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 10,17 lebih besar ttabel(0,05) = 2, sehingga thitung > ttabel . Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains yang diukur dengan lembar obsevasi sebesar 79,37% dengan kategori baik, serta indikator tertinggi pada kelas eksperimen yaitu mengamati sebesar 85,41% dan keterampilan proses sains yang terendah adalah hipotesis yaitu sebesar 75%.

The objective of this research is to analyze the science process skills (SPS) of the summative test items in physics in Surakarta. This research used a descriptive method with content analysis, namely: summative test items in Academic Year 2015/2016 in Surakarta. Each item was analyzed based on science process skill indicators prepared and elaborated by the researchers. The result and discussion of the research showed that the SPS found in the summative test items in Physics in Surakarta included those of formulating hypotheses (2.88%), designing experiments (2.10%), interpreting data (5.10%), applying concepts (70.20%), communicating (6.64%), and drawing conclusions (13.08%) respectively.

Abstract. The low level of science process skills (KPS) of students has an impact on the difficulty to understand physics learning. For this reason, a development research which aimed to produce and describe the feasibility of learning devices based on learner autonomy that are able to train science process skills was carried out. The research used a development model of ADDIE. The research subjects were 26 eleventh graders of science class-3 (class XI IPA-3) of Public Senior High School (SMAN) 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and tests. Technical data analysis was carried out in quantitative and qualitative descriptive ways. The results showed that the learning devices developed were: (1) valid according to academician’s assessment with very good categories, (2) practical according to the implementation of lesson plan (RPP) with very good category, (3) Effective according to the gain score achieved with moderate category, and (4) result in students’ Science Process Skills (KPS) achievement with skilled category. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning devices based on learner autonomy to train science process skills developed are feasible to be used in learning. Keywords: learner autonomy, science process skills. Abstrak. Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains (KPS) peserta didik berdampak pada kesulitan memahami pembelajaran fisika. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis learner autonomy yang mampu melatihkan keterampilan proses sains, sekaligus mendeskripsikan kelayakannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah 26 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes. Teknis analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan: (1) valid berdasarkan penilaian akademisi dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) praktis berdasarkan keterlaksanaan RPP yang berkategori sangat baik, (3) Efektif berdasarkan perolehan gain skor yang berkategori sedang, dan (4) Pencapaian KPS siswa berkategori terampil. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis learner autonomy untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Learner Autonomy, Keterampilan Proses Sains.

<p class="Abstract">The aim of this research was to determine the analysis of science process skills in textbooks of chemistry grade XI in SMA N 1 Teras, Boyolali. This research used the descriptive method. The instruments were developed based on 10 indicators of science process skills (observing, classifying, finding a conclusion, predicting, raising the question, hypothesizing, planning an experiment, manipulating materials, and equipment, Applying, and communicating). We analyzed 3 different chemistry textbooks that often used by teachers in teaching. The material analyzed in the book was solubility and solubility product concept in terms of concept explanation and student activity. The results of this research showed different science process skill criteria in 3 different chemistry textbooks. Book A appeared 50% of all aspects of science process skills, in Book B appeared 80% of all aspects of science process skills, and in Book C there was 40% of all aspects of the science process skills. The most common indicator in all books was observing (33.3%), followed by prediction (19.05%), classifying (11.90%), Applying (11.90% ), planning experiments (9.52%), manipulating materials and equipment (7.14%), finding conclusion (4.76%), communicating (2.38%). Asking the question and hypothesizing did not appear in textbooks.</p>

This research is a qualitative study aimed to describe the teacher's perception of pop-up book media when applied to the material building space in the V grade elementary school. The research method of using qualitative descriptive with the research data source is the teacher of grade V in elementary school Tanjungsari, namely VA and VB. The data collection techniques used are online interviews through the WhatsApp app. Data analysis techniques using the technical of Miles and Huberman are data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The result of this study raises positive perceptions of class V teachers. The Media pop-up book is interesting to apply to material solid figure in class V, seeing students who are always interested in new things, because this media has not been used, so that the media pop-up book is very good to be applied in class V, in order to support the creativity of students, so that students will be happy and think critically in the process of learning math material solid figure.
