Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menderskripsikan strategi kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipasi dan dokumentasi. Responden penelitian bersifat snow-ball. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Creswell (2014). Keabsahan data digunakan kriteria kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan komfirmabilitas. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah strategi kepala sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa dengan filosofis kepemimpinan, keteladanan, kedisiplinan, kepemimpinan instruksional, kepemimpinan mutu, serta pemberdayaan guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Strategi guru adalah keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan sentuhan kalbu. Strategi orang tua dan masyarakat adalah komunikasi efektif dan kemitraan efektif. Kata Kunci: strategi, kepala sekolah, guru, masyarakat, karakter THE LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALS, TEACHERS, PARENTS, AND THE COMMUNITIES IN BUILDING THE STUDENTS’ CHARACTER Abstract: This study was aimed to analyze the strategies of the school principals, teachers, parents, and communitiesinbuilding the student character in elementary schools. This study used the qualitative approach using the case study type. The research instrumentswere researhers themselves. The data were collected using the in-depth interview, participation observation, and documentation. The respondents were selected using the snowball sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the model developed by Creswell (2014). The verification of the data was done through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. The findings showed that the strategies of the school principals in building the students’ character were the philosophy of leadership, modelling, discipline, instructional leadership, quality leadership, and teacher and staff empowerment. The strategies of the teachers were modelling, habituation, and through touching the heart. The strategies of the parents and communities were effective communication and partnership. This research aims to uncover and describe the best practices of the multicultural character value of Pondok Pesantren Ngalah Pasuruan. The approach used is qualitative-naturalistic, with Case study type (case study). Data consists of primary and skunder data. The informant is determined through purposive sampling technique. Snowball sampling. Data collected 1) in-depth interviews, 2) participant observations and 3) documentation studies. Analysis of data using descriptive technique of interactive model L) data reduction, 2) data presentation and 3) withdrawal conclusion/verification. The results of this study concluded that Best practices the value of multicultural characters in Pesantren Ngalah, Pasuruan is: (1) The value of religious characters, (2) The value of the human character is a core value that grows other values include; (a) The character of caring and the students ' familiosity; (b) The value of the Brotherhood character, (c) the character of affection, (d) egalitarian/the line of doctrine; (3) inclusive-pluralist characters; The value of an inclusive-pluralist character (open accepts differences). (4) Character value tolerance (TASAMUH); Tolerance value of students, including; (a) Tolerance in interfaith Association, (b) to say greetings to Non Muslims, (c) Non Muslims enter the mosque. (5) Luwas and Luwes (moderate) character values;  (6) Democratic character value, and (7) nationalist character value.

This study aims to investigate children behavior in playing online games. This is qualitative study, case study, it was explored any behaviours of children online games activity with used participant observation, in depth interview and used snowball sampling as sampling technique. The theory used in this study is a theory of Simulation, Simulacra and Hiperreality by Jean Baudrillard that explain online games create condition, consequences or results from creation of reality models and imagination which replacing reality itself where children reality can replaced by game reality. . This Study located at Caesar Game Centre inside Kampung Ngoresan, most children plays in there. The result of this study shows different behaviours between each children on playing online games because of Simulacrum,built in Point Blank game then it blurred reality of children lifeworld in the game until Hiperreality shaped.

This study aims to describe the strategy of principals, teachers, in the character formation of students in primary schools. The research approach used is qualitative with case study type. The research instrument is the researcher himself. Data collection using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. Research respondents are snow-ball. Data analysis technique using Creswell model (2014). Validity of data used criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability, and komfirmabilitas. The conclusion of the research is the principal's strategy in shaping the character of the students with the philosophy of leadership, exemplary, discipline, instructional leadership, quality leadership, as well as teacher empowerment and education. Teacher strategy is exemplary, habituation, and touch of heart. Parent and community strategies are effective communication and effective partnerships.

