Era  globalisasi  telah  mengubah  tatanan  kehidupan  sosial  dan  budaya  masyarakat  lokal.  Semula  kehidupan  masyarakat  terikat  kuat  pada  nilai-nilai  dan  kearifan  lokal  yang  hidup  dalam  masyarakat.  Nilai-nilai  tersebut  menjadi  pedoman  hidup.  Maja  Labo  Dahu  adalah  falsafah  budaya  Bima Nusa Tenggara Barat yang mengajarkan tentang rasa takut pada Tuhan, dan rasa malu pada  sesama manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan konsep pendidikan karakter maja  labo dahu dalam kebudayaan Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan  pendekatan analisis konten. Sumber data penelitian yaitu Maja Labo Dahu yang merupakan budaya  lokal masyarakat Bima. Dari analisis konten terhadap falsafat budaya tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa  nilai-nilai yang ada pada Maja Labo Dahu mengandung pendidikan karakter bagi masyarakat. Perlu  ada suatu konsep yang komperehensif dalam pembelajaran tentang filosofi Maja Labo Dahu ini. Nilai- nilai yang terkandung  di  dalamnya  yaitu ketaatan  dan ketundukan kepada Tuhan serta rasa malu  melakukan tindakan amoral. Maja Labo Dahu harus diwujudkan sebagai shcool culture, family culture,  dan social culture. Trias pendidikan tersebut sebagai tempat konservasi kearifan lokal Maja Labo Dahu. CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN “MAJA LABO DAHU” IN PEDAGOGY  The  era  of  globalization  had  changed  the  social  and  cultural  life  of  local  communities.  Initially, people's lives were strongly tied to local values and wisdoms that lived in the community.  These values had  become  guidliness of  life.  Maja  Labo  Dahu is the  philosophy of the  Bima culture,  West Nusa Tenggara which teaches fear of God and shame of fellow humans.  The purpose of this  study was to describe the  concept of character education for  Maja Labo Dahu of Bima culture. This  research  used  a  qualitative  descriptive  method  with  content  analysis  approach.  The  data  source  is  Maja Labu Dahu which is the local culture of the Bima community. From the content analysis of the  culture philosophy, the results show that the values in Maja Labo Dahu contain character education for  the community. There needs to be a comprehensive concept in learning about the philosophy of Maja  Labo Dahu. The values contained in it are obedience  and submission to God and shame  to commit  immoral acts. Maja Labo Dahu must be manifested as shcool culture, family culture, and socio-culture.  The educational triad is a place for the conservation of local wisdom of Maja Labo Dahu.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi: (1) nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam petetah-petitih Sunan Gunung Jati; (2) pemanfaatan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam petatah-petitih Sunan Gunug Jati untuk menerbitkan dongeng dan fabel pembentuk karakter positif pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa kumpulan petatah-petitih Sunan Gunung Jati. Terdapat 43 nasihat yang tertulis dalam buku Kesusastraan Cirebon karya Untung Rhardjo. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, peneliti menarik simpulan bahwa (1) semua petatah-petitih Sunan Gunung Jati yang berjumlah 43 memiliki nilai pendidikan karakter yaitu, religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. (2) Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam petatah-petitih Sunan Gunung Jati dapat dijadikan sebagai materi dalam buku pengayaan berupa kumpulan fabel sebagai pembentuk karakter positif untuk memperkaya imajinasi dan mengembangkan literasi peserta didik.KATA KUNCI: nilai pendidikan karakter; petatah-petitih. EXPLORATION CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUE IN PETATAH-PETITIH SUNAN GUNUNG JATI ABSTRACT: This research aims to explore: (1) the values of character education contained in the petetahs of Sunan Gunung Jati; (2) utilization of the value of character education in the quotes of Sunan Gunug Jati to publish fairy tales and fables that form positive character in children. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the data source in the form of a collection of Sunan Gunung Jati slabs. There are 43 pieces of advice written in the book Kesusastraan Cirebon by Untung Rhardjo. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the researcher concludes that (1) all 43 pieces of Sunan Gunung Jati have character education values, namely, religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationality, love of the country, respect for achievement, friendly/ communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care for social, and responsibility. (2) The values of character education in the quotes of Sunan Gunung Jati can be used as material in an enrichment book in the form of a collection of fables as positive character builders to enrich the imagination and develop literacy of students.KEYWORDS: character education value; petatah-petitih.

