Abstract: Lesson Study Model to Improve Students’ Achievement in the Instructions Process of Kinesiology Classes. This study aims to improve the quality of students’ kinesiology achievement in the Faculty of Sports Sciences, the Yogyakarta State University. The participants were 43 students attending Sports Science Courses. This study was an action research study consisting of two cycles. The data were analyzed using the descriptive technique, consisting of (1) description, (2) validation, and (3) interpretation. The first cycle showed that the quality of learning was still low. In the second cycle, there was an improvement after the CD with audio visual media was played. The learning process through kinesiology lesson study with a sports analysis increased students' understanding. Based on the results of the reflection and discussion on the action, learning through lesson study by preparing materials using audio visual media can improve the quality of kinesiology learning. Improving the quality of education can be started by improving the quality of teachers in teaching and professional behavior. Teacher upgrading and training is one form of the effort. The teacher coaching model to achieve the quality of learning in school is Lesson Study. Lesson Study is a "model of professional educator development through collaborative and sustainable learning learning based on the principles of collegality and mutual learning to build learning communities". The in-on-in training of lesson study implementation for madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers in the ministry of religion is an effort to improve the professionalism of madrasah teachers in managing learning. The training participants consisted of 30 madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers formed in 6 (six) groups according to grade level to carry out lesson study activities, among others: planning (plan), implement (do), and reflect (see). The final conclusion of the training participants increased their understanding of lesson study as an effort to improve the quality of learning. Abstrak Peningkatan mutu pendidikan dapat dimulai dengan meningkatkan mutu guru dalam mengajar dan berprilaku professional. Penataran dan pelatihan guru salah satu bentuk dari upaya tersebut. Model pembinaan guru untuk mencapai kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah adalah Lesson Study. Lesson Study adalah ”model pembinaan profesi pendidik melalui pengkajian pembelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip kolegalitas dan mutual learning untuk membangun komunitas belajar”. Pelatihan in-on-in implementasi lesson study bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah di lingkungan kementerian agama adalah upaya meningkatkan profesionalitas guru madrasah dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 30 orang guru madrasah ibtidaiyah dibentuk dalam 6 (enam) kelompok sesuai tingkatan  kelas melaksanakan kegiatan lesson study antara lain : merencanakan (plan), melaksanakan (do), dan mereflekasi (see). Simpulan akhir peserta pelatihan meningkat pemahamannya terhadap lesson study sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.

This study aims to improve the quality of learning in physics learning planning courses through the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) assisted by E-Learning through Lesson Study activities. This type of research was qualitative research through the stages of Lesson Study activities. Subjects in this study were the 5th-semester students who program 11 physics learning planning subjects in the 2018-2019 academic year in the Department of Physics Education, University of Papua. The research data was obtained through the student learning outcomes test instrument that was given after the submission of each topic of study, observation sheet of student activities, interview guidelines, documentation in the form of video recordings during open class implementation, and student response questionnaire. Data were analyzed through Rasch modeling with the help of the Winstep application to analyze student responses after learning. Lesson Study activities consist of three phases of activities, namely Plan, Do, and See. In the Plan stage discussions with the team of lecturers were held to develop Chapter Design and Lesson Plan. In the Do stage, the model lecturer based on the tools that have been prepared does learning. In the See stage, the reflection was done to find out weaknesses and strengths during learning which is then followed up on further learning. The results showed that student-learning outcomes increased student responses to good learning and learning atmosphere seemed very fun. Therefore, it can be concluded that through the implementation of PjBL assisted E-Learning through Lesson Study activities can improve the quality of learning in physics learning planning subjects.

