AbstractThe objective of this research is to study the relationship between cognitive ability, cultural value, and lifestyle with the environment empathy towards the society in the batik waste disposal area.The research was conducted in the community of batik waste disposal area. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique.The data for the environmental empathy, cognitive ability, value of culture, and lifestyle were gathered by using questionnaire. The data obtained was analyzed by using regression, simple correlation, multiple correlation, and partial correlation.The result of the study showed that: (1) there was a positive correlation between the cognitive ability with environmental empathy; (2) the was a positive correlation between the value of culture with the environmental empathy; (3) there was a positive correlation between lifestyle with the environmental empathy; (4) there was a positive correlation between cognitive ability, value of culture, and lifestyle with the environmental study.It can be concluded that cognitive ability, value of culture, and lifestyle can increase the envirionmental empathy.

The research is aimed at determine the  relationship of  achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism on the teacher’s teaching ability. The research was done in Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The number of population is all elementary school teachers, while the number of the samples is 50 teachers taken using simple random sampling. The instruments used were: (1) observation checklist for getting the data of teacher’s teaching ability, and (2) questionnaires for achievement motivation and assesment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using simple and multiple correlation and regression.  The result showed that: there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation (X1) and assessment towards the guidance for teacher’s professionalism (X2) simultaneously and teacher’s teaching ability (Y), (ry12 =0.62 and r2 =0,38 ). Based on the results, it can be stated that the ability of teachers can be improved by improving achievement motivation and developing the assessment of the professional teachers.

Most scholars have argued that student engagement positively predicts academic achievement, but some have challenged this view. We sought to resolve this debate by offering conclusive evidence through a meta-analysis of 69 independent studies (196,473 participants). The results revealed that (a) there was a moderately strong and positive correlation between overall student engagement and academic achievement, and an analysis of the domains of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement showed that almost all had a positive correlation with students' academic achievement; and (b) a moderator analysis revealed that the relationship between student engagement and academic achievement was influenced by the method of reporting engagement, cultural value, and gender. Furthermore, the relationships of behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement with academic achievement were influenced by reporting method for engagement, cultural value, or gender.

The aims of the study are to determine the correlation between (1) vocabulary mastery and writing skill; (2) reading habit to writing skill; (3) vocabulary mastery, reading habit, and writing skill. The sample of the research is 26 second grade students of MTs N Jumapolo. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and test. The questionnaire was used to collect the data of students’ reading habit, while the test was used to collect the data of vocabulary mastery and writing skill. In analyzing the data, the researcher used Simple Correlation and Multiple Correlation Technique. The result of this study show that (1) there is a positive correlation between vocabulary mastery and writing skill ( = 0.74); (2) there is a positive correlation between reading habit and writing skill ( = 0.63); (3) there is a positive correlation between vocabulary mastery, reading habit, and writing skill ( = 0.809).

The purpose of this study is to determine the presence or absence of price relationships with patient satisfaction in Bhakti Medicare, Cicurug, Sukabumi.  The population of this research is 130 Bhakti Medicare’s patients, Cicurug, Sukabumi consisting of patients in Jasmine Room, Rose Room, Dahlia Room and Orchid Room. This amount fulfills the minimum sample for Slovin formula. The collected data is then processed using simple correlation and multiple correlation techniques using SPSS software. The results show that there is positive relation between price and satisfaction with correlation coefficient value equal to (ry.1) = 0,679, while price contribution to patient satisfaction equal to r2 = (ry.1)2 = 46,2%. In addition, price contribution is considered strong against patient satisfaction which means increased price will ensure patient satisfaction in Bhakti Medicare hospital, Cicurug, Sukabumi regency. In the most important dimension of price variable, the relationship is the dimension of "payment period" (X14) which has the strongest relationship with "consistency" dimension (Y3) on patient satisfaction variable with correlation coefficient 0,641. Therefore it can be concluded that the price dimension that most determine patient satisfaction at Bhakti Medicare Hospital, Cicurug, Sukabumi Regency is the dimension of price.