This study aims to reveal values in Serat Madu Tata Kramireflected in the philosophy of Joged Mataramand its relevance to character education. The data source was Serat Madu Tata Krami, K.P.H. Brongtodiningrat’s private collection. The work is in the form of macapat songs, written in Javanese using the Javanese alphabet in the Mataram style (the modernJavanese). This study employed the qualitative descriptive method. The findings show that the values in Serat Madu Tata Kramican serve as basic values for character education. The values are related to expectation, advice, suggestion, and belief that struggling for truth and virtue will always succeed. The teaching in Serat Madu Tata Krami cannot be separated from the philosophy of Joged Mataram, which holds the gallant values to faceall life problems using the philosophy of sawiji, greget, sengguh,and ora mingkuh.

This research is based on the development of feminism values in the community. In a patriarchal environment, women have a low position compared to men. Women are subordinated in various fields of life, such as in the fields of education, social affairs and economics. This study aims to describe the values of feminism contained in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a feminist literary criticism approach. The research method used is content analysis with data collection techniques read and record. The data source in this study is the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. Based on the results of the research, in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah there are values of feminism which include: (a) the value of feminism in education, (b) the value of feminism in the social field, and (c) the value of feminism in the economic. Abstract This study aims to (1) describe and explain the colonial hybridity Dorodasih novella by Imam Budhi Santosa, and (2) to describe the value of character education at Dorodasih novella by Imam Budhi Santosa. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to describe the hybridity and the educational value of the character in the novella Dorodasih of Imam Budhi Santosa. The data in this study of words, phrases, sentences contained in Dorodasih novella by Imam Budhi Santosa, published by Reader Literature LKIS Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques used in this study is a non-interactive technique. Mechanical noninteractive done by intensive reading of the novella and make record actively with content analysis. The validity of the data used to use data triangulation to collect the same data. In a sense the same or similar data will be valid truth when used several different data sources. This research is aimed to know meaning and Feminism in Sylvia Plath’s Poems. The objectives of this research were to find out the general meaning and detailed meaning and to find out kinds of feminism in poems. This research used qualitative descriptive method using content analysis as the research method. This research used reading and taking note as collecting the data, and technique of analysis data in this research are reading the whole poems, interpreting poems, and making the conclusion. The data source of this research were taken from Sylvia Plath’s poems, they are; Daddy, Lady Lazarus, and Last word. The result of this research were findings showed that there were 64 data contained, 59 data in general meaning and detailed meaning in poems and there were 5 data in kinds of feminism in poems. This research concluded the kinds of feminism, they are Liberal Feminism, Radical Feminism, Psychoanalytic Feminism, Marxist Feminism, Socialist Feminism, Multicultural Feminism, Eco feminism, and Postmodern feminism, this research also concluded the kinds of feminism in the poems, they are; poem Daddy (Radical feminism, Marxist feminism, Socialist feminism), poem Lady Lazarus (Marxist feminism), poem Last word (Marxist feminism).

