<p><em>Disaster literacy is integrated in learning in schools such as designing teaching materials that contain disaster literacy in it so that participant preparedness students in dealing with disasters can increase, the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of geography teaching materials based on disaster literacy to improve the readiness of Kerjo Karanganyar high school students in dealing with landslides. The method used in this study is one group pre-test post-test, using the t test analysis or independent sample t test with a confidence level of 5%, the results of the study are as follows the effectiveness of the use of geography-based disaster literacy teaching materials at a 5% confidence level (0 , 05) obtained sig 0.0046 &lt;0.05 which means there is an increase in students' disaster preparedness in all aspects, namely knowledge, attitudes, emergency response plans, disaster warning systems and resource mobilization capabilities.</em></p>

The purpose of this study is to produce teaching materials that can enhance the creativity of the learning process, increase development and improve the quality of the application of the development of cooperative models of the type of Round Table with audio media in improving the learning outcomes of writing the description of class X high school students. This research is a research development or Research & Development (R&D). Research and Development is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The results of the study can be concluded from the analysis of teaching material scores by material expert teachers and media expert teachers obtained an average score of 4.74 or 94.74% of the maximum average score of 5.00 with a very good collection. The application of the development of teaching materials in the excellent category is 29 or 90.62% of the students' attention to the material delivered and student activity is included in the excellent category of 30 or 93.75% of students. The quality of the application of the development of cooperative learning model teaching materials of the round table type in learning 100% with very good assessment and the results of post-test analysis of 96.87% indicate whether the learning tools used have practical qualities and the learning devices developed have effective qualities according with student completeness of more than 75%.

AbstractThis article is intended to measure the effectiveness of using Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution for junior high school students and the improvement of teaching materials, in accordance with the principles of development. As an experimental research, the form of this research is a quasy experiment. The object of this research was 53 students in SMP Kota Singkawang. Data were collected using measurement techniques. This study uses a different test using t-test as a data analysis tool. Based on the SPSS output, the t-test results show that the significance = 0.00 <α 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the pre-test and post-test results. Thus it can be concluded that the effective use of teaching materials has an impact on students' understanding of the material of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution at SMP Kota Singkawang. In 21st century learning, critical thinking skills are the main choice that must be mastered by students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of local wisdom-based science teaching materials in improving junior high school students’ critical thinking skills. Most science teachers still apply teacher-centered learning, so students tend to be passive. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The subjects of the research were grade VII students. Data collection techniques and instruments in the form of tests that include indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis used homogeneity test, Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test, independent sample t-test, and n-gain score. The results of the independent sample t-test are sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000<sig. α = 0.05. Students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class were higher (N-gain score = 39.09%) than in the control class (N-gain score = 12.03%). Based on the study results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of local wisdom-based teaching materials in improving the critical thinking skills of middle school students in the moderate category.

The region of Indonesia is located between three tectonic plates namely Eurasian plate, the Pacific plate and Australia-Indies plate. These conditions lead to Indonesia to be proned of earthquakes, tsunamies, volcanic eruptions, and other types of geological disasters. Education for disaster is important to people's lives, to make disaster preparedness which is an absolute requirement for the development of disaster risk reduction. The purpose of this to study is to find out the difference between knowledge of disaster preparedness on high school students before and after given disaster learning.The design in this research method used pre-experimentaltype with pre test and post test in one group. The population on this research werestudents of SDN Candirejo 01 Ungaran as many as 125 students with research samples as many as 68 respondents taken by proportional random sampling technique. Instruments for disaster preparedness variable used questionnaire from LIPI. Univariate analysis test in the form of frequency distribution and percentage and used Wilcoxon bivariat test.The results showed student’s knowledge before the disaster learning is in less category as many as 31 students (51.1%) and after given disaster learning in good category as many as 37 students (55.5%). There is significant differences between knowledge of disaster preparedness before and after given disaster learning by using audio visual on students of SDN Candirejo 01 Ungaran (p = 0.000).

Vocabulary is a knowledge of words and word meanings. To increase the student’s vocabulary, the writer chosen game. A game is an alternative way to teach. One of the alternative games is a charades game. So, based on it the aim of this study is to investigate the effect of charades game toward student’s vocabulary. This study was conducted at the first-grade students of SMPN 18 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. This study used a quasi-experimental design that is used pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of study involved 40 students from two classes SMPN 18 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. The writer took all of the students as a sample, and they are 20 students belong to the experimental group and 20 students in the control group. In this study, the writer used the vocabulary test consists of 20 items multiple choice covered with the indicator of vocabulary consist of spelling, pronunciation, and meaning. The result of this study, the students could understand spelling, pronunciation, and meaning and they could answer the test vocabulary easily through charades game. In this data, pre-test, and post-test as the research technique of data collection, then followed by analyzing the data using the t-test formula. The level of significance is at 0, 05%, t-test = 2,99 and t-table= 2,02, Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was a significant difference between the student's pre-test and post-test scores. Thus, the writer concludes that the charades game on the student’s vocabulary affects.

