<em>The quality of education as a pillar of human resource development, closely related to management at educational institutions. Quality education will arise if quality schools, which can not be separated from the management properly. The quality of education is not independent of inputs, processes, outputs or outcomes. The objective of the paper is to present and compare the results of several international projects and to identify pedagogical and project success elements. The generic projects are few examples that had in common the several objectives: to identify the training needs; to develop an evaluation tool to transform actual and current training offered by corporate /occupational further training institutes ; to improve quality of education to meet the needs of working life. In projects, the training needs were identified involving universities, educational institutions, training and consulting companies from countries across Europe.The selection of the study cases is not random. The intent is to emphasis the consequences-by using similar approach-into distinct project methodologies: one is promoted largely by sponsors from US; the other three are according to the EU rules, regulations, and procedures.

The low quality of education in Indonesia is actually a long-standing discussion. But until now permasalahn the quality of education is also finished. Quality education is the expectations and demands of all stakeholders in education. Everyone will certainly prefer menntut science at an institution that has a good quality. On this basis, schools / educational institutions should be able to provide good service and quality in order not to be abandoned and unable to compete with other educational institutions. From a variety of views, criteria and indicators that we can take that quality education could be improved if the school has one) support from the government, 2) Leadership Principals effective, 3) Performance good teacher, 4) relevant curriculum 5) graduates quality, 6) culture and climate of effective organization, 7) the support of the community and parents. Implementation of management in improving the quality of education is a real solution is to be hope in order to manage the indicators of the quality of education to create a synergy in efforts to improve the quality of education. Abstrak Rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Indonesia sebenarnya merupakan diskusi yang telah lama ada. Namun hingga saat ini permasalahn mutu pendidikan tidak juga kunjung selesai. Pendidikan yang berkualitas merupakan harapan dan tuntutan seluruh stakeholder pendidikan. Semua orang tentunya akan lebih suka menntut ilmu pada lembaga yang memiliki mutu yang baik. Atas dasar ini maka sekolah/ lembaga pendidikan harus dapat memberikan pelayanan dan mutu yang baik agar tidak ditinggalkan dan mampu bersaing dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Dari berbagai pandangan, kriteria serta indikator yang dapat kita ambil bahwa pendidikan yang bermutu dapat ditingkatkan apabila sekolah memiliki 1) dukungan dari pemerintah, 2) Kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah yang efektif, 3) Kinerja guru yang baik, 4) kurikulum yang relevan, 5) lulusan yang berkualitas, 6) budaya dan iklim organisasi yang efektif, 7) dukungan masyarkat dan orang tua siswa. Implementasi manajemen dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan merupakan sebuah solusi nyata yang menjadi harapan agar dapat mengelola indikator mutu pendidikan untuk saling bersinergi dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan Kata Kunci: Peningkatan Mutu, Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan

[Id]Lembaga Pendidikan merupakan suatu lembaga yang strategis dalam menghasilkan dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di suatu negara. Informasi dan pencarian lokasi lembaga sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat untuk menentukan pilihan lembaga yang diinginkan. Pada penelitian ini pengetahuan mengenai Lembaga Pendidikan di Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta (DIY) disimpan dalam model ontologi berbasis web. Provinsi DIY terkenal sebagai kota pelajar dan menjadi tujuan untuk menuntut ilmu. Lembaga pendidikan terdiri dari lembaga pendidikan formal dan non-formal, lembaga pendidikan formal yang terdiri dari Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Universitas dan sebagainya, sedangkan lembaga pendidikan non formal seperti Lembaga Kursus dan Lembaga Pelatihan dan Keterampilan (LPK).Penilitian ini bertujuan merancang ontologi lembaga pendidikan Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta dan merancang sistem pencarian. Hasil dari penelitian ini membangun sebuah aplikasi pencarian menggunakan pencarian berdasarkan kata kunci dan kriteria. Dalam pencarian menggunakan kata kunci, pengguna dapat melakukan pencarian sesuai pengetahuan pengguna. Sedangkan pencarian menggunakan kriteria, pengguna dapat melakukan pencarian dengan kriteria yang terdapat pada aplikasi dengan bantuan pilihan untuk pencarian. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga memiliki beberapa fitur, seperti rute ke lokasi lembaga pendidikan yang ada di Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta.[En]Educational Institution is an institution that is strategizes in generating and improving the quality of human resources in a country. Information and location search is needed in community organizations to determine the selection of the desired institute. In this study, knowledge of Institutions in Yogyakarta is stored in a web-based ontology model. Yogyakarta is famous as a city of students and a destination for studying. Schools consisting of formal educational institutions and non-formal institutions, formal education institutions consist of elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, university and so on, while non-formal education institutions consist of private Institute courses and the Institute for Training and Skills (LPK).This research aims to design the ontology of educational institutions province of Yogyakarta and search systems design. The results of this study is the development a search application using a search based on keywords and criteria. In search using keywords, users can conduct a search according the user's knowledge. While using a search criteria, users can perform a search with the criteria contained in the application with the help of an option to search. In addition, the application also has several features, such as the route to the location of existing educational institutions in Yogyakarta.

