The problem in this research is the lack of ability of the athlete basketball chest pass Batavia club Padang. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of weight training is there to use the tool in the ability of the athlete basketball chest pass Batavia club Padang. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The research was conducted on July 4 until August 7th, 2019 in Padang Development high school basketball court. The population in this study as many as 22 people consisting of 10 sons and 12 daughters. The sample in this study is the son of basketball athletes sma level of development of Padang about 10 people. The study was conducted as many as 16 times in one week a meeting where there are four times the exercise. Instruments in this study using Wallbounce Basketball Passing Test. Data analysis techniques in this study using the formula t test. From the research and hypothesis testing can be concluded that there is a significant effect of strength training using a tool on the ability of the athlete basketball chest pass Batavia club Padang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dumbbell arm swings terhadap kelentukan togok dan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah the non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 44 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sit and reach test dan pull and push test. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi () 0,05 dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS 16,0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dengan menggunakan uji-t independent untuk data kelentukan togok diperoleh nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05) yaitu sebesar 0,000. Sedangkan untuk data kekuatan otot lengan diperoleh nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05) yaitu sebesar 0,000. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan dumbbell arm swings berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kelentukan togok dan peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan pada siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli di SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci : dumbbell arm swings, kelentukan, kekuatan Abstract This research was aimed to finding out the effect of dumbbell arm swings training upon extracurricular of volleyball students' flexibility and strength in senior high school 1 Gianyar in the academic year of 2015-2016. The research was designed in a quasi experimental research with the non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this research were 44 peoples from extracurricular of volleyball students of senior high school 1 Gianyar in the academic year of 2015-2016. The instruments were sit and reach test and pull and push test. The data were analyzed by independent t-test with () 0,05 significance. It was analyzed with SPSS 16,0. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found that the students' flexibility has lower significance value than α (Sig < 0,05), that is 0,000. On the other hands, the students' strength has lower value than α (Sig < 0,05), that is 0,000. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that dumbbell arm swings training significant improved the flexibility and strength of the volleyball students of senior high school 1 Gianyar academic year of 2015/2016. keyword : dumbbell arm swings, flexibility, strength

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of collaborative learning using open-ended approach and open-ended approach in terms of problem solving skillss students. This study is a quasi-experimental research with the entire population of ten graduate science students of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta which consists of four classes. The research samples were randomly selected from the four existing classes, in order to obtain class X MIPA 3 to be given collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and class X MIPA 1 to be given open-ended approach. Data analysis technique consists of one sample t-test used to investigate the effectiveness of collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and open-ended approach. The results show that collaborative learning model using open-ended approach is effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. But, open-ended approach isn’t effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This research aim is to know the effect of ecopedagogy model on aspect of ecological competence high school students. This study was quasi-experimental research with the Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. The research subjects consisted of two classes namely XI IIS II as the experimental class and XI IIS I as the control class. This study was conducted at MAN 1 Sintang. The data analysis used independent sample t-test which showed that the ecopedagogy model had an effect on ecological competence students. From the results of the posttest, it can be seen that the experimental class has higher value rather than the control class.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model <em>ecopedagogy</em> terhadap aspek kompetensi ekologis siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan <em>Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group</em>. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu XI IIS II sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IIS I sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 1 Sintang. Analisis data menggunakan uji <em>independent sample t-test</em><em> </em>yang<em> </em>menunjukkan bahwa model <em>ecopedagogy</em> berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi ekologis siswa SMA. Dari hasil <em>posttest </em>kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol.

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan menggiring bola siswa belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dengan memberikan suatu perlakuan yaitu latihan dribble 20 yards square. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen menggiring bola. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data uji pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan dribble 20 yards square memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai t-hitung 8,48 > t-tabel 2,045. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dribble 20 yards square memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menggiring pada siswa ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMA Negeri 1 Pagar Dewa Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat.ABSTRACTThe problem in this study is that the ability to dribble students is not optimal. This study aims to determine the difference in influence by giving a treatment that is the exercise of 20 yards square dribble. The type of research used is an experiment with a sample of 30 people. Data collection techniques using dribbling instruments. Data analysis uses influence test data analysis techniques. The results showed that the training of dribble 20 yards square had a significant effect with t-count 8.48> t-table 2.045. The results of this study indicate that the training of dribble 20 yards square has a significant influence on the ability of herding on football extracurricular students of Pagar Dewa 1 State High School, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency.Keywords: dribble 20 yards square, dribble

This study aims to determine the effect of push-ups with feet on a bench on top service ability in volleyball games for class X IPS students at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. This research is an experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 25 students, the data were processed using statistical formulas in the form of calculating the average, standard deviation, and two-mean test. The analysis in this study used the t-test formula at a significant level of 5%. The results obtained were that there was an effect of push-up training with legs on the bench on the upper service ability in volleyball games in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang, p. This can be proven based on the t test data analysis, the results obtained tcount = 2.495> ttable = 1.71. Therefore, according to the predetermined hypothesis testing criteria, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because there is a significant effect of the push up exercise with the legs above. bench against the Ability of Top Service in Volleyball Games for Class X IPS Students at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang

