There are 2 problems which become the urgency in this research; student activity unit for badminton is a new sports medium, thus it needs improvement in training forms, one of the training form is the improvement of smash basic skill. The aims of this research are to discover the influence of fullover training towards badminton smash basic skill , and also applying the research and training process which correspond with Covid 19 health protocol. This research is an experiment type. Independent variable (badminton smash basic skill) dependent variable (fullover training). Sampling technique used saturated sample wich is all the population of badminton student activity unit at UM Palopo which are 20 atlethes. Test instrument used smash basic skill test. Time and place corresponded with WFH( work from home), research processes (pre test, treatment, post test) were monitored online through Zoom meeting and UM Palopo E-learning . The results of hypothesis test found that t-count 3,647 bigger than t-table 1,833 at the 5% significancy or 0,05. according to the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that Fullover training influence the badminton smash basic skill.

The success and failure of color matching are directly related to work efficiency, sleep, personality and so on. Color matching course can not only cultivate students' creative thinking, but also improve their aesthetic ability and expression ability. This paper studies the teaching methods of art color design in Higher Education in the new era. Color matching course is an important part of the teaching and training of art design major, and it is also an essential basic skill for every environmental art student. Through the research on the meaning, types and characteristics of color, as well as the concept and category of color matching, combined with the experience and lessons in the teaching process, this paper demonstrates various teaching methods of indoor color design in practical teaching. The experimental research shows that the method proposed in this paper can improve the teaching efficiency of art color design.

This study deals with active listening as a basic skill of efficient communication used by teachers in their communication with their students’ parents. Two hundred and twenty-two teachers and thirty-three principals of primary education school units participated in this empirical study. Teachers mention that they use active listening in their communication with parents with attention and observation, they accept parents’ words, they maintain a neutral position and they show empathy to share their reflections and feelings. Moreover, during the use of active listening as an active skill of efficient communication between teachers and parents, teachers mention the contribution of their verbal intervention. In this way they ask open-ended and closed-ended questions for clarifications, and they repeat the parent’s main views without expressing their personal opinion. During their verbal positioning, teachers first mention to parents the good characteristics of their children, then they focus on their learning weaknesses.

Aim: The aim of this study is to develop the movement skills of primary school students (1st and 2nd grades) in Erzurum city center with planned games and movement education applications. Method: 38 students (24 males + 14 females) living in the central campus of Erzurum province and selected according to the convenience sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, participated in the research. Students participated in specially prepared game and movement training programs between 60-90 minutes 3 days a week during the summer period. In the first stage of the study, basic skills were determined by applying basic skill tests which is flamingo balance, catching the thrown ball, standing long jump, throwing a tennis ball, running 20 meters straight, hitting the ball with the foot, vertical jumping and galloping as a pre-test. At the end of the 2-month (8 weeks) period, basic skill tests were applied as a post-test and their status was compared. Findings: According to the results of the research, a positive (p<0.05) improvement was observed in the initial basic skill tests which applied flamingo balance, catching the thrown ball, standing long jump, throwing a tennis ball, running 20 metetraight, hitting the ball with the foot, vertical jump and gallop. Result: As a result, it was concluded that the game and special movement training program, which is made regularly for primary school 1st and 2nd grade students, contributes positively to their basic motor skills. Key Words: Primary school, games, movement training, skill development.

Same-different visual reasoning is a basic skill central to abstract combinatorial thought. This fact has lead neural networks researchers to test same-different classification on deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs), which has resulted in a controversy regarding whether this skill is within the capacity of these models. However, most tests of same-different classification rely on testing on images that come from the same pixel-level distribution as the testing images, yielding the results inconclusive. In this study we tested relational same-different reasoning DCNNs. In a series of simulations we show that models based on the ResNet-50 architecture are capable of visual same-different classification, but only when the test images are similar to the training images at the pixel-level. In contrast, even when there are only subtle differences between the testing and training images, the performance of DCNNs drops substantially. This is true even when DCNNs' training regime is augmented with images from new versions of the same-different task or through multi-task learning on the test images. Furthermore, we show that the Relation Network, a deep learning architecture specifically designed to tackle visual relational reasoning problems, suffers the same kind of limitations than ResNet-50 classifiers.

Background: Urethral catheterization is a vital basic skill which not learnt properly will lead to numerous complications. The aim of the study is to assess the knowledge and practice of urethral catheterization procedure among the nursing students. Methods: This study was conducted by a questionnaire to all the nurses in our hospital. It includes precautionary methods, knowledge of urethral catheterization procedure and the necessity for the demonstration of the procedure to the nurses. Results: A total of 120 nurses were included in the study. During training program, all were able to define and observed urethral catheterization. Overall, 19% did not perform the procedure as undergraduates and only14% passed >10 urethral catheterization. On assessing the steps, 61% described the steps involved in catheterization and 87% listed the possible complications of catheterization. Meanwhile, 93% revealed the need for practical demonstration of procedure during their training phase. Conclusions: With regards to urethral catheterization, poor practical experience was observed in nurses. An attempt should be formulated to enhance the supervised urethral catherization training programme conducted for nurses, in order to deliver preventable complications.

This study aims to describe the understanding and process of implementing literacy in early childhood. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Lhokseumawe. Ten teachers were selected using purposive sampling technique from five kindergartens; Pertiwi Kindergarten, Bunayya, Safiatuddin and Ukhtani. The results showed that: (1) the understanding of ECE teachers in Lhokseumawe interpreted the concept of literacy as a basic skill that children must have in reading, writing, and speaking. Introduction of literacy for early childhood as initial preparation to master reading, writing and speaking skills so that early childhood becomes more prepared to face education at the next level, Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, (2) The process of implementing literacy in ECE institutions is generally carried out in various forms of play activities and children's daily habit and using various forms of methods and media or educational toys.

Learning media is quite important to be used by teachers in learning process. Through the media, teacher can easily deliver lessons, and in the other hand the media helps student comprehend lessons easily. Even more, media encourages student’s independence in learning. This research aims to produce a multimedia-based learning media, lectora, for basic skill of teaching lesson. The research is conducted to students of Social Science Ed-ucation Major who joined Social Studies Micro Teaching Class in June-September 2019. In developing the product, researcher used ADDIE develop-ing model. Data in this research is quantitative, in form of assessment by validator. Meanwhile, qualitative data is in the form of suggestion and comments by material and media expert validator. The result of all validation is a multimedia-based learning media, lectora, for basic skill of teaching les-son, which is appropriate and interesting to use and share to others
