This study was aimed at determining the results of virtual laboratory implementation in the introduction of quantum physics in improving the generic proficiency of prospective teacher students. The research method used was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. This design uses the determination of equivalent subjects between the experimental group and purposive control. This learning module consists of 2 types, namely computer program aided module that display the visualization of quantum physics symptoms and conventional learning modules. This study was carried out on a teacher training institution in Bandung, West Java. The research subjects were the sixth semester students of Physics Education in the Subject of Quantum Physics, year 2014/2015. The sample in the experimental group consisted of 15 students, while the control group consisted of 24 students. The experimental group students received the learning of quantum physics with a virtual laboratory, while the control group received conventional learning. The result shows that the use of virtual laboratories in the introduction of quantum physics is able to improve the generic skills of students.IMPLEMENTASI LABORATORIUM VIRTUAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDAHULUAN FISIKA KUANTUM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAHIRAN GENERIKAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil implementasi laboratorium virtua dalam pembelajaran Pendahuluan Fisika kuantum dalam meningkatkan kemahiran generik mahasiswa calon guru. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Desain ini menggunakan penetapan subjek setara antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol secara purposif. Modul pembelajaran ini terdiri dari 2 jenis yakni modul yang mempergunakan program komputer yang menampilkan visualisasi gejala fisika kuantum dan modul pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di LPTK di Kota Bandung Jawa Barat dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa Semester VI Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika pada Mata Kuliah Fisika Kuantum Tahun Akademik 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian dalam kelompok eksperimen terdiri dari 15 orang mahasiswa. Kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 24 orang mahasiswa. Mahasiswa kelompok eksperimen menerima pembelajaran fisika kuantum dengan laboratorium virtual. Kelompok kontrol menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan laboratorium virtual dalam pembelajaran pendahuluan fisika kuantum dapat meningkatkan kemahiran generik mahasiswa.

Abstract. The education curriculum addressed the science learning which involves learner in the scientific process in order to find a product by promoting the scientific attitude. This idea has encouraged the researcher team to design an instructional which combines the project based learning model and the experiment method to train the 5M skills for students. The research subjects are the 6th semester students of physics education study program of the teacher training and educational sciences faculty of Lambung Mangkurat University (FKIP ULM) in the academic year of 2016/2017. The research used posttest only control group design. Learning effectiveness was gained from students’ project evaluation and posttest. The research result showed that students’ project was in good category with the mean score of 4.09. The students’ achievement has reached the individual mastery as big as 100%. It can be concluded that the combination of project based learning model and experiment method is effective to train the students’ 5M skills for the physics experiment course. Keywords: Project based learning, experiment method, 5M skills. Abstrak. Kurikulum pendidikan menghendaki pembelajaran sains yang melibatkan peserta didik dalam proses ilmiah untuk menemukan sebuah produk dengan mengedepankan sikap ilmiah. Hal ini mendorong tim peneliti untuk merancang pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan project based learning dan metode eksperimen yang diharapkan mampu melatihkan  kemampuan 5M bagi mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 Pendidikan Fisika FKIP ULM pada tahun akademik 2016/2017. Desain penelitian menggunakan postest only control group design. Data efektivitas pembelajaran didapatkan dari evaluasi proyek mahasiswa dan postest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  proyek mahasiswa berkategori baik dengan skor rata-rata perolehan sebesar 4,09. Selanjutnya hasil belajar mahasiswa berhasil mencapai ketuntasan individu sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan project based learning dan metode eksperimen efektif untuk melatihkan kemampuan 5M mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Eksperimen Fisika. Kata Kunci: Project based learning, metode eksperimen, kemampuan 5M.

