<em>Guidance and counseling is an inseparable part of the education system. Likewise at Kaliwungu Elementary School which has implemented the Guidance and Counseling program. The Guidance and Counseling Program is implemented to direct and overcome problems experienced by students, both in academic and non-academic fields. These problems include lazy and slow in learning, undisciplined, fight, and so forth. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of guidance and counseling programs at  Kaliwungu elementary school. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive study with interview and observation technique. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the guidance and counseling program at Kaliwungu elementary school is carried out by the class teacher. The form of guidance given is individual guidance and group guidance. Individual counseling is an ecletive counseling by the teacher advising and directing students according to the problem. Group guidance in the form of remedial teaching and home room program</em>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menyelidiki penerapan kurikulum 2013 pada pendidikan dasar di Pekanbaru dan (2) menyelidiki kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru pada pendidikan dasar di Pekanbaru dalam menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan penerapan kurikulum 2013 oleh para guru di pendidikan dasar di Pekanbaru dan kendala yang mereka hadapi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah enam pendidikan dasar di Pekanbaru yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Subjek adalah Sekolah Dasar 36 sebagai sekolah yang memiliki kelompok belajar besar, sekolah dasar 160 sebagai sekolah yang memiliki kelompok belajar sedang, sekolah dasar 134 sebagai sekolah yang memiliki kelompok belajar kecil, SMA 1, SMA 6, dan SMA 23. Data dikumpulkan dengan mengamati pembelajaran dan mewawancarai para guru dan kepala sekolah. Data yang dianalisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 di sekolah dasar di Pekanbaru belum berjalan dengan baik. Ada beberapa kendala dalam menerapkan kurikulum 2013 dalam pendidikan dasar di Pekanbaru seperti, (1) pemahaman guru masih kurang dari kurikulum 2013; (2) belum ada perubahan "pola pikir" guru untuk pembelajaran kurikulum 2013; (3) sinkronisasi antara guru kelas dan guru PJOK belum terjadi; dan (4) para guru belum memahami penilaian otentik pada kurikulum 2013.   This research aims to (1) investigate the implementation of curriculum 2013 at basic education in Pekanbaru and (2) investigate the obstacles which faced by teachers at basic education in Pekanbaru implementing the curriculum 2013. This is a qualitative descriptive study which describing the implementation of curriculum 2013 by teachers at basic education in Pekanbaru and the obstacles which they faced. The subject in this study were six basic education in Pekanbaru which implementing the curriculum 2013 The subjects are the elementary School 36 as the school which having large study group, the elementary school 160 as the school which having medium study group, the elementary school 134 as the school which having small study group, yunior high school 1, yunior high school 6, and yunior high school 23. The data was collected by observing the learning and interviewing the teachers and headmaster. The analyzed data showed that the learning based of curriculum 2013 at elementary school in Pekanbaru had not gone well yet. There were some obstacles on implementing curriculum 2013 in basic education in Pekanbaru such as, (1) the understanding of teacher was still less to the curriculum 2013; (2) there is no change of “mindset” of teacher to the learning of curriculum 2013 yet; (3) the sychronization between the class teacher and the PJOK teacher is not happened yet; and (4) the teachers did not understand the authentic assessment on curriculum 2013 yet.

Reading time is a practice carried out by the school to support the literacy movement in Pekanbaru's Raudaturrahmah SDIT school, the program is held on Friday after Friday prayers, students are provided with 40 minutes of reading any books in school, and students bring books from home, and each week students have to report to the class teacher the results of the books they read, and at the end of each semester the class teacher reports to the school head as a result of reading time. The aim of this research is to improve the literacy culture in education system. This research used a qualitative descriptive study, namely research that intends to understand the phenomenon experienced by research subjects holistically by describing it in the form of words in a specific natural context and by utilizing various natural methods as well. The result is The GLS concept applied by SDIT Raudaturrahmah Pekanbaru is at the stage of developing GLS, and has a special GLS program that is reading time which is held every Friday with a time allocation of 30 minutes.

The purpose of this study reveals the role of parents in educating children to achieve achievements in their academic fields. The population of this study were students of grades IV, V, and VI in Public Elementary School No.113 / IV Telanaipura, Jambi City and the sample was 15 outstanding children along with the parents of each child and each of them took only 5 achievers who were made sample. Instrument in data knowledge used interviews with parents of children and documentation in the form of data from mid semester grades IV, V, and VI report cards in odd semester along with photos of high achieving children who got grades 1 to 5. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative descriptive analysis . The results of research conducted on parents of high-achieving students in grades IV, V, and Vi at Public Elementary School No.113 / IV Telanaipura, Jambi City, are known that the role of parents is very important for the success of children in school, namely in the process of achieving these achievements. their children develop the potential of knowledge that children have, through the role of these parents children get the attention that parents should be given to be able to educate their children better in the process of achieving achievement in school. The conclusion of this study is that the role of parents in educating their children to achieve achievements in school is in good quality it can be said that 80% of parents strongly support children by instilling discipline, becoming motivators, supporters, and facilitators for their children.

