<p>Students of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta mostly students from families with lower<br />economic level. Most students of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta not yet have adequate facilities for the needs of their schools at home, for example a computer or netbook, books that support learning in schools, and other school supplies. Existing facilities at the school became one of the alternatives that can help students to improve students’ quality of human resources. Library SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta has the facilities and infrastructure that can help the students to follow the teaching and learning process in schools. Concern antarsiswa and concerns of the student teachers are needed in the environment of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta because a lot of students that should be<br />redirected in order to achieve future aspired. Library SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta also constantly improve the quality of services that the students and teachers as library members feel comfortable using the library of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta. Quality culture serves in the library of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta realized by improving the quality of services to library patrons, for example the use of an application library to replace the use of the manual on the process of borrowing and returning books as well as data members of the library, so as to realize the school a fun and students can enjoy the learning process, feel comfortable in the environment of SMP Negeri 13 Surakarta,especially if students are in the library.</p><p>Keywords: libraries, care, quality</p>

describe the implementation of an integrated quality management component consisting of the quality of services provided by the school, human resources in teaching, the school environment, and learning process  in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang.               The method used in this study, namely by using a naturalistic qualitative approach. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study include the principal, teachers, employees, and students. The validity of the data is done by triangulation, and deeper observation. Analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.              The results showed that: (a) the quality of services to students in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang had met good service standards. This can be seen from the services in the form of facilities and infrastructure which are quite complete in schools; (b) the quality of human resources in the education process shows good teacher resources. This can be seen from the teacher data which shows that the teaching staff at SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% of educators with S1 qualifications in the field of education; (c) the quality of the environment in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang is already good. This can be seen from the very strategic location of the school because the location of the school is in the middle of the city so that it is easily accessible by the community; (d) the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers at Pangkal Pinang YPAC SLB is good. This can be seen from the realization of the form of activities through learning planning by preparing lesson plans for each subject, then implementing learning, which includes strategies and methods used by teachers in delivering learning material, and evaluation of learning. Keywords: Integrated quality management, student achievement     ABSTRAK Tujuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini  adalah untuk melihat pelaksanaan serta mendeskripsikan implementasi  komponen Manajemen Mutu Terpadu yang terdiri dari kualitas layanan yang diberikan sekolah, sumber daya manusia dalam mengajar, lingkungan sekolah, dan proses pembelajaran di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini antara lain kepala sekolah, guru, pegawai, dan peserta didik. keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, dan pengamatan yang lebih mendalam. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) mutu layanan terhadap peserta didik di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah memenuhi standar layanan yang baik. Hal ini dilihat dari layanan yang berupa fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang sudah cukup lengkap di sekolah; (b) mutu sumber daya manusia dalam proses pendidikan menunjukkan sumber daya guru yang baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data guru yang menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pengajar di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% pendidik berkualifikasi S1 bidang kependidikan; (c) mutu lingkungan yang ada di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari letak sekolah yang sangat strategis karena lokasi sekolah yang berada di tengah kota sehingga mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat; (d) mutu proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari realisasi bentuk kegiatan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menyusun RPP setiap mata pelajaran, kemudian pelaksanaan pembelajaran, yang meliputi strategi dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

