Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti efektivitas metode guided discovery dalam pembelajaran sains terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen (quasi-experimental research). Subjek uji efektivitas pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 22 peserta didik kelas B1 TK ABA Kembaran dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 23 peserta didik kelas B2 TK ABA Kembaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes lisan peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode guided discovery dalam pembelajaran sains, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada domain kognitif aspek “mengingat” pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Terdapat perbedaan hasil akhir antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen setelah guru menggunakan metode guided discovery dalam pembelajaran sains dengan p 0,05 kemudian terjadi pula peningkatan yang signifikan dengan p = 0,000. AbstractThis study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the guided discovery method in science learning towards cognitive development in children aged 5-6 years. This type of research was quasi experimental research. The effectiveness test subjects in the experimental class were 22 students in class B1 TK ABA Kembaran and in the control class were 23 students in class B2 TK ABA Kembaran. Data collection used observation sheets and oral tests of students. Data analysis technique used independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that by using the guided discovery method in science learning, there were significant differences in the cognitive domain of “remembering” aspect of children aged 5-6 years. There were differences in the final results between the control class and the experimental class after the teacher used the guided discovery method in science learning with p 0.05 then there was also a significant increase with p = 0.000.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan lompat gawang terhadap tinggi lompatan spike pada permainan bola voli siswa ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimen (eksperimen semu). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa selisih pretest  siswa setelah mengikuti program latihan lompat gawang di atas lapangan sebanyak 16 kali pertemuan dapat menunjukan peningkatan terhadap tinggi lompatan spike siswa. Dengan populasi 30 siswa dan sampel 30 siswa (total sampling). Instrument penelitian ini berupa tes lompatan spike untuk mengetahui tinggi lompatan spike. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t.hasil. Dari hasil penelitian di peroleh thitung =10,321 jika di bandingkan dengan nilai ttabel= 1,696. Maka nilai thitung>ttabel ini berarti ada pengaruh dari latihan lompat gawang terhadap tinggi lompatan spike siswa di MAN 2 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci : Lompat Gawang, tinggi lompatan spike.                                                                AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of goal-jump training on high jump spikes on extracurricular volleyball games in MAN 2 City of Bengkulu. The method used is an experimental research method with a quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental). The results of the study showed that the pretest difference of students after joining the goal-jumping training program on the field as many as 16 meetings can show an increase in the height of the student's jump spike. With a population of 30 students and a sample of 30 students (total sampling). The research instrument was a jump spike test to determine the height of the jump spike. The data analysis technique uses the t-test results. From the results of the study obtained tcount = 10,321 if compared with the value t table = 1,696. Then the value of tcount> t table means that there is an effect of the goal jump training on the high jumps of student spikes in MAN 2 City of Bengkulu.Keywords: Jump goal, high jump spike.

Based on the researchers abservation on the field, the student’s of SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara shill have lack of basic skill of basketball. This research aimed to explain the different effect between sirkuit exercise method and convensional method toward the increasing of student basic skill of basketball of SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara. This research is quasi experimental research the population of this research was 32 student. The sampling techique that used in this research was jenuh smpling techique. So that 32 student’s was choosen. the test used in this research were driible zig-zag, passing, under basket. Which aimed to know the student’s basic skill of basketball at SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara. Analysis technique that was used in this recearch was t-test. The result of data analysis showed that (1) sirkuit exercise method can increase the student basic skill of basketball at SMA Negeri 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara (tobserved 16,77 > ttable α=0,051,75) (2) convensional method can increase the student’s basic skill of basketball at SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara (tobserved 9,25> ttable α=0,05 1,75) (3)  there is significant differences betwenn sirkuit exercise method with convensional method toward student’s basic skill of basketball at SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara (tobserved  3,50 > ttableα=0,051,75).

