One of the responsibilities of students is to work on academic tasks in a disciplined manner. The problem that arises is when students have a tendency to delay their academic assignments. This is called academic procrastination. Academic procrastination is procrastinating behavior in carrying out academic assignments. One of the internal factors that is important to study related to procrastination is academic self-concept. Self-concept becomes a personality style that is important to be explored further in research on procrastination because a person tends to act in line with the self-concept possessed. There have been many studies conducted related to procrastination. Internal factors of academic procrastination aside from psychological factors also have physiological factors such as neuro activity. This research was conducted at SMAN 44 Jakarta in April-May 2018. The research method used was quantitative descriptive method. The sample used is 120 XI MIPA students. Based on the calculation results obtained normal and homogeneous distributed data. The result of hypothesis testing shows that academic self concept has negative correlation with academic procrastination and rxy is -0473. The academic self concept has a contribution of 22.4% in determining the academic procrastination of learners on Biology subjects. This research  implies that the importance of improving students 'academic self-concept, especially for teachers, is expected to be able to do Biology learning with methods that can develop students' academic self-concept.

From the results of the analysis can be summarized as follows: 1) There is a significant relationship between self-concept of the Learning outcomes chemistry inquiry model. T test against self-concept variables (X1) obtained regression coefficient (B) 0.440 (44.0%), coefficient (Beta) 0.091, tcount of 0.378 with significance 0.006 t. Because of the significance of t less than 5% (0.007 <0.05), the Nil Hypothesis (H0) is rejected and working hypothesis (Hi) is received. 2) There is a significant relationship between self-efficacy toward chemistry Learning outcomes inquiry model. T test for Self-efficacy variable (X2) obtained regression coefficient (B) 0.329 (32.9%), coefficient (Beta) 0.124, tcount of 0.436 with a significance of 0.009 t. Because of the significance of t less than 5% (0.008 <0.05), the Nil Hypothesis (H0) is rejected and working hypothesis (Hi) is received. 3) There is a significant relationship between motivation to learn chemistry results inquiry model. T test for motivation variable (X3) obtained regression coefficient (B) 0.130 (13.0%), coefficient (Beta) 0.065, tcount of 0.230 with a significance of 0.001 t. Because of the significance of t less than 5% (0.001 <0.05), the Nil Hypothesis (H0) is rejected and working hypothesis (Hi) received 4) From the calculation results obtained Fhitung value 2,249 (significance F = 0.001). So Fhitung> F table (2,249> 2:03) or Sig F <5% (0.001 <0.05). It means that together independent variables consisting of variable self-concept (X1), Self-efficacy (X2), motivation (X3) simultaneously to variable results of studying chemistry (Y).

Approximately 95 percent of college students procrastinate on academic tasks such as writing term papers, studying for examinations, and keeping up with weekly reading assignments. At the graduate level, an estimated 60 percent of students procrastinate on academic tasks. Academic procrastination stems primarily from fear of failure and task aversiveness. It has been theorized, though not tested empirically, that highly anxious graduate students typically procrastinate while engaged in library-related tasks. This study investigated the relationship between academic procrastination and library anxiety at the graduate level. Participants included 135 graduate students enrolled in three sections of a required introductory-level educational research course. Findings revealed that, overall, academic procrastination was significantly positively related to the following dimensions of library anxiety: affective barriers, comfort with the library, and mechanical barriers. A canonical correlation analysis revealed that academic procrastination resulting from both fear of failure and task aversiveness was related significantly to barriers with staff, affective barriers, comfort with the library, and knowledge of the library. Implications for library anxiety reduction as a procrastination intervention are discussed.
