The purpose of this study is to facilitate the understanding of students in the implementation of the practice of motorcycle technology courses. The research method used is a qualitative method. Retrieval of data includes observation, study of literature and documentation. To strengthen the results of the study are complemented by test results that have close relevance to the subject matter. Based on the test results that have been achieved from the whole process of making and testing the injection system fuel flow trainer on a Honda beat fi motorcycle, it shows that all components of the trainer can function properly and can be used as an effective learning media. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memudahkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan praktik mata kuliah teknologi sepeda motor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Pengambilan data meliputi observasi, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian dilengkapi dengan hasil pengujian yang yang memiliki relevansi yang erat dengan pokok permasalahan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dicapai dari keseluruhan proses pembuatan dan pengujian trainer aliran bahan bakar sistem injeksi pada sepeda motor honda beat fi menunjukkan semua komponen pada trainer dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan menjelaskan setiap tahap proses revitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Selayar Art untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Pakarena Laiyolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan interaksi analisis. Hasil penelitian yaitu memaparkan hasil kajian berupa proses yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Selayar Art dalam upaya melestarikan tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: Sanggar Selayar Art, tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />ABSTRACT</p><p><br />This article is the result of a study that focuses on the subject matter of how the process of revitalization of Pakarena Laiyolo dance is by Sanggar Selayar Art. The purpose of this study was to understand and explain each stage of the revitalization process carried out by the Selayar Art studio in order to revive Pakarena Laiyolo dance. The research method used is qualitative research method with an interaction analysis approach. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in Civics in 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Kauman, Yogyakarta using Problem Based Learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of the study were 5th grade students of B1 SD Muhammadiyah Kauman. The object of research is the whole process and the results of learning Civics with the application of Problem Based Learning model. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Yogyakarta in April until May 2017. Data collection techniques used were observation, diary, interview and test. Data analysis technique is done descriptively qualitative. This research was conducted in 2 cycles by applying problem based learning model. The learning steps that were implemented were changes in the delivery of the subject matter, the students analyzed the problem, the formation of the discussion group with the grouping of students based on their achievement, the students in group for discussion, the group members delivered the discussion result in front of the class.The results showed that the critical thinking ability of the 5th grade students of B1 SD Muhammadiyah Kauman, Yogyakarta increased after the use of Problem Based Learning model in Civics learning with the subject matter of the example of central and regional legislation. This improvement is evident in the improvement of students' critical thinking skill test result from 12.90% pretreatment score to 51.61% (enough) in cycle I and increased to 70.96% (good) in cycle II. The results of activity observations related to students' critical thinking skills are increased among others: active students in learning, students more freely in finding and collecting desired information, and students also have more opportunities to learn with friends.

In reality, not a few teachers who have been certified as educators are less competent in teaching the field of study. Many teachers are also able to master the subject matter, but they have difficult to present the material. This research applied a qualitative method using a case study design. It was carried out in the State Madrasah schools of Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. This research was conducted from August to 02 November 2017. The subjects of this study were 3 Arabic teachers, two principals and 6 class students totaling 12 informants. Based on the results, it was found that the pedagogic competence of Arabic language teachers was still relatively low due to the several indicators that were not implemented during the learning process. The personality’s competence of Arabic language teachers is relatively good compared to their pedagogical competence. The lacks of training, facilities, and rewards have caused the low educational competence of teachers. Their personal competence is due to strict supervision and their commitment to building the ummah as followers of religion and not because of their profession as teachers. Students are motivated to learn Arabic due to the motivation is given by the teacher, the mu'amalah is good between teachers and students, and there is a continuous and rigorous evaluation.