This study aims to analyze using outdoor learning methods on learning outcomes and interest in learning physics. This study uses a quasi-experimental method. This study involved 60 students from two classes, namely class XA and XB. The instruments used in this study were the pretest-posttest questions and the interest in learning questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used independent sample t-test, N-gain, and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The analysis results show that the treatment has a significant effect on learning outcomes and can improve learning outcomes compared to conventional learning. The outdoor learning method makes students more interested in learning physics. The conclusion that can be drawn is the outdoor learning method has a significant effect on learning outcomes and interest in learning physics in high school.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the attribute framing and justification on decision making through the capital budgeting process. This study also aims to examine the effect of justification as moderation on the effect of attribute framing on capital budgeting decisions. The capital budgeting decision in this study is a decision toward the proposed capital budgeting project in the form of approving or rejecting the proposed project. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design with the data taken is primary data. The quasi-experimental research was designed 2 x 2 between subjects which was conducted to 83 financial students in the Magister of Management, Diponegoro University. Data analysis techniques used in this study were one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA.The results of the study shows that attribute framing and justification can influence decision making through the capital budgeting process. In particular, the information that is positively presented has an impact in the higher approval of a proposed capital budgeting project. This research also concluded that justification could not reduce the effect of the attribute framing on capital budgeting decisions. This shows that belief revision theory- foundation approach cannot explain the phenomenon of this study.

> ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the ability of students' understanding of mathematicalconcepts by using Problem Posing approach is higher than Direct Instruction Learningin VIII class at Private Junior High School of Methodist Tanjung Morawa. This researchis a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttes design.The population in this studyis all students of class VIII consisting of 3 classes, while the sample in this study werestudents of class VIII-1 (experimental class) as many as 31 people and class VIII-2(control class ) of 31 people. The research instrument in data collection is a test. Beforetesting the hypothesis first tested the normality of data by using Liliefors test andhomogeneity of data using F test. From the test it was obtained that the pretest results ofboth samples distributed normal and homogeneous, thus the authors can give treatmentto both samples. From the result of pretest-posttes data analysis using t-test at α = 0,05we get t_count> t_ (table) that is 1,955> 1,677 so that H_o is rejected and H_a accepted.So it can be concluded that the ability to comprehend the concept of mathematics studentsusing Problem Posing approach is higher than Direct Instruction Learning in VIII.Keywords: Posing problem, Understanding of mathematical conceptsABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematikasiswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan Problem Posin glebih tinggi daripada DirectInstruction Learning di kelas VIII SMP Swasta Methodist Tanjung Morawa. Penelitianini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttes. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 3 kelas,sedangkan sampeldalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-1(kelas eksperimen) sebanyak 31 orang dankelas VIII-2 (kelas kontrol) sebanyak 31 orang. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulandata adalah tes. Sebelum pengujian hipotesis terlebih dahulu diuji normalitas data denganmenggunakan uji Liliefors dan homogenitas data menggunakan uji F. Dari pengujianyang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa hasil pretest kedua sampel berdistribusi normal danhomogen, dengan demikian penulis bisa memberikan perlakuan kepada kedua sampel.Dari hasil analisis data pretest-posttes dengan menggunakan uji-t pada tarafdiperoleh yaitu sehingga ditolak dan diterima.Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswadengan menggunakan pendekatan Problem Posing lebih tinggi daripada DirectInstruction Learning di kelas VIII.Kata kunci: Problem Posing, Pemahaman Konsep

<p><em>This research was conducted at TK Islam Ibnu Qoyyim, Medan Selayang District. Tthe type of research is experimental research with uses Quasi Experimental Designs. This study aims to determine the influence of Maria Montessori's learning model on the discipline of children in TK Islam Ibnu Qoyyim. The results showed that the Montessori learning model had an effect on the discipline of group A children. The results of the pretest class were 9.3 and the post-test average was 16.80 with the highest post-test 20 and the lowest post-test 12. Class control with an average pre test 9.7 and the average post test 11.7 with the highest value 16 and the lowest value 7. The results of hypothesis testing obtained t count&gt; t table is 18.31&gt; 2.048 with significant numbers. Thus the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it is stated that there is a Significant Effect of Maria Montessori's Learning Model on the Discipline of Group A Children 4-5 Years Old in the TK Islam Ibnu Qoyyim.</em><em></em></p>

This research is entitled “The Effectiveness of Using Cooperative Script Method to Improve Students’ Reading Comprehension on Recount Text of 8th Grade Students of SMP N Kewapante, Maumere in Academic Year 2017/ 2018”. The objective of this research is to investigate and to find out whether the use of cooperative script method effective to improve students’ reading comprehension on recount text. The method of this research is experimental research especially quasi experimental research. In analyzing the data, the researcher combined both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. In qualitative data analysis, the researcher used interview technique in order to get information about students’ perceptions in reading, while in quantitative data analysis, the researcher used SPSS version 16. The result of the research showed that the implementation of Cooperative Script Method in experimental class was more effective to help the students in reading comprehension on recount text compared to the use of the conventional method in control class of the eighth grade students of SMP N Kewapante, Maumere. It is also found that cooperative script method positively contributed to improve students’ reading comprehension. Therefore ,the researcher  suggests the teachers to use cooperative script method in order to improve students reading comprehension Additionally, cooperative script method can also motivate students to be more active, relax and enthusiastic to comprehend reading texts.
