Food security in some area can be measured by Food Security and Vulnerability Atlas (FSVA). FSVA is measured with three aspects which are food availability, accessibility, and utilization aspects. Based on FSVA of East Java 2018, there are 3 sub-districts in Malang Regency in insecurity condition. Food security problems in Malang Regency are low rice land area, poverty, and low clean water availability. One of efforts to solve these problems are with Special Efforts Rice, Corn, and Soybean Program. To determine the impact of this program on levels food security by using FSVA and the differences between sub-districts participating in the UPSUS PAJALE activity and sub-districts that did not participate. This study is aim to describe food security level in Malang Regency and analyze impact of Special Efforts Rice, Corn, and Soybean Program on food security level in Malang Regency. The data analysis method used is the analysis of the Food Security and Vulnerability Atlas (FSVA) in the form of individual indicator analysis, composite analysis, spatial analysis, and descriptive analysis. Overall, the condition of food security in Malang Regency in 2018 and 2019 is included in priority 4 (resistant condition), so there is no significant change, but there are no sub-districts included in priority 1 or very food vulnerable. The UPSUS PAJALE program is also able to maintain the level of food security in 2018-2019 which is included in priority 4 (somewhat resistant), but has not increased the level of food security.

This study aims to reveal the extent of openness of communication carried out among students of the Da'wah Faculty and UINSU communication and its impact on worship activities carried out by these students. Observations and interviews are techniques used to collect data in this study. Triangulation analysis method is also used to analyze the data obtained from respondents, descriptive analysis research method applied in this study. From 30 respondents taken with a percentage of 20 female respondents and 10 male respondents it was found that social media activities through Facebook had a special attraction and increased their confidence in communication. The impact felt by the respondents was more to the shift in the discipline of worship that they did when cool communicating with their virtual friends, recitations of the Koran that are usually done before prayer time arrives multiplied by the fun they are chatting, status updates or just looking at their Facebook wall.

This research aims to analyze the rate of household food availability, the rate of farmers’ participation, factors related to farmers’ participation rate, and the impact of the participation on the food availability. The research is a survey conducted in Ambarawa Subdistrict, Pringsewu District, as Ambarawa is an area that has many active food barns. Thirty food barn institutions were chosen randomly, and from each barn  two farmers were chosen randomly as respondents.  Research data is collected in September – November 2016 and analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the rate of household food availability was 3,392.97 kkal/cap/day or equivalent to 2,135.58 kg of dried unhulled rice annually. The rate of farmers’ participation was included in a medium category. Age, membership time in barns, rice production, income, membership in farmer groups were not significantly related to farmers’ participation rate. Farmers’ participation did not have significant impact on food availability of farmer households. Key words: barns, farmer household, food availability, participation

The study in this manuscript discusses the impact on the educational equalization system of Pesantren Salafiyah and designs how Pesantren Salafiyah has always existed in the world of modern education. This research belongs to the type of qualitative study using the document analysis method. The form of data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The research approach method in this paper is library research. This study is divided into four methods, namely, the method of determining the subject, the form of the study, the method of data collection, and the method of data analysis. The result is the ability of Pesantren Salafiyah to make certain accommodations and concessions to find a pattern that they consider appropriate enough to face modernization and changes that are increasingly fast and have a broad impact without sacrificing the essence and other basic things in the existence of the pesantren, so that Pesantren Salafiyah still exists in the midst of the hustle and bustle of modernizing Islamic education

In this study, we developed agro sector mapping of current condition, problems, threats, potentials, and strategic policies in rural area in East Seram, Maluku Province especially in Bula District. The aims of the agro mapping was to make food security planning in East Seram. The mapping process was conducted through literature study, observations, and data collecting through focus group discussion. The data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. We also collected the data based on 9 indicators of food security before and after 5 years of intervention in livestock program and capacity building. The data were calculated for their indicators and composite values, then analyzed to define food security improvement. Based on the data, livestock were still raised traditionally on pastures. To enhance food-security, the resilience should be built through: (1) the improvement of land productivity, including infrastructure, facilities for intensive livestock systems, and optimization of dry land’s potential; (2) water management; and (3) capacity building for communities. After the intervention, the food security level of Bula District change from priority 2 (severely vulnerable) to priority 4 (moderately vulnerable). It means building human centered community based and local resources management become important in food security strategic in rural area especially in East Seram, Maluku, Indonesia.

The study focuses on analyzing the food self-sufficiency village program at household level in Indonesia. The before and after analysis and food and security composite analysis at household level are used as tools. It involved comparing the implication and impact between indicators before and after the implementation of policy. Quantitative data were used to compare major indicators and qualitative data for minor indicators. In general, the impact of the DMP Programme on the villages was positive. The level of poverty in each village has been significantly reduced by 8-40% after the introduction of the programme. Composite food security analysis at household level shows the positive impacts of DMP Programme implementation. This is shown by several indicators, including the rise of 4-7% availability, reduction in poverty by 8-40%, and decrease in people working fewer than 15 hours per week by 10-20%.

