This study aims to reveal and describe the Choreography of Ratok Maik Katurun Dance in Padang Laweh Village, Koto VII District, Sijunjung Regency. Therefore, this study explores the problems related to the choreography contained in the Ratok Maik Katurun dance in Padang Laweh Village, Koto VII District, Sijunjung Regency. This research belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive methods. The main instrument of this research was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and voice recorders. Types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The results show that Ratok Maik Katurun Dance is a traditional dance which uses a choreographic approach and is created by raising the life of nature and the people of Padang Laweh village. Ratok Maik Katurun dance has a unique cultural value. It is dancing at the death of a leader in Padang Laweh village. Ratok Maik Katurun dance has two main aspects. The first one is the aspect of form including: motion (10 types of motion); simple floor designs such as straight and curved lines, top designs such as angular, medium, low, high, contrast and curved designs; group composition such as synchronously and balanced;female dancers aged 30-50 years; music using gondang boghek, talempong, and gong instruments; costumes worn is black baju kuruang basibah (Malay traditional clothes) and black songket (skirt); and properties in the form of shawls which are only worn in the oghak salendang movement. The second one is the aspect of content including: The idea, in Ratok Maik Katurun dance the idea isrelated to death and the atmosphere whichis sad. Music and dendang ratok used as accompaniment of the dance movements make the dance conveyed and complemented. Thus, it can be concluded that Ratok Maik Katurun Dance has choreographic aspects so that it can be researched using choreography knowledge.Keywords: Choreography, Ratok Maik Katurun Dance

This study aims to describe and analyze the choreography of Cangget Pilangan Dance in Abung Selatan village of North Lampung.This research belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive analysis. The instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. Types of data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done through data reduction, data modeling (displaying), and conclusions making through choreography theory by analyzing theme, motion, floor design, top design, dramatic design, dynamics, group composition, music, and dance equipment.The results show that Cangget Pilangan dance is a creation in the form of a group which uses unison composition, balance, canon, and broken. This Cangget Pilangan dance is a development of the tradition using a choreographic approach. In Cangget Pilangan dance, there are elements of dance composition consisting of themes, movements, top designs, floor designs, dramatic designs, music designs, processes, equipment and group choreography. The movements in this dance are the development of Cangget motion and new creations: the motion of tiptoe, respect, hand, rotating hand, back step, transition 1. igel, wave, transition 2. rotating hands, turning, low turning, hand span, transition 3. transition 4. transition 5. transition 6. jump, hovering grab, shawl pull, gentle waves, close embarrassment, drift, ukel, worship, side ukel, front ukel, front walk, swing, open cross, and shawl cross. The floor pattern depicts creative dance that has fulfilled the elements of dance composition. The single cone dramatic design clearly depicts moderate to strong motion forces. A dramatic design clearly shows about the gentleness and manliness of the Lampung girl. The music strongly accompanies the flow of the dance movements, so it makes the dance alive and strong. The dance equipment gives a new color to the creative dance which is worked on as well as the group choreography which shows high social values in teamwork and mutual cooperation.Keywords: Cangget Pilangan Dance, Choreography Review

This is a descriptive qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cellphones. The data used where primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making. The results of this study show that the Uraklah Simpuah Dance is cultivated from social condition which is not in accordance with the customs in the village. The situation meant isgetting around done by Minangkabau women. In the form aspect, there is a floor design used in Uraklah Simpuah dance. It is a straight floor design which is lined and curved in a circle. It uses large group composition (unison). The music instrument used in this dance is a drum namely gandang tambua. In addition, it uses the distinctive strains of songs to accompany the dance.The costume worn is a basic black velvet shirt paired with songket and a red to orange head cover. This dance also uses metal plates and resins as the sounds. Thus, it is concluded that the Uraklah Simpuah dance is a traditional dance which already has choreographic aspects so that it can be researched using choreography.Keywords: Choreography, Uraklah Simpuah Dance, Tak Kondai Studio

The research aims to reveal, describe, and analyze the development of Marcok Dance at Ilok Rupo Art Studio, Sungai Penuh City. This research belongs to a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The types of data in this study were primary and secondary data. The main instrument was the researcher itself, and it was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. The data were collected through literature, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was done through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results show that the traditional Marcok Dance had developed into a creation Marcok Dance. This development can be seen from the management of movements, dancers, floor patterns, accompaniment music, clothing, time performance, and place of performance. In motion, there are 2 new motion additions. Related to the floor pattern, there is a reduction from 26 to 14 creation Marcok dance floor patterns.  Costumes have developed in terms of accessories used. In addition, there is an additional musical instrument called gong. The development process of Marcok Dance at the Ilok Rupo Art Studio, Sungai Penuh City is supported because of the desire of Ilok Rupo Art Studio to keep the traditional Marcok Dance by develop it so it is attractive for the community to use. Moreover it is useful as a forum for young people to learn how to maintain cultural heritage, and it becomes an identity in the local area.Keywords: Development, Marcok Dance, Ilok Rupo Art Gallery

