The problem that is often faced in the learning process is the low learning competence obtained by students. One of the factors that influence students' learning competence is self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and Biology learning competence of students in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Hiliran Gumanti. The method used is descriptive correlation using the Spearman rank formula. The results showed that there was a correlation between self-efficacy and Biology learning competence of students with a value of r=0.477 and tcount which was 3.4321 which was greater than t table, which was 2.0218. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant and positive relationship between self-efficacy and Biology learning competence of students in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Hiliran Gumanti.

The sophistication of technology and access to information in the twenty-first century pushed education providers to transform preparing students to face a more challenging future. Effective and relevant teaching and learning strategies are needed in biology learning to meet the needs of future generations. Therefore, this study aims to observe the biology learning process in one of senior high school. A qualitative research approach with an observation method was used in this study. This research was conducted in class X SMA N 1 Tanjung, Brebes, Central Java. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation check list, questionnaires, and interviews. Observation of the biology learning process carried out focused on the lesson plan document, learning process, and interviews as well as student and teacher questionnaires on the biology learning process. The data collection process was carried out 3 times. The results obtained from this study indicate that teachers already know the demands of the curriculum and the needs of the 21st century. This can be seen from the of lesson plans made by the teacher. However, other findings from this study are, the skills of teachers in implementing the lesson plan with discovery learning methods are still not optimal. Learning activities undertaken have not yet led to the provision of student skills needed in 21st century. This research is expected to be used as a reference for improving the process of learning biology

Learning concentration becomes an important requirement in learning activities. This should be the concern of all educators, if they want to achieve their educational goals. In this context, this research with the theme of spiritual intelligence, social intelligence and self efficacy in solving a problem is very important to be implemented.This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study all students of class XI in Senior High School 4 Madiun, amounting to 136 students, because more than 100, the study used a sample of 34 students. The data collection techniques use documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique uses multiple linear analysis, the coefficient of determination, which is preceded by an assumption test of analysis, namely the validity test, reliability test, normality, linearity test and hypothesis test.This study wants to see, [1] the relationship of spiritual intelligence to self efficacy, [2} the relationship of social intelligence to self efficacy, and [3] the relationship of spiritual intelligence and social intelligence to self efficacy in class XI Senior High School 4 Madiun. The results of this study indicate that: [1] significant influence between spiritual intelligence on self efficacy, denger regression coefficient of spiritual intelligence variable is 0.694 [2] significant influence of social intelligence on self efficacy, with regression coefficient of social intelligence variable of 0.543 and [3] significant influence spiritual intelligence and social intelligence together towards self efficacy.

Education is a conscious and planned effort to develop the potential of students through learning activities. The achievement of learning activities can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained by students. This learning outcome is related to the competence of students. There are several factors that influence learning outcomes, one of which is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is needed to see students' confidence in learning activities such as biology. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and the biology learning competence of students. The type of research is descriptive with the type of correlation. The population of this research is students at Senior High School Pertiwi 2 Padang, totaling 70 people with a sampling technique that is saturation sampling. The data of this study are self-efficacy obtained through questionnaires and data on the biology learning competence of students obtained from the odd semester final exam. Data analysis in this study was carried out by statistical test, namely Pearson Product Moment. The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between self-efficacy and the biology learning competence of students. The correlation coefficient values obtained indicate a low relationship between self-efficacy and the biology learning competence of.

In the 4.0 revolution era, various skills are needed, one of which is innovation and learning skills known as 4C. The use of learning media in the learning process can help students improve understanding to conclude information and the learning process becomes more interesting when using the right media. Biology learning is also supported by understanding material through learning media, one of which is LKPD because it requires students to understand the material and students will be motivated because at the end of learning students will find understanding of concepts so that learning objectives will be achieved. Based on the questionnaire that has been given to students of class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences which consists of 6 classes via google form, students are very interested in using LKPD because it makes it easier for students to understand the material that has been given and as many as 96% of students consider that the use of LKPD is very important. in the learning process. The advantage of the LKPD is that it will have a positive impact on the understanding of students and increase the value after using the LKPD.

