This paper is written to determine the methods and benefits of the integration of religious-science education in experimental based to shape the character of students. Integration of religious education with science and technology means the mastery of science and technology combined with the Islamic sciences and Islamic personalities. Through the experimental method, it is expected the emerging good characters (character building) of learners with the characteristics of faith and taqwa, able to motivate themselves, improving selfconfidence, realizing personal gratitude, and bring good morals. Tulisan ini disusun untuk mengetahui metode dan manfaat integrasi pendidikan agama-sains Berbasis eksperimental untuk membentuk karakter mahasiswa.Integrasi pendidikan agama dengan sains dan teknologi berarti adanya penguasaan sains dan teknologi dipadukan dengan ilmu-ilmu Islam dan kepribadian Islam. Melalui metode eksperimental diharapkan muncul karakter-karakter (character building) baik dari peserta didik dengan ciri beriman dan bertakwa, mampu memotivasi diri, menumbuhkan percaya diri, mewujudkan peribadi bersyukur, dan memunculkan akhlak yang baik.

Islamic religious education is one of the main components in shaping the character and personality of the nation. In this digital era 4.0 where particular communication has become universal, Islamic religious education must be able to become a spirit that directs technology so that it is always useful in human life. This study aims to find ways to integrate Islamic religious education with science and technology that can improve the character building of the nation. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method that describes the current conditions of Islamic religious education learning and its relation to the nation's character building. The result of this research is that Islamic religious education should not be monolithic but must be integrated with non-religious subjects as well as science and technology so that today's young generation are willing and interested in studying religion well and Islamic religious education can be of value. which colors every skill and profession of Indonesian citizens, so that the morals and morals of the nation develop well according to the example of the Prophet Muhammad and aspired to by the state.

This research was conducted to analyse what methods are effective in analysing the Role of Religion and Science Education in Forming Student Character Building. Basically, learning is influenced by the determination of the selection of the method used. Islamic religious education and science are different lessons so that as educators need to channel their creativity in delivering material. In this research, the writer used literature review method. So that the results of the study refer to methods that are effectively used. In the analysis of the role of religion and science education in shaping the character building of students. The result of this research is an effective method that can be used by educators in the role of religious education and science. In the formation of character building is the mix method, namely the problem-solving method, the inquiry method and the Discovery method.

In our everyday lives we are surrounded by advertising in its various forms. Thus in the school context it is not surprising that the issue of advertising is addressed by different subjects, with the main foci being advertising-specific language, images and illustrations, use of stereotypes, strategies of persuasion etc. But advertising also contains factual information, being explicit or implicit, to make a campaign more credible and underline the effectiveness of a certain product. Dealing with the use of factual information in advertising critically is important for the consumer. For many products this information is derived from science and technology. Understanding the science in and behind advertising is necessary to become a critical consumer. Learning about the use of science in advertising also allows promoting societal-oriented communication and decision making skills in the science classroom. Unfortunately, only a few examples on the use of advertising in the science classroom exist. This paper provides a justification for the use of advertising in science education. Examples from the classroom developed in the framework of the PROFILES-project are provided by way of illustration.

The progress of science and technology tends to give rise to differences between the older generation and the younger generation. Therefore learn the value orientation among young people and learners, especially the attitude of diversity is certainly important. Coaching youth as the next generation is a shared responsibility between families, communities and the nation state. Religious Education can run and practice the teachings of Hinduism so that the formation budhi noble character and noble morals. In the holy book, Bhagavadgita stated two trends affect the human character, the properties of all devata's (daivi sampat) and properties of giant (asuri sampat). Both of these trends are directly or indirectly will shape human character. The rapid development of science and technology these days have influenced the characters of the children, who are faced with heavy challenges. Teaching children should be then directed towards strenghtening their morals. Regarding that, it needs a neo-traditional norm that is based on the traditional origins. The Hindu education could become the normative agent that builds any modern Indonesian characters through their local wisdoms that are motivative to the children. On the instrumental level, the primary values to be taught are autonomy, dignity, creativity, morality, pride, and sense of aesthetics, and democracy awareness. They should preserve the local cultural heritage, including the languages and the arts, while adapting the global trend. As the educators, the teachers at schools as well as the parents at homes must be the role models whose responsibilities and disciplines are followed

Abstract This article discusses the findings of a study that measures the level of religiosity of students who participated in a tauhidic science education program for six months. The study aims to gauge the worldview and personality of students after being exposed with science education interdisciplinary with Islamic religious education. This study employs the set of Muslim Religiosity Personality Index (MRPI). Based on the findings of this study, this group of students has a moderate level of Islamic Worldview, but high Religious Personality. The findings of this study provide information about the religious experience among students based on the program in which they have enrolled. Keywords: Religiosity, MRPI, worldview, personality, Islamic Science   Abstrak Artikel ini membincangkan dapatan kajian yang mengukur tahap religiositi murid yang mengikuti    program pendidikan Sains secara tauhidik selama enam bulan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami tahap pandangan hidup dan personaliti murid yang mengikuti pendidikan Sains secara inter disiplin dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Kajian ini menggunakan set Muslim Religiosity Personality Index (MRPI). Berdasarkan dapatan kajian, kumpulan murid ini mempunyai tahap Islamic Worldview yang sederhana, namun Religious Personality yang tinggi. Until now, the education system in our country is more emphasis on the cognitive aspect than educating for character. Meanwhile, the globalization in 21st has given rise to the phenomenon of free trade, dependence science and technology (ICT, Bio-technology, Nano-technology), global life (Speed, Conectivity, Intangable, and Compatibility), human rights, issues of democratization, environment, gender, and multiculturalism. SDIT Nur Hidayah is a school has applied to try appliying character building. These programs of character building is implementating from their own religion. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Subject of these researchs are teachers and students. And informan of these researchs are headmaster, employees, and parents of the children.The results of this research shows that the information program of the characters in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta applied intensively (daily, weekly, monthly). The programs include 1. integrated in the leraning process, 2. any other programs: Pekan Pembiasaan, Pekan Kedisiplinan, Mentoring, Mutabaah Alyaumiyah. The purpose of these programs is intended to build characters of the students. These programs are not only comprehensive, but also very unique. The children are so enjoy and enthusiastic in carrying out various characters, and we hope they have a basic foundation of strong character.Keywords: Character Building, based on Religion

Spirit of science is one of the important components of science education theory. It not only directly affects the level of science education, but also indirectly affects the selection, education and evaluation of scientific researchers, and the development of science and technology in a country or region. Although more than a century ago, the researchers began to discuss the topic of spirit of science. However, to date, the research of the definition, attribute, structural model and its characteristics of the spirit of science has not yet made a breakthrough. Based on the detailed literature review, the related theoretical analysis and the research of the structural model of the spirit of science, this paper puts forward the new definition, the attribute and the establishment of the structural model of the spirit of science, and analyzes the match the situation from new structural model of the spirit of science and the scientific nature published by the American Society for the Advancement of Science. The results of this study are of great significance for raising the level of scientific education and cultivating future scientific researchers, enhancing their motivation and skills in innovation in scientific research and promoting the development of future scientific undertakings.
