Promoting students’ tolerance awareness in the context of peace education through Wayang Golek

Tolerance awareness is one of important aspect to realizing peace education that train students to avoid of using violence. This study aims to represent the results of the tolerance awareness training guide using “wayang golek” as a media to realize peace education by using indigenous heritage that has been tested for acceptability standards.  Research and development model used in this study which has been modified according to the needs and deficiency of researchers in the field, so that it consists of six stages: preliminary study, planning, product making, product testing, product revision, and final product. The assessment that used in this study was adjusted to "Standards for Evaluation of Educational Programs, Projects, and Materials by the joint committee" which involves two experts in the field of guidance and counseling as well as practitioners in the field. The result shows that the guide of tolerance awareness training using “wayang golek” as a media fulfilling the acceptability standards. Abstract: Learning awareness is best for each student. Learning awareness makes learners have a distinct willingness to learn so that learning is no longer necessary. The purpose of the research and development is to produce a guidebook for learning awareness training by using self-talk technique in group guidance. This research is a type of research and development that adapts the development model from Borg and Gall. The steps taken in this research and development do not follow the overall development steps by Borg and Gall. This research and development is only up to the fifth step, namely product revision. The guidebook developed have been validated by two instrument experts, two guidance and counseling material experts and two media experts and have been tested on two prospective product users (school counselors). Based on the results of expert trials and user trials of manual products, they get an assessment that is very feasible to use. Abstrak: Kesadaran diri dalam belajar sebaiknya dimiliki setiap pelajar. Kesadaran dalam belajar membuat peserta didik memiliki kemauan sendiri dalam belajar sehingga anak tersebut tidak perlu lagi untuk dipaksa untuk belajar.Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan untuk menghasilkan panduan pelatihan kesadaran belajar siswa SMP dengan penggunaan teknik self-talk dalam bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan dari Borg dan Gall. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini tidak mengikuti keseluruhan langkah pengembangan oleh Borg dan Gall. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini hanya hingga langkah kelima yaitu revisi produk. Panduan yang dikembangkan sudah divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli instrumen, dua orang ahli materi bimbingan dan konseling dan dua orang ahli media serta sudah diuji cobakan kepada calon pengguna produk yaitu dua orang konselor sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba ahli dan uji coba pengguna produk panduan mendapatkan penilaian sangat layak digunakan.

<div align="center"><table width="645" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="439"><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to produce a guide to awareness training to resolve conflicts constructively using the media wayang golek for junior high school student. This training guide is teaching material that contains material, steps in training activities, and evaluation. This research and development procedure adapted from the development of Borg and Gall which carried out six stages, namely (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) product development (4) product validation, (5) product revision, and (6) final products. The analytical technique used in this Research and Development uses Descriptive analysis, which is to describe each assessment item given by experts and prospective users. Based on the results of analysis that have been obtained from puppet experts, Guidance and Counseling, Learning Media and Prospective Users, it can be concluded that the guideline of awareness training to resolve conflict constructively using puppet golek media meets the criteria of acceptance both theoretically and practically. Suggestions for future researchers are that this research is only to test experts and prospective users, so there needs to be an effectiveness test to find out the effectiveness of this product guide.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan panduan pelatihan kesadaran menyelesaikan konflik secara konstruktif menggunakan media wayang golek untuk siswa SMP. Panduan pelatihan ini adalah bahan ajar yang berisi materi, langkah kegiatan pelatihan, serta evaluasi. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengadaptasi dari pengembangan Borg and Gall yang dilakukan enam tahap, yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk, (4) validasi produk, (5) revisi produk, dan (6) produk akhir. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam Penelitian dan Pengembangan ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif yaitu dengan mendiskripsikan setiap butir penilaian yang diberikan oleh para ahli dan calon pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah diperoleh dari ahli wayang, Bimbingan dan Konseling, Media Pembelajaran, dan Calon Pengguna, dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan pelatihan kesadaran menyelesaikan konflik secara konstruktif menggunakan media wayang golek memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan secara teoritik maupun praktik. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya yaitu penelitian ini hanya sampai uji ahli dan calon pengguna, jadi perlu adanya uji efektivitas untuk mengetahui keefektifan produk panduan ini.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

One of the services that should be provided by early childhood education (henceforth PAUD) teachers in the holistic integrative program is group guidance and counseling. Therefore, a manual which can assist them in providing these services is needed. This research aims to develop manual for implementing group guidance and counseling through holistic integrative program. The design of the study was research and development by following the CID development model which consists of 4 stages, namely 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, and 4) Disseminate. The design was validated by two experts, each of whom was with a professional background in guidance and counseling, and early childhood education respectively. The validation results showed that each aspect of the material, presentation, language and graphics are very valid (82%), valid (76.25), valid (70%) and very valid (85%) respectively. The dissemination stage was conducted through trying out the manual for the implementation of guidance and counseling in PAUD-to-PAUD teachers throughout to get an idea of whether there are still improvements so that the use of this manual can achieve the expected goals

