This study aims to determine the implementation of character education in improving the quality of education in the industrial revolution era 4.0. This is seen from how character education functions in improving the quality of education especially in the global era. Increasingly sophisticated technology will bring positive influences and negative factors in educational institutions. School institutions in maintaining this balance, it is necessary to strengthen character education in an effort to improve the quality of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and conducts a study of existing research, here the techniques are used through observation, interviews and others.

Religious culture of pesantren has its uniqueness which is still expected to be a support for the development of the education system in Indonesia. The authenticity and distinctiveness of the pesantren as well as the treasure the nation’s cultural traditions, is also a butter force for the educational pillar to bring up moral leaders of the nation, is a form of pesantren education that is characterized by traditionalism. This study used a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and content analysis. The process of improving the quality of pesantren education is part of the development of national education, which is part of an effort to improve the quality of full human education. For achieving the quality of education, it must be based on a significant change. The change is needed in the management of quality and competitive educational institutions. Now one of the challenges faced by educational institutions is how to manage quality. Quality educational institutions, institutions that prioritize the quality of graduates and are able to demonstrate the values of education that make a top priority, due to a significant change in pesantren.

The current situation in secondary education is characterized by the development of various educational institutions, which differ not only in educational programs and curriculum, but also in the conditions for training and educating, which make up the educational environment of modern educational institutions. The importance of studying the processes of forming the educational environment in a modern school is relevant, since the quality of education and upbringing of modern students who spend most of their time in the educational environment of schools will depend on its organization. Studying the problems of organizing the educational environment is also important in the sense that it is the qualitative approach to this process that will determine in the future if it is possible for students to receive high-quality educational services. The influence of the educational environment on the modern student is determined today, first of all, by the students' perception of the educational process, their involvement in the process of its creation and improvement. The effectiveness of the educational environment may also depend on how the student perceives it. So, the educational environment can be an effective means of developing the potential of the student, but if it is an integrated space for the interaction of children and adults (parents, teachers).

<em>The quality of education as a pillar of human resource development, closely related to management at educational institutions. Quality education will arise if quality schools, which can not be separated from the management properly. The quality of education is not independent of inputs, processes, outputs or outcomes. Therefore, education must be continuously upgraded through a management system that can be accountable to stakeholders in order to be able to prepare future generations who have a competitive advantage in answering and solving the future challenges of the nation in the global era. The reason for choosing in MTs Negeri 2 Palembang because in terms of acceptance of MTs Negeri 2 Palembang receive inputs with the selection of both written tests and test kaji. In the process of education continues to increase the potential of existing teachers proven teachers who have S2 as much as 6 people. Outputs issued can penetrate state high school and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri and students who excel, therefore MTs Negeri 2 Palembang can be used as a model</em>

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Mutu Sekolah TK Melalui akreditasi se-kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui akreditasi di kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan bagi anak usia dini perlu dilaksanakan dan dibenahi secara sungguh-sungguh. Sebab secara umum berdasarkan dari seluruh standar penilaian TK di Kecamatan Pucuk Rantau  belum begitu baik. Hal Ini terlihat dari berbagai hambatan seperti Kegiatan akreditasi yang dilakukan belum dipahami secara penuh oleh seluruh TK yang ada di kecamatan. Sosialisasi yang masih kurang sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan kepada anak didik. Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang ada serta keterbatasan pengetahuan administrasi di sekolah menjadikan hasil akreditasi tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Masih terbatasnya biaya operasional sekolah sehingga gerak percepatan perubahan akreditasi juga lambat. Oleh sebab itu seluruh aspek harus diberdayakan  baik sumber daya manusia maupun sumber daya lainnya yang merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan.      Kata kunci : Mutu Sekolah, Akreditasi Abstract This study aims to determine the quality improvement of kindergarten schools through accreditation in the Pucuk Rantau district of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of research conducted through descriptive methods with a qualitative approach to improving the quality of schools through accreditation in Pucuk Rantau subdistrict Management of educational institutions, especially education for early childhood needs to be implemented and addressed in earnest. Because in general, based on all the standards for the assessment of kindergarten in Pucuk Rantau District, it has not been so good. This can be seen from various obstacles such as the accreditation activities carried out not yet fully understood by all kindergartens in the sub-district. Inadequate socialization that has an impact on the quality of service to students. The limitations of existing facilities and infrastructure and limited administrative knowledge in schools make the accreditation results not in line with expectations. The limited operational costs of the school so that the acceleration of changes in accreditation is also slow. Therefore all aspects must be empowered both human resources and other resources which are the main keys in improving and developing the quality of education. Keyword: School Quality, Accreditation

This study aims at providing an understanding of the Method of Strengthening the character education value for students in the Industrial revolution 4.0 era. In writing this study seeks to present methods that are relevant for strengthening the value of character education in students in Industrial revolution 4.0 era. The results showed that the method of strengthening the value of character education for students in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era included: a) Exemplary Method, b) Pilot Method, c) Habituation Method, d) Repetition Method, e) Training Method, f) Motivation Method. The challenges are the readiness of educational institutions and educational resources, the readiness of families, the still weak control and support of elements of society, and the shift in the community's paradigm from productivity to consumptive. Then opportunities that can be exploited are self-development faster, opportunities to become innovators in every field of expertise, students from all walks of life have the same opportunity in strengthening competitiveness in the global era.