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning result and activities by using the cooperative learning model of Talking Chips type on the subject matter of Biodiversity in class X MIA1 MAN 1 Medan T.P. 2018/2019. The research method is classroom action research and the subject of this research are students of class X MIA1 as many as 35 people. The instrument that used in the study are test of student learning result namely pretest and postest as many as 30 questions and observation sheets of student activities. The results showed that based on the learning result of the first cycle, the average score of pretest was 40.6 increased to 68.6 in the postest. At the second cycle, there was an increase from 62.8 in the pretest to 74.5 in the postest. In this study, the data of individual and classical learning completeness criteria are obtained as follows: as many as 30 out of 35 students or 85.72% who scored above 70 or equal to 70, and 5 other students or 14.28% got a score below 70. Based on observations of student activities, the percentage of students who were active in the first cycle was 48.2% with total of students 17 out of 35 students, and students who were active in the second cycle was 80% with total of students 28 from 35 students

This paper aims to discuss the existence of a form of gondang at the ritual ceremony of Si Pahasada, and how its function at the ritual ceremony of Si Pahasada in Huta High of North Sumatra is the subject matter to be discussed. The method used in this study is by using descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data is done through observation, interview, documentation, and bibliography. In this study it is found that there are 12 dishes reportoar gondang kesumpaan presented during this ritual. In this study also found eight functions of gondang in the ritual of Parmalim Si Pahasada, namely: 1) Aesthetic function, 2) communication functions, 3) symbolic functions, 4) physical response function, 5) enforcing social norms, 5) validation of social institutions. 6) religious ritual function, 7) cultural continuity and stability, 8) contribution to community integration.

The aim of this article is to evaluate the current situation as regards the use of dogs for various police duties in Poland based on the results of the research conducted by the author at the Police Academy in Szczytno as part of the research task, financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, entitled “Efficiency of the use of police dogs in the Polish Police”. The author has decided to deal with the subject matter in view of alarming statistics, which show a decrease in the number of police dogs. This fact has led the author to make an assumption formulated as the following research hypothesis: Nowadays, in Poland the use of police dogs in not adequate for the sake of public order and safety. The main research method has been a diagnostic survey using a tool in the form of a questionnaire. The survey has been addressed to a group of 154 dog handlers, most of whom work with a patrol and tracker/sniffer dog from three police garrisons, covering the territory of the following provinces: Kujavia-Pomerania, Podlasie and Lubuskie region. The author believes that the research findings indicate the need for changes in this respect, which should involve implementation of new systemic, organisational and legal solutions.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 10 Luwu pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Sampel diperoleh secara acak dan terpilih kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik 30 orang dan kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 32 orang. Kelompok eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning sedangkan kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model discovery learning tanpa pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan. Data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok eksperimen yaitu 81,33 dan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok kontrol yaitu 74,87. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa data terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji parametrik dengan menggunakan uji-t menghasilkan hasil belajar thitung > ttabel = 2,45 > 1,67 pada α= 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian kuis di awal pertemuan pada model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 10 Luwu pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Kata kunci: Pemberian kuis, Model discovery learning, Hasil belajar ABSTRACT This research is a Quasi-experimental that aims to know the effect of giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting on the discovery learning model to the study result of the students of class XI MIA in SMA 10 Luwu on the subject matter of the buffer solution. The research design used was the posttest only control design. The sample is taken randomly so the XI MIA 3 is chosen as the experiment group with 30 students and XI MIA 2 as the control group with 32 students. The experiment group is taught by using quizzes at the beginning of the meeting in the discovery learning model meanwhile the control group is using the Discovery Learning Model without giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting. Data result is collected by giving posttest. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average study result of the experimental group student was 81.33 and the control group students was 74.87. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneously. The hypothesis trial by using the parametric test t-test results thitung > ttabel = 2.45 > 1.67 in α = 0.05. So, it can be concluded that giving quizzes at the beginning of the meeting in the discovery learning model influencing the study result of class XI MIA students in SMA Negeri 10 Luwu on the subject matter of the buffer solution. The objectives of this literature review are; (1) To create real learning conditions for students during the Covid-19 Pandemic; (2) To find out the role of learning video media in the distance learning process; (3) To find out the effect between the use of learning video media on student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses quantitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The implementation of distance learning processes during the Covid-19 Pandemic through learning videos. The results of the data showing the implementation of the learning process based on the student's attendance rate of 94% and the results of the pre-learning video media data, especially on the interest in social studies lessons by 42% after using the learning video media increased to 77%; (2) Learning video media can help teachers deliver material and create a learning situation that is not monotonous. The results of pre-learning video media data showing that learning video media can help teachers deliver material is 42% and after using learning video media it increases to 94%; (3) Learning video media can help students understand the subject matter and complete the tasks given by the teacher. The data from the pre-learning video media showing that students can answer questions through online learning is 19% after using the learning video media, increasing to 94%; (4) Appropriate and effective learning video media in increasing motivation and learning outcomes for students during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results of pre-learning video media data showing the subject matter given to students online are very clear at 42% after using learning video media, increasing to 94%. ABSTRAKTujuan dari kajian pustaka ini adalah ; (1) Untuk menciptakan kondisi belajar yang nyata terhadap peserta didik di masa Pandemi Covid-19; (2) Untuk mengetahui peran media video pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran Jarak Jauh; (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara  penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Terselenggaranya proses belajar jarak jauh di masa Pandemi Covid-19 melalui video pembelajaran. Hasil data yang menunjukan terselenggaranya proses pembelajaran bedasarkan tingkat kehadiran peserta didik 94% dan hasil data pra media video pembelajaran khususnya pada minat pelajaran IPS sebesaar 42% setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 77%; (2) Media video pembelajaran dapat membantu guru menyampaikan materi dan menciptakan situasi pembelajaran yang tidak monoton. Hasil data pra media video pembelajaran yang menunjukan media video pembelajaran dapat membantu guru menyampaikan materi sebesar 42% dan setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 94%; (3) Media video pembelajaran dapat membantu peserta didik untuk memahami materi pelajaran dan menyelesaikan tugas yang di berikan guru. Data hasil pra media video pembelajaran yang menunjukan peserta didik dapat menjawab pertanyaan melalui pembelajaran daring sebesar 19% setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 94%; (4) Media video pembelajaran yang layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar bagi peserta didik dimasa Pandemi Covid-19. Hasil data pra media video pembelajaran yang menunjukan materi pelajaran yang diberikan kepada peseta didik melalui daring sangat jelas sebesar 42% setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 94%.

