PurposeThis paper’s objective is to raise awareness of how customer experience (CX) research, a key construct of modern-day service research, needs to be revisited in view of the pandemic. Particularly, we examine whether CX-related service research constructs, models and frameworks need to be reevaluated during and after the Corona crisis and if so, how and why? Moreover, this paper contributes to CX research by analyzing the customer mindset from three perspectives: emotions, employment and expectations (EEE).Design/methodology/approachWe critically review current CX practices and investigate the impact on how customers perceive services in this time of crisis.FindingsBased on this critical analysis, we discuss implications for research and practice with reference to the example of the luxury industry with its historical emphasis on the CX. This discussion leads to related propositions and research directions through Corona and beyond.Originality/valueWe investigate the current customer mindset in more detail, which we divide into three main themes: emotions, employment and expectations (EEE).

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many organizations around the world to make full use of a variety of emerging online communication platform technologies. Universities are among the organizations that have asked students, tutors, and lecturers to use a number of different online communication platforms to ensure the education process remains uninterrupted. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has generated considerable challenges for the global higher education community while using such emerging technologies. This research has two main goals. First, this paper will begin by investigating whether the online learning platforms used by university students during the COVID-19 period have presented any challenges to their learning. Second, the paper will then go on to address proposed solutions by developing a conceptual model to reduce the impact of such challenges. This research uses an exploratory qualitative research approach, supported by literature content analysis techniques. The data set for this study was collected during the first peak of the pandemic period in Malaysia, between the 16th of May 2020 and the 5th of June 2020. We used SPSS to conduct a descriptive analysis and NVivo12 to analyse data collected from 486 students from different universities in Malaysia. These students disclosed various obstacles they encountered when they used IT platform applications for online learning. These obstacles include (a) work and information overload received from instructors, (b) inadaptability and unfamiliarity of the new online learning environment, and (c) personal health challenges related to stress and anxiety. Based on previous relevant research, this study introduced a set of motivational factors and developed a conceptual motivational model for sustainable and healthy online learning.

The results of this study are the impact on teacher performance, that is, the loss of teacher motivation in teaching and there are teachers who do not understand use of electronic devices, the impact on the learning process is that students are not familiar with the distance learning process,Impact on parents as student guardians is issue between students and teachers and economic conditions can affect the learning process of the students. In the midst of this pandemic, parents are very influential in children's development, such as trying to create a supportive environment to motivate children in learning with these different situations, and the government is expected to participate in embracing the complaints and needs of children in learning, for example internet quotas. Hopefully with joint efforts, the pandemic will end quickly and we can return to building a pleasant situation better than before.

As creatures who have reason and mind, human life cannot be separated from the assessment of good and bad deeds. This is where the position of ethics is so important for the way or direction of human life. With reason, humans can position themselves to act. What to do and what to avoid and leave in accordance with the existing rules. Ethics as a branch of science from philosophy has received very good attention from philosophers. So that from the thinking of these philosophers emerged various types of ethics, one of which is the flow of pragmatic ethics. This pragmatic flow is found in England and America. One of the most influential pragmatists of his time was the pragmatism of John Dewey. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how John Dewey's pragmatic ethical thinking is and how relevant it is to online learning in Indonesia. In line with the objectives, this research uses the type of research library research and uses descriptive analysis method. As the results of his research, John Dewey's pragmatic ethics teaches that something will be good if we can look for goodness that can be used and not just talk. An important point of John Dewey's teaching of pragmatic ethics is that experience is knowledge applied in practice. A truth will be seen in testing by experiences in practice. An action taken can be considered ethical if it brings a scientific benefit such as producing pleasure, satisfaction and goodness for society. Dewey strongly supports social life and does not like people who live individualistically. For him, a person will have meaning if they can blend in with society because humans cannot live alone and are very dependent on other people. If one lives without society, then one's life is meaningless (sociality education). John Dewey's ethics are closely related to life in today's modern era. The impact of the corona virus requires education in Indonesia to be carried out online or online. Thus, this implementation is related to John Dewey's pragmatic ethics which judges something good based on the practical benefits of a theory or the existence of proof of a theory.

This article discusses impact of UMNO-PAS political cooperation towards Islamic development in Malaysia from 1973 until 1978. The success of political cooperation in 1973 was the result of both UMNO’s leader, Tun Abdul Razak and PAS’s leader, Asri Muda willingness to explore a new political approach compared to what was being practiced at that time. Both leaders then started the development of a government known as the ‘Cooperation Government’ with the combination of UMNO and PAS in 1973 and later on, the development of the National Front’s (BN) Coalition Government in 1974. The Islamic religion benefits the most from the development of the Coalition Government which is a favourable gain for the Malays in Malaysia.
Abstract. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This research is important because the lecture learning model makes learning meaningless so it impacts on low learning outcomes. This research uses quasi experiment using control class and experimental class. Respondents in this study were students of class X SMK 8 Semarang Academic Year 2017/2018. Sample selection using random sampling, class X1 is used as a control class and X2 is an experimental class. The experimental class was given an intervention by learning Teams Games Tournaments (TGT), while the control class used lecture learning. The effectiveness of the model was measured by the student test analysis method. then analyzed by completeness test and average difference test. The findings of this study are the learning outcomes of experimental class students achieving better learning outcomes than classes using the lecture method.

Keywords: Learning Model, Teams Games Tournaments (TGT). The purpose of this paper is to describe the Problem Posing learning model with Task and Forced Strategy. As for the background of this writing is because of difficulties in understanding the material and also lack of enthusiasm of students in learning the material so that the impact on student learning outcomes is still low. The low student learning outcomes are, of course, many factors, one of which is the problem of applying a learning model that is still teacher-centered, so students tend to be passive. For this reason, the teacher can use the Problem Posing learning model that is modified by the task and force strategy (Task and Forced). Problem Posing learning model is a learning model that requires students to develop their systematic reasoning skills in making questions and answering questions. While the task and force strategy (Task and Forced) is a learning strategy that has little effect on students to complete the task until it is completed and on time to avoid the punishment given by the teacher as a consequence. So that students will be motivated in listening, understanding the material delivered and doing assignments on time. By combining this model and strategy can be a solution so that the learning process becomes quality.
