Introduction: Height determination by measuring various body parts is of value in medicolegal investigations as well as in anthropology. The current study was conducted to analyze interrelation between foot dimensions and stature, and to predict stature from foot dimensions. Methods: The study was done in medical students where stature, foot length, and foot breadth were quantified using standard instruments. We calculated correlations between variables with correlation test and predicted stature from foot length and foot breadth using linear regression. Results: The correlation between foot length and stature, and foot breadth and stature were statistically significant in both gender (p < 0.05). Greater correlation coefficient between foot length and stature than that for foot breadth and stature indicated stronger correlation between foot length and stature. Separate formulae were drawn for calculation of stature from foot breadth and foot length by regression analysis. Conclusion: Both foot breadth and foot length were correlated with stature. Foot length was found to be a better predictor of stature.

ABSTRACTThis study is descriptive analitik, aims to describe the relationship of perceptions about the physiotherapy profession with the motivation to learn students of the Academy of Physiotherapy UKI. Data collection through questionnaires to students of Physiotherapy Academy UKI level 1, 2, and 3 with a sample of 53 students, then give a score of each statement of questionnaire.The result of correlation analysis shows that p = 0,584> α (0,05) ho is accepted, so there is no significant relationship between the two variables. To measure the closeness and intensity of the relationship between the two variables, test of correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. The result of correlation coefficient test (r) obtained by -0,077, lies below the value of -0.30 (very weak) thus can be said there is no relation between perception about physiotherapy profession with motivation learn student Akfis UKI. Result of linear regression analysis obtained equation: Y = 73,52 + (-0,088) X. This means that every 1 point decrease of perception value will influence motivation value equal to 0,088 times.Keywords: Perception, motivation, physiotherapy profession, and learning achievement. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik, bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi tentang profesi fisioterapi dengan motivasi belajar siswa Akademi Fisioterapi UKI. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada siswa Fisioterapi Academy UKI tingkat 1, 2, dan 3 dengan sampel sebanyak 53 siswa, kemudian memberikan skor masing-masing kuesioner pernyataan. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa p = 0,584> α (0,05) ho diterima, sehingga tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Untuk mengukur kedekatan dan intensitas hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut, uji koefisien korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi (r) diperoleh sebesar -0,077, berada di bawah nilai -0,30 (sangat lemah) sehingga dapat dikatakan tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi tentang profesi fisioterapi dengan motivasi belajar siswa Akfis UKI. Hasil analisis regresi linier diperoleh persamaan: Y = 73,52 + (-0,088) X. Artinya setiap 1 titik penurunan nilai persepsi akan mempengaruhi nilai motivasi sebesar 0,088 kali.Kata kunci: Persepsi, motivasi, profesi fisioterapi, dan prestasi belajar.

Problem solving ability is one of several competences that should be mastered by medical graduates. Metacognitive skill, which refers to skills of thinking about thinking, is presumed in the literature to have some relation with problem solving ability. This study aims to investigate the effect ofmetacognitive skill on problem solving ability among medical students of academic and professional programmes at the Faculty of Medicine. This study is analytic and observational, conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University. The study subjects are medical students currentlyundertaking academic or professional programme at the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University. Subject were selected purposively by distinguishing sub populations undertaking academic and professional programmes. From each sub population, 20 subjects were selected atrandom to result in a total of 40 subjects for this study. The data were collected by use of a questionnaire that has been previously designed by researchers abroad. The questionnaire was translated from English to Indonesian, modified accordingly, and subsequently tested for its validityand reliability, before use. The data were analyzed employing multiple linear regression model. The results of the regression analysis show that one score in metacognitive skill increases 0.71 score in problem solving ability (?= 0.71; 95%CI 0.37 to 1.06). In addition, students at the professional programme on average have problem solving ability 11.36 scores higher than those at the academic programme (?= 11.36; 95%CI 2.00 to 20.71). This study concludes that there is a statisticallysignfificant effect of metacognitive skill on problem solving ability among medical students at the Faculty of Medicine. After controlling for confounding factors such as learning stages, age, and sex, an increase in metacognitive skill will signficantly increase problem solving ability.

