AbstractThis study aims to: (1) Describe the stages in the Dayak Maanyan traditional marriage in the city of Banjarmsasin (2) Describe the requirements in the Dayak Maanyan traditional marriage in the city of Banjarmasin, (3) Analyze the social values contained in each stage of Dayak Maanyan marriage in the city of Banjarmasin. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method with the number of respondents as many as 7 people, 3 key respondents and 4 people supporting respondents. Data collection using interview, observation, documentation and literature study techniques. Data analysis with data reduction, display and verification. The results of this study are: (1) The stages of the Dayak Maanyan customary marriage held in Banjarmasin city consist of the Ngantane/Itunti (introduction) stage, the Adu Pamupuh (engagement) stage, and the Piadu stage (fulfillment of customary law). The most interesting and sacred stage is the Piadu stage because at this time the two brides were officially inaugurated as husband and wife. (2) Requirements in Dayak Maanyan customary marriage in Banjarmasin city. Both the bridegroom and the bride must prepare the requirements of each stage in question. The most prepared requirements are at the Piadu stage, in which there are seven conditions that must be met, namely Tajau Tuak, Keagungan Mantir, Lanjung Ume Pintan Gantung, Eteh Kadiwai, Palangkahan, Tutup Uwan, and Sangku Dite Sangku Lungkung. (3) The Social Values contained in the Dayak Maanyan traditional marriage have at least 8 social values, namely the value of love and appreciation for tradition, the value of sincerity (seriousness) & courage, politeness, family values, values of loyalty, togetherness and mutual cooperation , the value of independence & responsibility, and the values that characterize the Dayak Maanyan, namely the value of kinship. The social values contained in the marriage of the Dayak Maanyan motivated the Dayak Maanyan ethnic population in the city of Banjarmasin to carry out faithfully and genuinely the traditions, especially the indigenous Dayak Maanyan marriage. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 7 orang, responden kunci 3 orang dan responden pendukung 4 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, display dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Tahapan perkawinan adat Dayak Maanyan yang dilaksanakan di kota Banjarmasin terdiri atas tahap Ngantane/Itunti (perkenalan), tahap Adu Pamupuh (pertunangan), dan tahap Piadu (pemenuhan hukum adat). Tahapan yang paling menarik perhatian dan sakral adalah tahap Piadu karena saat ini lah kedua mempelai diresmikan secara hukum adat sebagai suami istri. (2) Persyaratan dalam perkawinan adat Dayak Maanyan di kota Banjarmasin. Baik pihak mempelai laki-laki maupun perempuan harus menyiapkan persyaratan dari tiap tahapan dimaksud. Persyaratan yang paling banyak disiapkan adalah pada tahap Piadu, didalamnya terdapat tujuh syarat yang harus dipenuhi yaitu Tajau Tuak, Keagungan Mantir, Lanjung Ume Pintan Gantung, Eteh Kadiwai, Palangkahan, Tutup Uwan, dan Sangku Dite Sangku Lungkung. (3) Nilai-Nilai Sosial yang terkandung dalam perkawinan adat Dayak Maanyan sedikitnya ada 8 nilai sosial, yaitu nilai kecintaan dan penghargaan pada tradisi, nilai kesungguhan (keseriusan) & keberanian, nilai kesopanan, nilai kekeluargaan, nilai kesetiaan, nilai kebersamaan & gotong royong, nilai kemandirian & tanggung jawab, serta nilai yang menjadi ciri khas Dayak Maanyan yaitu nilai kekerabatan. Nilai-nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam perkawinan Dayak Maanyan ini memotivasi warga etnis Dayak Maanyan yang ada di kota Banjarmasin untuk melaksanakan dengan setia dan sungguh-sungguh tradisi, khususnya perkawinan adat Dayak Maanyan.Kata kunci: Nilai Sosial , Perkawinan Adat, dan Dayak  Maanyan

Research on the existence of socio-cultural value a'dengkapada in the marriage event Kelara people Jeneponto Regency. This study aims to determine the existence and cultural values a'dengkapada in the marriage. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection is used by observation, in-depth interview, documentation technique from result of photo and archives of local government. The results showed that, the existence of A'dengkap culture in marriage event still survive until now in Kelara society of Jeneponto Regency. The social values contained in the A'dengkapada culture are (1) As a tradition passed down from generation to generation, (2) Gratitude to the creator after the rice harvest and as a plea to be given safety in marriage and appeal (3) Entertainment for families and relatives in the afternoon (4) distant family gatherings (5) containers improve mutual cooperation and togetherness among families and relatives before carrying out the A'dengkapada event.Keywords: Existence, Social Value, Culture, A'dengkapada

