ABSTRAKHasil pre-observasi menunjukkan guru PKn di kelas II SDN 2 Kajoran, Klaten Selatan, belum pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran. Nilai PKn siswa pada Ujian Tengah Semester masih rendah. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dengan menggunakan media gambar. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: 1. Bagaimana proses pembelajaran selama pra siklus PKn siswa kelas II SDN 2 Kajoran, Klaten Selatan? 2. Seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas II SDN 2 Kajoran, Klaten Selatan, setelah menggunakan media gambar? Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar post test, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1. Proses pembelajaran selama pra siklus tidak menarik. 2. Pembelajaran PKn menggunakan gambar pada siklus I menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 85,7 dengan kriteria “baik” dan ketuntasan belajar 60% atau 6 dari 10 siswa tuntas. Siklus II menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 87,5 dengan kriteria “baik” dan ketuntasan belajar 80% atau 8 dari 10 siswa tuntas. Hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PKn meningkat setelah menggunakan media gambar. Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar kognitif, PKn, dan Media gambar

This study aims to analyze empirically the influence of lifestyle and learning motivation on Civic Education achievement of SMAN 1 Kec. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar students. This type of research is causative research. The population in this study were all students of SMAN 1 Kec. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The sample was chosen randomly as many as 23 students in class XII. The data used in the study are primary data derived from randomly distributed questionnaires. This study uses multiple regression analysis with SPSS 21 software. The results of the study indicate that lifestyle variables (X1) have a significant positive effect on student learning achievement (Y). Learning motivation variable (X2) has no significant effect on student learning achievement.

The major purpose of this study was to explore the learning outcomes on marine education for 3rd graders in Taipei. A quasi-experimental design with a single group was used in this study. Students in the experimental group (N=56) were given eight weeks of marine education activities and a one-day field trip at Tamsui River Estuary Park in New Taipei city. Two research instruments were used in this study, including a Marine Education Achievement Test and an Attitude towards Marine Education Scale. The results were obtained by t-test analysis. The results of this study were (1) the Marine Education Achievement Test showed students in the post-test achieved higher scores than in the pre-test (t = 14.21, p .001); and (2) the Attitude towards Marine Education Scale showed students in the post-test had higher scores than in the pre-test (t = 4.28, p .001). Therefore, it can be concluded the marine education activities and field trip were effective for 3rd graders’ learning on marine education in this study.

The aims of this research are: (1) to investigate the effectiveness of Quantum  Learning  of EEL Dr. C in maximizing students’ civics education achievement, (2) to find out to what extent Quantum Learning of EEL Dr. C influences students’ civics education achievement. This is a quantitative research study which applied quasi-experimental research design. A total number of 60 students of State Primary School 1 Cirendeu,  Ciputat, South Tangerang, Indonesia participated in this study.These subjects were directly assigned into experimental and control classes. A set of multiple choice pre- and post-test was used to collect the data after being validated. The independent t-test was used in analyzing the data. The findings of the research revealed that there is a significant difference of mean scores of students’ civics education achievement in which those in experimental group reached higher mean score than those in the control group. Thus, the conclusion of this study responsed to the aims of the research as follows: (1) Quantum Learning Cycles of EEL Dr. C is effective in maximizing students’ achievement; (2)

This study aims to analyze the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to develop learning motivation and learning outcomes in citizenship education learning. The use of PBL models in this study aims to help students develop investigative skills to be able to solve the problem at hand. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and is used in the pre-test and post-test design groups. The subjects in this study were 34 students in SMP Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used "t" test with SPSS 16 assistance program and N-gain score test. The results of this study indicate that the PBL learning model on the values of the Pancasila material as a basis for the country and the national outlook on life significantly influence student motivation and learning outcomes. In this case, the PBL model can develop learning motivation and learning outcomes in the medium category.

This study examines the relationship between value of morality to the civic education for the secondary school students. Chi-Square was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study were revealed that a significant correlation was proven by value of moral (X) to civics education achievement (Y) with the Chi Square coefficient  = 46.09 that was greater (>) than -table 9.49 at the significance level 0.05 and df = 4.  It meant that the more teaching of value of moral was good, the civics education achievement became more and more raising, too.

One of the efforts made to produce quality human resources in a developing country like Indonesia is to carry out development in all fields. In the field of education, various efforts to improve the quality of education are always carried out. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of Mind Mapping method on the critical thinking skills of grade X students in civic education learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study using quantitative approach. The research sample was 62 students divided into 2 classes who were selected using random sampling technique. Data were collected by conducting pre-test and post-test. Hypothesis testing using t-test analysis with a significance level of the analysis results was determined at 5%. The result showed that there was an effect of the implementation of Mind Mapping method in learning civic education on the critical thinking skills of class X students. This is indicated by the increase of  of the post-test that is 7.923. In addition, the ttable on df 60 was 2.000, and the significance value of 0.000 was smaller than the significance level of 5% (0.000 < 0.05). Mind mapping as a learning method can be used as a solution to improve students' critical thinking in the learning process in order to achieve learning goals.