This study aims to describe and analyze the motion structure of  Tampuruang dance in Batu Manjulua village, Kupitan district, Sijunjung regency, West Sumatra province.This  research belongs to a qualitative research. The types of data used were primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this research was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools, cameras, and flash drives. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The steps of analyzing the data was collecting the data, describing the data, and concluding the data.The results show that 1) related to the relationship system of basic elements, Tampuruang Dance has motions of body parts consisting of the head, body, hands, and feet. From the relationship system between the elements above, it produces the form of motives which are alternate and interrelated like a chain, 2) Related to the hierarchical grammatical relationship system, Tampuruang Dance consists of 42 motifs, 8 phrases, 5 sentences, and 1 cluster, 3) Tampuruang dance belongs to a syntagmatic relationship system which is like a chain, and it cannot be separated or exchanged between one another.Key words: Motion Structure, Tampuruang Dance, Batu Manjulua Village

This study aims to reveal and describe the choreography of a dance called Tari Piring Diateh Karambie in Kanagarian Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument of this research was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and voice recorders. This research used primary and secondary data. The data were through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, reducing the data, presentation the data, and making conclusions. The results show that Tari Piring Diateh Karambie a is a traditional dance using a choreographic approach, and it is cultivated by raising the life of nature and the people of Nagari Payo. This dance has been around since 1995. Tari Piring Diateh Karambie uses elements of dance composition consisting of: 7 types of movement, simple floor pattern, top design, music, dramatic design, dynamic, theme, composition, group, and equipment. The movement of Tari Piring Diateh Karambie comes from a combination of Nagari Payo and Simawang. The movements and floor patterns used by dancers have fulfilled the elements of the dance composition. There is also music to accompany the dance movement so that it makes the dance alive as well as it complements the dance. The equipment used also gives the nuance to the dance so that it is not monotonous. Pelayanan publik menjadi suatu tolok ukur kinerja pemerintah yang paling kasat mata. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan banyaknya tantangan yang harus dihadapi maka pelayanan publik harus diselaraskan dengan terobosan atau inovasi. Salah satu pelayanan publik yang perlu dioptimalkan adalah Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap (SAMSAT). Oleh karena itu, Kantor Bersama Samsat Gresik membuat aplikasi yang diresmikan pada tanggal 14 Juli 2020 adalah SAMSAT RAME (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) yaitu sebuah aplikasi pelayanan pajak serta informasi terkait pengurusan perpanjangan masa berlaku surat tanda nomor kendaraan (STNK) bermotor. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana optimalisasi pelayanan Kantor Bersama Samsat Gresik melalui Inovasi Aplikasi Samsat Rame (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) sehingga mampu menjawab beberapa permasalahan pelayanan publik Teknik analisis data dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi literatur.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Samsat Ramah Merakyat (Samsat Rame) belum efisien karena input pelayanan masih memberatkan para pengguna jasa. Belum efektif karena tidak berhasil mencapai tujuan yang dikehendaki oleh penyelenggara. Serta kualitas hasil yang buruk dikarenakan faktor pendukung terkesan membuat aplikasi Samsat Rame di lakukan karena mendesak tanpa memikirkan jangka panjang. Sedangkan faktor penghambat lebih berpengaruh pada keberhentian inovasi Samsat Rame. Salah satu saran yang dapat diajukan yaitu meningkatkan sosialisasi dan promosi kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Gresik. Kata Kunci : Pelayanan Publik, Inovasi Pelayanan Pajak, Samsat Rame (Samsat Ramah Merakyat)   Public service becomes the most visible measure of government performance. Along with technological developments and the many challenges that must be faced, public services must be aligned with breakthroughs or innovations. One of the public services that need to be optimized is the One-Stop One-Stop Administration System (SAMSAT). Therefore, the Samsat Gresik Joint Office made an application that was inaugurated on July 14, 2020, namely SAMSAT RAME (Samsat Ramah Merakyat), which is a tax service application as well as information related to the extension of the validity period for motorized vehicle registration certificates (STNK). The purpose of this study is to find out how to optimize the services of the Samsat Gresik Joint Office through the Samsat Rame Application Innovation (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) so that it is able to answer several public service problems. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion / verification. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the Peoples Friendly Samsat application (Samsat Rame) is not efficient because service inputs are still burdensome for service users. Not yet effective because it failed to achieve the goals desired by the organizers. As well as the poor quality of results due to supporting factors that seem to make the Samsat Rame application done because it is urgent without thinking about the long term. While the inhibiting factor has more influence on the discontinuation of the Samsat Rame innovation. One of the suggestions that can be put forward is to increase socialization and promotion to the people of Gresik Regency. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the impact and behavior of the community on post-disaster economic conditions in the city of Palu and to know the local government's public policies in handling these cases. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach, literature study, and secondary data processing from various social elements. In addition, data collection was carried out by interviewing informants who felt the direct impact of the earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction in Palu, Sigi and Donggala. The results showed that the post-disaster impact felt by the people of Palu City was generally in the "severe" classification. The socio-economic conditions of the people of Palu include several aspects, ranging from the geographical conditions that are in disaster-prone zones, to the extremely poor health conditions after the disaster. The conclusion of this research shows that the escalation of natural disasters in the city of Palu is considered quite large because it consists of three types of disasters, namely the Earthquake, Tsunami and Liquifation in the same time period. Palu City is the capital of the Province as well as the economic and administrative center of Central Sulawesi Province. Damage to warehousing infrastructure coupled with massive looting from unscrupulous people in logistics supply warehouses resulted in goods that were supposed to be distributed both to the city and the district finally unable to be implemented.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan evaluasi dampak dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap kondisi perekonomian pasca bencana di kota Palu dan mengetahui kebijakan publik pemerintah setempat dalam menangani kasus tersebut. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan  studi kasus, studi literature, dan pengolahan data sekunder dari berbagai elemen sosial. Selain itu pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawacara kepada narasumber yang merasakan dampak langsung dari bencana gempa,tsunami dan likuifaksi di Palu,Sigi dan Donggala. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa dampak pasca bencana yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat Kota Palu secara umum berada pada klasifikasi “berat”. Kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat kota Palu meliputi beberapa aspek, mulai dari kondisi geografis yang berada pada zona rawan bencana, kondisi kesehatan sangat memprihatinkan pasca bencana. Kesimpulan penelitain ini menujukkan bahwa eskalasi bencana alam kota Palu dinilai cukup besar karena terdiri dari tiga macam bencana yaitu Gempa Bumi, Tsunami dan Liquifasi dalam kurun waktu sama. Kota Palu merupakan ibukota Provinsi sekaligus sebagai pusat ekonomi dan pemerintahan Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Rusaknya infrakstruktur pergudangan ditambah dengan adanya penjarahan yang massiv dari oknum masyarakat pada gudang-gudang suplai logistik mengakibatkan barang yang semestinya didistribusikan baik ke kota ataupun ke kabupaten akhirnya tidak dapat dilaksanakan.