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the existence of indigenous knowledge of peasant society on farming management especially of rice land farming in The Village of Carebbu, Awangpone Sub-district, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province during April 2019. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and case study method with a sampling technique that used is purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Researcher use is an in-depth interview and analyzed by qualitative data analysis with the approach of the AGIL functional theory of Talcott Parson. This result shows if there is 8 indigenous knowledge that exists on peasant society from generation to generation on their farming management of paddy rice land, but in the middle of the green revolution, it shows that indigenous knowledge of peasant society is lost some, there are 2 of 8 indigenous knowledge has to begin to be left out. This is due to the thinking of the peasant society which began to change from irrational to rational.Key Words: Indigenous knowledge; farm society; green revolution.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the actual condition of the students of University of Rajshahi (RU) regarding drug abuse and addiction. Using case study method the research was conducted with four objectives: (a) to find out how respondents began drug abuse; (b) to discover the causes of their drug addiction; (c) to understand the process of their drug abuse; and (d) to find out the economic, social and health effects of drug abuse. Methods: Case study method was used in this research. Through snowball sampling 18 drug- addicted students of RU were selected as respondents. In-depth interview with a schedule was used to collect data from the respondents in January 2019. Results: Findings of the study show that the causes of drug addiction included curiosity, frustration, friends’ request, neglect from family and friends etc. The drugs which they usually abused were Yaba, Phensydyle, Ganja (Weed), Chuani etc. Their average monthly expenditure for collecting drugs was in between Taka 8,000-10,000. They collected those drugs from rickshaw pullers at different points within the campus and from Mizaner Mor, Budhpara slum and other places outside the campus. The respondents opined that drugs were available if sufficient money could be spent. The respondents had senior and junior fellow students and local boys as companions while taking drugs. Most of them faced physical problems after taking drugs, and some of them tried to get rid of this curse of drug addiction. Conclusion: The findings of this research show that the rate of drug addiction among the students of RU was quite alarming. Therefore, all stakeholders including the students, guardians, teachers, university authority, the law makers and law enforcing agencies, researchers, civil society, NGO’s and the state must come forward together to combat this formidable foe.

Life skill education is an education that provides basic supplies and training to learners about the values of life needed and useful for the development of everyday life. Research on integrated life skill education in enterpreneurship subject in SMP Cahaya Bangsa School aims to know what life skill orientation in Entrepreneurship subject and examine the extent of life skill education implementation in Enterpreneurship subject. The design of this study used qualitative research with case study type. A descriptive inductive approach is used to describe a case by understanding symptoms and meaning. Researchers use in-depth interview techniques, digging information with direct observation, and study documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher through three main components, namely, data reduction, display data, and data conclusion drawing. The results showed that the concept of life skill education is internalized in the entrepreneurship subject syllabus, then the teacher describes it in various learning activities such as washing activities, ironing activities, live in program, and market day. Evaluation done by teacher in assessing ability of life skill of student is by observing directly activity in enterpreneurship subject and student also given duty to write report result of activity live in.

This study aims to observe how local government financial management is in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic—in particular, observing how budgeting, administration, and accountability of the Riau Provincial Government regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used is a qualitative method with a type of case study. The data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation was carried out by carrying out source triangulation and technical triangulation. The informants in this study consisted of key informants, primary informants, and supporting informants. Key informants are the head of the budget, the head of the treasury, and the head of the accounting and reporting sub-section. While the primary informants and supporting informants were selected using the snowball sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data display data, and making conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic caused the Riau Provincial Government to refocus and reallocate the budget four times. At the administrative and accountability stages, there are problems with recording Unexpected Expenditures, namely the absence of technical guidelines regarding the administration of Unexpected Expenditures, determining spending limits for emergencies and urgency. Another problem is the absence of valid data for the distribution of aid funds for MSMEs affected by Covid-19 as well as valid documents in the recording of grant assistance from third parties. This research contributes to the government in making policies in financial management in a disaster emergency.Keyword: The Covid-19 Pandemic, Financial Management, Refocusing, Reallocation, Administration, Accountability AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengobservasi bagaimana pengelolaan keuangan Pemerintah Daerah dalam menghadapi Pandemi Covid-19 ini. Secara khusus mengobservasi bagaimana penganggaran, penatausahaan dan pertanggungjawan Pemerintah Provinsi Riau terkait Pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara medalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk meyakinkan keabsahan data, triangilasi dilakukan dengan melaksanakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci, informan utama dan informan pendukung. Informan kunci adalah Kabid anggaran, kabid perbendaharaan dan kasubid akuntansi dan pelaporan. Sedangkan informan utama dan informan pendukung dipilih dengan teknik snowball sampling. Analisis data dilakukan  dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data display data dan melakukan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Dampak Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan Pemerintah Provinsi Riau melakukan refocusing dan realokasi anggaran sebanyak empat kali pergeseran anggaran. Pada tahap penatausahaan dan pertanggungjawaban terdapat permasalahan pencatatan pada Belanja Tidak Terduga yaitu tidak adanya juknis tentang penatausahaan Belanja Tidak Terduga, penentuan batasan belanja untuk keadaan darurat dan mendesak.  Permasalahan lainnya yaitu tidak  adanya data yang valid untuk penyaluran dana  bantuan bagi UMKM yang terdampak Covid-19 serta dokumen yang valid dalam pencatatan bantuan hibah dari pihak ke tiga. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi kepada pemerintah dalam membuat kebijakan dalam pengelolaan keuangan pada keadaan darurat bencana. Kata Kunci :  Pandemi Covid-19, Pengelolaan Keungan, Refocusing, Realokasi, Penatausahaan, Pertanggungjawaban