The purpose of this study was to explain the feasibility of learning using the team games tournament-based Ranking One Civic Education (ROCE) model in teaching and learning activities on Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) subjects and to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes after the ROCE Game-based learning method was applied to PPKn subjects. This study used a classroom action research approach with qualitative and quantitative data as material for analysis. This study used two cycles with two meetings for each cycle. As for the process of implementing the ROCE Game, it was found that 13-14 indicators were carried out well in cycle I, while in the learning process in cycle II, an average of 15 indicators were obtained from a total of 17 indicators of learning implementation by teachers. In the first cycle, an average of 11 indicators was obtained and in the second cycle, an average of 12-13 indicators was obtained from a total of 14 indicators of learning implementation by students. The increase in learning outcomes taken based on the post-test score in cycle I was 77.7%, then an increase in the post-test score in cycle II became 86.1%. So, tournament-based teams games learning model Ranking One Civic Education could increase student learning outcomes.

Zusammenfassung. Ziel war es, die Effektivität zweier Interventionen zur Förderung der Lesekompetenz von Fünftklässlern zu untersuchen. Beide Treatments wurden von Regellehrkräften implementiert. Die eine Intervention war das reziproke Lehren, welches um Selbstregulationsprozeduren angereichert wurde (RT+SRL). Die zweite war eine von Lehrkräften konzipierte lesestrategiebasierte Unterrichtseinheit (Good Practice, GP). Zusätzlich gab es eine No-Treatment-Kontrollgruppe (KG0). Insgesamt nahmen an der Studie N = 244 Schüler teil. Im Rahmen eines Pre-, Post-, Follow-Up-Test-Untersuchungsplans kamen standardisierte Leseverständnisaufgaben, selbstkonstruierte Lesestrategieaufgaben und eine Selbstwirksamkeitsskala zum Einsatz. Kontrastierende Einzelvergleichsanalysen ergaben, dass sich die Schüler der Treatmentbedingung RT+SRL im Vergleich zu den Schülern der Kontrollgruppe zum Post-Test signifikant stärker im Leseverständnis, in der Lesestrategieanwendung und in der Selbstwirksamkeit verbesserten. Gleiches galt für die Lesestrategieanwendung zum Follow-Up-Test. Schüler der Bedingung GP konnten im Vergleich zu KG0-Schülern weder zum Post- noch zum Follow-Up-Test vorteilige Ergebnisse in den drei Kriteriumsmaßen erzielen.

Zusammenfassung. Das Ziel vorliegender Studie bestand in einer Überprüfung der Akzeptanz und Teilnehmerzufriedenheit eines Gruppentrainings für Eltern von Kindern mit Lese- und/oder Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten. Zudem sollten erste Indikatoren bezüglich der Wirksamkeit des Programmes untersucht werden. Dazu wurden Daten von 25 Müttern zu 2 Messzeitpunkten (Post-Test, 3-Monats-Follow-up) analysiert. Die Probandinnen nahmen über einen Zeitraum von 3 Monaten an 5 Sitzungen des Programms «Mein Kind mit Lese- und Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten verstehen, stärken und unterstützen: Heidelberger Elterntraining zum Umgang mit LRS» teil. Ein Paper-Pencil-Fragebogen diente zum Post-Test der Erhebung von Teilnahmeparametern, der Zufriedenheit mit dem Training, der Relevanz einzelner Themen und der wahrgenommenen Veränderungen in wichtigen Zielbereichen. Zusätzlich kam eine für das Gruppensetting adaptierte Form des Goal Attainment Scaling zum Einsatz, um das Erreichen persönlich relevanter Ziele unmittelbar nach dem Training sowie 3 Monate später zu erfassen. Die Analyse des Fragebogens zeigte eine hohe Partizipationsbereitschaft der Mütter. Die Rahmenbedingungen des Trainings (Gruppengröße, Dauer des Trainings und der Sitzungen) sowie die didaktischen Methoden wurden als ideal und die Themen als relevant eingeschätzt. Die Mütter sahen sich in der Lage, die Inhalte im Alltag anzuwenden und nahmen positive Veränderungen hinsichtlich Einfühlungsvermögen, Unterstützung des Kindes, Hausaufgabensituation und Beziehung zum Kind wahr. Das Ausmaß des Erreichens individueller Ziele zum Post-Test variierte je nach Zielbereich: Einfühlen und Verstehen (75 %), Optimierung der Hausaufgabensituation (76 %), Unterstützung psychosozialer Entwicklung (86 %), Lese-Rechtschreibförderung (60 %) und war auch 3 Monate später noch vergleichbar hoch. Die Überprüfung der Wirksamkeit hinsichtlich einer Belastungsreduktion und Kompetenzstärkung seitens der Eltern erfolgt aktuell im Vergleich zu einer unbehandelten Kontrollgruppe.