This research aims to partially and collectively analyze the influence of the academic atmosphere, the provision of facilities on the work spirit of permanent lecturers and to analyze the most dominant variable in influencing the work spirit of permanent lecturers at STIE Trisna Negara OKU Timur. The regression analysis results and the correlation between academic atmosphere and employee work spirit show the regression model Ŷ = 21,908 + 0.551X1 + e with a correlation coefficient of 0.589. The results of the regression analysis and the correlation between the provision of facilities on employee work spirit show the regression model Ŷ = 46.446 + 0.027X2 + e with a correlation coefficient of 0.033. The results of multiple regression analysis and the correlation between the academic atmosphere and the provision of facilities together on work spirit show the regression model Ŷ = 19.792 + 0.553X1 + 0.043X2 + e with a correlation coefficient of 0.592 at the 95% confidence level, it is found that the academic atmosphere and provision facilities can simultaneously predict employee work spirit. From the multiple linear regression equation above, it shows that the academic atmosphere variable (X1) has a more dominant influence on employee work spirit than the provision of facilities. Initial study conducted by the researcher on nurse students undertaking clinical practice shows that the nurse students are not yet competent in nursing care. Previous study conducted by Setyaningsih and Sutiyarsih (2015) shows that 47.6% of nurses have enough ability  to guide nurse students. In response to the current facts and phenomena, a method of mentorship may be a  breakthrough  for the nurse candidates  to achieve nursing competence. The purpose of this study is to discover how how mentorship affects nurses in terms of the AKPER X students’ capability in nursing care at RS x. This is an experimental study using post test only study design. A sample of  31 students at AKPER X was used by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis is done through product moment correlation test proceeded with linear regression analysis. Research shows that 100% of the nurses are able to conduct mentorship, 100% of the students have caring capability. The result of the product moment correlation test shows that there is positive correlation between the two variables , and the result of  linear regression analysis shows the effect of nurse mentorship on students’  capability of nursing care. Analysis of the results of the study indicates that the main factor that affects the nurse mentorship is the age, while the main factor that affects students’ nursing care ability is age and sex.  Based on the study result, researchers suggests that Hospital management improve  the mentors’ competence in guiding students.; Key words : mentorship, nurses, caring capability, students

In this paper, we present a new index called min–max distance degree index, [Formula: see text] for molecular graphs. It appears that this index correlates well with properties of 33 and 28 nonanes like, energy of formation and density, and its correlation coefficient is 0.812 and 0.754, respectively. The basic mathematical features and graph operations are presented. In addition, the linear regression analysis of predicted and experimental boiling point of acyclic hydrocarbons is shown, where predicted boiling point is determined by implementing this index with Wiener’s model.

This study aimes to determine whether the perception of individual taxpayer compliance level for the implementation of self-assessment system tax evasion. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to individual taxpayers who are in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Sleman Yogyakarta (Tax Office Primary Sleman Yogyakarta). This research is a quantitative study. Sampling method is convinience sampling. Is sampling that is the distributed 70 quesionare, three of the respondents did not fill and 2 did not full completed. So, obtained data from 65 respondents. We used linear regression analysis with SPSS for Windows 17.00. We found that the perception of individual taxpayer compliance level for the implementation of self-assessment system negatively affect (tax evasion). The coesionare correlation coefficient is -0.547. It indicates that there is a moderate or fairly between individual taxpayer perception on the level of compliance on the implementation of selfassessment system for tax evasion. Negative direction indicates that the higher the perception of individual taxpayer compliance level for the implementation of self-assessment system, the lower tax evasion, or vise versa. This study aims to determine Supervision Leadership in Plant Engineering Industry, to know Discipline Employees in Industry Machinery Factory, as well as to determine whether or not Influence Between Monitoring Employee Discipline Leader Against the Machine Factory Geger Madiun County Industrial District. This research uses design conclusive studies. Data collection using questionnaires, observation, documentation and data analysis using linear regression correlation test, F test and t test. The results showed that the supervisory leaders have influence at the same time a positive relationship to discipline employees working at Plant Engineering Geger Madiun County Industrial District. It can be seen from the results of linear regression analysis of Y = 11.277 + 0.840 X. This means that if the leadership supervision increased by 1%, the discipline of employees will increase by 0.840% if other factors held constant. Based on the hypothesis testing results obtained from the correlation test showed that rhitung is 0.6727 while the value rtabel at N = 30 is 0.361. Thus H0 is rejected, meaning that there is difference between the effect of supervision led to the discipline of employees at Plant Engineering Geger Madiun County Industrial District.

ABSTRAKKecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan hasil dari kombinasi faktor-faktor penyebab  yang yang terdiri dari faktor manusia, kendaraan, jalan, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel dominan dari beberapa faktor penyebab kecelakaan dengan memodelkan hubungan antara angka korban kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan variabel faktor penyebab kecelakaan di Jalan Tol Purbaleunyi pada tahun 2015–2017. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa data sekunder yang terdiri dari data jumlah korban dan jumlah kecelakaan yang diakibatkan oleh faktor-faktor penyebab kecelakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis regresi linear berganda dengan melakukan uji linearitas dan uji korelasi terlebih dahulu. Uji linearitas digunakan untuk memastikan apakah data yang akan dianalisis dapat menggunakan analisis regresi linear atau tidak, sedangkan uji korelasi digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara variabel baik antara sesama variabel bebas maupun antara variabel peubah bebas dengan variabel peubah tidak bebas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2015–2017, variabel utama faktor kecelakaan diakibatkan oleh faktor manusia dan faktor kendaraan yaitu variabel mengantuk ( ) dan rem blong ( ).Kata kunci: Kecelakaan lalu lintas, faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas, regresi linear berganda. ABSTRACTTraffic accidents are the result of a combination of factors causes which consists of the human factor, vehicle, road, and environment. This study aims to determine the majority of the accidents variable of several factors that cause accidents by modeling the relationship between the numbers of traffic accident victims with variable factors causing the accident on Highway Purbaleunyi in 2015–2017. The data used in this study of secondary data consists of data on the number of victims and the number of accidents caused by factors that cause accidents. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis to test the linearity and correlation test beforehand. Linearity test used to determine whether the data will be analyzed using linear regression analysis or not, whereas the correlation test was used to determine the relationship between both variables among the independent variables and the independent variables with the variable variable variable is not free. Based on the results of research conducted in 2015–2017, the main variable of the accident factor is caused by human factors and vehicle factors, which are variable drowsiness ( ) and brake failure ( ).Keywords: Traffic accidents, the causes of traffic accidents, multiple linear regression.

Abstrak. Biro perjalanan wisata merupakan salah satu usaha pariwisata yang sangat mendukung perkembangan pariwisata. Sama seperti usaha lainnya yang memiliki tujuan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar sebagai tolak ukur dari kesuksesan usahanya, biro perjalanan wisata juga harus berhasil menjual paket wisata sebagai produk usahanya dalam jumlah yang tinggi. Untuk tercapainya tujuan ini maka biro perjalanan wisata harus melakukan berbagai kegiatan promosi dan mengeluarkan sejumlah biaya untuk melakukan kegiatan tersebut. Pasir Putih Adventure adalah salah satu biro perjalanan wisata di Sabang yang aktif dalam melakukan promosi usahanya baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana, analisis koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi dan uji-t. Analisis linier regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Y = 28,401+0,015X (jika biaya promosi sama dengan nol maka penjualan paket wisata meningkat sebesar 28,401), nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,662 (hubungan antar kedua variabel kuat), koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,439 dan nilai uji-t adalah thitung ttabel = 4,147 1,717 , artinya promosi pada biro perjalanan wisata Pasir Putih Adventure berpengaruh secara positif terhadap jumlah penjualan paket wisata.The Effect of Promotion on Tour Package Sale (A Case Study on Pasir Putih Adventure Travel Bureau In Sabang)Abstract. Travel bureau  is one of the tourism businesses that strongly supports the development of tourism. Just like any other business that has the goal of gaining big profits as a benchmark for its business success, travel agency must also succeed in selling tour packages as a product of their business in high numbers. To achieve this goal, the travel bureau must carry out various promotional activities and spend a number of costs to carry out these activities. Pasir Putih Adventure is one of the travel bureau in Sabang that active in promoting its business both nationally and internationally. The methods used in this analysis is simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination and t-test. Simple linear regression analysis shows that Y = 28,401 + 0,015X  (if the promotion costs equal to zero then the tour package sales increase by 28,401), the correlation coefficient value is 0,662 (the relationship between the two strong variables), the coefficient of determination is 0,439 and the t-test value is tsearch ttable = 4,147 1,717 meaning that the promotion of the Pasir Putih Adventure travel bureau has a positive effect on the number of the tour package sale.

Introduction: Nurses' job satisfaction is a serious issue for health care systems so that decreased job satisfaction can cause problems for nurses and health systems. Job satisfaction can be affected by sleep quality and the morningness- eveningness preference (chronotypes) of nurses. The present study aimed to determine the predictive power of job satisfaction by sleep quality and morningness-eveningness chronotypes of nurses working in Urmia teaching hospitals in 2020. Methods: A total of 327 nurses working in teaching hospitals affiliated to Urmia University of Medical Sciences were enrolled in the study. Sampling was conducted using simple random method. Data were collected using Demographic information questionnaires, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire, and Composite Scale of Morningness. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, measures of central tendency, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent samples t-test, two-way ANOVA, and linear regression analysis. All statistical analysis were conducted using SPSS software version 16.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, Ill., USA). Results: The results of linear regression analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient indicated that there is a significant correlation between the job satisfaction and the sleep quality in nurses as an improvement in sleep quality leads to higher job satisfaction (P <0.01) and the sleep quality is one of the predictors of job satisfaction (P = 0.002). However, there was no significant correlation between the nurses’ job satisfaction and their morningness-eveningness chronotypes (P> 0.01). Conclusion: Nurses with higher levels of sleep quality have higher job satisfaction, although the morningness-eveningness chronotypes of nurses have no significant effect on their job satisfaction.
