<em>This study aimed to describe: (1) the type of errors made by the 3<sup>rd</sup> graders of Elementary School in Mathematics Basic Competency Test, (2) the cause of error made by the 3<sup>rd</sup> graders of Elementary School in Mathematics Basic Competency Test. This study was qualitative research. The subject of research was consisted of 3<sup>rd</sup> graders and teachers of Banyumudal cluster Elementary School, Kebumen Sub District in school year of 2018/2019. Techniques of collecting data used were test, interview, observation, and document. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative analysis involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of research were as follows (1) Type of errors made the 3<sup>rd</sup> graders of elementary school in Mathematics Basic Competency Test were: (a) numbers, (b) money, (c) geometry, (d) measurement;  (2) The causes of error made by the 3<sup>rd</sup> graders of elementary school  are understanding poorly: (a) the name and the symbol of numbers, (b) the order of numbers pattern, (c) place value, (d) the subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers, (e) mixed count algorithm, (f) the concept of fraction, (g) the conversion of currency, (h) the concept of area, (i) the measurement of length, width, and time.</em>

Improving the quality of character education needs to be done in all aspects including through cultural contexts. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education based on local wisdom through Orek-Orek dance. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. His research sites are Paron Elementary School and Kedungputri 1 Elementary School, Ngawi District. Data collection techniques include study documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The research was motivated by the low of student’s learning achievement, this could be seen on the following indicators, in daily test, among 29 students, 13 students or 44.8% could achieved KKM specified, 16 students or 55.2% could not achieve it. The objective of research was to find out student’s learning achievement of mathematic. The formulation of research was how the implementation of exchanging viewpoint strategy to improve students’ learning achievement of mathematic for the fourth year students of state elementary school 013 Tanjung Berulak sub-district of Kampar the district of Kampar. The research was classroom action research consisted of for stages namely preparation of action, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The research was done in two cycles every cycle consisted of two meetings. The subject of research was fourth year students on school year 2014-2015 numbering 29 persons, and the object of research was the implementation of exchanging viewpoint strategy to improve students’ learning achievement. The data was collected using observation and test techniques. Data analysis technique was looking for the average and percentage and group it with its categories. The results of research has improved well than at prior action. At prior action students’ learning achievement was 44.82% or 13 students passed, at the first cycle 16 students passed or 55.17%. At the second cycle 23 students passed or the percentage was 79.31%. therefore the writer concluded that the implementation of exchanging viewpoint strategy to improve students’ learning achievement of mathematic for the fourth year students of state elementary school 013 Tanjung Berulak sub-district of Kampar the district of Kampar. AbstractThe aims of this reserch is to find out the spiritualism of Moslem who belief Kejawen’s faith. The subject of this research only one person that is a man 52 years old. He works as a spiritualism teacher, his religion is moslem and he believe kejawen faith.This research used qualitative research. The data collection technique of this reserarch are interview and observation. The data analysis techniques consist of three steeps namely,  data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion.In this research the reseracher found that the subject that moslem religion and adherent of kejawen has high spirituality. It can be seen from his daily activities. He felt happy if he got fairness from God in his life, especially in his prayer. He recognized his identity and his meaning of life. He can recieve all of problems in his life and took the value from the problems. It can be done by combining between Moslem’s pray with Kejawen’s ritual which can create equalization of his life. This research is to describe code switching that teacher used in teaching process. The researcher wants to analysis the type and the function of using code switching by teacher because English is not compulsory subject in elementary school and English is still unfamiliar for Indonesian students. The subject was English teacher who teaches in seventh grade at SMPN 1 Parungponteng, Tasikmalaya. Based on the research, the teacher practiced code switching in order to help the students in delivering materials. In the process of code switching, the teacher practiced Bahasa Indonesia, Sundanese and English. The aims of this research were to classify the types of code switching and functions of code switching. It was descriptive qualitative research designs of which instrument are both observation and interview. The findings from the data analysis indicated that the types of code switching were found in three types: inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching, tag switching. The functions of code switching used by the teacher were found three functions: message reiteration, message qualification and interjection. Furthermore, the type reason of using code switching by teacher based on interview was repetition used for clarification because the teacher wants students understand what teacher has explained. Keyword: code switching, sociolinguistics, bilingualism, English as a foreign language, EFL teaching.

This article is motivated by the fact that the existence of the Street Vendor (PKL) profession is a manifestation of the difficulty of work and the lack of jobs. The scarcity of employment due to the consideration of the number of jobs with unbalanced workforce, economically this has an impact on the number of street vendors (PKL) exploding ... The purpose of being a street vendor is, as a livelihood, making a living, looking for a bite of rice for family, because of the lack of employment, this caused the number of traders to increase. The scarcity of jobs, causes informal sector migration job seekers to create an independent spirit, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, with capital, managed by traders who are true populist economic actors. The problems in street vendors are: (1) how to organize, regulate, empower street vendors in the cities (2) how to foster, educate street vendors, and (3) how to help, find capital for street vendors (4) ) how to describe grief as a Five-Foot Trader. This paper aims to find a solution to the problem of street vendors, so that cases of conflict, cases of disputes, clashes of street vendors with Satpol PP can be avoided. For this reason, the following solutions must be sought: (1) understanding the causes of the explosions of street vendors (2) understanding the problems of street vendors. (3) what is the solution to solving street vendors in big cities. (4) describe Street Vendors as actors of the people's economy. This article is qualitative research, the social paradigm is the definition of social, the method of retrieving observational data, in-depth interviews, documentation. Data analysis uses Interactive Miles and Huberman theory, with stages, Collection Data, Display Data, Data Reduction and Vervying or conclusions.

