This research aims to develop a product in the form of Student Worksheet of temperature and heat based on Scientific Process Skills. The study was conducted within five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research showed that Student Worksheet’s construct validity value of 80.30% and 70.96% of content validity. Student Worksheet has a questionnaire value of easiness of 3, 29, attractiveness of 3.32 and usefulness of 3.19. Student Worksheet effectively increases the average of the students’ learning outcomes both in the cognitive domain of 80.00, affective domain of 81.30% and psychomotor domain of 80.81. Based on the results of the research, it can be said that Student Worksheet achieved the goal of characteristics development i.e., possesses content validity and construct validity in the good category, user feedback questionnaire with the result of very easy to use, highly attractive and helpful, and the effectiveness of increasing the average students’ learning outcomes in the very high category. For future studies, the researchers suggest that the Science Process Skill-based worksheets are not only applied to the temperature and heat material but can be applied to other branches of science.Keywords: Scientific process skills, student worksheet, temperature and heat

Science Learning on the V kelas of SD Magersari Rembang Magelang is still centered on teachers using lecture methods, teachers less involving students to experiment, teachers less understanding the meaning of process skill approach and low student understanding seen in learning outcomes from 33 students only 9 students or 27% complete of 24 students or 73% of students who have not finished yet. To overcome this, improvements are made with the guidance of the teacher in applying the Process Skills Approach to improve Student Learning Results on IPA. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) Teacher planning in learning with process skill approach to improve students 'learning outcomes on light material and their properties. (2) Learning outcomes through process skills approach to improve students' learning outcomes of light materials and their properties. (3) Student learning outcomes in the process skills approach, in light materials and their properties. The subject of this study was the students of V class which amounted to 33 people. Implementation of PTK used includes four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. Data collection technique used: test, observation sheet and field note. The completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I was 4l%, increased in cycle 2 to 64% and increased again in cycle III to 82% above the expected target of 80%. The result of this research shows that application of process skill approach can improve the result of science learning. Suggestions for teachers in implementing learning should use innovative learning models, so that student learning outcomes will improve according to the situation and local environmental conditions.   Pembelajaran IPA pada siwa kelas V SDN Magersari Rembang masih berpusat pada guru menggunakan metode ceramah, guru kurang melibatkan siswa melakukan percobaan, guru kurang memahami arti pendekatan keterampilan proses dan rendahnya pemahaman siswa terlihat pada hasil belajar dari 33 siswa hanya 9 siswa atau27% siswa yang tuntas dari 24 siswa atau 73% siswa yang belum tuntas.Untuk mengatasinya, dilakukan perbaikan dengan bimbingan guru dalam menerapkan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses untuk meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada IPA.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Perencanaan guru dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. (2) Pelaksaanaan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. (3) Hasil belajar siswa dalam pendekatan keterampilan proses, pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 33 orang. Pelaksanaan PTK yang digunakan meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: tes, lembar observasidan catatan lapangan. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 4l%, meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 64% dan meningkat kembali di siklusIII menjadi 82% diatas target yang diharapkan yaitu 80%. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Saran untuk gurudalam melaksanakan pembelajaran sebaiknya menggunakan model pembelajaran yang inovatif, sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi meningkat sesuai situasi dankondisi lingkungan setempat.

Abstrak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Tema Lingkungan Sahabat Kita dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar siswa. Persentase kenaikan keterampilan proses pada siklus I sebesar 44,7% dan meningkat di siklus II menjadi 76,8%. Ketercapaian ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus adalah 28,6%, meningkat di siklus I menjadi 53,6%, kembali mengalami peningkatan di siklus II menjadi 85,7%. Abstract: This type of research was the classroom action research. The aims of the research were to improve the process skills and learning outcomes of the students in Lingkungan Sahabat Kita Theme by applaying Project Based Learning model. The research showed that by applying Project Based Learning model can improve the process skills and learning outcomes of the students. Precentage increase in process skill in cycle I was 44,7%, and  increased in cycle II 76,8%. The achievement of students learning completeness at pre-cycle was 28,6%, increasing in cycle I to 53,6%, increasing again in cycle II to 85,7%.

Curriculum 2013 to emphasize of learning result on cognitive, affective, and skill. Curriculum 2013 not only to emphasize cognitive, however, also affective and skill need to be developed in the learning process. One of the skills that should be developed is the scientific process skills, because it is the high learning result. The objectives of this research are to know the science process skill diversification. Procedure this research using experiment method to design of Nonequivalent Control-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The results of this research there are the science process skills diverse using SSP of science based on PjBL and using teacher’s SSP.