Pada zaman era globalisasi lembaga pendidikan Islam harus lebih menekankan pada kualitas sumber daya manusianya karena guru adalah salah satu komponen utama bagi keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Mutu sekolah, khususnya mutu anak didik, mau tak mau berkaitan dengan mutu guru-gurunya yang langsung terlibat  dengan anak didik di kelas. Namun, pada kenyataannya, terdapat banyak keluhkan tentang kualitas guru khususnya di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi yang komprehensif bagi guru menjadi tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas, profesional, berkomitmen serta memiliki semangat ibadah. Penelitian ini fokus mengkaji strategi pengembangan mutu guru MAN 3 Jember. Kajian penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif fenomenologis terhadap studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa untuk mengembangkan kualitas guru, para pimpinan MAN 3 Jember perlu (1) untuk membuat, menyusun, dan merumuskan visi, misi, dan tujuan lembaga khususnya pengembangan mutu guru; (2) untuk membangun komitmen yang bernilai ibadah; (3) untuk membangun sikap dan kedisiplinan; (4) untuk merubah pola pikir dan untuk membangun karakter positif guru. Kata kunci: Lembaga pendidikan Islam, kualitas guru, proses belajar dan pengajaran, MAN 3 Jember   In the era of globalization, Islamic educational institutions have to emphasize the quality of their human resources. The teacher is one of the main characters for the success of the teaching and learning process. The quality of schools, especially the students quality, is inevitably related to the teachers concerned the students in the classroom. However, in reality, there are many complaints about teacher quality, especially in Islamic educational institutions. Therefore, it is necessary to have a comprehensive strategy for teachers to become qualified, professional, committed educators who have the spirit of worship. This study focuses on the assessment of teacher quality development strategies in MAN 3 Jember. This study uses a phenomenological perspective on a case study. As a result, for developing teacher quality in MAN 3 Jember is (1) compiling, compiling, and formulating the vision, mission, and objectives of the institution, to realize teacher quality; (2) building a commitment that has worship values; (3) building attitude and discipline; (4) changing the mindset also building the positive character of the teacher. <p>This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete <br />picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent. </p><p> </p>

This article describes the administration of special services. The teaching and learning process requires the support of facilities that are not directly used in the classroom. Facilities that do not directly include school libraries, school cooperatives, school health businesses and school cafeterias. Management of special services in schools is effective and efficient School Based Management (SBM). School is one of the facilities that can be used to improve the quality of Indonesia's population. Schools not only have responsibilities and duties to carry out the learning process in developing science and technology, but must maintain and improve students' physical and spiritual health.Special service management in schools is basically defined and organized to facilitate or facilitate learning, and can meet the special needs of students at school. Special services are provided in schools with a view to facilitating the implementation of teaching in the context of achieving educational goals in schools. Special services include guidance and counseling, libraries, laboratories, school health efforts (uks), canteens, school cooperatives, and transportation.

Abstractlearning process  good teaching  can create a situation that allows children to learn, so that is the starting point of the success of teaching. The low quality of education depends on the management of the teaching and learning process which can be interpreted as being less effective in the teaching and learning process, the causes: (1) Low learning activities, (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The case in Solok City Middle School, the low level of student learning activities allegedly influenced the low student learning outcomes. Based on observations on class VIII A which included the superior class had not yet achieved the desired completeness, the class with the least completeness was class VIII B which was 33.33% with KKM 65 criteria. Seeing this reality, teachers were required to motivate students and foster enthusiasm student learning. Therefore, to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, the author tries to apply student learning activities through discussion methods in small groups.Keywords: Learning, discussion AbstrakProses belajar mengajar yang baik dapat menciptakan situasi yang mmemungkinkan anak belajar, sehingga merupakan titik awal keberhasilan pengajaran. Rendahnya mutu pendidikan tergantung pada pengelolaan proses belajar mengajar yang dapat diartikan kurang efektifnya proses belajar mengajar, penyebabnya: (1) Rendahnya aktifitas belajar,  (2) Sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Kasus pada SMP Negeri % Kota Solok rendahnya aktifitas belajar siswa diduga berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan pengamatanpada  kelas VIII A yang termasuk kelas unggul belum mencapai ketuntasan yang di inginkan, sedangkan kelas yang paling sedikit ketuntasannya adalah kelas VIII B yaitu sebanyak 33,33 % dengan kriterian KKM 65. Melihat kenyataan tersebut, guru dituntut untuk dapat memotivasi siswa dan menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa. Karena itu, untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa, penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui metode diskusi dalam kelompok kecil. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, diskusi

