<p class="PRIMAJUDULArtikelEnglish">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media film animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah <em>quasi experiment </em>dengan desain <em>pretest-posttest control group desain.</em> Hasil penilaian menunjukkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,92 dan postes 29,51, kelompok eksperimen I memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,95 dan postes 31,73, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen II memperoleh rata-rata skor pretes 27,75 dan postes 31,33. Peningkatan rata-rata skor yang diperoleh kelompok kontrol sebesar 1,59. Peningkatan rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen I sebesar 3,78 dan peningkatan rata-rata skor kelompok eksperimen II sebesar 3,58. Hasil uji t kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen I diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. Hasil uji t kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen II menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. Hasil <em>Anova </em>menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 &lt; 0,05. This study was a quasi-experimental employing the pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the study show the control group attained a pretest mean score of 27.92 and a posttest mean score of 29.51; experimental group I attained a pretest mean score of 27.95 and a posttest mean score of 37.73 while experimental group II attained a pretest score of 27.75 and a posttest mean score 31.33. The mean gain score attained by the control group was 1.59. The mean gain score attained by experimental group I was 3.78, and that by experimental group II was 3.58. The results of the t-test for the control group and experimental group I showed a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The results of the t-test for the control group and experimental group II show a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The result of ANOVA shows a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. Based on the data, it can be concluded that there are effects of the use of animation film media on the narrative text writing skill of Grade V students of ESs.</p> <strong>Keywords: </strong>animation film media, text writing skill<br />

Objective of this research was to find out significant difference of reading achievement between students The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significant improvement in students' skill in writing narrative texts after they were taught by using Genre-Based Approach. The method of this study was experimental design. The experimental group received a genre-based approach while the control group received the conventional method. The population was the eleventh-grade students of SMA Ethika Palembang. The sample was 60 students which was selected by cluster random technique . The data collection was a writing test. The data were analyzed by using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. It indicated that there was a significant difference in writing skill between the students who were taught using GBA and those who were not.  Based on the result of data, it was interpreted that all aspects of writing are increased after taught by using GBA Approach. The best-achieved writing aspect was style and quality expression. It assumed the use of words: phrases, sentences, and paragraphs in expressing the ideas were clear and effective in writing style. Further, the study provided evidence for the effectiveness of using the genre-based approach in improving the students' writing skill in narrative text.

The study was aimed to evaluate the effect of sunlight on vitamin D and calcium status among the college girls, aged 18 – 22 years. One hundred and fifty girls were selected out of which 45 with vitamin D deficiency were considered for experiment. The participants were divided into three groups of 15 each: Experimental I - curd supplementation, exposure to sunlight and nutrition education; Experimental II - exposure to sunlight and nutrition education and Control group with no intervention. Anthropometric measurements, blood haemoglobin, serum vitamin D and calcium were analysed before and after supplementation for 50 days. In the experimental group I, there was a mean increase of 3.22 ng/ml of vitamin D and was significant at 1% level and in the experimental group II the increase was 1.03 ng/ml (significant at 5% level). There was a mean difference of 1.57 ng/ml in the control group which was not significant. The mean initial calcium level in the experimental group I was 9.33 mg/dl and the final value is 9.67 mg/dl and the increase was significant at 1% level. The experimental group II had a mean initial calcium level of 9.36 mg/dl and the mean final value of 9.56 ml g/dl. The mean difference of 0.05 mg/dl was noted in serum calcium before and after supplementation in the control group. The experimental group I showed a positive correlation of 0.035 between vitamin D and sunlight whereas in experimental group II and control group there was a negative correlation of 0.045 and 0.072 respectively. It can be concluded that sunlight had an effect on vitamin D status and the calcium level of the participants further highlighting that sunlight exposure is an effective method of improving the vitamin D status.