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of a multicultural awareness training package for students who meet the criteria for product acceptance that covers aspects of usability, feasibility, accuracy and attractiveness. This procedure of research and development uses a research model and development of Borg &amp; Gall. The test results showed that the guidance and counseling expert obtained an index of validity of 0.77 (moderate), material experts obtained an index of validity of 0.89 (high), experts in learning media obtained an index of validity of 0.90 (high), and prospective users obtained validity index of 0.89 (high), so it can be concluded that the product of multicultural awareness training package has met the criteria for product acceptance, so it is feasible to be used in training activities.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan produk berupa paket pelatihan kesadaran multikultural bagi mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan produk yang mencangkup aspek kegunaan, kelayakan, ketepatan dan kemenarikan. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg &amp; Gall. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan, ahli bimbingan dan konseling diperoleh indeks validitas sebesar 0,77 (sedang), ahli materi diperoleh indeks validitas sebesar 0,89 (tinggi), ahli media pembelajaran diperoleh indeks validitas sebesar 0,90 (tinggi), dan calon pengguna diperoleh indeks validitas sebesar 0,89 (tinggi) sehingga dapat disimpulkan produk paket pelatihan kesadaran multikultural telah memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan produk sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan.

The purpose of this study is to develop guidance and counseling module material to strengthen the resilience of problem adolescents. The study was conducted at High Schools (SMA) throughout Tarutung District. The research method used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. Preliminary observations show that adolescents in Tarutung sub-district still have low resilience levels. There are 19 teenagers who are confused about whether they like challenges and only 3 teenagers who don't like challenges. This is intended to measure a person's strength when experiencing life's challenges with all his difficulties. In fact, there are 2 teenagers who answered that they would not rise again after being confronted with illness, injury, or other misfortunes. Some teenagers also do not have a good relationship with their families. But all teenagers have the belief that God is able to help them in dealing with existing problems. This module material contains religious values and pays attention to the task of adolescent development. The results of the module validation conducted by 10 material experts concluded that the module is very feasible to be applied by adolescents. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan materi modul bimbingan dan konseling untuk memberi penguatan resiliensi pada remaja bermasalah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) se-Kecamatan Tarutung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development model ADDIE. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa remaja di Kecamatan Tarutung masih memiliki tingkat resiliensi rendah. Terdapat 19 remaja kebingungan apakah menyukai tantangan dan hanya 3 remaja yang tidak menyukai tantangan. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mengukur kekuatan seseorang ketika mengalami tantangan-tantangan hidup dengan segala kesulitannya. Bahkan terdapat 2 remaja yang menjawab tidak akan bangkit kembali setelah diperhadapkan dengan sakit penyakit, cidera atau kemalangan-kemalangan lainnya. Beberapa remaja juga tidak memiliki hubungan yang baik dengan keluarganya. Namun seluruh remaja memilliki keyakinan bahwa Tuhanlah yang dapat menolong mereka dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang ada. Materi modul ini mengandung nilai-nilai religius dan memperhatikan tugas perkembangan remaja. Hasil validasi modul yang dilakukan oleh 10 ahli materi menyimpulkan bahwa modul sangat layak untuk diterapkan oleh remaja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program multimedia pembelajaran interaktif untuk memudahkan dan menumbuhkan minat santri dalam belajar membaca Al-Quran metode qira’ati yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek isi, aspek pembelajaran, aspek tampilan dan aspek pemrograman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mencakup sembilan langkah kegiatan, yaitu: mengum-pulkan informasi dan penelitian pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi produk uji coba lapangan awal, uji coba lapangan utama, revisi produk uji coba lapangan utama, uji coba lapangan operasional, revisi produk ujicoba lapangan operasional, dan produk akhir. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) produk yang dihasilkan adalah program multimedia pembelajaran interaktif belajar membaca Al-Quran metode qira’ati yang dikemas dalam bentuk CD; dan (2) progam multimedia pembelajaran interaktif belajar membaca Al-Quran metode qira’ati ini efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran membaca Al-Quran. This study was a research and development which included nine steps, i.e.: collecting information and preliminary study, planning, initial product development, initial field testing, revision of initial field testing products, primary field testing, revision of primary field testing product, operational field testing, revision of operational field testing product, final product. The results of the study  are as follows: (1) The developed product is an interactive teaching multimedia program for learning reading Quran through qira’ati method in a CD, (2) This interactive teaching multimedia program reading is effective for learning to read Al-Qur’an.Keywords: multimedia program, learning, Al-Qur’an

