This study aimed to describe Character Education In Dance Manduda the Community Simalungun. The research was conducted in June until the month of August 2016, this study uses theories that relate to topics such as the theory of education and character, understanding the value of character education, the meaning and understanding of dance movement Manduda. This study uses a qualitative method. The object of this research is Manduda dance.Data were obtained by the researchers themselves as a research instrument by using observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis to describe the state of the object in the field. The location of this research was conducted in District Pematang Raya.The results showed Manduda dance is a dance that describes the excitement and joy in harvest rice Simalungun society. Dance education Manduda contains characters that include the value religus, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, national spirit, patriotism, friendship / communicative, peace-loving, caring environment, social care and responsibility.

Character education is a form of cultivation of noble character in students. The aspect of 'social care' character is one of the most important of the eighteen character education in Indonesia, this is because the sense of sensitivity and help towards others in the environment around students begins to diminish. There are various kinds of media to succeed in internalizing character education, one of which is a novel. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy can be said to be a complete novel in instilling character in Indonesia. Therefore, researchers will explore how the value of social care character education in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive qualitative research. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi as a source of data in this study, in the form of dialogue and narrative stories about character education about social care. Based on the results of the analysis, seventeen data were found that were divided into four important parts, namely: giving help to others, caring for others, mutual respect, and sympathy.

This study was aimed at determining the value of character education in folk games on the slopes of Mount Merapi. This study used qualitative method. The subjects of this study were students, teachers, principals, and heads of Cangkringan and Pakem sub-education technical implementation unit. The instruments used were in-depth observations and interviews. The result shows that there are seventeen folk games, namely dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, and elang ayam.The game is used by teachers on the slopes of Mount Merapi to instill thirteen characters from eighteen educational characters. These characters, namely honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendship, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. Folk games should be integrated in learning in elementary school to develop student characterNILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERMAINAN RAKYAT DI LERENG GUNUNG MERAPIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai pendidikan karakter dalam permainan rakyat di lereng gunung Merapi. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar (SD), guru, kepala sekolah, dan kepala Unit Pelaksana Teknis sub pelayanan pendidikan di kecamatan Cangkringan dan kecamatan Pakem. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi tujuh belas permainan rakyat, yaitu dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, dan elang ayam yang berpotensi sebagai sarana penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa SD. Permainan tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh para guru yang ada di lereng gunung Merapi untuk menanamkan tiga belas karakter dari delapan belas karakter pendidikan. Karakter tersebut, yaitu jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Permainan rakyat semestinya dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran di SD untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa.

<p><em>Character education is an important provision in preparing early childhood in facing a future full of challenges, both academically and in the life of the nation and state, learning at Roudhotul Athfal Bina Ibsani Muslim in the current conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge in efforts to manage education character even though the intensity of the encounter between teachers and students is reduced and moves to digital spaces. This study aims to describe the development of character education in RA Bina Insani during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research instrument uses observation, semi-structured interviews where the researcher tries to open the opinion and ideas of the informants so that the problem becomes clear. The technique used to analyze the data used a qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed that there are four models of learning model RA Bina Insani Muslimi during the Covid-19 pandemic; Online (online), offline (offline), Home visit (home learning once a week) and School Visit. The results show that the development of character education is outlined in daily and weekly programs and is still escorted by teachers by providing character control sheets, and providing appreciation and guidance for those who do not meet the criteria. The characters developed are the child's personality, independence, discipline, and responsibility. </em><em></em></p>

This study to determine the relevance of IBSMPB to the regeneration of the Mandailing Natal scholars. This used a qualitative method with a fenomena approach by using qualitative descriptive analysis. As the result of the research, regeneration in Mandailing Natal Regency includes two things: culture that is physical and non-physical. As for the physical form of culture such as: long white shirt, sarong (abid), white coat, turban, robe and coat, sandals. Non-physical includes: reading the yasin on Friday, reading the takhtim and tahlil on the grave of the sholar, and visiting the house of the favorite sholar.

