This study aimed to assess local knowledge as one of the character formation values of Islamic elementary school students through Heutagogy and Cybergogy learning approach. The writers employed a qualitative method with a post-positivism interpretive phenomenology approach. The research subjects were the fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade teachers and students of SD (Elementary School) in Ternate. The writers collected the data through interviews, observation, and documentation and then analyzed the data using phenomenological data analysis. The results showed that the school applied Heutagogy and Cybergogy approaches in learning activities through online learning instructions combined with local wisdom. The values of local wisdom that supported the formation of student characters were tabea (respecting teachers and elders), dodara ngofa (a sense of love and affection with others), and fohaka biasa toma dodoto madaha (providing an example of habituation in education). These three dominant values formed the student characters.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the field of education. With the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus or known as the coronavirus in Indonesia, the government has forced the government to issue a policy to divert learning that has been carried out directly (teachers and students meeting each other) at school to online learning. One of the activities that occurred indirectly during the COVID-19 pandemic was planting and strengthening children's character education. This research is a descriptive type of research used to describe how to strengthen character education for elementary school students during the COVID 19 pandemic. The research subjects consisted of 5 elementary school students and 2 educators. The data were collected using semi-structured interview data via video conference, and documentation. This study was analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The results of this study show that strengthening children's character education during the COVID-19 pandemic through habituation, independence, religion, and integrity.

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

Teaching materials are one of the important components needed in the learning process. With the appropriate teaching materials, it is hoped that it can help the smooth running of learning activities. Science is a compulsory subject for elementary school students. Science contains all things related to nature. Teaching materials that have been used in learning activities are teaching materials made by the government. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students for context-based teaching materials and creativity to improve the scientific literacy of elementary school students. The research subjects were students from several elementary schools in Peukan Bada District, 25 students were used as the source of interview data. Data were collected using interviews and open questionnaires for students. The research data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop context-based teaching materials and creativity. Context and creativity-based teaching materials were chosen because they can facilitate students to learn, both with educators and independently. Context-based teaching materials and creativity are teaching materials that are packaged in a comprehensive and schematic manner. This study is also part of a study on the development of teaching materials on the topic of human and animal organism.

Rapid technological and information developments have impacted changes in various lines of life. The big impact that arises from the changes that occur is the decline in the values of the nation's character. The problem solving effort is by providing guidance in improving the ability of educators in shaping the values of the national character of elementary school students. The targets in this activity are the Teacher Working Group (KKG) in SD PBI and KKG in SDN 208 Luginasari. The method used in the form of organizing seminars and workshops on the role of teachers in building national character values to elementary school students. The activity was carried out quite well. Teachers are given debriefing and skills to carry out learning activities that contain character education through traditional game intermediaries. Suggestions for the achievement of the objectives of this activity is that assistance is still needed for the teacher so that the teachers can consistently transform their knowledge and skills in the path that we all expect.

This study aims to provide an understanding of character education based on multicultural values in elementary school students. The method used is quasi-experimental to see the changes that occur after using mobile learning in class VI SDN Kadipaten 1 Majalengka. The population and sample of the study were the sixth-grade students of SDN Kadipaten Majalengka in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection technique used a test that was used to determine the student's tolerance attitude. Based on the data processing and analysis results, it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance needs to be given a good understanding at the level of elementary school students. It is because elementary school students are at a stage where imitation is very high. The "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application can be a facility in providing an understanding of tolerance. It is shown that the results of the study indicate that there are differences in tolerance attitudes before and after using the "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application.

This study aims to describe how the transformation of the value of religious characters in civic education learning. This study uses a qualitative method, where the research data collected from the teacher based on real experience both the speech or behavior of the research subject as well as the existing field situation because it intends to find out the phenomenon of Transformation of Religious Character Value in civic education learning in Palembang Elementary School. The results of this study found that the application of the value of the religious character of elementary school students in the city of Palembang, namely students can behave intolerance, mutual respect between fellow courtesy to the teacher and in learning activities in the classroom students give greetings to teachers and other students. This is indicated by the attitude shown by students when they meet teachers and other students. Furthermore, students give smiles, greetings, greetings, courtesy, and courtesy. In addition, students carry out obedience in performing worship.

