AbstractThis article presents the results of part of a master’s research and aims to map and analyse research published from 2015 through 2020 at basic education level on the use of Tangram, GeoGebra and options of isometry of the plane in mathematics teaching. The methodology used was the systematic literature review and started from searches for articles and theses carried out in the journals of the Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações/Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), CAPES Banco de Teses e Dissertações/Thesis and Dissertations Bank, and Google Acadêmico/ Google Scholar. We used the pairs of descriptors GeoGebra/Tangram, Tangram/Mathematics and GeoGebra/Isometries and found 293 studies. After the selection, guided faithfully by the protocol established in the systematic review, we considered ten studies as the final sample of the review. We concluded that the works analysed point to the importance of varying methodologies and using resources such as GeoGebra and Tangram to enhance mathematics teaching. The research showed the significant contribution of GeoGebra as an incentive for the student's interest in studying the isometries of the plane. In addition, we note the importance of the Tangram used together with GeoGebra as a facilitator of the appropriation of geometric concepts, an instigator of curiosity, a propeller of creativity, and a mediator of spatial perception. However, we perceived a gap in this list of studies. We did not find studies that used these three elements simultaneously: GeoGebra, Simetria, and Tangram. It is from this new perspective, from this gap, that we are organising this research, i.e., in the light of the theory of activity, we want to investigate the mathematical strategies of the students involved in those isometric constructions, during the formation of the Tangram figures in the environment of the GeoGebra. Keywords: GeoGebra, Basic education, Tangram. AbstractThis article examines the development of the Republic of Korea’s strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with particular focus on ethical issues and the problem of politicization of public communication. Using prominent examples of stakeholders who have acted and expressed themselves in highly contradictory ways on the topic of the pandemic, we provide an analysis of how the public health policy discourse has entered into the realm of politicization and elaborate on the danger that this phenomenon poses in terms of rational debate and appropriate policy measures geared toward the public’s safety. Considering the role that the Republic of Korea have had in global media coverage of quarantine policies and epidemic prevention, we believe that our study makes a significant contribution to the literature because it provides a new perspective and insights into the forces at work within and around a prevention strategy that has both been lauded and seen as highly controversial.

There are three types of  Tuberculosis (TB) patients at Banyumas Region Hospital, namely negative  pulmonary TB, positive pulmonary TB, and extra pulmonary TB. Types of TB generally caused by age, cae of history, gender, level of education, and domicile. One of the methods that used to find a correlation between types of TB with the affect is regression analysis. This study used multinomial logistic regession analysis because types of TB is categorical and the data is 156 TB’s patients recorded at 2018/2019. The result showed that the level of education be a dominant factor to affect TB. Here, we noted that patients with basic education level have a 5,843 time odds for getting positive pulmonary TB and 2,224 times for getting extra pulmonary TB. The multinomial logistic regression model is then given as probability for getting positive pulmonary TB with factor level of education is greather than negative pulmonary TB and extra pulmonary TB.

This research presents a new perspective on optical biosensors based on zinc oxide nanoparticles. The widely known and successfully applied nanostructured material is modified by the dopant - the green phosphor Terbium, which embedded in the structure of zinc oxide and makes a significant contribution to the fluorescent response of the material in both the UV and visible spectral regions. The effect of various dopant concentrations on the fluorescence of nanostructures was studied; the nanostructures were examined by SEM.

This study was constituted with the purpose of promoting reflections on Mathematics of basic education, from a transdisciplinary view of teaching and learning processes. To do so, we aim to analyze the contributions of figures in the development of geometric thinking. We characterize this research in empirical-exploratory, because for Lakatos and Marconi (2017), this type of research distinguishes itself as a scientific process of investigation that allows the researcher to formulate questions, with three purposes: to raise hypotheses, to increase the familiarization of the researcher in order to research, modify or clarify concepts, based on a qualitative and quantitative approach, according to the depth of the discussion about the object in question. For this, we look for information in other researches, databases of universities and virtual libraries, periodicals.  We hope that the results contribute to the critical and ethical awareness from views of the importance of the development of mathematical thinking, but specifically of geometric thinking, aiming at non-rupture with arithmetic thinking, in order to interweave with algebraic thinking . We consider this research relevant because mathematics teaching is based on abstract content that often makes no sense to the student, and here we show a part of mathematics that is formal but can be fun when well crafted in the classroom. Finally, we present pedagogical tools of innovation, aimed at contributing to the emancipation of the knowledge of this science, without ruptures. Keywords: Geometric thinking. Figurative numbers. Mathematics Teaching.

Design process has its own structure which is affected by many aspects. Moreover, there are many tools that contribute in this multidimensional process. Within the framework of this chapter, the tectonics is suggested as a directive tool through the design process. Istanbul Technical University Interior Design students' second year studio, where tectonics was used as a spatial perception tool, was examined. The main title of the studio was festival space design, where festivals were discussed as a performance scene for urban interiors. The main idea of suggested method is to consider environmental aspects in different scales and project those findings to tectonics. The main purpose of this project is to create a new perspective to interior design studio approach. The subject of the project was shaped within the framework of testing that interior architecture is not independent from architectural elements contextually and phenomenologically and that environmental decisions and architectural tectonics can be used as a data to put forth the new ideas for interior design methodology.
