Raw materials are a significant requirement in the production process for manufacturing companies. In meeting the needs of raw materials for the production process, most manufacturing firms rely on suppliers. Supplier selection is an essential part of manufacturing companies. From several supplier selection criteria, quality is one of the fundamental standards and is used in supplier assessment. Selecting suppliers based on the quality of their products will have a positive impact on manufacturing companies, such as increased profits through reduced operational costs and increased market share. The problem faced is the lack of accuracy in choosing qualified suppliers. In this study will compare two suppliers at manufacturing companies and pick one that has a higher capability value. Supplier selection is made by using multiple characteristic capability indexes. The Supplier will be selected by comparing the ratio of two suppliers. Numerical calculations are performed on leather suppliers in shoe companies based on bursting quality, tear strength, tensile strength and elongation. The result of the calculation can be seen that supplier B is chosen as a better supplier. Characteristics of quality will affect the production process and application of shoes.

The selection of suppliers is made using the yield index of Spk with a single characteristic. Supplier will be selected by comparing the yield ratio of two suppliers. Numerical calculations are performed on suppliers based on pH levels on the leather. The pH level on the leather will affect the color. A low pH may result color degradation earlier, whereas a high pH may result poor color matching.

ABSTRAK   Dienis Beauty merupakan usaha online yang menjual produk masker kecantikan merk ternama  dan  memiliki  legalitas  resmi  dari  Badan  Pengawas  Obat  dan  Makanan (BPOM).  Permasalahan  yang  timbul yaitu  mengenai  kemasan  kurang  menarik yang dapat mengancam pengusaha tersebut apabila kualitas kemasan tersebut tidak segera dirubah dikarenakan dalam proses produksi kemasan nya masih menggunakan mesin manual dalam proses pengerjaannya. Kualitas kemasan produk dianggap penting mengingat interaksi pertama yang akan memikat minat konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian yaitu melalui tampilan luar produk yang dikenal dengan kemasan. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai ideal nya suatu kualitas kemasan untuk menembus sebuah penjualan dan memberikan dampak positif bagi para pelaku Usaha Mikro,Kecil,dan Menengah (UMKM) agar tetap berdiri dan bertahan ditengah ketatnya persaingan.   Kata kunci : kualitas kemasan produk, penjualan, UMKM     ABSTRACT   Dienis Beauty is an online business that sells well-known brand beauty mask products and has official legality from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). The problem that arises is regarding the packaging that is less attractive and can threaten the entrepreneur if the quality of the packaging is not changed immediately because in the production process the packaging still uses manual machines in the process. The quality  of  product  packaging  is  considered  important  considering  that  the  first interaction that will attract consumers to make a purchase is through the outer appearance of the product known as packaging. This research activity aims to provide information about the ideal quality of packaging to penetrate a sale and have a positive impact on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) players in order to stand and survive in the midst of intense competition.   Keywords: quality of product packaging, sales, MSMEs

Raw materials are basic need for manufacturing companies to facilitate the production process. Therefore, supplier selection process is an important process for the company, because by choosing the right suppliers of raw materials will benefit the company. To choose the right supplier is also determined by the decision taken by the decision maker (DM). In addition, the weight of DM assessment will differ on different criteria because DM experts in a particular field are not necessarily experts in other fields. Therefore, in this paper is discussed about the measurement of the weight of each criterion and alternative to choose the best supplier alternative using AHP method. In addition, this paper also measures the consistency of DM in making decisions using expertise level models.

This research is aimed to determine the quality control system of production process in PT Industri Sandang Nusantara unit Patal Secang, measure the efectivity of quality control system by using control P-Chart and determine factors that cause defect product. This research is explorative descriptive by case study method. Data used in this research is the procedure of production process and the number of defect product. Product used in this company is  thread R30/1 UW and R 40/1 UW PT Industri Sandang Nusantara Unit Patal Secang in 24 periods of production between April – Mei 2006. Data is collected by interview, documentation, and observation. Data is analyzed by control p-chart and fish bone diagram. The conclusion of this research are: (1) The quality control system which is consists of controlling raw materials, production process and final product is appropriate with the company’s standard; (2) the number of defect product R 30/1 UW is 26.956 bale with the average 0.0167; Control P Chart shows that there are three periods which are out of control. They are in April 30, Mei 5 and 21, 2006. (3) The number of final product R 40/1 UW is 2159 bale with the average 0.0214; control p-chart shows that there are tw periods which are out of control. They are ini Mei 6 and Mei 12, 2006. (4) Factors that cause defect product are obsolete machines, employee performance, control system, and raw materials. Based on that condition, management should impove the controlling of machines, improve motivation and commitment of the employee, improve the method of inspection and control the quality of raw materials.

This paper discusses a method that integrates Fuzzy AHP with Taguchi Loss Function. The method used to select suppliers with various criteria. This various criteria will be considered to get the best supplier. This research was conducted at a textile company in Indonesia for the cotton product 41166. The purpose of this research is to apply techniques to improve the performance of Fuzzy AHP by considering the cost of losses as small as possible. Research data obtained from the survey results using questionnaires and company factual data in the form of costs of losses incurred due to improper quantity of raw materials, quality of raw materials that are not in accordance with standards, delays in delivery, prices that exceed expectations, and poor service or response. The results of this research shown the value of losses incurred by 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th suppliers respectively for $ 2.23, $ 671.12, $ 815.57, and $ 1243.64. Among four suppliers, the best supplier with the smallest loss value is first supplier.

