This paper discusses the process of forming a habit of religious culture in some islamic private high school in Banyumas Regency, namely: Al Irsyad Al Islamiyah, Muhammadiyah 1 of Purwokerto, and Ma’arif NU of Sokaraja. The planting of a habit of religious culture was practiced by each high school based on its mainstream of religious culture in each school. The planting of religious cultural habits in the schools were applied through: classroom learning process, the development of PAI curriculum, school autonomy, human resources development, outdoor activities. In forming the habits of religious culture in each school, there were some differences of subcultures in each school, and it could be analyzed using curriculum and habits theories, which include habits, field, social capital, and doxa.

This chapter investigates the perceptions, experiences and learning of native and non-native EFL teachers towards in-service teacher education (INSET) through critical friend group (CFG) in a language preparatory program, at a private high school in the western part of Turkey. Specifically, the study identifies the specific aspects of CFG which might enhance teacher-learning and finally, better understand their perceptions towards reflective practice. The participants were four EFL teachers offering English lessons in a preparatory class at the high school. Data were collected through interviews, video recordings, and reflective essays. The findings revealed that participating in CFG has promoted teacher-learning through collaboration as it became the vehicle that facilitated teachers to alter their classroom practices, which in return, supported the learning process in their classrooms.

Entrepreneur competence of a school principal is necessary in creating entrepreneurial culture in the school. Based on thid theory, this research was conducted to find out the imlementation of entrepreneur competence of the school principal in creating entrepreneurial culture in Islamic Senior High School (MAN) Model of Banda Aceh. The research was conducting using a qalitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Teh research subjects were the principal, vice principal, teachers, and students of MAN Model of Banda Aceh. The result indicate that (1) The only program relate to entrepreneurship created by the principal was a school subject, namely Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (Handcrafting and Entrepreneurship) that has produce many works: (2) The implementation of entrepreneurship programs is carried out through subjects run by the teacher, including theories and practices; and (3) The obstacles encountered by the principal in creating entrepreneurial culture in the school were associated with luck of human resources, facilities, and time devote to develop the skills. Abstrak Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam membangun budaya wirausaha di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya wirausaha di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Program kewirausahaan oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui berbasis mata pelajaran yaitu prakarya dan kewirausahaan, dari mata pelajaran tersebut menghasilkan berbagai macam karya; (2) Pelaksanaan program kewirausahaan dilakukan melalui mata pelajaran yang dijalankan oleh guru, terdiri dari teori dan praktik; dan (3) Hambatan dalam penerapan program kewirausahaan di sekolah yaitu sumber daya manusia yang belum mumpuni, fasilitas dan terbatasnya waktu untuk mengembangkan skill.  Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Kewirausahaan dan Budaya Wirausaha

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the learning process and to analyze the problem of learning chemistry in senior high school. The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach. This mini research was conducted at Eria Medan Private Senior High School in 2017. Research subjects were selected by purposive sampling of 35 Mathematic and Natural Science 1, students grade XI. Data were collected and recorded using observation sheet to measure teacher activities. Students responses were obtained using a questionnaire. The result identified some problems that may inhibit the learning process. Only 37,14 % students were happy to complete or practice with questions and 42.85% of students are actively involved in the learning process. In addition, 80% of students stated that the chemistry books used were less interesting and only 20% of students stated their chemistry book was interesting to read.This study also found that there are misconceptions in teaching concept in the subject of chemical equilibrium.

Immigration Polytechnic is an official university under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights wich produces immigration cadres who have integrity and intellectuality to carry out their duties as immigration officer. The Human Resources Development Agency is a forum for produce student from the Immigration Polytechnic. On the other side, Directorate General of Immigration has a system called the Sistem Informasi Manajemen Keimigrasian (SIMKIM). The problem that will be to describe how the learning process at the Immigration Polytechnic is currently and how to utilize the existing system to support learning at the Immigration Polytechnic. The application of the research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, namely by explaining or describing an object of research by means of observation and interviews with related sources. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the learning process at the Immigration Polytechnic goes through several stages and also uses Teaching, Training, and Nurturing patterns that can improve the quality of Cadets. And also the Immigration Polytechnic has utilized several systems that are very helpful for learning, including Sistem Pengaduan Taruna (SIPENA), Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD), Electronic Learning Immigration System (ELIPS), dan juga Immigration Exam (IM-EXAM).