ABSTRAKMedan magnet ELF merupakan gelombang elektromagnetik dengan frekuensi sampai 300 Hz dan tergolong sebagai radiasi non ionizing. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain randomized subject post-test only control group design, dengan pembagian dua kelompok subjek penelitian dipilih secara acak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan medan magnet ELF .terhadap nilai pH buah anggur hitam. Dalam penelitian ini ada dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen, dimana kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan medan magnet  ELF intensitas 300μT dan 500μT selama 60’ dan 120’ untuk masing-masing intensitas. Analisa data nilai pH buah anggur menggunakan SPSS 24 yaitu uji kruskal wallis. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data didapat bahwa medan magnet ELF intensitas 300μT dan 500μT  berpengaruh terhadap nilai pH buah anggur hitam. Nilai pH kelompok kontrol lebih tinggi dari kelompok eksperimen. Hal ini disebabkan karena intensitas di bawah 500μT menekan pertumbuhan mikroorganisme pembentuk asam didalam buah angggur hitam. Kata kunci: medan magnet ELF; analisa data; pH. ABSTRACTThe ELF magnetic field is an electromagnetic wave with a frequency of up to 300 Hz and is classified as non-ionizing radiation. This study used a randomized subject post-test only control group design, with the division of two groups of research subjects randomly selected. This study aims to determine the effect of exposure to ELF magnetic fields on the pH value of black grapes. In this study, there were two groups, namely the control and experimental groups, where the experimental group was treated with an ELF magnetic field with an intensity of 300μT and 500μT for 60 'and 120' for each intensity. The data analysis of the pH value of grapes used SPSS 24, namely the kruskal wallis test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the ELF magnetic field with the intensity of 300μT and 500μT had an effect on the pH value of black grapes. The pH value of the control group was higher than the experimental group. This is because the intensity below 500μT suppresses the growth of acid-forming microorganisms in the black grapefruit. Keywords: ELF magnetic field; data analysis; pH.

This study aimed to determine the ability of inquiring in the class using an inquirybased virtual laboratory. The research design of this study was based on quasiexperimental research using the pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that the inquiring abilities for the experimental class had increased as a result of the learning process. A significant value was obtained based on the t-test for the experimental class. In the control class, there was an increase in the process of asking questions, making hypotheses and conclusions and communicating. A significant difference was found in the inquiring abilities of students in the classroom using the inquiry-based virtual laboratories as compared to students who had not used the virtual laboratory.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of using virtual laboratory in guided inquiry learning on students’ mastery concept of heat material.  This study is quasi experiments with posttest only control group design. There were 58 respondents in this study which were divided into two group; experimental group and control group. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The results showed that experimental groups’ mastery concepts significantly differed from the control group. It can be concluded that the use of virtual laboratory in guided inquiry learning model affects students’ mastery concepts of heat material.