Abstract: Many elements that affect the mastery of dribbling skills, such as agility andspeed. Agility and dribbling speed can be improved by skipping plyometrics workout andside hop. The aimed of this study was to determine the effect of skipping exercise andhop side of the soccer player dribbling skills U16-17 in SSB PSDM Blitar. This researchmethod using quasi-experimental research design. This quasi-experimental design usedin two groups of subjects namely the skipping and side hop with the conventional group.The dribbling test were used as a research instrument. The data analysis technique usedis the analysis of variants (one-way ANOVA). The subjects were soccer player U16-17SSB PSDM totaling 24 players. Results from this study have been analyzed by usinganalysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) with significance level of 0.05. Of the testobtained crieteria (F) 7,30 > 4,30 on results posstest skipping and side hop group, thenfor the conventional group obtained criteria (F) 0.16 < 4.30 for difference between groupsand skipping and side hop with a conventional group acquired criteria (F) amounted to23.32 > 4.30. The conclusion of the research is, skipping exercise and side hop gives abetter effect than conventional exercise to increase soccer player dribbling skills U16-17SSB PSDM Blitar.Key words: experiment, skipping and side hop, dribblingAbstrak: Menggiring bola merupakan salah satu teknik dasar sepakbola yang wajibdikuasai oleh semua pemain sepakbola. Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya efektivitas pendekatan inkuiri dan model jigsaw terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas 4 SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan quasi experiment research. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil uji-t yang telah diperoleh t-hitung sebesar 4,453 dan taraf signifikansi 0,000. Hasil analisis data untuk mengetahui t-tabel dapat diketahui bahwa t-tabel yang diperoleh sebesar 2,021. Karena t-hitung > t-tabel (4,453 > 2,021) dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima yaitu terdapat efektivitas pendekatan inkuiri dan model jigsaw terhadap minat belajar tematik siswa kelas 4 SD.Abstract: The purpose of the study is to determine whether or not the effectiveness of inquiry approach and jigsaw model on the interest of 4th grade students. Type of research is experimental research with quasi experiment research. The data analysis technique uses t-test with Independent Sample t-Test. The result of t-test that has been obtained t-counted 4,453 and significance level 0,000. Result of data analysis to know t-table can be seen that t-table obtained equal to 2,021. Because of t-count>t-table (4,453>2,021) and significance 0,000<0,05 then Ha accepted, there is effectiveness of inquiry approach and jigsaw model on the interest of 4th grade student.

Program latihan Dumbell-Thera Band kepada atlet panahan Kabupaten Banyumas di teliti karena ada beberapa pelatih dan atlet masih belum mengerti mengenai tujuan diberikannya latihan Dumbell- Thera Band. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latian dumbell-thera band terhadap daya tahan otot lengan dan akurasi memanah pada atlet panahan Kabupaten Banyumas. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Disain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan rancangan “One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan pengukuran akurasi dengan cara memanah jarak 30 meter dan daya tahan otot lengan menggunakan alat ukur Holding Bow Test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet maupun pengurus panahan Kabupaten Banyumas yang berjumlah 85 orang dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t paired sample t test. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan sebelumnya dapat diperoleh nilai uji t pada akurasi memanah diketahui nilai t hitung (9,869) > t tabel (1,80) dan uji t pada Daya Tahan Otot Lengan diperoleh nilai t hitung (8,812) > t tabel (1,80). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh latihan dumbell-thera band terhadap daya tahan otot lengan dan akurasi memanah pada atlet panahan Kabupaten Banyumas. EFFECTS OF DUMBBELL-THERA BAND EXERCISE TOWARDS THE ARM MUSCLE ENDURANCE AND ARCHERY ACCURACY IN ARCHERY ATHLETES AbstractThe Dumbell-Thera Band training program for Banyumas Regency archery athletes was examined because there are several trainers and athletes who still do not understand the purpose of the Dumbell-Thera Band training. This study aims to determine the effect of dumbbell-thera band exercises on arm muscle endurance and archery accuracy in archery athletes in Banyumas Regency The design of this research is experimental research. The method used is quasi-experimental research. The design used in this study using the design of "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument used was a test and measurement of accuracy by arching a distance of 30 meters and endurance of the arm muscles using a measuring instrument Holding Bow Test. The population in this study were 85 athletes and administrators of Banyumas Regency with 12 people as the sample in this study. The data analysis technique used paired sample t test. The results of previous studies and discussions can be obtained t test value on archery accuracy known t count value (9.869)> t table (1.80) and t test on Arm Muscle Endurance obtained t value (8.812)> t table (1.80 ). Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of dumbbell-thera band exercises on arm muscle endurance and archery accuracy in Banyumas Regency archery athletes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan shadow langkah berurutan dan bersilangan, serta perbedaan diantara keduanya terhadap meningkatkan kelincahan footwork pada atlet bulutangkis   PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan desain two group pre-test post-test design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 22 atlet putra. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes rangkaian olah kaki yang dikemukakan oleh Tohar. Teknik analisis data pada uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: pertama, ada pengaruh latihan shadow langkah berurutan terhadap kelincahan footwork atlet PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta dengan  nilai t sebesar -4,5 dan signifikansi hitung sebesar 0,001. Kedua, ada pengaruh latihan shadow langkah bersilangan terhadap kelincahan footwork atlet PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta dengan nilai t sebesar -4,667 dan signifikansi hitung sebesar 0,001, dan ketiga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara latihan shadow langkah berurutan dan shadow langkah bersilangan dalam peningkatan kelincahan footwork atlet PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. Hal ini berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari nilai t sebesar -1,353 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,191. The effects of shadow practice using sequential steps and crossing steps to footwork athlete agility AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of shadow practice with sequential steps and crossing step of footwork athletes agility PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta, knowing the difference of shadow practice with sequential steps and crossing steps in improving footwork athletic agility PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. This research is quasi-experimental research, using two-group pre-test post-test design. Sample of this study is 22 son athletes. Instruments in this study using a test foot circuit presented by Tohar. Data analysis technique of hypothesis using t-test. The results show that: first, there is the effect of shadow sequential step exercise on footwork athletes agility PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. It is proved by obtaining t value equal to -4,5 with significance count equal to 0,001. Second, there is the effect of the crossing steps shadow practice on footwork athlete agility PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. This is proved by obtaining t value equal to -4,667 with significance count equal to 0,001. And the third there is no significant difference between shadow sequential steps and shadow crossing steps in increasing agility footwork athletes PB Wiratama Jaya Yogyakarta. This is based on data obtained from the value of t -1.353 with significance is 0.191.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CSM strategies on comprehension reading skills in classes V Padokan 2 Elementary School. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. In this study the subjects of the study were VA class students as the control class and V C as the experimental class with 28 VA and VC class students. Quantitative data analysis technique used is the calculation of independent sample t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, researchers can conclude that CSM strategies are more effective than conventional methods of reading comprehension learning. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test obtained by the value of Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) 0.014 <0.05. CSM strategy is an effective learning strategy seen from the average value of the experimental class posstest which is 81.61 higher than the control class average value of 72.96.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation type against scince generic skills of students. This research was a quasi-experimental. The population in the study was a grade VIII MTS Nurul Falah NW Lajut with 36 students. Sampling was derived by random sampling where the 16 students of VIII A as on experimental class and VIII B as a control class with 20 students.Based on pretest data analysis, obtained an average value of 31,25 experimental class and control class was 42,2.Posttest analysis showed an average grade of 65,75 experimental and control class was 61,6.  The data analysis technique was t-test. It show t- test= 5,80 and t-table = 1,67. Because of  t-count is greater than the  t- table, it can be concluded that there were the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation generic against science skills of student.

Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan Pendekatan Saintifik, mendeskripsikan keefektifan Pendekatan PMRI, dan mendeskripsikan manakah yang lebih efektif diantara Saintifik dan PMRI ditinjau dari prestasi, minat, dan percaya diri. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Babadan Ponorogo Jawa Timur Indonesia dan secara acak terpilih kelas VIIB dan VIIC sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes dan non-tes, dengan instrumen meliputi soal tes prestasi, angket minat dan percaya diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dan Hotelling’s Trace. Hasil penelitian pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan Saintifik efektif ditinjau dari prestasi, minat, dan percaya diri. Pendekatan PMRI efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan percaya diri, tetapi tidak efektif ditinjau dari minat. Saintifik dan PMRI sama-sama efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan percaya diri, akan tetapi ditinjau dari minat Saintifik lebih unggul daripada PMRI.Kata kunci: pendekatan Saintifik, pendekatan PMRI, prestasi, minat, percaya diri The Comparison of the Effectiveness of Scientific and PMRI Approaches Based on the Achievement, Interest, and Self-Confidence of Students of Grade VII AbstractThis quasi-experimental research aims to describe the effectiveness of Scientific Approach, describe the effectiveness of PMRI approach, and describe which is more effective between of Scientific and PMRI Approaches in terms of the achievement, interest, and self-confidence. The population in this research were students of class VII SMPN 2 Babadan Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia, and randomly selected VIIB and VIIC classes as a sample. The data collection techniques were a test and non-test, the instrument covers about mathematics achievement tests, questionnaires for students’ interest and self-confidence. The data were analysed using the t test and the Hotelling's Trace test. The results show that at the significance level of 0.05 the Scientific Approach is effective in terms of students’ achievement, interest, and self-confidence, while the PMRI Approach is effective in terms of learning achievement and self-confidence, but it is not effective in terms of interest. The Scientific and PMRI Approaches are equally effective in terms of learning achievement and self-confidence, but in terms of interest the Scientific Approach is superior to the PMRI Approach.Keywords: Scientific Approach, PMRI Approach, mathematics achievement, interest, self-confidence

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of collaborative learning using open-ended approach and open-ended approach in terms of problem solving skillss students. This study is a quasi-experimental research with the entire population of ten graduate science students of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta which consists of four classes. The research samples were randomly selected from the four existing classes, in order to obtain class X MIPA 3 to be given collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and class X MIPA 1 to be given open-ended approach. Data analysis technique consists of one sample t-test used to investigate the effectiveness of collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and open-ended approach. The results show that collaborative learning model using open-ended approach is effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. But, open-ended approach isn’t effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
