The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the use of directive speech acts carried out by teachers in learning Mathematics and Physics, with the data source coming from class X IPA of Senior Hight School Negeri 1 Limau. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection is carried out by means of observation / observation, interviews, recording and recording. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis from the beginning to the end of the study. Data analysis was carried out during data collection and after data collection. The research findings contained thirty two data that were spread into three types of directive speech acts in the command category, giving advice and asking categories. There are research results that teachers who can make effective directive speech acts, are able to foster character for students.

The Purpose of this study is to describe the use of directive speech acts of prohibition in the Spirited Away movie which are based on the pattern of prohibitions in Japanese. It also aims to find out the factors that influence the prohibition of speech based on the context of the conversation and categorized them into direct or indirect speech. The data of this research were taken from the utterance of the characters containing the directive speech acts of prohibition. The use of prohibition directive speech acts is analyzed based on the prohibition pattern in Japanese in accordance with the theory of Namatame. This type of research uses the qualitative descriptive research method with a pragmatic approach. From the results of data analysis it was found that the use of illocutionary speech forms directly prohibits,which are: the patterns of  ~ V ru na, ~ te wa ikenai, ~ naide, ~ dame, and ~ janai. Ilocutionary forms are directly used by people who have strong authority over their partners. With his authority the speaker does not need to use indirect speech which usually emphasizes modesty.

The purpose of this study is to describe women's empowerment in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency. This type of research is descriptive, aiming to describe women's empowerment in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency. Respondents in this study were pre-prosperous families in Beran Village, Ngawi Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, amounting to 57 people. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The research findings show that: (1) The level of welfare in the empowerment of women in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi District is categorized as good; (2) The level of access to women's empowerment in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi District is categorized as good; (3) The level of connectivity in empowering women in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency is categorized as good; (4) The level of participation in empowering women in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency is categorized as good; (5) The level of equality of power in empowering women in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency can be categorized as good; and (6) Empowering women in increasing family income in Beran Village, Ngawi District, Ngawi Regency can be categorized as good. Keywords—: women's empowerment; family income.

Each language has a modality to express the speaker's attitude. The form that describes the attitude of the speaker is in the form of grammatical elements and there are also lexical elements. In French, the lexical attitude of the speaker can be characterized by capital verbs such as vouloir, devoir, pouvoir and falloir. This paper discusses the modalities in directive speech acts in its use in French in French-language comics namely Michel Vaillante. This article aims to find out the function of using modal modal verb modalities realized by Michel Vaillante comics. Data is collected from Michel Vaillante comics downloaded from the online version of the Culturethèque website. Data collection was done using the 'see' method, then analyzed using the agih method with the basic technique 'for direct elements'. The last step is the method of presenting data. The author uses formal and informal methods in presenting the results of data analysis. The results show that the function of the French modal modal verb in directive speech acts expresses the meaning of governing, suggesting, and expressing hope. The capital verbs used are devoir, pouvoir, vouloir, and falloir.Keywords: modalities, French, capital verbs, directive speech acts.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis praanggapan yang terdapat dalam tindak tutur tayangan Bocah Ngapa(k) Ya di TRANS 7. Bocah Ngapa(k) Ya merupakan tayangan televisi bergenre komedi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membahas tindak tutur dalam tayangan Bocah Ngapa(k) Ya kemudian menganalisis pranggapan yang terdapat dalam tindak tutur tayangan tersebut. Sampel data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak empat episode. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan Tindak Tutur Ekspresif yang mengandung Praanggapan Leksikal, Tindak Tutur Representatif yang mengandung Praanggapan Konterfaktual, Tindak Tutur Direktif yang mengandung Praanggapan Nonfaktual, Tindak Tutur Representatif yang mengandung Praanggapan Leksikal dan Eksistensial, Tindak Tutur Representatif yang mengandung Praanggapan Faktual, dan Tindak Tutur Representatif yang mengandung Praanggapan Leksikal.Kata kunci: tindak tutur, praanggapan, tayangan televisi.  AbstractThis study aims to describe the types of presuppositions contained in the speech act of Bocah Ngapa(k) Ya in TRANS 7. Bocah Ngapa(k) Ya is a comedy genre television show. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive analysis. Collecting data in this study using a note-taking technique. Data analysis was carried out by discussing the speech acts in the show Bocah Ngapa(k) Yes and then analyzing the presuppositions contained in the speech acts of the show. The sample data used in this study were four episodes. Based on the research results, it was found that expressive speech acts contain lexical presuppositions, representative speech acts contain counterfactual presuppositions, directive speech acts contain non-factual presuppositions, representative speech acts contain lexical and existential presuppositions, representative speech acts contain factual presuppositions, and representative speech acts contain factual presuppositions. The purpose of this study is to find and describe (1) the use of Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang songs of the 1960-1970 period, (2) the use of the Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang songs period of 1970-1980, (3) the use of the Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 1980-1990, (4) the use of Mandar ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 1990-2000, (5) the use of the Mandar ethnic value in the Passayang-Sayang song period of 2000-2010, and (6 ) the use of the Mandar ethnic value in the song of the Passayang-Sayang period 2010-Present. The theory used in this research is the theory of literary geography put forward by Herder, Stael, and Ricardson. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data are in the form of Passayang-Sayang Mandar poetry texts, informant statements, and facts in the field. Data collection activities carried out by observation and observation techniques, interviews, recording, recording, and documentation. In this study the researcher acted as a key instrument guided by data collection guidelines. Data analysis procedures use the spiral model, while data analysis uses objective hermeneutics. To avoid research bias, triangulation was carried out for each stage of the study, research tools, and clarification of research findings to the informants as poet owners, Focus Group Discussions, and external audits. The findings of this study are the development of ethnic values in the Passayang-Sayang Mandar poem in the form of (16) ethnic values found in the period 1960-1970, (5) ethnic values found in the period 1970-1980, (7) ethnic values found in the 1980 period -1990, (6) ethnic values were found in the period 1990-2000, (7) ethnic values were found in the period 2000-2010, (8) ethnic values were found in the period 2010-Now.