The background of this study is that there are still problems with the aggressive behavior of students, especially class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Banjarmasin. For this reason, BK needs to be handled by competent teachers according to Law No. 111 of 2014 to be able to form students into the generation of hope of the nation according to Law No. 20 of 2003. The purpose of this study is to find out the services that are carried out and find out the obstacles experienced when running a program of guidance and counseling services in the formation of a personality that has a moral character to handle students' aggressive behavior. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. The research subject was the teacher of BK 32 SMP Negeri Banjarmasin. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the guidance and counseling service program at Banjarmasin State Middle School 32 has had an impact on the formation of the personality of students who have moral character. So that individual counseling services provided by counseling teachers to students who have aggressive behavioral problems are able to make better changes in these students. Suggestions from this study are as BK teachers need to understand the root causes of each student's problem, then need to understand correctly the meaning of personality (in Islam). And the school must pay attention to the guidance and counseling program in it so that it is implemented properly.   Keywords: Guidance and Counseling Services, Personality, Morals, and Aggressive Behavior

The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of how the character formation of the Suluh Harapan Private Elementary School students during learning during the covid 19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative descriptive study, by examining the character formation of students, teachers, parents and school principals through interviews. , and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strengthening of students' independent character emerges from the results of the integration of school principals in fulfilling online learning infrastructure, teacher integration in developing interesting learning, one of which is by giving craft assignments to be used as learning materials applied in both offline and bold learning, the integration of students to help increase curiosity and active learning, one of which is interesting, one of which is the handicrafts provided by the Suluh Harapan Sintang Private Elementary School teacher, as well as the integration of students' parents who help and monitor the use media during home learning.

Unpreparedness of parents in taking care of the interests of children with autism will make children continue backward and not ready for the future. In such conditions it is necessary support for parents in caring for children with autism. This study was conducted aiming to provide support to parents of children with autism so that the problems arising from the existence of an autistic child can be minimized or even eliminated altogether. In addition, this research can also be used as a reference for parents who have children with autism in an effort to maintenance and cure children with autism. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Qualitative research is considered more appropriate to determine the family counseling program for parents who have children with autism in the Autism Institute YPPA Padang. The approach used in this study is deemed appropriate in understanding and motivating parents of children with autism with all complexity as subjective beings.

As a reality, the vast majority of students, in particular, those at elementary school have yet to have awareness of the importance of nature preservation. This constitutes an indication of low naturalist intelligence of elementary school students. As an effort to cope with the problem, it requires solution, namely written technique group guidance. The problem of this research is whether or not written technique group guidance has an influence towards naturalist intelligence of elementary school students. The research uses a pre-experiment method with one group pretest and posttest design. The research samples are 15 people. The data collection uses questionnaire as the main technique. The data are analyzed by using t-test. Based on the research finding, it concludes that there is an influence of written technique group guidance towards naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN No. 85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City. This conclusion is obtained from result of data analysis, which indicating value of tcount = -20,598, and at significance level of 0,05 (14), it obtains ttable = 2,98, which meant the tcount has been outside of acceptance area of H0. This means that the hypothesis which says, “there is influence of written technique group guidance towards naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN 85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City, can be accepted. In other words, the written technique group guidance can increase the naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN No.85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City. Based on the research finding, it is suggested that the guidance and counseling teachers should apply written technique group guidance as an effort to improve the naturalist intelligence of elementary school students.

The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study was to explore the instructional practices of elementary English language learner (ELL) teachers and how those practices are perceived by the teachers to be aligned with improved ELL academic performance. The study is grounded in Ladson-Billings’ theory of culturally relevant pedagogy, which holds that student academic achievement and cultural identity should be affirmed. The research questions focused on exploring instructional practices used by teachers to support ELL learning and the teachers’ perceptions of how their practices are aligned with improved ELL academic performance. The qualitative descriptive study was limited to three elementary schools in an Eastern school district. We analyzed data from lesson plans and semistructured interviews with nine general education teachers who taught in an elementary school in the geographical area. Using a priori, open, and axial coding, we analyzed data from lesson plans and semi-structured interviews with nine elementary school general education teachers who taught in a school in the geographical area. The findings demonstrated that positive strategies for cooperative learning and varied instructional practices were in use, but there is a need to build culturally appropriate and collaborative relationships with teachers of speakers of other languages and create a welcoming learning atmosphere for ELLs. A policy recommendation paper was developed to improve ELL pedagogy in content classes. Improved instruction for ELLs will contribute to positive social change by increasing ELL students’ academic achievement.

This research aims at describing the illustration of life skill level in thelearning community and discovering the design of the Guidance and Counseling Program to improve life skill on Residents Learning Package C at PKBM Serang District, Indonesia. The survey takes census samples which amounts to 86 learning Residents. The life skill scale was carried out by looking at four aspects, namely personal skills, academic skills, social skills, and vocational skills.Data analysis is performed by descriptive quantitative technique. The result of the questionnaire analysis on the life skills level on Residents Learning Package C atPKBM in Serang District were in low category with a percentage of 20%, the medium category with a percentage of 68%, and the high category with a percentage of 12%. After discovering the description of the life skill level, the design of the Guidance and Counseling Program was made based on the research results obtained.

This research aims to determine the management of counseling services in MAN 4 Kediri including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervision. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive of phenomenology in the application of management guidance and counseling services. The results of the study showed the planning of counseling guidance program based on the results of student and environmental needs analysis, organizing officers conducted counseling guidance coordinator based on the agreement between teachers and Counseling. Implementation of activities refers to the unit of service activity: 1) Orientation service is the introduction of new students to the school order and the character of each teacher of study field; 2) Individual counseling services The teachers try to open counseling for the problematic students to devote their hearts to the counseling teachers; 3) Group counseling Services i.e. teacher Counseling Tutoring creates personal and group accounts on social media Facebook; 4) Mediation services in conducting problematic student mediation, counseling teachers collaborate with the class and parents to overcome a problematic student. Here teachers counseling guidance tries to mediate by calling the students and their parents to resolve the problem; 5) Supporting activities: a) home visits; b) instead of case. In addition to that also in the implementation of counseling guidance services There is equipment that supports the governance of counseling guidance. Like the case book for students who are stuck in problems such as smoking is discovered in the middle of the school, caught fouling and others. Outside school counseling teachers also conduct observations at the student's home through visits and observations to obtain detailed student information.