Abstract The purpose of this article is to find out the differences in student learning outcomes using the sociodrama method and how much increase in al-kalam maharah in students who apply the sociodrama method in learning Arabic which has several maharah as their basic competencies. This research is an experimental research, where the research subjects are students of Senior High School. Of the population at the school studied two homogeneous groups were taken as samples, namely Class XI of Religion 1 as an experimental class and Class XI of Religion II as a control group. This research uses Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design as its research design. The research results in this article are based on the results of statistical analysis which shows that the Posttest T-test between the control group and the experimental group obtained the value of T-count = -4.503 <T-table = 2.037 (Ha accepted) which means there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the control group with experimental group. Whereas the T-test of the pretest and post-test of the experimental group resulted in the value of T-count = 13,348 <T-table = 2,035 (Ha accepted), which means that there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of the experimental group students. Keywords: Strategy, Sociodrama, Maharah Al-Kalām   Abstrak Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode sosiodrama dan seberapa besar peningkatan maharah al-kalam pada siswa yang menerapkan metode sosiodrama dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang mempunyai beberapa maharah sebagai kompetensi dasarnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimana subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Dari populasi di sekolah yang diteliti diambil dua kelompok homogen sebagai sampelnya, yaitu kelas XI Agama 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI Agama II sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan Randomized Pretest- Posttest Control Group Design sebagai desain penelitiannya. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini didasarkan pada hasil analisis statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa uji T- Posttest antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen didapatkan nilai T-hitung = -4,503 < T-tabel = 2,037 (Ha diterima) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen. Sedangkan uji-T nilai pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen menghasilkan nilai T-hitung = 13,348 < T-tabel = 2,035 (Ha diterima), yang artinya terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen. This study aimed to determine the effect of the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with the outdoor approach towards students’ ability in mathematical representation. It was quasi-experimental research consisting of two experimental classes and one control group. It used a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was the students of SUPM Tegal. Sampling was conducted using cluster random consisting of three classes. The first experimental group was carried out by implementing the learning model of CTL with the outdoor approach. The second experimental group was carried out by implementing a learning model of CTL, while the control group was conducted by implementing a conventional learning model. The research instrument was a 7-point mathematical representation test in the form of an essay. The results of the research were 1) the learning model of CTL with an outdoor approach affected the improvement and achievement of the students’ ability in mathematical representation and was higher than CTL and a conventional learning; 2) the improvement of the students’ ability of representation in the groups of CTL with outdoor approach, CTL, and conventional learning respectively was in high, medium, and low category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi media <em>virtual laboratory</em> dalam model pembelajaran <em>P</em><em>redict-Observe-Explain</em> (POE) terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi titrasi asam-basa. Penelitian menggunakan desain <em>quasi experimental</em> dengan <em>pretest-posttest control group design</em> yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 12 Semarang. Objek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas eksperimen dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model POE dan pemanfaatan <em>virtual laboratory </em>disertai demonstrasi sedangkan pada kelas kontrol dilakukan pembelajaran dengan model POE disertai demonstrasi. Kedua kelas kemudian melakukan praktikum riil di laboratorium Kimia. Pengamatan dan analisis dilakukan pada hasil belajar yang terdiri dari 3 aspek yaitu aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis (KBK) dari kedua kelas tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada pembelajaran POE berbantuan <em>virtual laboratory</em><em>.</em> Kontribusi <em>virtual laboratory</em> terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 16,99%, sedangkan kontribusi <em>virtual laboratory</em> terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 12,66%.

Abstrak             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Picture and Picture dan Model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-D kelompok eksperimen 1 menggunakan model Picture and Picture dan VIII-C Kelompok eksperimen 2 menggunakan model Sugesti Imajinasi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Picture and Picture lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP.   Kata Kunci: model picture and picture, model sugesti imajinasi, teks puisi.   Abstract This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture Model and Imagination Suggestion Model in learning to write poetry for eight-grade students of Junior High School. The population in this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. The samples of this study were the class VIII-D students as in the experimental group 1 using the Picture and Picture and VIII-C as in the experimental group 2 using the Imagination Suggestion model. The design used in this research is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the Picture and Picture model was more effective than the Imagination Suggestion model in learning to write poetry for the eighth-grade students of Junior High School.

This study aimed to find the effect of using monopoli game media towards learning result on social science major at fourth grade of SDN Gugus 15 Kota Bengkulu. This research is quantitative, using experiment method, with The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The instrument used was test sheet in multiple choice form. The test was taken two times, before and after giving treatening to the sample class. The sample in this research was the students in IVB of SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu (control group) and the students in IV of SDN 104 Kota Bengkulu (experimental group). The t value gotten was (3,668) > ttable (1,668). The result of t value was higher than t table, so it can be concluded that there are significant effect of using monopoli game media towards learning result on social science major at fourth grade SDN Gugus 15 Kota Bengkulu.

This research aims to know the effect of group investigation learning on student’s science process skill based on their IQ in SMAN 1 Mataram for eleventh grade students. This is a quasi experimental study using pretest postest control group design design. Pretest was taken to get data of student’s IQ. Posttest was also conducted to measure student’s science process skill. Sample was taken using nonprobability sampling from the population of eleventh grade student in SMAN 1 Mataram.The sample was two group of student each from two class, class XI sains 6 and as experimental group and class XI sains 5 as control group. The average os Student’s IQ on experimental group and control group were equal, both at 112. Learning processes were 12 x 45 minutes long in total. The experimental group showed better average score on posttest where they scored 82.40 on average, while control group only scored 74.83 on average. This value is statistically significant, at p = 0.007, less that 0.005. This result shows that implementation of group investigation can increase student’s science process skill.Keywords: Group investigation, science process skill, intelligence Quotient (IQ)ABSTRACT