The objective of this research was intended to know whether or not using outdoor learning strategy can improve the students’ writing skill at SMA Negeri 1 Maiwa Kabupaten Enrekang. This research applied quasi experimental method with one class of experimental group and one class of control group. The researcher used pre-test and post-test in collecting data. The research population was the students of tenth grade they were X.1 class and X.2 class consist of 46 students, so the researcher took random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by finding the mean score. For collecting the data, the researcher used one instrument namely descriptive writing test to measure the students’ writing ability. The result of this research showed that the student’ writing description was low classification in pre-test with the mean score 64.6 for experimental class and the mean score of control class was 60.8, and it was average categorized. However, after doing the treatment through outdoor learning strategy they got good classification for Experimental group and still average classification for control group in post-test; their mean score had increased up to 78.4, for Experimental and 69.9 for control group. The data was analyzed by using t-test and the result showed that the t-test value 4.037 was higher than t-table value 2.021. It meant that there was a significance difference of students’ writing ability before and after the treatment through the application of outdoor learning. It concluded that outdoor learning strategy can be used in improving writing description of the students.

This thesis is focused on the investigation of the effect of applying animal cartoon pictures on students’ achievement in writing narrative text. This study aims to find whether applying animal cartoon pictures significantly affect the students’ writing achievement or not. The data in this study were obtained by administering a written test. The population was the 2015/2016 first year (grade XI) of SMA Swasta Nusantara Lubuk Pakam and 66 students were taken as the sample by using random sampling. The sample was divided into two groups, experimental and control groups. The experimental group was taught by applying animal cartoon pictures while the control group without animal cartoon pictures (x = lecturing). The data were taken the scores from the pre-test and post-test to both experimental and control groups. These data were analyzed by using t-test. The result of computing the t-test obviously showed that t-observed is higher than t-table (5.21 >1,67) with the degree of freedom 64 (df =N-2) at the level significance 0,05 one tail test. It showed that the application of animal cartoon pictures significantly affected the students of SMA Swasta Nusantara Lubuk Pakam achievement in writing narrative text.

The aim of this study was to know the effectiveness of the use of alphabet cards game as interesting tool to explain vocabularies and it make it easier to remember their meanings. This study belongs to the quasi experimental research and presents pre-test, post test and to investigate the effect of using alphabet cards game on vocabulary mastery of commercial business administration students. The participants were the students from commercial business administration students at the third semester (N=54) of State Polytechnic Bengkalis and divided into two groups. Both groups were taught vocabulary, however, the experimental group students who are exposed to alphabet cards game and the controlled group students who received conventional method. Pre-test and post-test were given to both experimental group students and controlled group students. The score of the vocabulary tests were compared through independent sample t-test. The mean value of pre-test of experimental class was 61.35, while the control class was 52.23. After learning using alphabet card games in experimental class the mean value obtained in post-test was 78.85, while in control class was 59.04.  The improved of learning outcomes can be seen from the level of significance was 0.000 and it was lower than t test 0.000<0.05.  It means that the hypothesis null is not accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the score of the students in learning vocabulary between the experimental group and control group was significantly different. The experimental group students who learned vocabulary using alphabet cards game had increased their vocabulary mastery.

The effect of fiber rich product on child hood obesity studied with 60 sample which were collected randomly among 10-12 years and categorized into 2 groups i.e, experimental group and control group. Experimental group further categorized into three groups i.e, supplementation with exercise (n=15), only supplementation group (n=15), only exercise group (n=15) and control group consists of (n=15).Anthropometric, and diet survey conducted as parameters. A fiber rich product was prepared and supplemented for 2 months to the selected subjects and it consists of whole Bengal gram, whole green gram, green peas, barley and jaggery. Positive results were obtained in three experimental groups. Significant decrease observed inweight, and BMI, Total cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL, VLDL significant increase observed in HDL in group I II and III. The results were (51.60-48.26kg, 24.7-23.1, 195.2-152.3 mg/dl, 168.2-145.0 mg/dl, 52.2-54.13 mg/dl, 109.4- 69.4mg/dl, 33.6-28.7mg/dl) in group I, In group II the results are (50.3-49.86kg, 23.7-23.4, 168.6-161.0mg/dl, 145.4-129.6mg/dl, 44.2-45.2 mg/dl, 95.3-90.0mg/dl, 29.1-28.3mg/dl).In group III the tesults aere (50.7-49.6kg, 24.5-23.9, 143.2-139.3mg/dl, 139-134.5mg/dl, 38.2-38.7mg/dl 76.8-74.1 mg/dl, 25.6-28.1mg/dl) .From the results it was clear that when compared to group II and III group I has shown better results.

