This study aims to explore the implementation of vocational learning in the new normal era related to the content, assignment forms, class management, and describe teacher innovations and hope. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach with a research instrument is a questionnaire. The questionnaire was given to 46 respondents consisting of mechanical engineering vocational teachers from several regions in Indonesia. The questionnaire consists of two categories, namely statements with an option and statements with open answers. The findings of this study are based on two categories, namely theoretical and practical learning. The results reveal that in theory learning, teachers prefer to share material with students in various forms, including PDF, PPT, Video, and others (17.56%), assigning forms in summarizing material (25.19%), and with the full class (47.78%). In contrast, in practical learning, the teacher conducted learning with a system block (5.85%), gave assignments in the form of making projects or products (6.93%), and with half-class management combined with online classes (7.78%). Another finding is the innovation applied by teachers is developing technology-based learning materials and using online platforms. In the new era's learning situation, normal teachers expect a flexible curriculum, as well as standardized, effective, and efficient media, models, methods, and learning platforms. In the learning practice, the teacher expects practice videos and simulation applications that are expected to be by following the expected basic competencies and being equipped with learning practices with the application of health protocols and students' numbers.

Minahasa e-mail: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]   ABSTRAK Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Manado yang merupakan anak-anak perantau kini telah mendapatkan dampak yang sangat nyata dari permainan game online. Terbukti dari banyaknya mahasiswa yang ikut ambil bagian dalam permainan ini, dari hasil pengamatan peneliti selaku mahasiswa yang aktif mendapatkan banyak data bahwa mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Manado yang aktif bermain memiliki kemampuan cara belajar yang kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni kuisioner atau angket. Teknik analisi data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, Teknik Analisis Regresi dan pengujian hipotesis.Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni : bahwa pengaruh game online (X) terhadap cara belajar mahasiswa (Y) pada taraf t hitung > t tabel dan hasil uji korelasi rxy 0849. Game online berpengaruh signifikan terhadap cara belajar. Ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil nilai Fhitung sebesar 4.113 dan nilai signifikansi Ftabel 0.00 < 0.05. Besarnya koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.79 atau 79%. Hal ini berarti 79% pengaruh game online terhadap cara belajar mahasiswa sedangkan untuk selebihnya 21% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh penelitian ini.   Kata kunci : Game Online, Cara Belajar Mahasiswa THE INFLUENCE OF ONLINE GAMES ON HOW STUDENTS STUDYING MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AT MANADO STATE UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT Manado university's advanced mechanical engineering student who is a migrant child has now had a very real impact on online gaming. It is evident from the many students participating in the game that researchers as active university students have received a wealth of data that students studying engineering at manado state university who actively play have a learning ability that is less active in learning. The study USES a quantitative descriptive study method. The data collection method used was "questionnaire or angket." The data analysis used in the study are descriptive statistical analysis, regression analysis and hypothetical testing. The results of this study are: that how online games affect students' learning (y) at a level of t count > t tables and rxy 0849 cordating results. Online games significantly affect how to learn. This can be verified from the results of the ftable value of 4,113 and the significance of ftable 0.00. Critical coefficiencies by 0.79 or 79%. This means 79% of the impact online games have on student learning while for the rest 21% are affected by other variables not examined by this study. Key words : Game Online, student learning

The online learning platform (OLS) is currently the new normal learning setting amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers need to look on the other side of the traditional classroom-based learning mode to make teaching and learning in the new normal possible. It aimed to analyze the current state of the teacher education freshmen applicants concerning the new normal learning platforms. This study employed a descriptive method of research and considered a sample of 85 freshmen applicants in the College of Teacher Education in the academic year 2020-2021. The frequencies and percent value was used to analyze the data gathered. The following are the verdicts of the study, the bulk of the respondents belong to low-income families with farming as their family source of income. Most of the respondents have their mobile phones while the great majorities are using mobile data only. All of the respondents do not have any idea about the different platforms in online learning. Based on the findings, the researcher concluded that the freshmen applicants in the College of Teacher Education cannot totally survive and are not yet ready to embrace the new normal learning platforms due to poverty and lack of resources. It is therefore recommended that the University administration needs to open other sources of learning platforms such as the use of printed learning materials of which will be delivered door-to-door to the students. Besides, the College of Teacher Education should plan and initiate on how to make learning flexible and more engaging.

This study aims to describe the mathematical needs that support competency in the Technical and Business of Motorcycle. This study involved the participation of teachers of Technical and Motorcycle Business and automotive engineering academics. Participants were vocational teachers and lecturers in the Ciamis and Tasikmalaya areas who were accessed by researchers. Data on mathematical needs in technical and motorcycle business are obtained from views of participants and vocational document searches. Participants identify the mathematical needs of the basic competencies in subjects of expertise competency (C3). The results of the study were obtained: (1) measurement, numbers, geometry, algebra, and statistics is the scope of mathematics that supports the competency in the Technical and Business of Motorcycle with an emphasis on the concept of comparison, area, volume, function, and conversion; (2) mathematical relational understanding is needed to solve problems. These results indicate that mathematics with mathematical understanding is needed in the Technical and Motorcycle Business Competencies.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classroom management on motivation to study economics at SMA Negeri 20 Palembang for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used quantitative descriptive method. The sample in the research of class X amounted to 54 students. In collecting data the researchers used techniques of documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the class management had a significant effect on the economic learning motivation received with a large effect from the class management of 31.97%, while the remaining 68.03% was influenced by other factors. Therefore, classroom management is needed in the learning process. Keywords: Classroom Management, Learning Motivation, Management Education

The 2013 scientific-based curriculum, teachers must facilitate students to gain knowledge or skills based on the scientific method. The research aims to analyze the effectiveness of teaching materials. This type of research development, teaching materials have valid content and media. Teaching materials are declared effective if there is an increase in students' classical mastery, an increase in the achievement of basic competencies, and students can understand macroscopic, microscopic and symbolic level representations. Quantitative descriptive research method, starting from the analysis of the quality of teaching materials and diagnostic test instruments Two Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC), application of teaching materials, application of questions, data analysis of test results, classical completeness, achievement of basic competencies, and analysis of representational understanding. The research subjects were students of class XI and XII MIPA. The results of the study were obtained from the results of the student's TTMC test on the buffer solution material that had used Teaching Materials. Data analysis was done classically. The results showed that there was an increase in classical completeness by 9%, the achievement of basic competence indicators increased by 8% and concept understanding increased by 6%. So that the teaching materials developed are effective to use.

