The objective of this research is to find out about character education cares environment based on local knowledge. The studies method used is ethnographic with qualitative approach. This method is implemented because the research is related to the social, traditional ceremony, customary societies, and social as well as cultural phenomena. The data are gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The selection of respondent as samples uses purposive sampling technique. The result is probed meticulously through technique triangulation. The result shows that Urug societies have created societies character for the environment both social and ecology environment through applicating and conserve the tradition of heritage namely picking must ask for permission. The tradition is conducted collectively as societies habit when they release cultivating of paddies. There are two sorts of ceremony cultural such as Harvesting traditional ceremony (seren taun) and alms to earth (sedekah bumi). Permiting tradition in picking paddies must be conducted  because they have the view that a person must admit to the god before planting paddies through alms to earth. When the time for harvesting coming, societies propose admitting again before collecting paddies in the field. Once after paddies have been stored, Urug societies held harvesting ceremony collectively as a form that they have been gratefully when they obtain paddies yield. The other is Urug societies avoid greedy principle, it enacts Urug societies avoid from the environment devastated typically land because they farm paddies only one time in a year rather than 3-4 periods in a year. Other is Urug societies have applicated environment ethics both ecocentrism and biocentrism perspective to preserve nature from ravage. They also select agriculture as their venue to survive because they think that farmer is honest person and vanish envy temper in their life. Farmer embedded cooperation, mutual assisting, and mutual supporting among them.

This study explains about PKH recipients’ strategy to accept the assistance and not to be graduated. This study used the qualitative approach using descriptive type. Informants are chosen based on purposive sampling technique while data collection applies observation technique and in-depth interview (loosely structured interview). It uses Structuration theory proposed by Anthony Giddens which focuses on duality relation between agent and structure.

Statistic reported that the involvement of female teenagers in delinquency behavior is increasing. According to the literature, one of the aspects that contribute to delinquency among female teenagers is individual internal factor. Thus, this study is aimed to analyze the internal aspects of female teenagers who are involved in delinquency behavior. The study applied qualitative approach. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data was gathered through an in-depth interview with the respondents. Information from the interview was recorded to ensure that the information is completed. The data from the recorder was then transferred into a writing format manually. The data was analyzed to obtain the study themes. Results of the study showed that there are three internal aspects that influence the respondents to involve in delinquency such as perception towards their delinquency acts, life experiences and their reaction towards any particular situations.

Purpose – The presence of Grab has invited many discussions. The purpose of this study is to know the role of Grab on changes in social life in Bengkulu city both in terms of Grab drivers, consumers, and other conventional transportation.Method – This study uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method. The total respondents in this study are 38 people consisting of 5 people from Grab drivers, 30 people from consumers, and five people from conventional transportation.Result – This study found that there were changes in Grab drivers' income, but there were no social changes in Grab drivers. On the other hand, there were social changes in Grab consumers and conventional drivers. Implication – This study can be used by public, government, and private sector to understand better consumer behaviour in online transportation field.Originality – As the growth of online transportation in Indonesia is increasing, this study offers early understanding upon the phenomena.

This research discusses the rejection of Anak Dalam Ethnic transmigrants in Padang Tarok Village, Kamang Baru District, Sijunjung Regency. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the reasons for the local community of Padang Tarok Village to reject the Anak Dalam Ethnic Transmigrant and to analyze it using the Social Exclusion by Rene Lenoir. This research uses a qualitative approach. The selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using involved observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the rejection of Anak Dalam Ethnic transmigrants occurs because of differences in religious and cultural values between the Anak Dalam Ethnic and the local community of Padang Tarok Village. Due to differences in religious and cultural values between the Anak Dalam Ethnic and the local community, the transmigration program for the Anak Dalam Ethnic was not implemented according to the plan

This study aims to describe the social practice of independent graduation participants in the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Nagari Batu Balang, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota District. This study uses a descriptive-based qualitative approach with the informants selected using a purposive sampling technique. In collecting data used in-depth interview techniques, involved observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that habitus plays a role in encouraging PKH participants in independent graduation from persistence in working, having a sense of shame, discipline, frugal, and honest. The forms of capital owned by PKH participants in independent graduation are social capital, economic capital, cultural capital, and symbolic capital. The form of the PKH arena that plays PKH participants in independent graduation is to hold monthly meetings to add insight, monthly meetings as a first step to starting a household business, conducting health checks at the Polindes and Puskesmas, paying attention to the presence of children at school, saving to open a household business, dare to open a household business, and use the land around the neighbourhood to grow vegetables and medicinal plants.

