Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber dan media pembelajaran IPS dengan menghasilkan sebuah modul dan implementasi proses pembelajaran yang  menjadi salah satu penggerak dalam meningkatkan ekoliterasi peserta didik dengan cara mendaur ulang kemasan produk konsumsi terutama dari kemasan botol plastik.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan (Research and Development) Borg dan Gall dengan subjek penelitian Mts Al-Hidayah Wajak, yang menghasilkan sebuah produk kreasi daur ulang  dari sampah botol plastik yang mengadopsi dari materi Kewirausahaan. Modul didesain agar peserta didik bisa mempraktekkan daur ulang sampah yang kreatif dan inovatif , dampak sampah plastik yang tidak didaur ulang bagi masyarakat dan solusi untuk mengatasinya, yang kedua adalah macam-macam kreasi dan inovasi daur ulang sampah plastik yang terdiri dari dua puluh satu kreasi sampah botol plastik dan langkah-langkah dalam membuatnya, dan yang terahir adalah kisah-kisah inspiratif yang berasal dari pengusaha sampah plastik.  Sumber dan media pembelajaran IPS  yang berupa modul yang telah dikembangangkan telah di implementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran berjalan sangat menyenangkan hal tersebut terlihat dari antusias peserta dalam mengikuti pembelajaran karena peserta terlibat langsung dalam proses pemanfaatan/mendaur ulang sampah botol plastik.DEVELOPING OF SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING SOURCES AND MEDIA TO IMPROVE ECOLITERACY OF PUPILS The research aims to develop social studies learning resources and media by producing a module and implementing a learning process that becomes one of the driving forces in increasing the eco-literation of students by recycling consumer product packaging, especially from plastic bottle packaging. This research method uses the development model (Research and Development) of Borg and Gall with the research subject of Mts Al-Hidayah Wajak, which produces a recycled creative product from plastic bottle waste that adopts entrepreneurship materials. The module is designed so that students can practice creative and innovative waste recycling, the impact of plastic waste that is not recycled for society, and solutions to overcome it, the second is various kinds of plastic waste recycling creations and innovations consisting of twenty-one waste creations plastic bottles and the steps in making them, and finally, inspiring stories from plastic waste entrepreneurs. Social studies learning resources and media in the form of modules that have been developed have been implemented in the learning process, the learning process is very pleasant, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the lesson because participants are directly involved in the process of utilizing and recycling plastic bottle waste.

Due to globalization and the impact of industrialization and urbanization, natural resources are wasted, and popular consumption leads to environmental waste. The problem of waste that deteriorates individual and social life is a prominent current issue. Recycling, described as the remanufacturing, production and employment of collected material, is an important solution to that problem. The present study aimed to determine the awareness of pre-service social studies teachers about the concept of environmental waste recycling and to analyze acrostic poems written by the participants. The study findings included the views of the pre-service social studies teachers. A semi-structured interview form was developed by the authors under expert supervision and employed to collect the views of the pre-service teachers. The pre-service teachers included in the study sample were assigned with simple random sampling technique and the study group included 162 pre-service social studies teachers. The descriptive survey model was employed in the study, the data were analyzed with content and descriptive analysis techniques to determine thematic codes. Furthermore, an acrostic poem authoring activity on the concept of recycling was conducted with the participants. The poems authored by the participants are presented as a category in a table in the findings section. The study findings revealed significant results on the recycling concept and processes. It was determined that the views of the participating pre-service social studies teachers reflected a high level of awareness on the concept of recycling and exhibited various perspectives on the implementation.