This paper uses the life history method to narrate the experiences of Camilla, a 19-year-old, first-year student at a four-year university. Camilla emigrated with her mother from El Salvador to the United States during her freshman year of high school. Based on two years of data collection, the author presents Camilla’s experiences at different stages, including her childhood in El Salvador, first and last year in high school, and her first year in college. The paper explores the sources and influences of social capital for a low-income, first-generation student and highlights its dynamic and contextual nature. The author argues that the findings have direct implications for the development of college access and readiness policies.

E-learning gives alternative solution for some educational problems, with the function which can adjust as necessary, as a supplement, complement, and substitution teaching-learning.  The learning process by online used e-learning can make the students learn will independently so that teaching-learning can change the students centered learning. This research was conducted to develop teaching-learning in physics senior high school, based e-learning on technology in Lampung. The research design used to research and development model started with doing need assessment, identification of resources, identification product specification, product development, internally tested to see validation of product, external tested to see the use of the product, and the last stage production. The result of the tested the product showed that had validated by an expert, proper to used and interested (3,25); easy to use (3,24); and useful (3,31). The product was effectively tested to use in teaching learning with percentage 88,82%.E-Learning memberikan solusi alternatif bagi permasalahan pendidikan, dengan fungsi yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, baik sebagai suplemen, komplemen, serta substitusi kegiatan pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran secara online menggunakan E-Learning dapat melatih peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri, sehingga pembelajaran dapat beralih kepada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk  mengembangkan program pembelajaran fisika SMA berbasis e-learning dengan schoology di Lampung. Desain penelitian  menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan, yang dimulai dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal untuk melihat kelayakan produk, uji eksternal untuk melihat kebermanfaatan produk, dan tahap terakhir produksi. Hasil dari uji produk menunjukkan bahwa produk tervalidasi ahli, layak digunakan dan menarik (3,25); mudah digunakan (3,24); dan bermanfaat (3,31). Produk teruji efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase mencapai 88,82%.

Teknologi dan bahasa asing adalah dua hal yang saling berkesinambungan. Penguasaan dua materi tersebut menjadi sebuah keniscayaan bagi sivitas akademika baik pendidik maupun siswa. Hal ini karena, mayoritas kegiatan pembelajaran berhubungan dengan alat-alat digital dan bahasa asing dalam penyampaiannya. Tekhnologi diciptakan untuk mempermudah usaha manusia, selain itu ia juga dapat meningkatkan  pencapaian tujuan. Dalam pengajaran bahasa asing, siswa cenderung lebih mudah  memahami materi jika disampaikan dalam bentuk gambar, film, video ataupun animasi. Pengajaran Bahasa bahasa Asing saat ini masih dianggap kurang memuaskan dikarenakan materi yang disampaikan terlalu monoton dan kurang bersentuhan dengan tekhnologi sehingga kurang menarik untuk disampaikan. Kedua, materi ajar lebih banyak  diasosiasikan dengan  buku  teks  pelajaran. Padahal sebenarnya,  materi ajar dapat berupa kamus, kaset, video, lembar kerja, dan sebagainya. Berdasarkan hal-hal di atas, maka peneliti mengembangkan materi pelajaran Bahasa Asing pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah berbasis Whiteboard Animation. Technology and foreign language are two related things. Mastery in the above two is a must for academic people, either for the teachers or the students. It is because, majority, the learning activity are done with the help of digital technology and foreign language. Technology is created in order to help human activity and also to improve the goals’ achievement. While in the teaching and learning process, students tend to understand the material more if it is delivered in the form of picture, movie, video or animation. The foreign learning, nowaday, is considered unsatisfied since the material delivered is monotone and less in touch with the technology, so it is not really attractive. Second, the learning materials are assosiated more with textbook. While actually, the learning materials can be in the form of dictionary, cassette, video, worksheet and so on. Based on the above fact, the researcher improvr the foreign (English and Arabic) learning materials for Islamic Junior High School based on whiteboard animation.

Graphic Design is currently one of the few software that has been widely used for the development of knowledge because it is very easy to use in various aspects of work. For this reason, it is inevitable that many social media users need photo editing services such as graduation photo editing and travel photo editing so that it can be used as a business opportunity among students to take the job because the work can be done anywhere with easily accessible tools. In today's world of work, if human resources (HR) do not have additional abilities or skills, it will be difficult to compete in obtaining work. Through this introduction, students are also expected to get to know the tools that exist in Photoshop software. With the introduction of Photoshop, it is hoped that it can provide new insights and knowledge to the students of Budi Agung Medan Private High School about making graphic design as a business opportunity.