<p><em>This paper seeks to investigate the position of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) in Pancasila and its relevance as peace education in social studies learning. This paper is an effort as well as an offer to build an inclusive culture in order to solve the problems of bullying and intolerance in education. This paper used qualitative method with literature study approach by analyzing literatures related to the research corpus, i.e. Pancasila, mutual cooperation, peace education, and social studies learning. The results showed that mutual cooperation as the </em><em>core principle</em><em> of Pancasila is a treasure of Indonesian culture which is closely related to the substance of divine values, deliberation and consensus, kinship, justice and tolerance (humanitarianism). These values have strategic values to be conveyed in the social studies learning process in the classroom in order to foster a culture of peace for students.</em></p>

Uma Lengge building is traditional building in Bima District West Nusa Tenggara which functions as the residence of Mbojo tribe and place to store food. The study aims to analyze the characteristics and relation of Uma Lengge buildings with the social and cultural life of Maria Village. The approach used in this study is archaeological approach with qualitative descriptive method. The study began with collecting data through literature study, direct observation, and interviews. The trapezoidal part of the roof with legs, has two pieces of crossing each other at each end of the ridge with bamboo material. The door leads to Mecca. The front part of the house may not be faced with another houses. Uma Lengge has three main parts such as the foundation, the first floor and second floors. The building of Uma Lengge has links with social values such as the value of mutual cooperation, value of hospitality, value of deliberation, value of helping and cultural values in Ampa Fare ceremony and inter dowry ceremony. Bangunan Uma Lengge merupakan bangunan tradisional di Kabupaten Bima Nusa Tenggara Barat. Bangunan ini berfungsi untuk tempat tinggal masyarakat suku Mbojo sekaligus tempat menyimpan bahan makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik serta keterkaitan bangunan Uma Lengge terhadap kehidupan sosial dan kebudayaan masyarakat Desa Maria. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan arkeologi dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, pengamatan secara langsung di lapangan, melakukan wawancara untuk data penelitian melalui informan. Diperoleh data pada bagian atap bangunan berbentuk trapesium sama kaki serta memiliki dua buah wanga yang saling menyilang pada setiap ujung bubungan atap dengan bahan bambu. Bagian pintu bangunan arah hadap mengarah ke Mekah, bagian depan bangunan tidak boleh berhadapan dengan bagian depan bangunan di sekitar tetapi bertolak belakang terhadap bangunan lainnya. Bangunan Uma Lengge memiliki tiga bagian utama seperti bagian pondasi, lantai satu dan lantai dua sekaligus atap. Bangunan Uma Lengge memiliki keterkaitan dengan nilai sosial kehidupan masyarakat Maria seperti; nilai gotong royong; nilai silahturrahmi; nilai musyawarah; nilai tolong menolong dan keterkaitan pada nilai kebudayaan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Maria seperti; upacara Ampa Fare dan upacara mengantar mahar.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui implemetasi kebijakan penataan indekos atau rumah kontrakan di Kota Sukabumi, serta faktor-faktor yang mempegaruhinya. Peneliti menggunakan teori implementasi kebijakan publik menurut van Metter & van Horn. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Implementasi kebijakan penataan indekos atau rumah kontrakan di Kota Sukabumi sudah berjalan dengan baik jika dilihat dari sisi sumber daya, karakteristik agen pelaksana, dan kecenderungan/disposisi para pelaksana. Namun dari sisi ukuran dan tujuan kebijakan, komunikasi antar organisasi dan aktivitas pelaksana serta lingkungan ekonomi, sosial dan politik belum berjalan dengan baik. Hal tersebutlah yang menghambat keberhasilan dari pelaksanaan implementasi kebijakan tentang penataan indekos atau rumah kontrakan di Kota Sukabumi.AbstractThe research aims to determine the implementation of the policy for structuring boarding houses or rented houses in Sukabumi City, as well as the factors that influence it. Researchers use the theory of public policy implementation according to van Metter & van Horn. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interview, documentation, and literature study techniques. The implementationof the structuring policy for boarding houses or rented houses in Sukabumi City has been running well when viewed in terms of resources, characteristics of implementing agencies, and propensity/dispositions of the implementers. However, in terms of size and policy objectives, communication between organizations and implementing activities as well as the economic, social and political environment has not gone well. This is what hinders the success of the implementation of the policy on structuring boarding houses or rented houses in the City of Sukabumi.