<p><strong><em>Abstract<br /></em></strong><em>Laboratory is one of the supporting facilities in im[roving the learning process. Problems found by students regarding the information system laboratory facilities at STMIK Indonesia Padang are</em><em> the computers that suddenly die when operated, the less cold room, display data is blurred, making the inconvenience in the learning process that causes the students less satisfied with the services provided. Students will feel satisfied if the service is expected to match the received. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to analyze the quality of services provided to the students so that it can support the role and function of the laboratory optimally and what attributes need to be improved the quality of service. The method used is Fuzzy Service Quality (Servqual) method. The results showed that the service quality received was not in accordance with the expected because there is a gap of -1.55 for tangibles dimension. Attributes that need to be improved the quality of services are laboratory space is cool and comfortable, the use of laboratories relevant to the field of science, the responsibility of laboratory assistant, the availability of professional teachers and attitudes and behavior of labor officers.<br /></em></p><p><strong><em>Abstrak<br /></em></strong>Laboratorium merupakan salah satu fasilitas pendukung dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang ditemukan mahasiswa mengenai fasilitas laboratorium sistem informasi pada STMIK Indonesia Padang adalah komputer yang tiba-tiba mati saat dioperasikan, ruangan yang kurang dingin, data <em>display</em> yang buram sehingga membuat ketidaknyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan mahasiswa kurang puas terhadap layanan yang diberikan. Mahasiswa akan merasa puas apabila layanan yang diharapkan sesuai dengan yang diterima. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa sehingga dapat mendukung peran dan fungsi laboratorium secara optimal serta atribut apa saja yang perlu ditingkatkan kualitas layanannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode <em>Fuzzy Service Quality </em>(<em>Servqua</em>l). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan yang diterima belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan karena terdapat <em>gap</em> sebesar -1.55 untuk dimensi <em>tangibles</em>. Atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan kualitas layanannya yaitu ruangan laboratorium yang sejuk dan nyaman, penggunaan laboratorium yang relevan dengan bidang ilmu, tanggungjawab asisten labor, tersedianya tenaga pengajar yang professional dan sikap serta perilaku petugas labor</p><p><strong><em>Kata kunci</em></strong><strong> : sistem pendukung keputusan, laboratorium, <em>fuzzy</em>, <em>servqual</em></strong></p><p><strong><em><br /></em></strong></p>

In the era of education information and globalization, a new mode of teaching and micro class has emerged in the background of the Internet, which brings new challenges and opportunities to the teaching of the classroom. MOOCs has been piloted and applied in many universities in the form of SPOC. As a new form of curriculum, micro course has been applied to the teaching and learning process. The integration of Moor and micro class resources helps to turn the classroom into a mixed mode. This article will focus on this hot topic to analyse the characteristics of the class, the characteristics of the micro class and the influence on the students and teachers, to improve the quality of teaching and to realize the individualized and active study of the students. The article summarizes the results of blended teaching mode at home and abroad, and explores the development and application of MOOC and micro class resources.

The issue of information management is crucial for any academic institution. Convenient access to requested content is creating a competitive advantage for different types of decisions. Information management process in Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) often create problems because there is no systematic way of storage management. IPG lecturers stored their teaching materials in different kind of methods. This situation cause in a loss of resources, difficult to retrieve and also cannot be identified when it's needed. Dealing with large volumes of resources it is essential to use technological solutions that enable flexible storage, retrieval, processing and interpreting information. To solve the problems, this article introduced a framework that use single platform and named as Information Sharing for Learning (IS4L) for managing teaching and learning resources in IPG. The resources will be stored and can be accessed at any time. The framework also applied the technique of gamification to motivate and encourage users to use the application and consequently will increase the volume of resources stored. The developed application based on the proposed framework could help to motivate and engage peoples to share their resources and enhance quality of services in IPG. Finally it could assist to improve the performance and effectiveness of services to achieve users’ satisfaction.

Based on the necessary with the teacher, it is concluded that teachers need information technology (IT) based on learning media in the teaching and learning process. The main purpose of this study is to know about the research procedure, to know about the quality of the media that developed, and the expert's respond. This study is a Research and Development (R&D). The on  procedure of the procedure uses 9 steps, including 1)Potentials and problems, 2)Data collection, 3)Product design, 4)Design validation, 5)Design revision, 6)Product try-out, 7)Product revision, 8)Application try-out, 9)Product revision until the desired products interactive powerpoint learning media are complete. The result of the study showed that the media were appropriate to be implemented. This showed from media experts of the validation result that average score 3,34 with a very good category. Material expert student's that average score 3,40 with very good category and from linguists expert result that average score 3,22 with the good category. Next, the average validation score of the teacher is 3,62 with a very good category and peers of the validation result that average score 3,44 with a very good category. The last response of the students in applications try-out responses that average score 92,75 with a very good category.