Abstrak: Guru merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Proses  pembelajaran harus ditunjang oleh fasilitas pembelajaran atau sumber belajar yang memadai serta didukung oleh kemampuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif karena endekatan ini cocok digunakan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang fenomena sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan wawancara. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) peningkatan mutu pembelajaran berbasis aneka sumber; (2) perncanaan pembelajaran berbasis aneka sumber belajar; (3) dampak peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Hasil penelitiannya (1) dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran sekolah melengkapi fasilitas atau sumber belajar yang memadai dan melakukan pembinaan guru-guru secara terus-menerus; (2) dalam perencanaan guru mengacu pada kurikulum khususnya silabus sebagai acuan utama dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah. Di dalamnya memuat materi, media, pendekatan, metode, dan penilaian; (3) pada tahun 2016-2017  banyak meraih prestasi baik tingkat Kabupaten, Madura, Jawa Timur, Nasional dan bahkan Internasional.   Kata Kunci: Mutu Pembelajaran, Sumber Belajar   Abstract: The teacher is one factors that determine the success of learning process. The learning process should be supported by learning facility  or learning resources that are adequate and supported by teachers ability and skills in learning implemention. This research used a descriptive approach because it is suitable for obtaining a deep understanding  of the social phenomenon. The methode was used in data collection are observation and interview.The purpose of this study is to know: (1) the improvement of leaning resources based learning; (2) the planning of learning resources various learning resources; (3) the impact of learning gualities improvement. The results of his research (1) in improving the quality of school learning complementary facilities or learning resources adequate and continuous mentoring the teachers; (2) in teacher planing refers to curriculum especially syllabus as the main reference in preparing lesson planning and adapted to school conditions. Inside determines the material, media, approaches, methods, and assessments; (3) at 2016-2017 a lot of achievement both district level, Madura, East Java, National and even international.   Keywords: Quality of Learning and Learning Resources

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS biologi berbasis masalah yang layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan LKS biologi berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menurut model Borg & Gall. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi LKS, angket karakter peduli lingkungan, soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi penilaian produk daur ulang limbah dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS biologi berbasis masalah layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah dilihat dari hasil penilaian pada aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, LKS biologi berbasis masalah efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa.Kata Kunci: LKS biologi berbasis masalah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, karakter peduli lingkungan Developing Problem-Based Biology Worksheet to Improve Problems Solving Skills and Environment Care Character AbstractThe purposes of this research are to produce a proper problem-based biology worksheet for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling and to know the effectiveness of using the problem-based biology worksheet on the students’ problem solving skill and environment care character. This research is research and development model according to Brog and Gall The data were collected through questionnaire of worksheet and environment care character validity, the test of problem solving skills, observation sheet of assessment in waste recycling product and observation sheet of learning process. The results of the research showed that problem-based biology worksheet was appropriate for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling, in terms of the contain, the language, the presentation, and the graphic of the worksheet were included in were good category, problem-based biology worksheet was effective to increase the student problem solving skill and caring environment care character.Keywords: problem-based biology worksheet, problem solving skill, environment care character

Physics is a branch of natural science that studies natural phenomena and their changes. Earthquakes are one of the natural phenomena that often hit parts of Indonesia, especially the city of Padang. Earthquakes have an impact on the sustainability of society. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the e-book on integrated Physics disaster mitigation materials based on discovery learning. Research and Development / R&D is the method used in this research. Research and development methods are used to produce products and test these products. The validity questionnaire is an instrument used in this study. This validity questionnaire includes five aspects, namely content feasibility, presentation feasibility, language feasibility, graphic feasibility, and media feasibility. Earthquake disaster mitigation needs to be integrated into the Physics e-book considering that Indonesia is a region prone to earthquakes. So that the development of an integrated Physics e-book with valid discovery learning-based earthquake mitigation material is carried out. E-book Integrated physics of valid discovery learning-based earthquake disaster mitigation materials can be used in the learning process in schools, to reduce the impact caused by earthquake disasters.