This research aims at knowing: (1) the realization of politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts of students, (2) deviations on politeness principles of students’ directive speech acts, and (3) the determining factors to the politeness and non-politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts for the Tenth Grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Mataram in the process of learning in the classroom. Research subjects in this study were the teachers who taught Indonesian, English, Economics, History, Mathematics, Religion, Civics, and Natural Sciences (IPA), and all students who are in class X of IPS 2, IPA 1 and IPA 3 in SMA Negeri 1 Mataram. This research belongs to qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected using observation method. The results of this study showed that: (1) there is the emergence of speech acts of the verbal and non-verbal directive of the students in the learning process, such as directive speech acts of rebuking, commanding, banning, advising, asking, reminding, satirizing, suggesting, threatening, rebuking, and (2) there is deviation of the principle of politeness of directive speech acts that is deviation of principle of one maxim, two maxim, and deviation of three maxim, and (3) there are influencing factors for the politeness and non-politeness of verbal and non-verbal directive speech acts of students in the learning process , including linguistic and non-linguistic factors.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the realization of capital expenditure budget in the Trade and Industry Board of Musi Banyuasin. It has been reached the goal budget target in the government of Musi Banyuasin Regency. The methods of research used are qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used are interview research, documentation, and library studies. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis methods and the use of capital expenditure budget data and the realization of capital spending in 2016 to 2018. The results showed that The Trade and Industry Board of Musi Banyuasin Regency in realization of the capital expenditure budget in the year 2016 to 2018 can be said to be effective and in positive growth. In 2016 to the year of 2018, The Trade and Industry Board of Musi Banyuasin Regency is still dependent on local government so that the implementation decentralization of capital expenditure budget can be said to be effective.

This research examines and discovers the variation and formation of slang in the street food court (angkringan) of the Perpek community, Ponorogo Regency, which is indicated by a variant of the slang language. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of words from languages that contain slang forms and are spoken by sellers and buyers. Data collection uses observation techniques supported by note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is the equivalent method and the method of religion. The findings of this research are four processes of the formation of slang language in terms of the formation of phonological structures, namely: (1) reversing the overall arrangement of letters, for example "mahal" to "laham", (2) giving an insert at the beginning and at the end both vowels and consonants, for example "kopi" becomes "ngikop", (3) exchanges consonants and replaces one or two letters, for example "sedikit" becomes "sikit", and (4) words are shortened or cut without changing their meanings, for example "mama cantik" to be "macan". The results of the research findings indicate the formation of new slang languages that are different from the original languages, both from Indonesian and regional languages (Javanese). Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menemukan variasi dan pembentukan bahasa slang di angkringan komunitas Perpek, Kabupaten Ponorogo, yang terindikasi ditemuakan varian bahasa slang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa kata dari bahasa yang mengandung bentuk bahasa slang dan dituturkan oleh penjual dan pembeli. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi yang didukung dengan teknik simak-libat-catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan dan metode agih. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh temuan berupa empat proses pembentukan variasi bahasa slang dari segi pembentukan struktur fonologis, yaitu: (1) membalikkan susunan huruf secara keseluruhan, misal "mahal" menjadi "laham", (2) memberikan sisipan di awal dan di akhir kata, baik vokal maupun konsonan, misal "kopi" menjadi "ngikop", (3) menukar konsonan dan mengganti satu atau dua huruf,  misal "sedikit" menjadi "sikit", dan (4) kata dipendekkan atau dipotong tanpa mengubah maknanya, misal "mama cantik" menjadi "macan". Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya pembentukan bahasa slang baru yang berbeda dari bahasa aslinya, baik dari bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa daerah (bahasa Jawa).

AbstractThis study aims to describe forms, functions, and strategies in autistic children’sdirective speech acts. The data were from the recording of dialogs performed in anautism-specific school and an inclusive school in Malang City. They were collectedthrough observations and recording. The data collection and analysis were interactively,simultaneously, and iteratively done to deeply and wholly understand forms, functions,and strategies in autistic children’s directive speech acts. The results of the study areas follows. First, the forms include requests, commands, and prohibitions. Second, thefunctions comprise those of requesting, commanding, and prohibiting. Third, the strategiesconsist of a direct strategy and an indirect strategy.

An increasing number of elderly in Japan and Indonesia, especially Bali, has led to increased health needs to care for them in nursing homes. Health workers, such as caregivers, are the closest people to communicate directly with the elderly. Communication can be called interpersonal communication which is a process of direct information or transfer of understanding of two or more people. Good interpersonal communication will build closeness and intimacy in the process of delivering messages. Therefore this study tried to analyze the experience of caregivers in implementing interpersonal communication and also determine the form of directive speech acts used by caregivers in caring for the elderly in nursing homes. The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive method by phenomenological approach. The results showed that interpersonal communication applied by caregivers in caring for the elderly provided verbal and non verbal interpersonal communication. In addition, in the communication process of caregive-elderly is also formed directive speech act including prohibitions, requests and questions. In conclusion, caregivers need to have the ability to communicate effectively with elderly.
