Abstract: The problem in this study is the low ability of students in reviewing literary work, especially movies. This is due to the less precise learning method taught by the teachers during the learning process and tend to be boring, so a lot of students are not interested in reviewing literary work subject. This study aims to describe students’ ability in reviewing movie. The model used in this study is demonstration model. Population of this research is all students of class VIII at SMP Swasta Pangeran Antasari Medan academic year 2014/2015 with sample of 24 students. The instrument used is an objective test (multiple choices) and giving commentary based on film that has been played. The object of this research is the answer sheets of students, which assessed from the movie review aspect and intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the movie. Review aspect consists of the ability of reviewing the movie, determining the strengths and weaknesses of the movie, the storyline, the conclusion, and the characters in the movie. The results of the study prove that students’ ability in reviewing the movie is classified as good. In terms of percentages, there are 12 students or 50% who get score classified as very good, 7 students or 29.2% classified as good, 5 students or 20.8%, classified as fair. The mean score they get is 77. Thus, the ability in reviewing Cahaya dari Timur movie by students of class VIII-II SMP Swasta Pangeran Antasari classified as good. Penelitian ini membahas kemampuan guru bahasa Sunda di SMP Piloting Project Kurikulum 2013 dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan menilai kemampuan mendongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 pada tahun pelajaran 2015-2016. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah (1) perkembangan Kurikulum 2013 yang sangat dinamis dan; (2) pedoman pelaksanaannya yang terus berubah, sehingga muncul pertanyaan apakah perubahan ini sampai kepada guru bahasa Sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan menilai pembelajaran khususnya materi dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Sunda kelas VII, dengan teknik observasi dan study dokumenter. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) guru bahasa Sunda mampu merencanakan pengajaran dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013; (2) dalam proses pembelajarannya perlu ditingkatkan dan; (3) guru bahasa Sunda mampu menilai pengajaran dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. ABSTRACTThis article discusses the ability of Sundanese teachers in junior high school Piloting Project Curriculum 2013 in planning, implementing, and assessing the ability of storytelling based on Curriculum 2013 in the academic year 2015-2016. The backgrounds of this study were (1) the development of Curriculum 2013, which is very dynamic and; (2) the implementation guidance that is constantly changing, so the question arises whether this change reaches the teachers. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of teachers to plan, implement, and assess fairytale learning materials based on curriculum 2013. This research employed descriptive method with qualitative approach. The population and sample is Sundanese language teacher of Grade VII. It used observation and documentary study. The instrument was the observation sheet. The conclusion of this study are that (1) the Sundanese teacher is able to plan teaching fairytale based on Curriculum 2013; (2) the learning process needs to be improved; and (3) the Sundanese teacher is able to assess fairytale learning based on the Curriculum 2013.

  This research is motivated by learning conditions that are still not optimal, both process and learning outcomes. Therefore, we conducted a research to apply lesson study by using the Cooperative Learning method in Indonesian Language, in writing advertisement, slogans, and posters texts in class VIII of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung. This research is expected to improve learning outcomes, activities and creativities. The research method used is an experimental method. The research subjects were students of Pasundan 2 Bandung Junior High School Class VIII C. This research was an implementation of plan, do and see. The validity of the data is done through triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of lesson study using the Cooperative Learning method is carried out in accordance with the stages in the lesson study, namely plan, do and see. Lesson study makes the learning planning process more mature so that in the implementation of learning the model lecturer feels more prepared. Lesson Study can effectively improve the quality of learning, both processes and results. This can be seen from the test results which are tested on the average significant improvement. Likewise in the process, based on the observations made, the activity and creativity of students of Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study with cooperative learning effectively increases the activity, creativity, and learning outcomes of students in Pasundan 2 Junior High School Bandung significantly.

In the learning method of Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung still using conventional method so that the learning process of Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung become less interactive and less fun so that the students pay less attention to what is delivered by the teacher. Lampung language is one of the regional languages in Indonesia, the language of Lampung itself must be studied when students who are in Lampung province who sit in junior high school. So the author makes a multimedia application using Adobe Flash which is used for learning Lampung language in Junior High School 1 Pugung become more interactive and fun, thus helping students to focus in learning Lampung language.