Plastic waste is a serious problem for the survival of all creatures on Earth. Recycling is one solution to reduce the negative impact of environmental pollution caused by plastic waste. A lot of plastic waste that pollutes the Earth comes from plastic bottle waste (PET). There had been many studies that discussed the use of plastic bottle waste (PET); however, this research used the plastic bottle waste (PET) as a geocell for subgrade reinforcement. To this date, the use of plastic bottle waste as geocell is still rare. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding geocell of plastic bottle waste on the subgrade using a capping layer that had a low bearing capacity. This research was expected to reduce the impact of environmental pollution due to plastic bottle waste, and be an alternative solution for additional reinforcement in the capping layer. Therefore, it could increase the ultimate bearing capacity and reduce the thickness of the cover layer on subgrades that had a CBR value below 5%. The results of the analysis using the Plaxis program showed that the geocell from plastic bottle waste could be used to save the use of capping layer materials by up to 65%.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool that can help to quantify the impacts of different processes to facilitate comparison and decision making. There are many potential methods for managing plastic waste, but it can be difficult to determine which methods are preferable in terms of environmental impact. Suitable existing LCA studies are identified through a screening process and the methodologies used and their outputs are compared. When undertaking an LCA, the researchers must define their scope and select their parameters, according to their aims and context, which leads to a wide variation in the approach taken. In this study, six parameters have been considered to analyze research progress in these fields regarding LCA, i.e., goals and scope, functional units, impact assessment categories, system boundaries, geographical context, and uncertainty analysis. These studies include the similar type of different studies considering plastic waste recycling, each taking a different approach to defining the system boundaries, revealing how the decision to include or exclude factors such as transport can have a significant impact on the outcomes. Additionally, compared to these similar studies on mixed-plastic waste management, different available options are used to quantitatively compare the impact outcomes, revealing how the context and parameter selection can affect the results. This review aims to highlight the prospect of LCA during the development of a waste management framework as an efficient waste recycling tool and recommend a research gap for the development of an improved management framework in the future.

  The adequate learning resources as support for student learning activities was one of the factors supporting the learning process successful. The use of textbooks as a source of learning did not support thinking activities, especially students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The textbooks so far only emphasize the understanding of the concept while the students' mathematical reasoning abilities were less noticed. This research intends to develop student worksheets that are valid, practical and effective in developing mathematical reasoning abilities and can be accessed via the internet. The research model used is Research and Development (R & D). To see the effectiveness of the product carried out an experiment. The results showed that through the learning assisted students worksheets that integrated the internet, the average of students' mathematical reasoning abilities were increased.

The problem in this study is that there are many educators who are only slaves to the curriculum, where in doing their learning in class, educators do not provide meaningful learning that only focuses on textbooks and without utilizing the surrounding environment as a source of learning. Though the task of the teacher in learning is not limited to the delivery of information to students only, but according to the progress and demands of the times, teachers must understand various effective learning models in order to guide students optimally. Mulyasa (2009, p.21).According to Komalasari (2011, p. 12), the learning process and learning of social studies should be influenced by environmental factors that become environmental inputs and instrumental input is a factor that is intentionally designed to support the teaching and learning process and the output that you want produced. One source of social studies learning that utilizes the surrounding environment is by visiting places that are interesting and can be linked to social studies learning material. This study aims to determine the utilization of  Kampung Seni Jelekong as a social science learning resource. The approach used is the approach to research and development (research and development) refers to the 4D model with the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate , but in this study only until the third stage is develop. Data collection techniques by means of documentation studies, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis process in this study is done by sorting and organizing data . The results of the study show that Jelekong Art Village is suitable for use in social studies learning activities through learning tools in the form of social studies learning modules.

The low competence of Social Studies knowledge possessed by students due to lack of active students in the learning process. This is one of the reasons this research was conducted. This study aimed at examining the impact of Tat Twam Asi based Role-Playing learning model on the mastery of Social Studies competence. This was a quasi-experiment study and the design was an on-equivalent post-test only control group. The population in this study were all grade V of  Gugus IV elementary school Buleleng Sub-district, Buleleng regency, amounting to 5 classes with a total of 172 students. The samples were students of  SD Negeri 1 Banyuasri as an experimental group with a total of 35 students and SD Negeri 5 Banyuasri as a control group of 32 students determined by applying group design random sampling technique. Data on the competence of Social Studies knowledge were collected by using multiple-choice tests. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics are t-tests polled variants were applied in analyzing them. After analyzing the data, the t-count is 8,99 while the t-table is 3.99, so the t-count is greater than the t-table. This shows that there are differences in the mastery of IPS knowledge competence between the experimental group and the control group. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that Tat Twam Asi based role play learning model had a significant impact on the mastery of Social Studies knowledge competence. This model can be chosen by the teacher as an alternative in the learning process activities to achieve the expected learning objectives.