The results of learning physical education of students at Kuta Baro MTsN are very lacking, this is of course there is a connection with kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal and intrapersonal with the results of physical education learning students of MTsN Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. This type of correlational research using 175 Baro students MTsN students, while the sample technique uses random sampling taken 15% from 25 people, and data analysis using multiple correlation formulas. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence with students learning outcomes at Kuta Baro MTsN.

Article clarified the relationship between knowledge of syntax and reading skill in English for specific purposes. The research was conducted at the Industrial Engineering Faculty of Trisakti University in 2002 with sample of 100 students using simple random sampling by Lottery. Data was analyzed by using simple regression test and simple correlation test. The result of the research revealed that there was a positive relationship between knowledge of syntax and reading skill in English for specific purposes. It is concluded that reading skill in English for specific purposes can be improved by increasing knowledge of syntax.

<p>The study is aimed to reveal the correlation between student’s English interest, vocabulary mastery toward student’s English achievement of the second-semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the academic year of 2017/2018. This study used a test, a questionnaire, and documentation to collect the data. The population of the study is all of the second-semester students while the sample is 50 students taken by cluster random sampling technique. The techniques used to analyze the data are simple and multiple correlation and regression by using SPSS 23. The results of the study show that there is a positive correlation between student’s English interest, and vocabulary mastery toward student’s English achievement. In reading comprehension has some factors that influence the skill. One of the factors is vocabulary mastery. The objective of this research is to know whether there is any correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension and the degree of correlation. The total of the participants of this research was 30 students in VII A of the seventh grade students of SMPN 7 Metro. Cluster random sampling technique was used to get the sample. A correlatinal analysis was employed to know the relationship between scores in the reading comprehension and vocabulary mastery test. Based on the research calculation by using correlation product moment, it was obtained that  is 0,462, and  is 0,367 in significant 5% and 0,470 in significant 1%. The average of vocabulary mastery was 61,6. The finding also indicate that the students’ achievement in the vocabulary was poor. The average score of reading comprehension was 62,4. It means that the students’ achivement in the reading comprehension was fair. Therefore, the findings provide that there was a positive correlation between vocabuary mastery and reading comprehension of the seventh grade students of SMP N 7 Metro.

The purposes of this study are: (1) to find out whether there is any positive correlation between risk-taking and Australasian Parliamentary English Debate; (2) to find out whether there is any positive correlation between apeaking ability and Australasian Parliamentary English Debate; (3) to find out whether there is any positive correlation between risk-taking, speaking ability, and Australasian Parliamentary English Debate of the fifthh semester students of English Education Department of Unswagati in academic year 2014-2015.This research is carried out at English Education Department of Unswagati Cirebon. This research was conducted in 3 months, from January to March 2015. The population of this research was the fifth semester students of English Education Department of Unswagati Cirebon. There were 80 students taken as sample for this study using random sampling technique. the data used for this study were collected using performance tests and questionnaire. The data gained from questionnaire and tests were then being analyzed using simple correlation and multiple linier regression.Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) there is significant positive correlation between risk-taking and Australasian Parliamentary English Debate.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students' ability in identifying ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in the frame of Unity in Diversity with an attitude of respect for ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in class VII students of Surakarta State Junior High School 4.</em></p><p><em>This research is quantitative research. The method used is descriptive correlational statistics. Subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are test and questionnaire instruments. Validity test used uses the product moment formula. Reliability testing uses the Spearman Brown formula to test the X variable, and the Cronbach Alpha formula to test the Y variable. Data analysis uses a simple correlation technique.</em></p><p><em>The results in this study are that there is a positive and significant relationship between students' ability to identify ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity in the frame of Unity in Diversity with an attitude of respect for ethnic, religious, racial and intergroup diversity. A positive relationship between variable X and variable Y is indicated by the value of r count = 0.889&gt; r table = 0.244.