The Bayan villagers are known as the Bayan Indigenous Peoples, where in their lives, they always apply customary law rules without abandoning state and religious law, one of which is related to marriage. This study aims to determine and analyze the existence of customary law in the aspects of the social and cultural life of the Bayan Village community and what factors are supporting and inhibiting the existence of customary law in the socio-cultural aspect of the Bayan Village community. The approach used is a qualitative approach with an empirical sociology method. The sampling technique is the Purposive Sampling technique. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data sources. To collect research data observation, interview, documentation and literature study techniques are used. Furthermore, the data that has been obtained from the field are analyzed by comparison, then analyzed to draw generalizations or conclusions. This research concludes that up to now the Bayan community has always carried out traditional marriages with a marriage system called Mulang, which in the process began with the Mulang implementation, which at the peak of the event was carried out by the Customary Marriage tradition. This proves that until now the existence of customary law in the socio-cultural life of the community is still strong. The factors that support the existence of customary law in life are: 1) The concept of life of the Bayan community, 2) The existence of Bayan adat institutions in overseeing Bayan customary law, and 3) The strict sanctions of customary law that apply to Bayan villagers. Furthermore, in general fatktor that impedes it is the desire of local people to change their living systems and the lack of Bayan young people who respect the value of customs.

  Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dalam kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Bangka Belitung kepada pembaca agar dijadikan rujukan dan mengenalkan kembali cerita rakyat di masa modern ini kepada pembaca. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai sosial apa saja yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat Bangka Belitung? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat Bangka Belitung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara utuh dan mendalam tentang realitas sosial dan berbagai fenomena yang terjadi dimasyarakat yang menjadi subjek penelitian sehingga tergambarkan ciri, karakter, sifat, dan model dari fenomena tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis karya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Nilai kasih sayang yang terdiri dari: pengabdian, tolong menolong, kekeluargaan, kesetiaan, dan kepedulian. 2) Nilai tanggung jawab yang terdiri dari:rasa memiliki, disiplin, dan empati. 3) Nilai keserasian hidup yang terdiri dari: keadilan, toleransi, kerja sama, dan demokrasi. Buku Cerita Rakyat Bangka Belitung karya Maulana Syamsuri sangat baik untuk dibaca bagi masyarakat, karena di dalam buku ini banyak mengajarkan nilai-nilai sosial yang baik untuk dijadikan contoh.   Kata kunci : nilai sosial, cerita rakyat Abstract The background of this research is to provide an understanding of social values that are in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung to the reader in order to be used as a reference and reintroduced the folklore in modern times is to the reader. Problems in the research of social values is what is contained in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung? This research aims to know and describe the social values that are contained in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung. The methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative method is a method of research that aims to describe completely and insightful about the social reality and the various phenomena that occurred dimasyarakat which became the subject of the research so that breakfast buffet characteristics, character, nature, and the model of the phenomenon. The approach used is the approach to the sociology of literature, while data analysis techniques using analytical techniques paper. The results of this study are as follows. 1) value of affectionate Devotion: (1), (2) Please help, (3), (4) familial loyalty, and (5) concern. 2) value of responsibility: (1) a sense of belonging, (2) discipline, and (3) empathy. 3) the value of the harmony of life: (1) justice, (2) (3) tolerance, cooperation, and (4) democracy. The book Folktales of Bangka Belitung works of Maulana Syamsuri very good to read for people, because in this book many teach social values are good to be used as an example.