Abstract. Visual impairment is a problem experienced by many children in developing countries. Uncorrected refraction disorders, cataracts, glaucoma, and visual disturbances that have been experienced since childhood are some of the things that cause a person experiencing visual disturbances. This study aims to find out the description and explanation of the implementation of low vision rehabilitation carried out by the Low Vision Layak Foundation Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. While data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. For the selection of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique, the sample is taken intentionally. The results of this study indicate that the attitude shown by the officer has made the client feel confident and the services provided are right on target. In terms of facilities and infrastructure have met the standards of the institution but there is one room that is considered too small and requires another room for counseling. It would be nice to have a review conducted by the Layak Foundation related to these obstacles. And until now there are some children who are rarely evaluated. In the future, client evaluations should be carried out routinely. Abstrak. Gangguan penglihatan merupakan permasalahan yang banyak dialami oleh anak-anak di negara berkembang. Kelainan refraksi tidak terkoreksi, katarak, glaucoma, dan gangguan penglihatan yang dialami sejak masa kanak-kanak merupakan beberapa hal yang menyebabkan seseorang mengalami gangguan penglihatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan penjelasan mengenai pelaksanaan rehabilitasi low vision yang dijalankan oleh Low Vision Yayasan Layak Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk pemilihan informan pada penelitian ini menggunakan tekhnik purposive sampling, yaitu sampel yang dimbil dengan sengaja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh petugas telah membuat klien merasa yakin dan layanan yang diberikan sudah tepat pada sasaran. Dari segi sarana dan prasarana telah memenuhi standar lembaga akan tetapi ada ada satu ruangan yang dianggap terlalu kecil serta membutuhkan satu ruangan lain untuk konseling. Alangkah baiknya ada peninjauan kembali yang dilakukan oleh pihak Yayasan Layak terkait kendala tersebut. Dan sampai saat ini ada beberapa anak yang jarang di evaluasi. Untuk kedepannya mungkin evaluasi klien harus rutin untuk dilakukan.

This study aimed to reveal how the Manggarai community used mathematical concepts in making the traditional house (Mbaru Niang) roof of Manggarai people and what were the mathematical concepts contained in it. This research used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The selection of subjects in this study used purposive sampling technique. Data obtained by interviewing, observing and documenting. The validity of the data is supported through theory and facts in the field and also through expert judgment. The results showed that in the stages of the process of making the traditional house roof of Manggarai there were 3 activities that had a mathematical nuance namely designing, numerating and measuring and the mathematical concepts contained in the traditional house roof were the concept of the shapes namely triangles, rectangles, trapezoid and circles, the concept of distance, the concept of parallel lines, and lines and the pyramid.

Glossophobia which is known as social phobia is a big problem in delivering a speech.  As such, this research is purposed to thoroughly investigate the problems faced by the students in training of speech in Darul-Huffadh Islamic boarding school of Tujutuju, Kajuara, Bone. With regard to the methodology applied in this study, a qualitative approach was used to describe the data that was discovered from the field through observation with the questionnaire and in-depth interview and field note. In addition, forty-one students were chosen as samples, whilst only ten were selected and invited to have an in-depth interview; these were chosen by using purposive sampling. Finally, the major implication of this study is to confront the problems dealt with the students in training of speech as a recommendation in education that should be taken into account and needs to be solved immediately and for the other researcher to conduct in-depth investigations of research to produce a better outcomes.Keywords: Glossophobias, Speaking Performance, Training of Speech

This research aims to investigate Nyi Pohaci Sang Hyang Asri's value in Cipatat Kolot societies perspective. The research method uses an ethnographic qualitative approach. This method is implemented because this research is linked to the social community. To gather data was used as an in-depth interview. Sample are selected through purposive technique. The result is probed meticulously through triangulation technique and triangulation sources. The result shows Nyi Pohaci Sang Hyang Asri is a customary society's faith. However, it becomes tradition and culture because the value of Nyi Pohaci pursues until nowadays generation. It has been embedded in their perspective. They must continue this perspective because it is mandatory from their forefather. While Nyi Pohaci release in proverb as non-material culture fro pursuing behavior in daily life. The other is Nyi Pohaci through traditional proverb which proverb has numerous meaning including they believe humans are in Nyi Pohaci and Nyi Pohaci are in human bodies. All parts of the human body, starting from human bones, human intellect, human flesh, human form, the hair on human bodies, bile in human stomachs, human minds and minds are formed by eating rice as Nyi Pohaci. As a result, the human dislikes the ravage nature environment because it has been cultivated on the land's surface. As land and nature are damaged, they have devastated Sri as paddies. It indicates that a human has influenced Nyi Pohaci belief must protect the natural environment. The other is they adjust their behavior not to adopt fully an-organic agriculture. They try to use composting and fertilizer for livestock manure. As a consequence, the soil can be preserved from damaged and combat global warming like climate change.

The purpose of this research is to investigate bawon system tradition and traditional appliance in the traditional community to empower farming labours toward community resilience. The research method used is an ethnographic qualitative approach. This method is applied because the research is related to cultural, ritual, traditional, and social phenomena. The data are collected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The selection of informants as samples uses purposive sampling technique. The result is probed meticulously through technique triangulation and source triangulation. The result shows that bawon system is a tradition in agriculture to assist landless people for cultivating. It leads to create agriculture worker resilience because the landless people can fulfil their basic needs from this mechanism, and they will not be unemployed amid the implementation of modern agricultural technology. Another result is the use of a traditional tool like ani-ani which can empower women resilience because women will not lose their vanity in farming activity. Besides, it can attain traditional and cultural resilience because ani-ani and bawon system can be categorized as traditional culture.