         The purpose of this study was to know the food security level of paddy farmers household in Tani Aman Urban Village, Loa Janan Ilir Subdistrict. The sampling method was proportional random sampling with a total samples of 40 respondents. The food security level of paddy farmers household was known by using descriptive analysis. The results of this study show the increasing production in the medium category with  total score of 204 and the average of 5.1, food reserve in medium category with  total score of 257 with average of 6.42, food aid in the low category with  total score of 244 with an average of 6.1.The food distribution  includes economic access  in the high category with a total score of 309 with an average of 7.72,  physical access in the high category with  total score of 476 with an average of 11.9, social access is in the moderate category score with total score of 312 with an average of 7.8. The indicator of food absorption  includes food security  in the high category with  total score of 592 with an average of 14.8, and  food diversification  in the low category with  total total of 183 with an average of 4.57.

Penggunaan media sosial sosial telah merambah ke semua lini layanan kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk di instansi pemerintah. Media sosial digunakan untuk mendukung implementasi program dan kegiatan di instansi pemerintah, yang kemudian berdampak pada kinerja individu di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi secara empiris dampak penggunaan media sosial terhadap kinerja individu di Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kota Magelang.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara kepada 40 (empat puluh) karyawan di Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kota Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi media sosial memiliki dampak positif pada peningkatan kinerja individu di Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan, yaitu sebagaimedia komunikasi (koordinasi) dan tempat untuk berbagi informasi secara aktual. Sementara beberapa dampak negatif penggunaan media sosial yang perlu diantisipasi berupa konsentrasi karyawan yang berkurang sehingga dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan pada penyelesaian pekerjaanThe use of social social media has penetrated into all lines of life services, including at government offices. Social media are used to support the implementation of programs and activities in government offices, which then have an impact on the performance of individuals in it. This studyaims to identify empirically the impact of the use of social media on the performance of individuals in Agriculture and Food Office, Magelang. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Data is collected by filling in questionnaires and interviewing with 40 (forty) officer in the Agriculture andFood Office. Research shows that the application of social media has a positive impact on improving the performance of individuals in Agriculture and Food Office, namely as a medium of communication (coordination) and a place to share information actually. While some negative impacts that need to be anticipated include reducing the concentration that can cause delay incompletion of work.

This research was conducted at Pegadaian Jalancagak Subang Regency. Pegadaian is one of the financial institutions that offers Logam Mulia investment services, one of which is called MULIA (Murabahah Logam Mulia For Abadi Investment). Product Mulia is a financing offer to customers for the purchase of gold bars produced by PT. Aneka Tambang (ANTAM). This study aims to determine how MULIA product provisions, the application of the murabaha contract on MULIA products and the impact of MULIA products for pawnshops and the community. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive analysis method. Data sources used include primary and secondary data. From the results of the discussion the researchers found that there were several provisions in the application of the MULIA product murabahah in Pegadaian Jalancagak that were not in accordance with the provisions of the Shari'a, including; first concerning the object of the contract or Marhun which was not raised or did not exist during the contract. Second, the sanctions that are permitted according to the Shari'a are applicable to customers who are capable but neglect or postpone delay of payment but do not apply to customers who are truly unable to pay, but in its application at Jalancagak pawnshop requires all customers to receive sanctions or pay fines if unable pay without exception. Third, in the application of sanctions / fines regarding funds generated from fines input as corporate income, which according to Shari'a provisions should be intended for social funds

This research aims to show the masculinity crisis experienced by a male character (a husband) due to the shift role of breadwinner in marriage in the short story "Huruf Terakhir" by Benny Arnas. This research is essential because it can demonstrate the impact of the wife's involvement to work in the public domain towards the husband's condition. This research is qualitative research by utilizing the concept of gender. Data collection techniques are carried out through document tracing on a short story "Huruf Terakhir" by Benny Arnas as the corpus.  The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The results showed that shifting role of breadwinner can cause a man (a husband) to experience a crisis of masculinity such as loss of independence, confidence, courage, assertiveness, and emotional control. The shifting role as breadwinner is also shown to open the opportunities for repression in women. Therefore, the research on the short story "Huruf Terakhir" is expected to contribute to the study of gender-sensitive literature, especially since it is able to show masculinity traits associated with the role of breadwinner can complicate men’s position and  potentially hinder women's freedom.

The research was conducted in Waimangit Village of Buru Regency with the objectives to analyze community food security planning, make projections for diversification of local food consumption and food security in Waimangit Village. The approach used is qualitative with the basic method of descriptive analysis. The results showed that, Local food consumption is still low with the level of diversification of food consumption is also still low, factors that affect the level of diversification of food consumption is, expertise in processing, number of household members and social interaction, There is no shift of rice consumption pattern to local food, local food consumption condition only occurs at certain age segmentation, Food security level generally belong to food vulnerable where household is long term plant based farmer