<pre>The purpose of this paper is to know the internalization process of religious tolerance values such as <em>tauhid, rahmah, musawah</em> in educational institutions. This study took place in the SMP Muhammadiyah Salatiga, the Junior High School, which using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that <em>first</em>, to put tolerance values into the curriculum, <em>second, to </em>develop vertical relationships in Allah SWT and horizontal fellow humans, <em>third,</em> to emphasize the implementation of tolerance values in the daily lives of students in realizing Islam <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em>,  Fourth,  the teacher gives examples of tolerance behavior in the learning process.</pre><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan tulisan ini ingin mengetahui proses internallisasi nilai-nilai toleransi beragama seperti <em>tauhid, rahmah, musawah</em> di lembaga pendidikan. The purposes of this research were (1) descriptively that to find out considers discipline of students, learning motivation, and  learning method (2) correlationally which was to know relationship among discipline of students, learning motivation, and learning method with students mathematic achievement to eight grade student’s of Junior High School in Piyungan district on 2013/2014 academic year. This research is ex post facto. The population of this research was all students of class VIII in Piyungan district on 2013/2014 academic year with sample size was 112 students. The sampling technique use was cluster random sampling. The techniques of collecting data use questionnaire and test. The techniques of analyzing data applied were regression and correlation analysis. Before that, the testing of precondition analysis used which normality, linearity, multicolinierity analyses. The result of research shows descriptively it considers discipline of students in very high category, considers learning motivation in high category, considers learning method in high category, considers students mathematic achievement in high category. While correlatively that there were positive relationship and significant among discipline of students, learning motivation, learning method with students mathematic achievement with grouply or separately

Abstrak: Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran English fun bagi siswa SMPN 5 Narmada merupakan bentuk pengabdian dalam rangka memberikan semangat dan motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan. Pendampingan pengajaran ini difokuskan pada siswa kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pengajaran langsung didalam ruangan kelas dengan menggunakan metode permainan (game) seperti pair work cards, board card and spelling be game. Penggunaan metode ini sangat efektif dalam merangsang inspirasi belajar siswa untuk lebih memahami capaian pembelajaran. Kegiatan pendampingan pengajaran berlangsung selama 6 kali pertemuan. Selama proses pengajaran, para siswa terlihat aktif dan termotivasi untuk lebih semangat belajar bahasa Inggris. Para siswa ikut terlibat secara langsung dalam mengerjakan tugas dan latihan sesuai dengan arahan dan instruksi seorang guru. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode game yang menyenangkan atau variasi metode akan mampu mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. Metode ini sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan bagi siswa sekolah disetiap jenjang khususnya siswa sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: Pengajaran, English, Fun.Abstract:  Teaching English fun for students of SMP 5 Narmada is a kind of service on community in order to have enthusiasm and motivation to learn English fun. This teaching service is focused on class VIII students in the academic year 2018-2019. This service is carried out in the form of direct teaching in the classroom by using game such as pair work cards, board cards and spelling be games. The use of these methods are more effective in stimulating the students' learning inspiration for getting the point of learning outcomes. Teaching services activities was conducted for 6 meetings. During the teaching process, students were actively and motivated to be more enthusiastic in learning English. The students are directly participate to do the assignments and exercises according to the direction and instructions of a teacher. Thus, the use of fun game methods or their variations will be able to encourage student learning motivation. These methods were very suitable to be developed for high school students each level, especially junior high school students.Keywords: Teaching, English, Fun