This research was aimed to determine the understanding concept of students in solving mathematics story problems CRI in terms of personality types. The research method was descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this research ware as many as 4 students, each 2 students with Extrovert personality types and 2 students with introverted personality types. Technique of Data collecting in this research using questionnaire instrument of personality type, about written story and interview. Based on the data analysis, the results of research indicate that: (1) the understanding concept of subject with extrovert personality type is at the level of ability of translation and interpretation. In solving the mathematical story problems, they are able to identify, present and apply the broad concept and circumference of the circle and provide a high CRI scale. Extrovert personality type shows that solving the subject matter is not careful, in a hurry as to dare to take risks from the work, done and to underestimate a thing, and to like the practical things. (2) the understanding concept of subject with introverted personality type is at the level of translation ability. In solving the mathematical story, they are only able to identify and present the concept of circles and provide a low CRI scale. According introverted personality type that shows in solving the subject matter are meticulous, careful, careful in solving the story problem, causing the subject with introverted personality type to be shy and not confident with the answers they write.

This article attempts to explicate importance and value of knowledge in the context of informatization, while focusing on the problem of fragmentation of human knowledge in connection with the application of ICT in the process of education (or the process of learning). The illustrative research uses quantitative research method. A questionnaire survey was carried out on a sample of respondents (n=342) described in the paper. An interpretative critical analysis is based on existing sources as well as on data from our own investigation. Based on the analysis the authors present how informatization contributes to the fragmentation of individual knowledge. The article includes the model of importance of knowledge and a (general) theoretical concept that should enable a better understanding of the subject matter. A necessity therefore arises for an adequate reaction of the education system, as well as each individual, to the conditions changed by informatization. The authors present their main recommendations on how to react to the changed conditions at the area of education.