Determining which forms of mineral feed additives can increase farm animal productivity is a key area of research. This study assessed the mineral composition of ruminal fluid and the effectiveness of calcium and phosphorus used by animals after the introduction of finely dispersed particles (FDP) of SiO2 (group I) and FeCo (group II) with a hydrodynamic radius of 109.6 ± 16.6 and 265 ± 25 nm, respectively. The deposition and use of calcium and phosphorus in the body of the experimental animals exceeded the control values. In group I, 30.8% more calcium was deposited (p ≥ 0.05), and in group II, the value was 30.3% (p ≥ 0.01). In the experimental groups, the calcium utilization rate was 27.3% higher in group I (p ≥ 0.05), and 28.2% higher in group II (p ≥ 0.01) compared to in the control. Phosphorus deposition was 34% higher (p ≤ 0.01) in experimental group I and 6% higher in experimental group II, compared with the control. Group I had a high utilization rate of phosphorus from the feed (with a 29% difference compared to the control). Comparison of the experimental groups revealed that the introduction of SiO2 FDP promoted an increase in the concentration of silicon, phosphorus, and calcium in the ruminal fluid. The introduction of FeCo FDP was accompanied by a decrease in the concentration of iron and cobalt in the ruminal fluid. Thus, the use of feed additive in finely dispersed form in the diet of animals was accompanied by an increase in the use of calcium and phosphorus by the animal’s body, which is advisable when intensifying milk and meat productivity. This study tried find the students’ improvement in listening achievement after having taught by using the shadowing technique. The method used was a quasi-experimental that involved two groups, namely the control group and experimental group. The population of this study was all the tenth graders of SMA Negeri 3 Unggulan Kayuagung with a total number of 198 tenth graders. Purposive sampling method was applied to select the sample involved 72 tenth graders. In collecting the data, try out the test was used to get the desirable questions that would be used in the pretest and posttest to both groups in the control and experimental group. To verify the hypothesis, the normality and homogeneity of the data were firstly analyzed before being continued to be analyzed by using a t-test. Based on the result of data analysis in an independent sample t-test, there were some findings found. First, the mean score of a posttest (75.56) in the experimental group was higher than the pretest (69.03) in the control group. Secondly, the value of tobtained was 2.77 at the significant level of p<0.05 in two-tailed testing with df = 70, the critical value of ttable was 1.99. Since the value of tobtained was higher than ttable, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the research hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, it showed that the shadowing technique could improve the tenth-grade students’ listening achievement at SMA Negeri 3 Unggulan Kayuagung.

This quasi-experimental study involves the experimental and control group which consist of 60 students in first year of SMA Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang   2019/2020 academic year.  The reading test is used to collect data to find out do the students can achieve significant result in reading test using Text-based Character. Based on the result the mean score of the experimental group pre-test was 72.67 and classified into good classification, while the control group was 69.63 classified into good. The mean score of the post-test after treatment for the experimental group was 82.43 (very good) while the control group was 76.53, (good) classification still.  The researcher found that the T-table is higher than the t-test (α) (1.659<2.021). It means that there is a significant difference in the pre-test of the control and experimental group, while in post-test of an experimental and control group, the researcher finds that the T-test is higher than the alpha and previous score in the the pre-test (α) (3.089>2.021). The degree of freedom is 58. This study reveals that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. This is means that the use of Text-based Characters can improves students' reading skills in significant way.

The problem of this research is whether the application of cooperative learning method is effective in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at grade VII at the topic of round numbers. The objective of the research is to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at the topic of round numbers at grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Baubau. This research is descriptive quantitative by applying quasi experimental design. The sample taken consisted of 54 students which is each group consisted of 27 students. The instrument used in this research is test. The result of the research show that (1)The mean score of students learning in Math in experimental group before treatment is 56,48 with standard of deviation is 18,65 and after treatment is 83,70 with standard of deviation is 15,54. (2)The mean score of students learning in Math in control group before treatment is 56,67 with standard of deviation is 17,26 and after treatment is 73,51 with standard of deviation is 17,58. (3)Based on the mean score of students result in learning who is taught through those model of learning and seeing the result of statistic inferential of t test shows that learning through cooperative learning method is more effective to reduce students anxiety in learning Math.
