This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in understanding of Student Polite regarding the provision of Group Guidance Services based on the Dandang Tingang Philosophy. This study used the Pure Experimental Research approach. The design used is the pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the results of research conducted at Palangka Raya Muhammadiyah Middle School with the results of the calculation of paired sample test with t count on the results of the Pre-test the value of t = 1,088 = and t table 2,10 which shows no difference between the control group and the experimental and postal results -test value t = 5.696 = and t table 2.10 price t count = t table so that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted it can be said if the experimental group gets better results compared to the control group. In the results of the Pre-test which showed no difference between the experimental and control groups and after being given treatment through group guidance services in the experimental group, the results of the post-test showed there were differences between the control and experimental groups. It can be concluded if the implementation of group guidance services in the experimental class is effective in increasing the understanding of students manners.

The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas with students with a high level of anxiety, which has been revealed from the results of the anxiety scale questionnaire using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. This research was used with an experimental method consisting of an experimental group and a control group. From the treatment, the results showed pre-test 12.55 in the high category and post-test 7.852 in the medium category. This shows changes in the results before and after the treatment is given. It can be concluded that the effect of the use of music (Mozart) can reduce student anxiety before the test.

This research is motivated by the problems of students who fail to achieve happiness in their lives; this is caused by the inability of students to make adjustments to all forms of change in maintaining survival. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are to provide group guidance services with game techniques. This study aims to test whether the game technique in group guidance services is effective for improving students' self-adjustment. The method used in this research is experimental research using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed that there was a change in the mean value at the pre-test of 93.43 for the experimental class and 92.57 for the control class and the mean value at the post-test of 151.64 for the experimental class and 98.71 for the control class. So that the mean value at the time of post-test increased by 58.21 for the experimental group and 06.14 for the control group. These changes mean that group guidance with game techniques is empirically proven to be effective in increasing student adaptation

The objective of the study was to find out whether the group guidance services could improve students' social interaction. This research uses a quantitative approach through experiment. In this study, the subjects from the study were 26 students divided into an experimental group of 13 students and control group of 13 students. Data collected by questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed that social interaction ability of experiment class students can be improved after receiving group guidance service. As for the control class which was not given group guidance service, the result showed that the level of social interaction ability did not increase significantly. These results illustrate that social interaction can be enhanced through group guidance services.

This study aims to determine whether group guidance services can improve the assertiveness of class IX students of SMPN 1 Sakra. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling, by randomly taking 20 students. Methods of collecting data using a psychological scale. Validity test: Product Moment correlation formula and reliability: Alpha formula. Sample homogeneity: Chi quadratic formula. Data analysis: Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the pre test average student assertiveness in the experimental group 57% (low) and the control group 61% (moderate). Whereas in the post test results in the experimental group after being given group guidance services, the average student assertiveness became 75% (high) and the post test results of the average assertiveness of the control group students who were not given group guidance services became 62% (moderate). Wilcoxon test results obtained Thitung = 6 and Ttabel = 8. If Thitung <Ttabel then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Because Thitung <Ttabel then there is a significant difference between the value of the post test of the two sample groups, it means that group guidance services can improve student assertiveness.

The research methodology used was quasi experiment. The subjects of this study were 8 grade students of MTsN 6 & MTsN 2 Padang with 10 subjects in the experimental group and 10 in the control group. The research instrument used instrument of academic anxiety. The results showed that there were significant differences in the academic anxiety of the experimental group before (pretest) and after (posttest) taking group guidance services with bibliotherapy and could not have a significant difference in the control group's academic anxiety before (pretest) and after (posttest). This research was categorized as a quasi experimental research which applied the non equivalent control group design. The population of the research was the students in class X of SMK Negeri 9 Padang. By using purposive sampling technique, 9 students in class X JB 7 were chosen as the experimental group, and 9 students in class X PH 5 were taken as the control group. The instrument used to collect the data was the scale Likert model. The data obtained were analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Rank and Kolmogorov Smirnov 2 Independent Samples. The result of the research indicated that: (1) there was a different between self concept of the students in the experimental class in pretest and in posttest, (2) there was no significant different between self-concept of the students in the control group in pretest and in posttest, and (3) there was a significant different between the self concept of the students in the experimental group and in the control group in posttest. Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that group guidance service by using audio visual media was effective to improve the students’ self-concept. It was suggested to the upcoming researcher to use the research findings as basis for conducting researches related to the use of audio visual media in group guidance service to improve the students’ self concept.

The problem that still often occurs in the educational environment is the lack of motivation to learn in students. Each student has a different level of learning motivation, ranging from low, medium, to high learning motivation. The low motivation of students to learn occurs in the lack of a sense of student awareness of the importance of learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to increase learning motivation, using group guidance with self-regulated learning techniques. RS). Self-regulated learning (SRL) is important to be given to students so that students can increase their awareness of their learning motivation. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design with an experimental control group design. The results of this study indicate that there are differences before and after the group guidance action with self-regulated learning (SRL) techniques is carried out. So it can be proven that group guidance with self-regulated learning (SRL) techniques can increase the learning motivation of vocational students. SRL can increase students' awareness of learning motivation so that it can be taken into consideration in group guidance services for BK.

This research were to see the difference between learning motivation of students in the experimental group taught by applying group guidance service through understanding the verses of Alquran in pretest and posttest, the difference between learning motivation of the students in the experimental group taught by applying group guidance service throught understanding the verses of Alquran and that of the students in the countrol group taught by applying group guidance service without understanding the verses of  Alquran in pretest and posttest, and the difference between learning motivation of the students in the  experimental group guidance services throught understanding the verses of a Alquran and that of students in the control group guidance taught by applying group guidance service throught understanding the verses of Alquran. This research aplied pretest posttest control group design. Throught this research, the researcher gave a pretest to both sample groups. They then got different treatment. After the  treatment was done, a posttest was administrated to both groups. This kind of eksperimental researches would ensure that the difference (if the result is different) occurs between the experimental group and the control group is as the influence of the treatment given. The resesarch findings indicated that learning motivation of the students taught by applying group guidance service throught understanding the verses of Alquran increased.
