Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika melalui pendekatan kontekstual siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin sebanyak 17 orang yang terdiri atas sepuluh orang laki-laki dan tujuh orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi serta hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran juga kategori baik.   Kata kunci: pendekatan kontekstual, prestasi belajar, matematika. Abstract: This study aims to improve mathematics learning achievement through the contextual approach of eight grade students of SMPN 1 Hatungun, Tapin Regency. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 17 students, consisting of ten boys and seven girls. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation and the results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Other results indicate that student activities in the learning process and teacher activities in learning management are also in good category. Keywords: contextual approach, learning achievement, mathematics.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of biology science learning in MTs students. Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency through inductive thinking model (inductive thinking). The subjects in this study were students of class VII MTs. Darul Aminin NW Aikmual, Central Lombok Regency. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets to collect data about teacher and student activities during the learning process, and student cognitive learning outcomes test sheets. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the following steps: planning, implementing the action, observing, and reflecting. The approach used to study the problem is a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are: observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that, in the first cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of completeness of 54.28% belonging to the fairly active category. Whereas in cycle II, the percentage of completeness is 88.57% which is classified as active category. This shows an increase in biology science learning outcomes in class VII MTs students. <em>This research aimed to find out the increasing of learning outcomes in the accounting worksheet, the teacher’s activities of instructional management, and the student’s activities in the learning process at XI-IPS1 classes of SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan in the academic year 2019/2020. The type of this research was classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR) by applying the contextual approach and the problem-posing method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation of the activities of students and teachers in the class, as well as learning achievement tests in each cycle. The data analysis technique used was a descriptive qualitative analysis conducted on teacher activities in the learning process, student activities in learning, and analysis of student learning outcomes.</em> <em>The result of this analysis showed that both teacher’s and student’s activities indicated gradual increases in the three cycles. Student’s learning outcomes also went up in each cycle. The observation of teacher’s activities in the first cycle was 4.04 and become 4.21 in the second cycle, and went up to 4.29 in the third cycle. The observation of student’s activities in the first cycle was 2.95 and become 3.45 in the second cycle and went up to 3.60 in the third cycle. Classically, passing rates in the first cycle were 41.66% and in the second cycle, it increased by 69.44% and went up to 88.89% in the third cycle. The strength in learning by the contextual approach and the problem-posing method were it can improve teacher’s activities, student’s activities, and learning outcomes. While the weaknesses were it needs more time to prepare the subject and the student with inadequacy in the problem-posing unable to follow the lessons. Based on the result of this research it could be concluded, the contextual approach and the problem-posing method are eligible in improving the student learning outcomes in the accounting worksheet.</em>

The background of this research is the poor performance of student mathematics learning class I SDN 003 Tagaran Tapah Darussalam. The low yield of this study was due to: (a) from 24 students only 8 people are visible in following the spirit of the learning process; (b) the interest of students in the teacher's task is still lacking, it is seen when given the job of more than 50% of students do not do a good job; (c) visible from 24 students only 40% who responded to the question posed by the teacher; and (d) if no problems are considered difficult, low-ability students who are just waiting for the result of his highly capable, without any attempt to resolve the matter. For that research by applying the method Jarimatika with the aim of improving the results of students' mathematics learning. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles in cycle I and cycle II, each cycle is done in two sessions, the steps of this study consists of four stages: (1) planning; (2) the implementation of the action; (3) observation; and (4) reflection. Based on observations prior to the application of the method jarimatika student learning outcomes at baseline before treatment, learning outcomes of students obtained an average percentage of 66.88% with a fairly high category. Then based on the observation of the first cycle which indicates that the level of student learning outcomes reached with an average percentage of 69.79% with a high category. While on the second cycle increased achieving student learning outcomes obtained an average percentage of 78.54% with a high category.

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes.student laziness can be caused by ineffective teaching and learning processes, the teacher is not right in determining the learning model and does not use teaching aids as a medium for learning mathematics, this results in the low student learning outcomes, the purpose of this research is to find out the activities of student and teachers in mathematics learning the addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers in improving student learning outcomes by using abacus media, the method used is classroom action research, research design using chemistry and mc. Design taggart which consists of four steps namely planning the implementation of observation and reflection which carried out two cycles, the subjects og this study were all students of class 1 MI AL-HUSNA Pasirnangka.the results of the study show that the use of abacus media can improve student learning outcomes MI Al-Husna Pasirnangka in terms of student activities in the learning process and learning outcomes this can be seen from the percentage of learning process activities and learning outcomes in cycle 1 that is 50%, then an increase in cycle II the percentage of learning process activities and learning outcomes in cycles II is 90%.