Abstrak: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah suatu kecakapan atau potensi yang dimiliki dalam diri individu untuk menyelesaiakan suatu masalah dari permasalahan yang berbeda-beda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada tingkatan sangat baik dan kurang. Kemampuan ini diteliti terkait dengan materi bangun ruang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan sampel 4 siswa SMPN 1 Papar kelas VIII-I. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel berkemampuan: (1) Pada tingkat sangat baik, mengalami kesulitan dalam menstranfer pengetahuan (2) Pada tingkat baik, mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan memvisualisasikan konsep matematika karena terbiasa dengan soal-soal rutin (3) Pada tingkat cukup baik, mengalami kesulitan yaitu lemah dalam perhitungan (4) Pada tingkat sangat kurang, mengalami kesulitan yaitu  lemah dalam melakukan perhitungan dan membuat koneksi. Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kesulitan, bangun ruang  Abstract: The ability to solve problems is a skill or potential possessed in an individual to solve a problem from different problems. The purpose of this study is to describe problem-solving abilities at very good and poor levels. This ability was examined in relation to space building material using a qualitative approach, with a sample of 4 students of Papar 1 Junior High School class VIII-I. Data collection techniques used in this study are tests and interviews. The results showed that the sample was capable of: (1) at a very good level, having difficulty in transferring knowledge (2) At a good level, having difficulty understanding and visualizing mathematical concepts because they are familiar with routine questions (3) At a fairly good level, experiencing difficulties that is weak in calculation (4) At a very low level, having difficulties is weak in performing calculations and making connections. ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi yang merambah dalam dunia pendidikan telah banyak ditandai dengan adanya inovasi-inovasi terbarukan yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah dengan adanya inovasi  dalam pembuatan metode pembelajaran. Guru harus bisa melakukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran karerna, guru memiliki peranan sangat strategis dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran IPA di SMP wilayah Jadebotabek khususnya mata pelajaran Fisika masih mengggunakan metode ceramah, memberikan catatan, memberikan latihan soal hal ini dirasa  kurang menarik dan sering membosankan karena kurangnya inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan dan melihat peran guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran IPA yaitu menggunakan metode Flipped Classroom. Metode yang digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara melakukan analisis kebutuhan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Angket analisis kebutuhan diberikan kepada Guru IPA di SMP wilayah Jawa Tengah. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengembangan metode pembelajaran Flipped Classroom perlu dilakukan di SMP wilayah Jawa Tengah. Hasil lainnya, guru juga menginginkan adanya pelatihan tentang penerapan metode pembelajaran Flipped Classroom untuk meningkatkan kualitas metode pembelajaran. Kata kunci: kebutuhan guru; metode pembelajaran; flipped classroom. ABSTRACTThe development of technology that has penetrated into the world of education has been marked by the existence of renewable innovations that can support the learning process. One of them is the innovation in making learning methods. Teachers must be able to carry out a learning innovation because teachers have a very strategic role in the learning process. Science learning at Junior high school in Central Java area, especially Physics subjects, still uses method of lectures, giving notes, giving exercises, this is deemed less interesting and often boring due to the lack of innovation in learning methods. The purpose of this study is to conduct a need assessment and see the role of the teacher in developing science learning model usuing Flipped Classroom. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method that is by way of need assessment by conducting interviews questionnaire and direct observation. A needs analysis questionnaire was given to the science teacher at Junior high school in Jawa Tengah area. From the research results, it was found that the development of the Flipped Classroom learning method needed to be carried out at Junior high school in Jawa Tengah area. The other result, teachers at school want training on the application of the Flipped Classroom learning method to improve the quality of learning methods. Keywords: teacher needs; learning methods; flipped classroom.

<p>The Aim of this research is to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the students' interest in the teaching-learning process for second class students of SMK Muhammadiyah Salatiga. The methodology of the study is classroom action research, where the writer as a teacher in the teaching-learning process, and writer had a partner as observer in learning activities. The objectives of the study are to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the vocabulary mastery, and to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the vocabulary mastery for the second year students of SMK Muhammadiyah Salatiga. The writer applied test, namely pre-test, and post-test. She implemented three cycles. Each consists of planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection. The finding shows that Think, Pair, Share learning method can improve vocabulary in teaching-learning process. It can be seen by the result of pretest and posttest in cycle I is 5.49, cycle II is 6.32, and cycle III is 8.03. From the result is greater than t-table with n=33 is 0.42. It means that the use of TPS can improve the student's vocabulary mastery.</p>