This study aims at describing how the teachers teach reading comprehension of narrative text to the tenth grade students in Sibolangit and revealing the underlying reasons of why do they do that way. This study was conducted by using qualitative research design. The subject of this study were two english teachers who taught at tenth grade students of two SMA in Sibolangit they are : SMA Negeri  1 Sibolangit  and SMA RK Deli Murni Bandar Baru in academic year 2016/ 2017. The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The  technique of collecting the data was recorded from the classroom process in teaching reading comprehension of narrative text. The findings of the study show that most of teachers’ ways are not yet focusing on teaching reading comprehension but rather focusing teaching the knowledge of genre. The underlying reason of the teachers’ ways in teaching reading comprehension did not facilitate reading comprehension. It was due to the misperception of the concept of teaching reading comprehension.  Keywords : Teaching,Reading Comprehension,Narrative Text.

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.

AbstrakPewarisan budaya menjadi langkah kecil untuk dapat terus melestarikan budaya di suatu daerah. Namun, perkembangan teknologi terkadang mampu menggeser upaya pewarisan budaya tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pewarisan budaya keterampilan dalam pembuatan kerajinan marmer melalui kegiatan “manjing”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui studi fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap yakni (1) reduksi data, (2) display data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Penentuan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan teknik perpanjangan waktu penelitian dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan manjing dilakukan secara rutin. Proses pewarisan dilakukan oleh pengrajin marmer junior mulai dari upaya mengamati, menirukan, dan mempraktekkan hal-hal apa saja yang dilakukan oleh pengrajin marmer senior. Proses pewarisan budaya difokuskan pada kreativitas pembuatan kerajinan marmer. Upaya ini terdapat unsur pembelajaran di dalamnya, dalam konsep pendidikan kemudian proses ini termasuk dalam ranah pendidikan informal.AbstractCultural inheritance is a small step to be able to continue to preserve culture in an area. However, technological developments are sometimes able to shift the effort of cultural inheritance. This study aims to describe the process of cultural inheritance of skills in making marble crafts through "manjing" activities. This research uses qualitative research methods through phenomenology studies. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed using three stages namely (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing. Determination of the validity of the data by using research time extension and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the Manjing activities were carried out routinely. The process of inheritance is carried out by junior marble craftsmen from the effort of observing, imitating, and practicing what things are done by senior marble craftsmen. The process of cultural inheritance is focused on the creativity of making marble handicrafts. This effort has an element of learning in it, in the concept of education then this process is included in the realm of informal education.

This study aims to describe the fuction of extracurricular art of dance for students of SD Negeri 01 Kota Bengkulu. Type of qualitative research and descriptive naturalistic research method.the subject of this research is the extracurricular coach of dance art and the student of extracurricular activities of dance art. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation (data display), data verification(coclusion drawing/verification) and withdrawal of conclusion (verification data). Testing the validity of the data using persistence of observation, membercheck and triangulation. The result of the research show the extracurricular function of dance which includes 1) development fuction, 2) sosialfuction, 3) rekreativefuction, the three fuctions have been done, but there are some indicators in the function of extracurricular art of dance that has not been done, that is development function in indicator the formation in indicator the formation of the character of discipline. In this indicator the formation of the character of students who follow extracurricular activities of dance art came too late because before the extracurricularschedule of dance art there are students who are still in the canteen and rest. Therefore, there should be a break between classroom hygiene activities and extracurricular activities of dance, so that the indicators of character building discipline are done.

The purpose of this study is to find out the improvement of elementary school students' learning achievement through the medium of picture word cards. The problem in this study is still the low learning achievement of students seen from the initial test of learning achievement. This research took place in class I SDN Babatan IV/459 Surabaya. The school is located at Jalan Raya Menganti Babatan Wiyung District of Surabaya City. The research time was carried out in semester 1 (odd) in October of the 2020/2021 School Year. The subject of this study was a student of class I SDN Babatan IV /459 Surabaya which amounted to 28 students. This research design is class action research (PTK) through stage flow (planning, research action, data collection and data analysis) carried out with two cycles. The result of this study is an increase in student learning achievement in each lesson cycle with a minimum completion criteria (KKM) of 70, cycle I completed learning of 15 students or 60% of students who have achieved the minimum completion criteria with an average score of 72.95. While cycle II has increased, 28 students completed their studies or 100% of students have achieved the minimum completion criteria with an average score of 85.4.