Test is an activity used as indicators success of education that applies to all subjects including biology. Unfortunately, there are assumption that biology is a boring subject , too much memorizing, and that is not relevant for our life. It can increase the anxiety experienced by students during the tested. This study aimed  to determine the relationship between test anxiety level and Learning Biology Motivation. This study was conducted in 21 Senior High School Jakarta on January until February 2016. Research method used in this study was correlational study. Population from this study were X MIA students. A total of 122 students used for this study were taken by Simple Random Sampling. Prerequisites tests data was homogeneous and normally distributed. Correlation test resulted -0,398 which means there was a relationship between test anxiety level with biology learning motivation level on X MIA Students 21 Senior High School Jakarta. Regulation test resulted Ŷ = 85.725 - 0.312x, with X is test anxiety level and Y is biology learning motivation level. Determination coefficients resulted 0.159 that mean test anxiety have a contribution 15.9% determined learning motivation, while the other factor have a contribution too.

Reading is one of the important aspects of language learning. By reading, the learners get knowledge and information. But in reality, students are often ignoring to mastering this skill. It is the researchers found in the second grade of SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Kartikatama Metro Lampung Indonesia, where students have difficulty in reading comprehension, so this leads to lower their learning. Therefore, to improve students' reading comprehension ability, researchers used Written Retelling Strategy (WRS) in the learning process.        The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of Retelling Written Strategy (WRS) has a positive effect on students' reading comprehension in learning English. Written Retelling Strategy (WRS) considered as one strategy that makes students more active and fun in the learning process to comprehend some text.        Forms of this research are Quantitative Research conducted in two classes. Each class is divided into the trial and reserve grade. Author implements True Experimental Design (Pure Research) by applying a pre-test and post-test as an instrument. In accordance with the method of this study, the data were analyzed using t-test that allows knowing the difference between the experimental group that used a class of written retelling strategy and the control group who did not use written retelling strategy. Finally, the research data show that t observations = 3,590 and is included in the category of high impact. Furthermore, t observation T Table consult with a significance level of 5% = 2.010 and 1% = 2,682, the data states that t observations greater than the T Table, this could mean that Hi is received. And could mean that there is a positive and significant influence between experiment class and class control on the use of written retelling strategy at second grade of Senior High School  Kartikatama Metro.

This study was conducted aiming at examining: (1) the divergent principles of politeness in students’ directive speech act (2) factors affecting politeness and impoliteness in verbal and non-verbal directive speech act produced by students at grade X in Senior High School 1 Mataram in the learning process. The subject of this study are teachers teaching Bahasa Indonesia, English, Economy, History, Math, Religion, Civic, and Science, and all students at Grade X of Science 1, Science 3 and Social 2 in Senior High School 1 Mataram. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. The data source in this study is the number of utterances produced by students and teachers in the learning process. The data were collected through observation. This study revealed that: (1) there were divergent principles of politeness in participants’ directive speech act namely single and multiple divergent principles of politeness affected by speaker intentionally accused addressees, intentionally uttered by neglecting the context, was protective to other arguments, showed emotional feeling, given critiques in impolite words and mocked at other; and (2) there were factors affecting politeness and impoliteness in verbal and non-verbal directive speech act produced by students in learning process namely linguistic factor and non-linguistic factor.

The lack of Biology teaching materials in senior high school in the Kerinci District has promoted this research. The purpose of this development research is to produce e-modules as teaching materials used by students in Biology subjects. The model used in developing this e-module is the 4-D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Biology e-modules on plantae and animalia material based on the potential of the Kerinci region were validated by media and material experts. The results of the media expert validation obtained the final percentage of 90% (very valid category) and the material expert validation obtained a percentage of 75% (valid category). From the results of the field test, the teacher responded that the e-modules produced were suitable for use in biology class X high school learning with a percentage of 92.5% (very good category). Furthermore, e-module trials on students obtained responses that the products produced were also proper to be used in biology learning in class X of senior high school. The small group test obtained a score of 85% (excellent category) and the large group test obtained score 78.3% (good category). The use of the developed e-modules in learning resulted in a score of 76.3% (successful category).