This study aims to examine the analysis of the quality and quality of education in islmaic educational institutions in MAN 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation and documentasion. The results showed that; 1). To achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the Madrasah, the principal plays an active role in assisting and communicating to teachers and staff in realizing the vision and mission of the Madrasah by realizing knowledgeable, charitable and noble personality; 2). MAN 2 Yogyakarta has excellent academic and non-academic achievements; 3). Graduates or graduates of MAN 2 Yogyakarta are able to compete with other Madrasah to continue in Indonesia’s best universities, such as UGM, UNY, IPB, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and Jendral Sudirman University; 4). To be a superior Madrasah, MAN 2 Yogyakarta is still not superior enought, that is because there are some facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled properly.

<p>Pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 <em>Gamifikasi</em> dan <em>Massive Open Online Course</em> (MOOC) merupakan fenomena baru dalam pembelajaran terbuka dan dikenal sebagai strategi yang baik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Namun demikian, MOOC memiliki dua kelemahan utama: pertama, kurangnya pemahaman untuk mengetahui sasaran pribadi; dan kedua, tingkat penyelesaian yang rendah dibandingkan dengan jumlah pendaftaran ke MOOCs. Untuk dapat mengatasi dua kelemahan tersebut peneliti mengusulkan pemanfaatan <em>Gamifikasi.</em> Dalam tulisan ini akan diuraikan berbagai penelitian yang berkaitan dengan <em>Gamifikasi </em>dan MOOC. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa MOOC tidak memerlukan tingkat penyelesaian penuh seperti kursus tradisional yang biasanya dianggap sebagai keberhasilan. Selain itu gamifikasi dapat meningkatkan efektifitas MOOC untuk dapat mengatasi masalah utama dalam penerapannya melalui pengguanaan elemen-elemen penting dalam gamifikasi.</p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Abstract"><em>Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Gamification and the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a new phenomenon in open learning and is known as a good strategy to improve the quality of education. However, the MOOC has two main disadvantages: first, lack of understanding to know personal goals; and second, the completion rate is low compared to the number of registrations to MOOCs. To be able to overcome these two weaknesses, researchers will propose the use of Gamification. In this paper various studies relating to Gamification and MOOC will be described. The methodology of this research uses a qualitative approach with emphasis on data analysis. The result is that the MOOC does not require a full level of completion like a traditional course which is usually considered a success. In addition, gamification can increase the effectiveness of the MOOC to be able to overcome the main problems in its application through the use of important elements in gamification</em></p>

Principal's strategy is the art and knowledge gained by a principal in formulating, implementing, evaluating cross-functional decisions that facilitate the organization in achieving goals. Teachers are the key to the success of an educational institution. Good and bad behavior or teaching procedures for teachers will greatly affect the image of educational institutions. This study aims to examine and discuss in-depth the principal's strategy in developing teacher competence at MA Tarbiyatul Islam Gending Probolinggo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The model that can be used to improve the competence of teachers in carrying out their duties is through In-service education or In-service training programs. (2) The strategic steps of the principal's leadership in developing teacher competence to improve the quality of education are the first formal strategy, namely the teacher is assigned by the institution to attend education and training, the second non-formal strategy, namely the teacher on his own desire and effort to train and develop himself related to work or position.

The article considers the issue of school digitalization as an important condition for improving the quality of education. The e-learning environment provides students with greater independence. AbstractAccreditation is one of the governments to improve the quality of education. Likewise, to ensure the quality of education at the PAUD and PNF levels, the government held an accreditation program. However, it still has issues that need to be resolved. This study aims to identify and describe the problems of accreditation and quality mapping in the Education Office of Kulonprogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. Based on the results of this research, in mapping the quality of accreditation in PAUD and PNF in Kulonprogo Regency, the first activity carried out was to conduct a quality mapping analysis of each institution. And the results show that the average standard kindergarten, KB, Pos PAUD, LPK and PKBM institutions that must be supervised strictly is the standard of financing. After conducting the analysis, a workshop was conducted with the Dikpora and all PAUD and PNF heads. Keywords: Quality mapping, accreditation, PAUD, PNF.