This study aims to reveal the procedures for presenting Persembahan Bungo dance in a guest welcoming event in Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This is a qualitative research resulting descriptive analysis data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted bycollecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusion. The results show that Persembahan Bungo dance has parts and sequences in each presentation. They are preparation before performing, initial stage, during the performance, and the end of the performance.Persembahan Bungo dance has 9 movements: Sembah Penghormatan, gerak selamat datang, sembah paduko, lenggang, putri malu, berinai, limbai, zapin bungo, and mambuko pagar ayu. The rules for performing Persembahan Bungo dance are compiled by custom or according to the customary rules in Bungo Regency, are in accordance with the motto of Bungo Regency, and pay attention to the values in a reception. For example, in the rule of washing betel, the betel must be washed first by the queen. This symbolizes cleanliness, purity, and respect for the welcomed guests by people of Bungo regency.Keywords: presentation, bungo dance, guest welcome

This is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data was collected through literature study, observation, documentation, and interview. The data analysis was conducted by reducing the data, modeling the data (data display), and taking / verifying conclusions. The results show that 1) extracurricular dance planning can be conducted well as expected, the material selection is in accordance with students’ needs and abilities, and the schedule selection has been determined by the principal and is always consistent in its implementation, 2) the implementation techniques taught to students give optimal quality such as doing varied warm-ups, teaching difficult to easy movements, and emphasizing parts of the motion by using words such as 1-2-Hentak-Turak, 5-6-Sorong-Turak, 3) students' abilities which looks very good consist of several parts, namely motion, rhythm, and expression. In terms of doing movements, the students are always consistent (there is no change). In terms of rhythm, the students are always good at doing movements because the trainer always provides varied counts and consistently provides rhythms with sound or music during warming up. In terms of expression, students are also spontaneous in doing movements and giving off a beautiful smile. This is due to the fact that the trainer always explains the meaning of motion in every movement the students do.Keywords: Tanun dance Training

The background of this research is the loss of one of arts in Korong Koto Tinggi, namely Silek Sunua. This research aims to revitalize Silek Sunua in Korong Koto Tinggi community, Gunuang Padang Alai village, Padang Pariaman regency. The method used was descriptive analysis with a qualitative form. The types of data in this study were primary and secondary data. The main instrument was the researcher itself. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by using interpretation technique so that the truth can be obtained. The results of this study are efforts made to revitalize Silek Sunua. The efforts area ctivity excavation and re-activation as well as organization and socializat ionstructuring in Korong Koto Tinggi. Activity excavation and re-activation are done by holding back the Silek Sunua training and having organizational structuring torearrange the structure of the organization. Furthermore, the socialization is to reintroduce Silek Sunua to the community and the younger generation in Korong Koto Tinggi. Keywords: Revitalization, Sunua Silek, Koto Tinggi Korong