There are several researches in Myanmese nevertheless they never concern Rohingya migrant workers. Because the ASEAN is going to become AEC in 2015, they can migrate freely in the region and National Treatment. The aim of this research is to study how AEC affects to Rohingya workers in Khon Kaen Thailand by qualitative research approach, sample selection with Snowball sampling, and in-depth interview, the limitation is interview only 11 sample. This study demonstrate awareness of AEC effects and find the workers have very less knowledge about AEC, in addition every Rohingya workers express that there is no effect from ASEAN community because they do not have Myanmese identity card and never be Myanmar nationality. Every migrant would not like to go back to Myanmar because there is not confident that the Myanmese government recognizes Rohingya as the Myanmese. In contrast, they hope the government’s merciful operations to provide citizenship as right as the one of Myanmese.

This study examines the gender inequality of female online motorcycle taxi drivers in the Grab Queen community in Malang City. Female online motorcycle taxi drivers in Malang City have problems from each individual who gets a case of gender inequality. The purpose of this study is to describe how the form of gender inequality that occurs in female online motorcycle taxi drivers in Malang City, especially in the Grab Queen Malang community. The research method used in writing this thesis is to use a qualitative method with a case study approach. The technique of determining the subject used snowball sampling technique. The location of this research is in the Grab Queen community, Malang City. The data collection used are interviews and documentation studies, data analysis techniques used by researchers are data reduction, data presentation, conclusing drawings or conclusions, and data validity. This study uses the concept of gender inequality, namely subordination, stereotypes, violence and double burden to classify the types of gender inequality cases and the theory used by researchers is gender functionalism from Miriam M. Johnson which consists of functions, roles, social structures, so as to achieve a balance to realize social order. From the results of theoretical analysis, there is an imbalance of roles between female and male drivers in the regulations made by partners and also the mindset of the community so that cases of inequality will easily occur among female online motorcycle taxi drivers. In this study, researchers want to examine the balance of roles to establish social order so that there is no opportunity for gender inequality.

Despite the benefits of marriage, there has been a rise in the number of single parent families, especially never married single mothers globally. This may bring about serious social problems as the consequences of children raised by single mother have been documented. Yet, little research has been conducted to find out why there is increase in the number of never married single mothers. Therefore, this study investigated and described the experiences of women who were never married but are bearing children and raising those children as single mothers. The study adopted the qualitative research method, utilizing in-depth interviews to collect data from consenting participants. The study location was Iwaya, Lagos, Nigeria, and the participants were selected using snowball sampling technique. Forty never-married single mothers were sampled and interviewed using an in-depth interview guide. The data were transcribed and content analysed. Some of the perceived reasons for the rise in the number of never married single mother identified include family background, sexual abuse, age, careless sexual behaviour and non-use of contraceptives, personal preference and perceived economic benefits. There is the need to educate women on how to prevent sexual abuse and also on proper use of contraceptive for those who may want to engage in sexual intercourse, but may not be ready to get married.