This study aims to determine the perceptions of the use of scientific process skills of in-service and pre-service teachers working in branches related to science courses in secondary and high schools. Therefore, this research was designed based on a relational survey model and was carried out with 150 science teachers in Turkey and 260 pre-service teachers from two different universities. The Scientific Process Skills Perception Scale was used to measure their perceptions of scientific process skills. An independent sample t-test was applied to compare the difference between the perceptions of scientific process skills of in-service and pre-service teachers. The results showed no significant difference between the two groups. The ANOVA results further showed that the duration of teachers’ service did not make a significant difference in their scientific process skill perceptions. The results of this study revealed that in-service and pre-service teachers should be supported with training to reduce their reservations about using scientific process skills. This research aims to (1) reveal the effect of problem based and expository learning towards physics’ learning outcomes, (2) uncover the effect of students’ science process skill towards physics’ learning outcomes, (3) reveal the interaction between students’ science process skill and their physics’ learning outcomes. This study is a quasi-experimental study applying factorial design 2 x 2. The study was conducted from November 2014 to May 2015.  The population of this research is the whole students of class VIII which comprises of 9 classes in MTS Negeri 1 Mataram. The purposive sampling was chosen as the sampling technique for this study, in which class VIII-8 acted as the experiment class and class VIII-7 as the controlled class. The data collection encompasses data of science process skill, and students’ physics’ learning outcomes (in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains) towards the main material of light. Technique of collecting data of science process and physics’ learning outcomes in affective and psychomotor domains were done by using observation sheet with certain criteria, while cognitive domain was done through the test.  The test instrument has previously been through validity test, reliability test, difficulty level, and discrimination index. The data obtained were firstly tested their normality and homogeneity, then continued by the testing of the hypothesis by using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Data analysis technique was done by using ANOVA 2x2 with different cell. The result of this study shows that (1) problem based and expository learning affects physics’ learning outcomes, (2) students’ science process skill affects their physics’ learning outcomes, and (3) there is no interaction between science process skill and students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract. Interactive multimedia is needed to improve student's understanding of certain material. The purpose of this study is to analyze the validity of interactive multimedia on ionic bonding material. The type of research used in this study is 4P research model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissaminate) but in this study only limited on Development step which adapted from Ibrahim (2014). The validity results showed that: (1) The content validity and construct validity obtained highly valid criteria with average percentage range gradually 90% and 91,04%. From the results, it can be conclude that the developed media was declared valid to be used as interactive multimedia on ionic bond materials.

Scientific process skills are skills that emphasize the learning, activities, and creativity of students to gain knowledge. Skills of the science process are classified into the psychomotor domain whose judgment tends to be neglected or not yet done optimally. The purpose of this research was to describe the science process skill of students class XI IPA on buffer solution material. The type of this research was descriptive research conducted at SMAN 15 Padang. The sample of research was grade XI IPA 5 and XI IPA 6. Instrument in this research was observation sheet to see the level of emergence of science process skill classified in three levels that was: exist and accordingly, exist but not appropriate, and not yet exist. Skills of the process of science seen from the activities of learning in the classroom and practical work that emergence has not developed optimally. Based on the results of data analysis, KPS indicators were existing and appropriate categories of skills that formulate hypotheses and using tools/materials. The KPS indicators in the category existed but were not appropriate is the skills of observing, interpreting, and applying concepts. Furthermore, the KPS indicators wich were not yet come were ask question and communication skills.

The purpose of this study is to findout the effectiveness of module with inquiry model to improve the student’s scientific process skill to wards heat material. The research design used was quasi-experimental design in the form of nonequivalent pretest-postest control group design. Based on the results of the effectiveness test, it was known that the value of n-gain experimental class was 0.62. It was greater than the control class with the score was 0.40. Student's scientificprocess skills also increased for each indicator. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the module by using inquiry modelwasthe effectiveto improve the student's scientific process skills. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas modul untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains  siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dalam bentuk nonequivalent pretes-postes control group design. Berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas, maka diketahui bahwa nilai n-gain kelas eksperimen (0,62) > kelas kontrol (0,40). Keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan untuk setiap indikator. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul dengan model inkuiri telah efektif dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

This classroom action research was motivated by the students’ low scientific process skills, learning motivation, and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science. One of the reasons is the lack of teachers’ ability in choosing appropriate learning approach and using of Kit or learning science equipments in natural science learning. Thus, the implementation of Environmental approach with science Kit Seqip to students of class V at SD Negeri 13 Salak Sawahlunto city is one of the ways to solve this problem. The objective of this research is to describe the improvement of the students’ scientific process skills, learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science at class V at SDN 13 Salak Sawahlunto by using Environmental approach with science Kit Seqip. The instruments of this research were the observation sheets of students’ scientific process skills and teachers’ activities, the test sheets of students’ cognitive learning outcomes, and the questionnaire sheets of student’ learning motivation. The results showed that there was a significant improvement of students’ scientific process skills, cognitive learning outcomes and learning motivation in natural science class V by using Environmental approach with science Kit Seqip from the first cycle to the second cycle.words.

The aims of this reseach is to design and develop a science module based on science process skills and to test the effectiveness of the module to students’ learning achievement and motivation. This research is Educational Reseach and Development. The development of this module used 4D models. The stage are define, design, development and disseminate. Science module is developed using a model of integration connected. Modules which developed based on science process skills includes observing phase, classifying phase, communicating phase, measuring phase, predicting phase and concluding phase used on science process skills includes. The results showed that there were increasing students' learning achievement and increasing students’ science process skills. Development of science-based KPS module consider effective because in addition to increasing student learning outcomes, science process skills of the students themselves have increased.