The paper attempted to provide an assessment of the value of quality education in Nigeria’s education. It also attempted to philosophically analyze the concept of quality education. Under this, meaning of the concept of quality has been explored despite the fact that it has been perceived as an elusive and indescribable concept. The paper trashed out why as administrators of educational institutions, curriculum planners or policy makers quality is needed and why worries about it in our education system because you may be having aforementioned questions in your mind. The rationale behind analyzing the concept of quality education has also been justified. The paper went further to explore the issues and challenges that are militating against the provision of the quality education. Also, issues and challenges that brought about the need for quality education in Nigeria have been identified. Lastly, the paper found out that education is under-funded, quality teachers and quality educational facilities are inadequate. Therefore, the researcher recommends that 26% or above of National annual budgetary allocation should be allocated to education sector. Adequate professional and qualified teachers should be recruited and employed, adequate quality educational facilities should be provided as precisely stated in NPE to enhance its provision theoretically and practically.

Abstrak. Human resource development demands from time to time are increasing. Therefore education services must be able to keep up with these developments. Besides family and school, the community has its own role in education. The role of the community in madrasah education must be carried out jointly to improve the quality of education. So the role in education is not only educators but also the community must contribute to improving the quality of education for the betterment of the nation. Therefore, the community has an important role in achieving a quality education goal. Education as a process requires synergy between components and requires an understanding of the vision of all stakeholders involved. Education has always sought to provide guidance to students to establish and develop science and personality intact. The importance of improving the quality of education for students, and based on the term that education is as one program that can prepare and predict the development of students in the future, then, some efforts should be made by the Islamic educational institutions. In this case, MTs Probolinggo is one that should be oriented to achieve the quality of personality to development and prepare future generations who are ready to face the globalization era. In achieving this goal, the Islamic religious education in particular must have the correct strategy and precise in its development.Based on the reality happened in MTs Probolinggo, the learning of Islamic religious education in schools had been running in precise. But Islamic religious education especially MTs Probolinggo this should be taken to ensure that students not only can learn by heart religious lessons, but also able to be affective and behavioral. It is evident that in the previous year students MTs Probolinggo one has a moral decline that is one of the students exposed to cases of liquor. But it can be solved by getting serious handlers by the school so that the good name of MTs Probolinggo back brilliantly.From the background of the above problems, the researcher is motivated to conduct the research on the strategy of Islamic religious education in improving students' personalities in MTs Probolinggo. The focal points of this study are: (1) how is the steps of learning Islamic religious education in improving the quality of students' personalities in MTs Probolinggo?; (2) how is the implementation of learning Islamic religious education in students personality development in MTs Probolinggo?.The objectives in this study are: (1) to describe the steps of learning Islamic religious education in improving the quality of students' personalities in MTs Probolinggo; (2) to describe the implementation of learning Islamic education in improving the quality of students' personalities in MTs Probolinggo.Based on the data obtained and the result of this research, it can be can be summarized as follows: The first steps of learning Islamic education in improving the quality of students' personalities in the MTs Probolinggo can be quite good. Teachers of Islamic religious education in MTs Probolinggo has taken steps learning through teacher's council of Islamic religious education lessons, ranging from the preparation of the appropriate standard of syllabus content, standard competence and guide the preparation curriculum KTSP; make analysis today effective; effective last analysis; annual program; term program and lesson plan.