Development of competitive businesses have triggered changes in the various methods of business management to streamline labor costs, overhead costs and raw material costs in improving product quality. Manufacturing companies are in a period of dynamic transformation that requires the manufacturers to always expand its business to survive and have strong competitiveness in addition to the company must have a strategy for its business organization, strategies must be developed by the company in addition to developing the company's products also must develop the data processing. Every company should be able to do if financial data appropriately and accurately to support the company's business decisions. For that a corporate leader needs a tool to control the company, the tool is a useful accounting information system to present the report production costs properly. Hopefully, by the system of all the activities of the company can be run according to plan and to minimize deviations or errors that occur which could harm the company.Object of research chosen by the authors is the company CV Surya Pratama Gemilang, a medium-sized manufacturing company that produces a variety of bacterial decomposition and laboratory equipment. The company has a systematic record system and computerized production and there are some systems that are still made manually as demand for raw materials from the production to the warehouse with a waffle sometimes only just though the procedure had to use a memo for taking raw materials from the warehouse. In doing production company CV Surya Pratama Gemilang processing raw materials into finished products based on processes that make the production process according to the requirement or determination of the barn, so when the warehouse inventory is less than the policy-setting in the warehouse, the company started production to meet the needs of the provisions in the warehouse. From the nature of the production process suitable production cost calculation is based on the cost method (Process Costing).Keywords: Accounting Information Systems, report production costs, Cost Based Process

This study discusses the manufacture of goods production applications in manufacturing companies. Problems that arise include the difficulty of obtaining information relating to the process of production of goods from the purchase of raw materials, the use of raw materials for production, sale of finished goods and information on stock of raw materials for production and finished goods. One of the main objectives of this study is to overcome the deficiencies mentioned above in terms of presenting information and reporting the production process of goods. This research method uses waterfall. The results of research in the form of application of the production of goods provide one alternative solution to the availability of information systems for the production of goods for interested parties

Background: Subdistrict Parengan has high livestock potential especially Suciharjo Village and Margorejo Village. The existing agricultural waste is not treated properly and livestock cannot reach maximum weights. The provision of quality animal feed is one of the efforts to improve the welfare of the community. Quality of animal feed can be increasing cattle productivity so that the selling value will increase. Purpose: This Community Service activity aims to improve the economic strengthening of the community through breeders through the introduction, dissemination, through technology UMB Herbal based on local resources that can increase the weight gain of beef cattle. UMB Herbal is a concentrate feed that uses raw materials based on raw materials (agriculture) with curcuma which is widely available in the regions. Improving skills makes UMB Herbal can be a provision for the community to be able to increase income. Methods: The method used in community service is the counseling for animal feed and health, training to make UMB Herbal and focus group discussions then applicating of UMB Herbal to pilot cattle. Results: The results of this community service include an increase in beef cattle body weight,  decreasing the gastrointestinal worm infestations, and increasing the knowledge and skills of the participants of the community service. Conclusion: Community Service Activities have a positive impact related to the development of beef cattle farms.

The results showed that the SOP used was the SOP in the simplest form which only had a few activities and decision making. In the production process there are five stages carried out during the production process, namely, preparing raw materials, stirring the dough into a mixer, the process of rolling bread, the process of developing bread and the process of developing the dough ready to bake. Here the raw materials in the form of main raw materials namely wheat flour, capital in the form of owner's personal capital, machines in the form of tools used during the production process and work force are very influential during the production process because workforce is the main actor in the production of bread king. As one of the kingpin bread businesses in Samarinda, it is expected that the staff of the kingpin bread must continue to improve and maintain the quality of the production produced, that is bread kingpin and still maintain the quality of human resources namely labor. The most important thing must not be forgotten is that labor is a very very important factor of production in every production process that should be a benchmark to find out whether the system implemented has been implemented properly.

The purchase of raw materials is very influential for the quality of products produced in addition to the process of making the product itself. Therefore, how to choose the supplier from the available alternatives is something that must be done properly in the process of procurement of raw materials especially for companies with many product variations and associated with many suppliers. This paper discusses about how to make supplier selection procedure for garment company with a case on a medium scale garment company in Bandung that manufactures veil and Moslem fashion. Mapping of business processes using IDEF0 was the first step in designing of supplier selection procedure. Then performed an analysis of the process which is usually done to identify the weaknesses and strengths of the process. The next step is create a design of supplier selection procedure that is more structured and measurable. In addition, also designed a tool that can be used in the supplier selection process, which is a simple application to determine the ranking of suppliers who will be selected based on the criteria specified. The application is based on the decision-making process with The Analytical Hierarchy Process approach that has been commonly used as a tool for decision-making with many alternative choices. In general, the resulting procedure would be beneficial for the company as a guide for those involved in the procurement process at the purchasing department, primarily for decision making in supplier selection.
