This study is based on the problems that exist in SMAN 1 Pariaman, namely: textbooks that are used have not involved students playing an active role in learning, the learning model that is applied is still monotonous, student notebooks are incomplete and textbooks used in schools are not yet available example or images according to the demands of basic competencies to clarify the material description. Efforts can be made is the application of biological modules with a scientific approach equipped with a glossary in Discovery Learning models on the competencies of students in Class X of SMAN 1 Pariaman.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of biological modules with a scientific approach equipped with a glossary in Discovery Learning models on the competencies of students in Class X of SMAN 1 Pariaman. This study was a quasi-experimental study with a randomized posttest control group design. The study population was tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Pariaman 2018/2019 academic year consisting of seven classes. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, the results of which were selected Class X MIPA 2 as the experimental class and Class X MIPA 3 as the control class.The results of data analysis found that the knowledge competencies data was normal and not homogeneous, competencies data on attitudes skill are homogeneous and normal. Hypothesis test results are known that knowledge competencies (7,06>1,67), attitude competencies (0,76<1,67), and skill competencies (0,93<1,67), so it can be concluded that the biological module with a scientific approach is equipped a glossary in Discovery Learning  models has a positive influence on students' knowledge competencies but does not have a positive influence on the competencies of students' attitudes and skills at SMAN 1 Pariaman.

This research is motivated by the low mastery of basic movements due to the incorrect way of doing the passing technique. How to teach volleyball games using the lecture method so as to make students less interested so that students become less active during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was effectiveness in the problem based learning model on the psychomotor outcomes of volleyball underpassing in class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Semarang and discovery learning models on psychomotor outcomes of volleyball underpassing in class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design (quasi-experimental) with the design used in this study is the Noneequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using tests. The population in this study were students of class XI SMK N 2 Semarang, with samples of class XI BDP 1 and XI UPW 1 students. The results showed that the hypothesis test was obtained t count (22.669 < 29.556) which means that the problem based learning and discovery learning models are effective in psychomotor results of passing under volleyball in class XI students of SMK N 2 Semarang. The results of the effectiveness of passing down volleyball with a problem based learning model of 83.06. While the results of the effectiveness of passing down volleyball with the discovery learning model of 89.00. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the discovery learning learning model is more effective than problem based learning exercises for the effectiveness of passing down volleyball in class XI students of SMK N 2 Semarang, because from the data the value of the discovery learning model is greater than problem based learning.

The low learning competencies of students is caused by several problems encountered during the teaching and learning process, including the problems that the first textbook used has not involved students actively playing a role in the learning process, learning is still monotonous and the student notebook is incomplete. One of the efforts that is done to increase students’ learning competencies is to apply a biological module with a scientific approach equipped with a glossary in discovery learning models. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing: (1) student learning outcomes using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software; (2) student learning outcomes taught using problem solving learning models; (3) whether there are differences in student learning outcomes who are taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. The type of this research is experimental research, using the posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon with a total of 170 students and the sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling, namely class XI MIA4 with a total of 34 students and class XI MIA5 with a total of 34 students, so the number of samples in this study namely 68 students. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument consisting of description questions for the final test. In this study, statistical analysis was used, namely t-test and the final results of the study were: (1) there were differences in student learning outcomes who were taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material. This is shown in the results of the t-test calculation, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.017 < value of =0.05, thus causing H0 to be rejected and H1 to be accepted. rejected

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dengan pendekatan scientific terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Sidrap. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “pretest posttest-only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Sidrap yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu class random sampling sehingga sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik masing- masing 36 orang. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dan variabel terikatnya yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar. Data motivasi dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis untuk pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dengan pendekatan scientific terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik menggunakan uji-t. Pengujian hipotesis untuk pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dengan pendekatan scientific terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan Mann-Whitney. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dengan pendekatan scientific terhadap motivasi hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Sidrap (Studi pada Materi Pokok Hidrokarbon). The independent variable in this study is cooperative learning model type CRH and the dependent variable is motivation and learning achievement of student’s. Motivation and learning achievement’s data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Hypothesis test for effect of cooperative learning model type CRH with scientific approach toward learning achievement of student’s using Mann-Whitney test. The result shown that there is an effect of cooperative learning model type CRH with scientific approach toward motivation and learning achievement of student Class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Sidrap (Study on Hydrocarbon). This study aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes of class X students of SMA 12 Ambon using cooperative learning model Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) and conventional learning models on trigonometric material. The type of research is experimental research (Experimental Research) with the Post-Test Only Control Group Design. The analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential test statistics consisting of normality test data, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The data are processed using SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study are (1) there are differences in learning outcomes using the cooperative learning model Student Facilitator and Explaining and conventional learning models, which shows that the value of  t_hitung  3.1128 is greater than the value of t_tabel  2.0003 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) smaller than the value of alpha 0.05 which is 0.002; (2) learning outcomes of students who use the cooperative learning model Student Facilitator and Explaining type are better when compared to those using conventional learning models