This research is a classroom action research which aims to describe the effectiveness of the mathematics learning model using the guided discovery learning model for class IX-F students of SMP Unggulan Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observating and reflecting. This study shows that learning using the guided discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes, the ability of teachers to manage learning, and student activities during learning. Based on these three aspects, it can be concluded that learning using the guided discovery learning model can increase effectiveness in learning

This study aims to describe the interests and learning outcomes of students by using picture media in learning theme 1 of subtheme 3 in class I SDIT Nurul Ikhlas Padang ". This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The instrument for data collection was obtained through observation of students' interest sheets, teacher observation sheets and learning achievement tests. The results of the study are the first through the use of media interest pictures and student learning outcomes have increased, which can be seen in the observation sheet that has been filled out by the observer teacher where in the first cycle the acquisition of student learning outcomes has increased namely the average value in the first cycle 57 with mastery learning 71% increased to 72.72 in the second cycle with 88% completeness. The conclusion of this research is that through media images can increase student interest and learning outcomes.

This research was a classroom action research (CAR) carried out to improve the learning process with the steps of planning, implement, observing, and reflecting. This research was carried out in mathematics by utilizing the media of crime tests on integer count material. The formulation of the problem in this research were: (1) Can the media of crime be able to improve mathematics learning outcomes in integer counts ?; (2) What are the learning outcomes of each cycle by utilizing the learning outcomes of students ?. The results of the study showed that the use of stikrim media in mathematics learning integer count material could improve student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle test were obtained by six students or 60% complete, and four students or 40% incomplete. Then the results of the second cycle test showed nine students or 91% complete and three students or 10% not complete. The increase occured in students who have reached 88% of students have completed and exceeds 75% indicators of success, and it is stated that the improvement of this learning has been successful.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui pendekatan problem solving. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII9 MTs Negeri 1 Makassar yang berjumlah 40 peserta didik. Tindakan yang diberikan adalah dengan menerapkan pendekatan problem solving. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan problem solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, terlihat pada siklus I skor rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 79,48 dan persentase peserta didik yang memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sebesar 65%, sementara pada siklus II skor rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat menjadi 89,40 serta persentase peserta didik yang memenuhi KKM meningkat menjadi 87,50 %. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar matematika peserta didik dapat meningkat melalui penerapan pendekatan problem solving. AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through a problem solving approach. The type of research used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, through several stages, namely planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 40 students of class VIII9 MTs Negeri 1 Makassar. The action given is to apply a problem solving approach. The results of this study indicate that problem solving approach can improve students' learning achievement, seen in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes is 79.48 and the percentage of students who meet the minimum completeness criteria is 65%, while in the second cycle the average score student learning outcomes increased to 89.40 and the percentage of students who met the minimum completeness criteria increased to 87.50%. Thus, students' mathematics learning achievement can be increased through the implementation of problem solving approach.

This Research told about the assumption what if these lessons are taught by professional teachers. In generally, the lessons of history will make students more eager, joyful and meaningful, so that the students know the significance of the history of the nation. The study used action research method during two cycles. The first cycle of research results from 27 states who attended the liveliness of the togetherness in the learning process in cycle 1 with an average value of 6.1 (enough), while in cycle 2 with an average value of 7.1 (good). Learning outcomes complete the first cycle yan 85.19%, while in the second cycle of the complete 96.15% .Ternyata after using the discussion an increase in activity and student learning outcomes. It shows that the lessons of history with discussion method will increase the activity and student learning outcomes in class XII IPS 3 SMAN 1 20011/20012 Tanjung school year.Key words: Activity, learning achievement, discuss method

In accordance with the demands of the development of technology and information teachers are required to innovate in learning, one of them teachers should master the various uses of media in learning. The problems examined in this study are how the activities of teachers and students in the use of media variations and whether the use of media variations in Civics material can improve student learning outcomes in class IV MIN Adan Beureunuen. This study aims to see the activities of teachers and students in using media variations on the Civics material to improve student learning outcomes in class IV MIN Adan Beureunuen. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a type of classroom action research (CAR). Data collection is done by observation and tests. Observations were made to see the use of variations in the media in the learning process, while the test to see student learning outcomes. Furthermore, all data is processed using a percentage formula. The results of the first cycle showed that there were still many shortcomings. Both in terms of the media, teachers, and student activities. So the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle under the KKM. So it continues in the next cycle. In cycle II shows that there are better changes in the media, teacher activities, and students. So that student learning outcomes increase. In the first cycle the teacher's activity reached 90% with a very good category, but in the second cycle it had increased to 96% with a very good category too. In the first cycle the activity of students reached 66% in the good category, but in the second cycle it had increased to 79% in the very good category. Likewise in cycle 1 learning outcomes 52% of students are complete and in cycle II it increases to 79% which is complete. This means that the use of media variations can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV MIN Adan Beureunuen.