This research is a research and development (R&D) using the Dick and Carey development model with subjects of material experts, media experts, linguists, guidance and counseling teachers, and class XI students at SMAN 2 Pamekasan, SMAN 3 Pamekasan, SMAN 5 Pamekasan with a total of 18 students. The data was collected by interviews, questionnaires, career guidance treatment using a career guidance guide book based on the trait and factor theory. The data obtained in qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study at (1) the level of need for a career guidance guidebook based on the trait and factor theory with the Guidance and Counseling teacher's responses were stated to be very useful to use, (2) the results of the validation assessment results of material experts, media experts, and linguists showed a very feasible category, (3) the results of individual assessments of BK teachers at SMAN 2 Pamekasan are declared fit for use, (4) the results of small group assessments at SMAN 3 Pamekasan and SMAN 5 Pamekasan show very feasible and useful as a guide for career guidance services, (5) career guidance manual based on the theory of effective trait and factors based on the average data increase in the pre-test and post-test questionnaire scores of class XI students.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) mengembangkan SSP Biologi berbasis domain kreativitas dalam mengembangkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab pada diri siswa; (2) mengetahui kualitas SSP Biologi berbasis domain kreativitas untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab pada siswa; (3) mengetahui SSP Biologi berbasis domain kreativitas yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab serta prestasi hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R & D). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 3 (sebagai kelas kontrol) dan XI IPA 5 (sebagai kelas treatmen) yang masing-masing kelas terdiri atas 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi SSP, angket, lembar observasi, dan tes yang terdiri atas pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian dalam pengembangan perangkat SSP Biologi domain kreativitas untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab pada siswa yang terdiri atas pengembangan Silabus, RPP, Materi ajar, LKS, penilaian tes belajar siswa sudah valid dan layak digunakan karena memiliki kategori sangat baik. Perangkat SSP Biologi domain kreativitas untuk meningkatkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab mampu meningkatkan karakter kreatif dan tanggung jawab pada siswa dengan katagori sangat baik.Kata Kunci: SSP, kreativitas, karakter, kreatif, tanggung jawab Developing Creativity Domain Biology SSP to Improve Students' Creative Character, Responsibility, and Learning Achievement AbstractThis study aims to: (1) develop creativity-domain-based biology SSP to improve the creative and responsibility character in students. (2) reveal the quality the creativity-domain-based biology SSP to improve the creativity and responsibility characters of students.(3) knowing quality developing the creativity-domain-based biology SSP to improve the creativity, responsibility character and the resulting study of student. The method in this study was Research and Development (R & D) consisting of 10 primary steps developed by Borg & Gall; this study, however, used only steps 1 to 7, i.e.a preliminary study, planning, SSP draft construction and validation, a small-scale try out, evaluation and revision, a large-scale try out, and evaluation and final revision. The try out subjects were grade XI IPA students, consisting of 15 Grade XI IPA 1 students for the small-scale tryout and 30 Grade XI IPA 3 students as the control class, 30 Grade student of XI IPA 5 as the experimental class. The data were collected by means of an interview guide, a kit validation sheet, a questionnaire, an observation sheet, and tests consisting of a pre-test and post-test. Feedback and suggestion for the developed SSP in the small-scale try out stage were used as the basis for the SSP revision in the subsequent tryout. The result of study consisting of the development of syllabus, lesson plant, teaching materials, worksheets, student assessment test, according to the research is valid and fit for use because it is in a very good category. The SSP device creativity-domain-based biology to enhance the creativity and responsibility characters can improve creativity and responsibility characters of the students, which is a very good character.Keywords: SSP, creativity, character, creative, responsibility

This research aims to promote the development of the character of learning community at Madrasah Tsanawiyah of Bantul Regency Yogyakarta, and two problems posed to be addressed: why the character of community learning pattern does not realize as it has been expected, and how does the development of the character of learning community at MTs of Bantul look like? The research uses the Research and Development model that is consisted of four stages: exploration, development, tests, and dissemination. The data were collected by means of observatiosn, interviews, questionaire, and review of documentation. The results show: (1) the character of learning community at the MTs in Bantul Regency has not been fully established because the teachers were not active in preparing their lesson study, and they did not benefit from it. Also, they were too busy in fulfilling their obligations as teachers; (2) the development of the character of learning community at MTs in Bantul could be implemented through Classroom Action Research-based lesson study plans which are consisted of five stages: consolidation of lesson study concepts, explanation of Classroom Action Research as a form of scientific publication, planning, implementation of action, and reflection.
