In addition, this paper will also explain how the implications of learning about learning Arabic for non-Arabic learners. Ta'rib is the absorption of new words and terms from non-Arabic languages to Arabic by changing their pronunciation to follow patterns and rules in Arabic. Ta'rib can be done in two ways, first forming a new term to replace foreign terms, the two using foreign languages with Arabic patterns that are in accordance with the stipulated conditions. The implication ta’rib of learning Arabic for learners from outside the Arab world includes 1) giving mufradatfusha before the mufradat ‘amiyyah; 2) emphasize students to use Arabic fusha; 3) emphasize students to look for a translation in the dictionary before absorbing it directly; 4) introducing examples of foreign vocabulary that do not have equivalents in Arabic; 5) explain the provisions that apply to the owner ta’rib before Arabic language learning takes place; 6) emphasizes on students to pay attention to the rules of writing Latin letters that do not have equivalents in Arabic.

This study aimed to analyze Arabic language learning with a neurolinguistic approach at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Students have not been able to accept the material presented by the teacher. Students have not responded with their brain intelligence, both in understanding mufradât as well as understanding muhâdatsah. This research used a case study approach, involving the principal, the representative of Ismuba (al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, and Arabic Language) and the Arabic language teacher. Data were collected by observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study prove that the neurolinguistic approach can understand students in mastering Arabic learning through brain synchronization, both right brain, and left brain. Optimizing Arabic language skills rests on his brain. This neurolinguistic approach can facilitate students in mastering istimâ', kalâm, qirâ'ah, and kitâbah abilities in Arabic learning.

This chapter introduces the general topic of the handbook: the linguistic study of elliptical phenomena in natural language. In addition, it outlines the general structure of the handbook, with a subdivision into four parts (the theory of ellipsis; ellipsis as a diagnostic tool; the taxonomy of elliptical constructions; case studies exploring the elliptical inventory of a single language), and explains the philosophy behind and rationale for this structure. Finally, the chapter also highlights (a selection of) the main results and generalizations that emerge from contributions to the handbook, and briefly reflects on the future of linguistic research into ellipsis.

Arabic language education has become one of the subjects in all programs of faculties in Islamic Universities (PTKIS), especially in 154 Universities under the supervision of the fourth Coordinator for Islamic Universities, (Kopertais IV). However, the phenomenon of communicative foreign language learning (PBAK) according to the KTSPT 2009 was not directed at achieving the five competencies of the Kepmendiknas Regulation No. 045 (2002), for the clustering of certain subjects in the independent subjects. This leads to reduce graduate degree competence. This paper was presented in particular in the future approaches to curriculum building through the competency based the Indonesian Qualifications Framework (KBK KKNI) in accordance with the Presidential decree No. 8 (2012) by setting the communicative scope in teaching Arabic as an approach to achieve all five competencies together. The first possible plan for this purpose is to make use of the Language Center (LC) in two plans. First reforming the status of the language center, and secondly delegating subjects from college faculties to language center.

This paper analyzes the act of crime and its artistic rationalization through the character of Balram Halwai in Arvind Adiga’s novel The White Tiger under the theoretical prism of Nietzsche’s Philosophy of Ubermensch. Ubermensch is a hypothetical character proposed by Nietzsche in his masterpiece Thus Spoke Zarathustra who is expected to appear in the future and will possess some unique features like ‘transcendence over society’, ‘creation of new values and master morality’, ‘will to power and achievement’. The character of Balram is analyzed as a fictional Ubermensch under the lens of these features using Content Analysis Technique of Qualitative Research Methodology’ which is considered suitable for the specific descriptive nature and scope of this study. This analysis concludes that the embodiment of such features by Balram justifies his rise as a perfect potential Ubermensch of 21st century who rejects the traditional moral system and builds his own system of morality where crime also seems to be rationalized.