Studi terbaru menunjukkan bahwa terpapar materi pornografi merupakan hal yang biasa. Pengakses pornografi atau narkolema oleh anak-anak dibawah umur sudah sangat memprihatinkan. Penanggulangan dampak narkolema perlu segera dilakukan dengan berbagai usaha preventif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap siswa dalam pencegahan Narkolema. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group with pre-test and post-test bertujuan untuk melihat metode yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap pencegahan narkolema. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 orang siswa, terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu kelompok intervensi yang mendapat metode peer educator  sebanyak 40 siswa di SMPN 4 Samarinda dan kelompok kontrol yang mendapat modul sebagai bahan bacaan mandiri sebanyak 35 siswa di SMPN 24 Samarinda yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test dan uji  independent t - test. Keputusan pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini berdasarkan taraf signifikansi 5% atau p value = 0,05. Terdapat perbedaan sikap yang bermakna secara statistik p < 0,05 pada kedua kelompok sebesar p = 0,003. Rerata perubahan sikap kelompok perlakuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Pendidikan kesehatan melalui metode peer educator lebih efektif dibanding modul dalam meningkatkan sikap pencegahan Narkolema.

The research aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning PBL ( Problem Based Learning)model with STS (Science Technology Society) approach to improve students’ critical thinking ability. Research is Pre experimental with pre-test and post-test design conducted at Labschool UNESA High School in the academic year 2020/2021. The research sample consisted of 56 students of eleventh grade Natural Science. Collecting data is done through pre-test, applying the model PBL with the STS approach through the Google meet, and the last is post-test. Analysis data using paired t-test, analysis of n-gain, and independent t-test. According to analysis data, students' critical thinking ability scores are suffering an increase that is significant at ? = 5% with an average n-gain in the medium category and consistent in both classes. The conclusion is that the online learning PBL model with the STS approach effectively improves the critical thinking ability of high school students.

Learning English, as outlined in Curriculum 2013, is more directed at mastering the ability to write text-based genres. In this study the author introduces game by utilizing the Android Emulator. The problem of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using the Andoid Emulator tool as an effective interactive learning media on the ability to write and the involvement of students in the learning process of writing. The design of this study is pre-test-post-test group design. After implementing the Game Before Writing Procedure using the Nox Android Emulator, a post-test is performed. The population is high school students SMA Bhayangkari 10 Porong. Research samples were 39 students. The Research Instruments are tests and observation sheet. Data Analysis is using the T Test and descriptive. From data, the mean difference is 12,435. This means that Learning with Game Before Writing Procedure has an influence on the ability of Writing Report.. 80% of students are actively involved in the game. Based on the results of the T Test for the Utilization of the Nox Android Emuator in the implementation of Game Before Writing Learning Procedures, it is effective in improving report writing skills. The fun game encourages student involvement

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of story mapping on improving learning outcomes of reading and writing at junior high school students. This research was categorized into a quasi-experiment in order to measure the significant effect between two treatments - the students who were taught by story mapping and those who were not. This experimental research design is done to compare the post-test both of classes, the t-test for reading and writing t-test > t-table. The results of this study indicated the nul hypothesis of this study was rejected. There is a better and significant effects on the reading and writing learning outcomes of the learners in the experimental class that applies story mapping techniques than learning outcomes of the learners in the control class which non using the story mapping technique. It is concluded that the students’ achievement in the experimental class which used story mapping was better than students’ learning achievement in the control class without story mapping.       Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh story mapping terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar membaca dan menulis peserta didik SMP, dengan desain penelitian yang termasuk kedalam penelitian semu (quasi experiment). Untuk mengukur apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik antara kelas yang diajarkan dengan teknik story mapping dan kelas yang tidak diajarkan dengan teknik tersebut. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan pengujian N-gain (Normalized Gain), dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t (t-test). Hasil N-gain yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen dengan teknik story mapping efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar membaca dan menulis dengan ukuran efek (effect size) pada klasifikasi yang tinggi. Sementara hasil t-test yang diperoleh terhadap hasil belajar membaca dan menulis adalah t-hitung > t-tabel. Sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yang berarti H0 ditolak, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar membaca dan hasil belajar menulis peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan teknik story mapping,yang lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan teknik tersebut.

The main objective of this study was to find out whether it is effective or not to teach English writing through cubing method to the tenth grade students of SMA Rahmaniyah Sekayu. This study used one group pre-test post-test design, where one group that becomes experimental group and used pre-test post-test result to compare the effectiveness in using cubing method. There were four classes or 82 students as the population, and one class or 22 students were taken as the sample. The data collected through test and analyzed by match t-test analysis. The result of test calculation shown that t-obtained was 10.198 it was higher than the critical value in the t-table was 2.0789 so that 10.198 > 2.0798. It means that the reseach hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It can be concluded that cubing method was significantly effective to teach English writing.