AbstrakTari Gatholoco adalah tari kelompok berjenis tradisi rakyat dalam sebuah kelompok seni di Desa Kembangsari. Tari Gatholoco belum diketahui siapa penciptanya dan digarap oleh Badrun tahun 1965 kemudian digarap oleh Tono tahun 1980. Tari Gatholoco menarik karena pola lantai membentuk formasi huruf (terbalik dari arah depan) yang menyusun sebuah kata Temanggung. Juga terdapat gerak penghubung antar gerak satu ke gerak berikutnya dan gerak penghubung untuk perpindahan pola lantai dengan senggakan “sukseskan pembangunan”. Tari Gatholoco memiliki fungsi sosial dalam masyarakat Desa Kembangsari. Penelitian ini menggunakan landasan teori bentuk oleh Suzanne K. Langer dan Sri Rochana Widyastutieningrum dan teori fungsi oleh Raymond Firth. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, merupakan metode penelitian yang menekankan pada telaah mendalam suatu fenomena yang terjadi dengan melakukan wawancara, dokumentasi, pengamatan langsung, pengamatan tidak langsung, dan studi pustaka. Presentasi yang disajikan berupa data dan visual. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diperoleh gambaran yang berkaitan dengan bentuk sajian dan fungsi sosial tari Gatholoco yang hingga kini masih hidup dan berkembang di kalangan masyarakat Desa Kembangsari. Bentuk sajian tari Gatholoco terdapat gerak yang menggambarkan aktivitas masyarakat sehari hari. Fungsi sosial tari Gatholoco yaitu sebagai sarana kepuasan batin, sarana bersantai dan hiburan, sarana ungkapan jati diri, sarana integratif dan pemersatu, dan sarana pendidikan amat positif di kehidupan masyarakat Desa Kembangsari.Kata kunci: Gatholoco, Bentuk, FungsiAbstractGatholoco Dance is a group dance of the folk-type tradition in an art group in Kembangsari Village. Not yet known who the creator of Gatholoco dance it was cultivated by Badrun in 1965 then tilled by Tono in 1980. Gatholoco dance is very interesting, because pattern floor as like alfabet (upside down from the front) which composes the word means like Temanggung. That dance also relational between one of the movement to the next movement, and then the relational connecting the other movement of the pattern floor it is mean that “successful development”. Gatholoco dance has a sociocultural function in the Kembangsari Village. This research uses the foundation of form theory by Suzanne K. Langer and Sri Rochana Widyastutieningrum and function theory by Raymond Firth. This research uses qualitative method, is a research method that emphasizes in depth study of a phenomenon that occurs by conducting interviews, documentation, direct observation, indirect observation, and literature study. Presentation is presented in the form of data and visual. The results of this study can be obtained a picture relating to the form of course and social function of Gatholoco dance which until now is still alive and growing among the people of Kembangsari Village. There is a movement that describes the daily activities of society in the form of Gatholoco dance course. The social function of Gatholoco dance is as a mean of inner satisfaction, means of relaxation and entertainment, means of expression of identity, integrative means and unifier, means of educational, means of healing, symbolic means of meaning and power, and means of integration in chaotic times are very positive in the life of the community of Kembangsari Village.Keywords: Gatholoco, Form, Function.

This research focused on the types of social values reflected in Ananta Toer’s novel entitled Bumi Manusia. This novel successfully describes not only the cultural revolution in a colonized country but also an objection against the absolute supremacy of cultural and social values. The research was aimed at revealing the kinds of social values in the novel. The data were in the forms of sentences, paragraphs and dialogues referring to social values such as positive and negative social values. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with content analysis technique that is by analyzing the letters, words, sentences and verses that can explain some social values in this novel. Based on the research finding and discussion, as well as the theory of social values proposed by Notonegoro (2014), the social values are divided into Value of truth, Aesthetic value, Moral value and Religious value. The results show that there are four types of social value in the novel, i.e. Value of truth (Justice), Aesthetic value (love), Moral value (encouraging kinship and politeness) and Religious value (patience and faith).

Abstrak Media pembelajaran matematika secara kontekstual dikaitkan dengan kehidupan siswa sehari-hari sehingga akan mempermudah memahami karena siswa mengetahui secara jelas penerapannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan hubungan konsep matematis dalam kesenian tari jaipong yang dapat dijadikan topik bahasan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dan mendeskripsikan konstruksi konsep-konsep matematis yang ditemukan ke dalam matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat dua unsur dalam tari jaipong yang dapat diterapkan konsep matematis, yaitu gerakan penari dan alat-alat musik pengiring tari jaipong berupa seperangkat gamelan. Implikasi penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa teori belajar yang mendukung penelitian ini adalah teori belajar konstruktisme sosial. Kata Kunci Eksplorasi, etnomatematika, tari jaipong   Abstract Mathematics learning media is contextually linked to students’ daily lives so that it will make it easier to understand because students know clearly its application. The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between mathematical concepts in jaipong dance which can be used as a topic of discussion in mathematics learning activities and to describe the construction of mathematical concepts found in mathematics. This research uses a qualitative method of literature study. Based on the data analysis, the research result shows that there are two elements in the jaipong dance that can be applied mathematical concepts, namely the dancer movement and musical instruments that accompany the jaipong dance in the form of a set of gamelan. The implication of this research is also finding that the learning theory that supports this research is the social constructivism learning theory. <p><em>This study is titled the method of planting social value in santri at the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School RW 02, Sidorejo sub-district, Salatiga city in 2018. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with 45 research subjects as kyai and santri. Data was collected by observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the method of planting social values used was the Sorogan and Bandongan methods. The embedded social values include discipline, empathy, respect, caring, and tolerance.