The problem in this research was the student�s result of IPA in the thematic learning at Jatimulyo Elementary School 3 are still low. The purpose of this study was to find out 1) the comparison of IPA learning outcomes in thematic learning using discovery learning models more effectively compared to those using conventional learning, and 2) the effect of group discussions in discovery learning models on IPA learning outcomes. The type of research used is experimental research with the research design is nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research were all fifth grade students of SDN 1 Jatimulyo, SDN 2 Jatimulyo, and SDN 3 Jatimulyo. The research sample was the fifth grade students of SDN 3 Jatimulyo. The sampling technique used multistage random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation and tests. Data analysis used simple linear regression test and t-test. Based on the results of hypothesis analysis was that1) the results of IPA learning in thematic learning that used the discovery learning model are more effective than those using conventional learning, and 2) the group discussion in the discovery learning model effected to the student�s IPA result in thematic learning.

The research was distributed by the low activity of learning to learners in an inclusive classroom while learning the IPA take place where student activity still centered on teachers so that students not actively in learning. This research aims to find out how big the influence of cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing against learning activities learners in learning the IPA in the VII  inclusive classroom junior high school 23 Padang. This type of research is the Quasy alphabets experiment using Control-Group design Only. This research was carried out in class VII2 as class experiments with the number of learners 32 people (with 3 learners ABK) and VII3 class as the class of the control to the number of learners 32 people (with 2 of HER students). The instruments used in the research in the form of the now learners learning activities that contains items of the statement drawn up in accordance with a predetermined indicators. Data analysis technique used is comparing the difference of two average learners with learning activities begins conducting a test of its homogeneity and normality, so that in the end done with test t (t-test).The value of the rat experimental 92.42 class average and average value of kotrol class 70.08. Hypothesis test results data learning activities students class experiments and gained control of that class Fhitung < Ftabel then the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a positive influence towards learning activities learners by implementing cooperative learning model type Snowball Throwing.

Model pembelajaran adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar peserta didik di kelas. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap prestasi belajar 70 orang peserta didik sebuah SMK, pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi, kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi prosedur pembuatan surat dinas. Dengan menggunakan non-equivalent control group design, hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning lebih cocok dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam mempelajari kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi prosedur pembuatan surat dinas, dibandingkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi para guru Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran tersebut.Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Problem Based Learning, Prestasi Belajar THE INFLUENCE OF DISCOVERY LEARNING AND PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODELS ON STUDENTS’ LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTTeaching and learning model is one of the factors influencing students’ learning achievements. This article discusses results of a quasi-experimental study which aims to investigate the influence of  discovery learning and problem-based learning models on learning achievements of 70 vocational high school students, in the subject of Correspondence (in the competence of identifying the procedure of writing official letters). Using non-equivalent control group design, results of data analysis show that discovery learning model is more suitable to improve students’ learning achievements in the competence of identifying the procedure of writing official letters, compared to problem based learning model. Thus, discovery learning is worth using by teachers of the subject to improve the learning achievements of their students in this subject. This study aims to: 1) find out how the picture of learning outcomes of students by using the Discovery The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Discovery Learning learning model and the effect of the Discovery Learning learning model in overcoming the misconception of atmospheric material. Data was collected in February-March 2020. The research design method used was an experimental method with the Pretest and Posttest control group design. In this study conducted in two classes, namely X IPS1 as an experimental class and X IPS2 in SMA Negeri 2 Makassar as a control class. The instrument used is a multiple-choice diagnostic test with the CRI (Certainity Response Index) method. The results of the study that there is an influence of student learning models regarding learning models, it can be concluded that the concept of atmospheric component components decreased misconception by 34%, the concept of weather and climate components decreased misconception by 33% and the concept of climate classification components experienced a decrease in misconception by 32%. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Discovery Learning learning model in overcoming misconceptions that occur in atmospheric material in SMA Negeri 2 Makassar.