<span class="fontstyle0">This study aims to improve quality of learning process through using write short and<br />improve students' ability through to write short stories using poetry media and SAVI<br />approach. Subjects in this study is students of class VI SDN Tanjung 3. Research object<br />of learning to write short stories in Indonesian Language. Data collection techniques<br />used in this study consist of (a) observation, (b)interview, (c)study of document,<br />(d)questionnaire, (e)tasks. Testing the validity of data is done by triangulation.<br />Approaches of analysing data which used in this research are descriptive qualitative and<br />descriptive comparative. The conclusions of this research can be known that the media of<br />poetry and SAVI approach can improve quality in learning process and ability to write<br />short stories in Class VI SDN Tanjung 3. From the results of the pre-action learning<br />process is still less than optimal and the average ability to write short stories 65.8. The<br />first cycle, which is when the learning process students are more enthusiastic and<br />average ability to write is 75.5. In second cycle, the quality of learning process has more<br />increased. Di perguruan tinggi, dosen memegang peran  sangat penting bagi kemajuan institusi dan pembentukan karakter mahasiswa. Namun, sudah bukan rahasia lagi banyak dosen mengabaikan tugas pokok mengajar.  Bagi sebagian besar dosen, tugas mengajar telah dijadikan prioritas kedua. Di sisi lain Hatten, dkk (2001) menegaskan bahwa satu masalah utama dewasa ini adalah sangat sedikit pendidik yang mengajarkan perilaku etis terhadap peserta didik. Makalah hasil penelitian ini akan mengungkap sejauh mana keteladanan dosen dan penerapan nilai-nilai moral selama perkuliahan Psikologi Olahraga dapat meningkatkan karakter kepatuhan dan kejujuran mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kerangka Lesson Study. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut dengan cara menyusun rancangan pembelajaran mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga yang bermuatan nilai-nilai moral yang disampaikan dosen selama proses pembelajaran, dan keteladan dosen, yaitu prilaku disiplin datang tepat waktu setiap akan memberi kuliah atau mengajar. A teacher's integrity, or lack thereof, is observed by students.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan dosen dalam wujud selalu memberi contoh datang tepat waktu dalam mengajar mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga dapat meningkatkan karakter kepatuhan mahasiswa, yaitu datang tepat waktu atau tidak terlambat dalam mengikuti perkuliahan. Begitu juga dosen yang menyelipkan nilai-nilai moral selama mengajar mata kuliah Psikologi Olahraga dapat memberi dampak terhadap terbentuknya karakter kejujuran mahasiswa, yaitu perilaku jujur atau tidak melakukan tindakan menyontek dalam ujian.Kata kunci: dosen, keteladanan, karakter, kepatuhan, kejujuran, mahasiswa THE LECTURER’S PATRONAGE AND THE INTEGRATION OF MORAL VALUES IN SPORT PSYCHOLOGY TEACHING AS A MEANS TO BUILD THE STUDENTS’ OBEDIENCE AND HONESTYAbstractThis research aims to  identify the impacts of lecturers’ patronage and the implementation of  moral values in  Sport Psychology subject on the  obedience and honesty character of the students of PJKR Study Program, Faculty of Sports Science,Yogyakarta State University. To achieve the objective and provide clearer direction, this research was conducted based on the Lesson Study framework. The action to solve the problem was performed by developing Sport Psychology Lesson Plan  containing  moral values  that the lecturer presented during teaching processes and the lecturers’ patronage through  punctuality in coming to class and discipline  in providing the lecture. The target of the action involved Class A Semester 5 students of PJKR  Study Program attending the  Sport Psychology subject. The result of this research indicates that the lecturers’ patronage  in terms of providing examples, i.e.  coming to class on time to teach the  Sport Psychology subject, is able to improve the students’ obedience, i.e. coming to lecture on time or not  late  in attending  the Sport Psychology subject. Moreover, the lecturer  that integrates the  moral values during the teaching of Sport Psychology subject is able to provide impact on the  students’ honesty character, i.e. honest behavior  or not  cheating during  examination.Keywords: lecturer, patronage, character, obedience, honesty, students

This study aims to determine the improvement of the quality of learning through the innovation-based class lesson study model school program. Research was conducted in three stages, namely: plan, do, see, for students in grades 7, 8, and 9. Techniques for collecting data through observation, and reporting. Data analysis was done in a qualitative, discrete manner. The results of the study showed the involvement of students, model teachers, teacher observers, Dispendik supervisors, committees and principals, parents / guardians of students and invitations from other schools were very active. Thus, improving the quality of learning through the innovation class based lesson study model school program has been very successful in improving the quality of expected learning.

Lesson study is a continuous activity that can be applied through study groups. The purpose of this service is to determine the quality of learning through lesson study activities. The method of implementing the activity is based on the three steps of lesson study activities namely plan, do and see. Planning is the starting point as a key to success in learning. The conclusion from this implementation activity that Lesson study, if it becomes a culture in a learning group, can create a good learning climate. Through ongoing lesson study activities, the quality of learning carried out by educators can improve as well.

Abstract: The Contributions of Problem Solving on the Improvement of Artistic Gymnastics Learning Outcomes. This study aims to improve the psychomotor skills in artistic gymnastics and cognitive skills of the students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PEHR), Faculty of Sports Sciences, Yogyakarta State University in the academic year of 2008/2009 through the problem-solving learning strategy. This was an action research study involving two cycles. The subjects were the students of the non-regular PEHR program. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive technique. The results showed that the learning approach to artistic gymnastics using the problem-solving learning strategy was capable of improving the psychomotor and cognitive skills indicated by the artistic gymnastics learning outcomes with a mean of 7.02. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mendeskripsikan persepsi dosen model dalam efektivitas menerapkan lesson study learning community (LSLC), serta proses monitoring dan evaluasi dalam pelaksanaan LSLC pada proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif. Informan ditentukan dengan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan pola interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana, meliputi: pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LSLC sangat efektif dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya kolaborasi antar dosen model dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, perkembangan tingkat keprofesionalan dosen dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih optimal. Selain itu, proses monitoring dan evaluasi oleh tim pengembang LSLC pada tingkat fakultas juga menambah keefektifan LSLC dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract: This research was conducted to describe the perception of model lecturers in the effectiveness of implementing the lesson study learning community (LSLC), as well as the monitoring and evaluation processes in implementing the LSLC in the learning process. This research using a qualitative approach. Informants were determined by purposive technique and snowball sampling. The data collection process was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The collected research data were then analyzed using the interactive patterns of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, including: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of LSLC was very effective in improving the quality of learning. This is evidenced by the collaboration between model lecturers in carrying out the learning process, the development of the professional level of the lecturers in implementing learning has increased significantly so that it has an impact on the quality of learning that is more optimal. In addition, the process of monitoring and evaluation by the LSLC development team at the faculty level also adds to the effectiveness of LSLC in improving the quality of learning.