The world is transforming into a post-digital society, as a result, people gain the freedom to communicate, share values and knowledge in a society without borders. The virtual world has become a social interaction space while being integrated to enhance the life quality of citizens in many organizations, such as online class management, health management, and poverty alleviation. From the current circumstances, numerous online users still lack responsibility in handling social media which can cause widespread impact. The study of the digital etiquette of world citizens in a new normal society will provide good practice for effective use of the online space in the digital world of global citizens.

The Education system is changing rapidly with all schools preferring online learning platforms to enhance the students learning experience. Majority of the educational institution continued their online classes immediately realising the situation. This study was undertaken to know the students perception about the online classes for during COVID -19 pandemic in Tiruchirapalli city. Primary and Secondary data collected from respondents will be divided into independent variables and dependent variables. These independent variables are conceptualized by using a set of 5-point Likert scale statements to measure the students perception about online classes. Both the variables are supported by students perception about online classes. The online classes became the new normal for most school and college students, the cost of data has been another digital obstacle to surmount even for those with access to smartphones and internet connectivity. The government must introduce policies or an ordinance ensuring universal access to the internet for students stemming from which more systemic support could be offered.

Purpose of the study: This study is to understand the shifting trends in traveling after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was also conducted to determine tourist behavior by identifying the typology of tourists and tourists' traveling motivation after the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data were collected from an online questionnaire (Google Form) contains statements that are rated on a 5-point Likert scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, i.e. distribution of frequency, percentage, and average value. The research time was during March-April 2020. The sample was 100 Indonesian respondents, and all data were valid to be analyzed in the study. Main Findings: Millenial tourists were dominated in this study. The results show that tourists' typology tends to the explorer type, and the second position refers to the drifter type. Meanwhile, the motivation was dominated by physical or physiological motivation and followed by interpersonal motivation. Therefore, natural destinations are the primary choice in the respondent's travel plans. Applications of this study: This result may be used as a reference for destination managers in formulating management strategies and destination development after the pandemic period. The tourism industry may also use the findings of this study to plan tourism activities and develop policies in the new normal era. Novelty / Originality of this study: This research is original, and this is the first study that identifying the shifting trends in traveling after Covid-19 pandemic.

<span>This study aimed to explore the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in vocational schools, Banten in terms of the readiness and quality of the learning tools that have been prepared. A total of 957 respondents from 2017 to 2018, consisting of four cities and three districts in Banten Province were involved in the training and mentoring program, namely vocational teachers and vice-principals in the curriculum field. Data were collected using questionnaire sheets, FGD notes, and observation check dates. The data obtained are analyzed and interpreted based on the specified categories. The results showed that: 1) Teacher readiness for learning tools in the components a) Core Competencies (CC) and Basic Competencies (BC) analysis of 45.31%, b) Program mapping of 38.37%, learning plan preparation of 39.45% and c) Learning evaluation of 36.78%; 2) The quality of lesson plan (LP) the science lesson plan analysis instrument (SLPAI) based is divided into two groups. The category "Quality" in the instructional program and instructional plan aspects, and the category "Moderate" in the instructional media and assessment and others aspects; and 3) The difficulty of learning device components, including authentic assessment, use of methods, literacy approaches, and lesson planning. The implementation of training, mentoring, and supervision programs are adjusted to the experience of vocational teachers taking into account the teacher's involvement in the implementation of the curriculum, age, and school readiness.</span>

Abstract:Technological advances and the COVID-19 have accelerated the shift from traditional learning to online learning. Educational institutions have no choice but to convert the classroom setting into online classes. When teaching online, EFL teachers may have encountered challenges. This paper aims to review some previous studies on the teachers’ perceptions of the challenges in online EFL teaching, in Indonesia and other countries. This study employs library research. The result shows that challenges occurred during the implementation of online EFL teaching and learning. In other countries such as Korea, Thailand, Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia, the challenges are mostly related to the students’ learning process including the time and class management. On the other hand, in Indonesia, the challenges are more complex. Lack of experience with the online teaching methods and the limitations regarding the adequate internet facilities become the challenges that are most complained by the teachers.Abstrak:Kemajuan teknologi dan COVID-19 telah mempercepat peralihan dari pembelajaran tradisional ke pembelajaran online. Institusi pendidikan tidak punya pilihan selain mengubah pengaturan kelas menjadi kelas online. Saat mengajar online, guru EFL mungkin menghadapi tantangan. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk meninjau beberapa penelitian sebelumnya tentang persepsi guru tentang tantangan dalam pengajaran EFL online, di Indonesia dan negara lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan terjadi selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran EFL online. Di negara-negara lain seperti Korea, Thailand, Iran, Cina, dan Arab Saudi, tantangannya lebih banyak terkait dengan proses belajar siswa termasuk waktu dan manajemen kelas. Di sisi lain, di Indonesia, tantangannya lebih kompleks. Kurangnya pengalaman dengan metode pengajaran online dan keterbatasan fasilitas internet yang memadai menjadi tantangan yang paling dikeluhkan oleh para guru.