<p>Topeng Sinok dance is the characteristic art of Brebes regency. This dance tells about the typical women in Brebes who are hard-working. Beauty, flexibility, and elegance do not reduce their love for nature and farming. This dance is a combination of Cirebon, Banyumas, and Surakarta style. The dance is basically aiming at showing that women from the border areas of Central and West Java are not spoiled, whiny, and lazy. Topeng Sinok dance is performed beautifully, elegant, and swift. This paper purposes to uncover the meaning behind Topeng Sinok dance movement. This study implements qualitative method that uses qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection process was conducted by using observation, documentation, and interview techniques. Further, the data were analysed by using dance data analysis by following the steps of (1) identifying and describing components; (2) understanding; (3) interpreting; and (4) evaluating. The data were then validated by using triangulation.</p>

This study aims to determine the intrinsic elements and the value of character education in the Pawang Ternalem drama script, as well as to determine the benefits of the analysis of drama scripts as teaching materials for Indonesian in Grade VIII. This study uses qualitative methods with data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data processing, the research results show that in the Pawang Ternalem drama script there are intrinsic elements including themes, characters and characterizations, plot, setting, language style in dialogue, and mandate. In addition to the intrinsic elements of the drama script, 10 character education values were found, namely the values of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, hard work, creative, independent, respect for achievement, friendly / communicative, social care, and responsibility.

The problem behind this research was the lack of inculcation of character values among students. This research aims to analyze the implementation of character education in the learning process of Hindu religious education. This type of research was qualitative using a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were elementary school teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used was in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis, namely the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and documentation, by organizing data into categories, breaking down into units, synthesizing, compiling into patterns, choosing which ones are important, and which will be studied, and making conclusions so that they are easily understood by themselves and others. Based on the result of this research and discussion described, it can be concluded that the implementation of character education was only able to find 14 characters. The character values achieved consist of 18 character values in the development of cultural and national character education by the Ministry of Education and Culture so that it can be concluded that the inculcation of values has been carried out well even though it was still maximal.

This paper will parse and explain the moderation movement initiated and mobilized by the Islamic organization Nahdhatul Ulama and radical movements conducted by Jama'ah Islamiyah. The focus of this paper will look at the Islamic philosophy and vision (NU and JI) on religious and political relations. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive analysis, that is data used in research and supported by theme-related literatures. The NU moderation movement is a manifestation of ideology formed in many spaces, one of the most important being culture. Contextualization and internalization of the interpretation of the sacred texts namely Al Quran and Hadith, birth concepts such as pluralism and endurance. The earthing of Islamic teachings in accordance with the concept of rahmatan lil alamin existing in the Qur'an can not be a left or right object (moderate). Islam is present as a religion that lays political and Islamic relations as two sides complement each other and maintain their own identity. Islam requires politics and state for the media to develop its teachings in all aspects of community life, while the state needs Islam to safeguard, guard and guide the life of the state and society. Conflicts that occur in the school environment as the dynamics of a multicultural society. Shaping the character of students' multicultural education is the main responsibility of a teacher. The objectives of the study are 1) To find and explain the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering religious attitudes in multicultural society in schools; 2) To find, understand, and explain the strategy of Islamic Education teachers in implementing multicultural values in schools; 3) To find, understand, and explain what are the obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing multicultural education in schools. This research is qualitative descriptive analysis with depth interview method. Data were obtained from interviews with 25 teachers from various subject areas at Cirebon 2 State High School, West Java, Indonesia. The positive role of the teacher can be seen in the attitude of fostering religious awareness and multicultural attitudes in schools by providing religious lessons. The strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in growing religious multiculturalism through sustainable character education learning. The obstacles faced by some education teachers are religious fanaticism, teachers cannot control the implementation of daily interactions and different levels of student awareness.

As a step to promote public interest in conducting cash waqf, the government launched a program called the National Money Waqf Movement (GNWU) which also introduced Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) Retail Series SWR001 which is a development of the CWLS (SW Series). Both are developments of the Money Waqf and Sukuk (State Sukuk) which have been regulated in the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 131/DSN-MUI/X/2019. Law No. 41 of 2004, concerning Waqf, and Law No. 19 of 2008, concerning State Sharia Securities (SBSN). CWLS is a form of social investment in Indonesia where the cash waqf is received by the Indonesian Waqf Board as Nazhir through a Sharia Financial Institution as a Cash Waqf Recipient (LKSPWU). It will be managed and placed on the State Sukuk or SBSN instrument and the proceeds of its development are used to finance various economic, social and religious activities. Nonetheless, this CWLS model is perceived to be less than ideal by some parties. This study adopted a qualitative method using using library research approach. The data were collected through analysing literature papers, documentation and conducting an interview. Descriptive-analysis used to compare the statutory provisions, fatwas of MUI, and fiqh rules with the implementation of CWLS. The findings in this study indicate that CWLS is an appropriate with Indonesian context and Islamic principles.