Indonesia is known for having low literacy skills. Students' literacy skills are low because schools do not provide enough media to help students' literacy skills, especially dictionaries. This study aims to develop a multilingual thematic illustrated dictionary to assist sixth-grade elementary school students' literacy. This has an impact on student learning outcomes are low. In developing the dictionary, this study applies the Design and Development (D&D) using four instruments to collect data: observation sheets, interview guides, questionnaires, and expert assessments. The subjects of this study were teachers and students from elementary schools in urban and rural areas in Buleleng Regency, North Bali. The results show that this dictionary is relevant to the eleven criteria of a good multilingual thematic illustrated dictionary. This dictionary is also categorized as an excellent medium of 10 themes with words and sentences in three languages and authentic pictures. Thus, multilingual thematic illustrated dictionaries are a helpful medium for students and teachers to develop literacy skills. This research implies that students in learning can use the developed dictionary.

Islamic class management is important in shaping the character of students in the 4.0 era. But in reality, in this era of 4.0, it is often found that the character of students, especially those in Elementary Schools (SD), has started to diverge. Based on these facts, this research was conducted to describe the form of Islamic class management in the 2013 Curriculum in shaping the character of the VI-grade elementary school students in the era 4.0. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. In the research carried out it was found that 1) The character building of students in era 4.0 was carried out in three stages, namely planning, actuating and controlling, and 2) Integrating 18 values of character building and 5 values of strengthening character education. (PPK) into learning themes and sub-themes. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the character building of students in the 4.0 era could be done by implementing Islamic class management in learning activities.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of gabilpanet-based number line learning media to enhance elementary school students’ understanding of the concept of integer counting operations at grade IV in Kabupaten Jepara. This research was a development research using Borg & Gall model. The development steps included: 1) researching the existing products, 2) studying the literature, 3) planning the product development, 4) designing the product, 5) conducting limited trial, 6) conducting main field trial, 7) conducting operational field trial. The subjects of this study were sixth grade students at SDN 4 Tulakan, SDN 2 Bandungharjo, SDN 3 Bandungharjo, and SDN 4 Bandungharjo. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Then, the validation results were analyzed by accumulating the scores and the statistical test of the effectiveness was carried out with SPSS version 26. Data on the effectiveness of gabilpanet-based number line learning media were analyzed through normality and homogeneity tests at a significance level of 0.05. The finding revealed that gabilpanet-based number line learning media was effective and useful to be utilized in learning activities in order to enhance studetns’ understanding of the concept of integer counting operations. Based on the data obtained, the average score of students’ learning activities was 0.76 with a percentage of 76%. Moreover, the result of students’ learning outcome based on the average score of n-Gain was 0.69 with an average pre-test score of 43.00 and the average post test 82.50.

<p><em>This study aims to describe the values of Islamic religious character education in the cleaning process of Dhukutan village in Nglurah village, Tawangmangu sub-district. Dhukutan is a traditional ceremony of Nglurah villagers to commemorate the death of their ancestors named Kyai Menggung. This traditional ceremony is held once every seven lapan (1 lapan=35 days based on Javanese calendar). The method used to find the value of religious character education is a descriptive qualitative method. The sources of the data are the offerings related to the implementation of the Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony. The results of the study show that the religious values reflected in the Dhukutan traditional ceremony are sincere, honest, obedient, disciplined, diligent, praying, grateful, and trustworthy. Within the process of Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony, the value of religious character education is beneficial for students to be both intellectually and emotionally intelligent students. This study suggests educators, especially within Tawangmangu area, to employ the Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony as a learning tool of religious character education values for elementary students.</em></p><p><em></em><br /><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter agama dalam proses pembersihan desa Dhukutan di desa Nglurah, Kecamatan Tawangmangu. Dhukutan adalah upacara tradisional penduduk desa Nglurah untuk memperingati hari kematian leluhur mereka yang bernama Kyai Menggung. Upacara tradisional ini diadakan sekali setiap 7 lapan (1 lapan = 35 hari berdasarkan kalender Jawa) Metode yang digunakan untuk menemukan nilai pendidikan karakter agama adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sesembahan yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai agama yang tercermin dalam upacara tradisional Dhukutan adalah tulus, jujur, patuh, disiplin, rajin berdoa, bersyukur, dan dapat dipercaya. Dalam proses upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan, ditemukan nilai pendidikan karakter agama yang sangat berguna bagi siswa untuk membentuk kecerdasan intelektual dan emosional siswa. Studi ini menyarankan para pendidik, khususnya di daerah Tawangmangu, untuk menggunakan upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan sebagai alat pembelajaran pendidikan karakter agama bagi siswa.</em></p>