Uma Lengge building is traditional building in Bima District West Nusa Tenggara which functions as the residence of Mbojo tribe and place to store food. The study aims to analyze the characteristics and relation of Uma Lengge buildings with the social and cultural life of Maria Village. The approach used in this study is archaeological approach with qualitative descriptive method. The study began with collecting data through literature study, direct observation, and interviews. The trapezoidal part of the roof with legs, has two pieces of crossing each other at each end of the ridge with bamboo material. The door leads to Mecca. The front part of the house may not be faced with another houses. Uma Lengge has three main parts such as the foundation, the first floor and second floors. The building of Uma Lengge has links with social values such as the value of mutual cooperation, value of hospitality, value of deliberation, value of helping and cultural values in Ampa Fare ceremony and inter dowry ceremony. Bangunan Uma Lengge merupakan bangunan tradisional di Kabupaten Bima Nusa Tenggara Barat. Bangunan ini berfungsi untuk tempat tinggal masyarakat suku Mbojo sekaligus tempat menyimpan bahan makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik serta keterkaitan bangunan Uma Lengge terhadap kehidupan sosial dan kebudayaan masyarakat Desa Maria. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan arkeologi dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, pengamatan secara langsung di lapangan, melakukan wawancara untuk data penelitian melalui informan. Diperoleh data pada bagian atap bangunan berbentuk trapesium sama kaki serta memiliki dua buah wanga yang saling menyilang pada setiap ujung bubungan atap dengan bahan bambu. Bagian pintu bangunan arah hadap mengarah ke Mekah, bagian depan bangunan tidak boleh berhadapan dengan bagian depan bangunan di sekitar tetapi bertolak belakang terhadap bangunan lainnya. Bangunan Uma Lengge memiliki tiga bagian utama seperti bagian pondasi, lantai satu dan lantai dua sekaligus atap. Bangunan Uma Lengge memiliki keterkaitan dengan nilai sosial kehidupan masyarakat Maria seperti; nilai gotong royong; nilai silahturrahmi; nilai musyawarah; nilai tolong menolong dan keterkaitan pada nilai kebudayaan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Maria seperti; upacara Ampa Fare dan upacara mengantar mahar.

Culinary literature is often associated with cooking or cooking, even though there is an implicit meaning from every literature. There is advice contained in stories about food or food. The K13 curriculum that is being applied in Indonesia is referred to as a character education based curriculum. The application of character education requires a more attractive means for students to be interested, including using culinary literature. The Drizzle Novel in the Arc De Triomphe by Nunik Utami contains stories about foods that contain moral messages. The goodness found in the Gerimis novel in the Arc De Triomphe of Nunik Utami's work is honesty, help, and responsibility wrapped in stories about culinary. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source in this study is Drizzle in the Nunik Utami Arc De Triomphe. The process of collecting data uses the method of reading, and taking notes. After the collected data is then analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study explained that the Gerimis novel in the Arc De Triomphe of Nunik Utami's work could be used as a means of developing character education in schools.

This research entitled “The News Report of Metro TV Reporter: The research of effective sentence”. The aim of this research was to find out the description, error, and percentage of effective and ineffective sentence in the news report of Metro TV reporter. The used theory refer to some ideas from the experts, those are Keraf (1980), Razak (1986), Sugono (2001), Putrayasa (2014), and Agency of Language Development and Coaching (2014). The used method to collect the data in this research was observation method, then the data was analyzed with qualitative descriptive method, quantitative method, and agih method. Method of presenting analyzed data that used in this research were formal and informal method. Data source in this research was from twelve videos of news report of Metro TV reporter in 2018. The result of this research showed that Metro TV reporter's understanding of the use of effective sentences reach 30, 22% from 12 news reports. This is proven by the discovery of 97 ineffective sentences out of 139 sentences. The error of ineffective sentence in news report of Metro TV reporter was divided into four kinds, those were the accuracy of information 7 sentences (5.03%), stiffness 6 sentences (4,32%), efficiency 48 sentences (34.53%), multiple errors and plural 36 sentences (25.90%). The total percentage of the error ineffective sentence as a whole was 69.78%. Based on this percentage, the highest frequency of errors was in the aspect of efficiency.

This study aimed to determine the structure and function of healing and charm spells in Makarti Jaya village, Banyuasin District. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data was 22 healing and charm spells which are taken from three informants. The data analysis used was content analysis. The results of this study indicated that not all spells mention a name component because some spells do not have a name element but still do not reduce the magical value of the spell, for a name is not a measure of whether the spell is effective. In the component of the opening greeting, The suggestions received in the analyzed spell are aimed at making the spell look pleasing. In the objective component, all spells have the same goal, which is to captivate the opposite sex. Whereas the closing element of all spells uses words from Arabic such as laillahailallah muhamadarasulullah. From the analysis of the seven healing spells and fifteen charm spells, it showed that the spell has a different structure and function according to the verse contained in the spell.
