Abstract This research motivated by the findings of learning obstacles experienced students in material around square. This is known based on the results of  test questions conducted during preliminary study to fourth grade elementary school students. To overcome  learning obstacles experienced by students, researchers will design a didactic design. The purpose of this study is to describe the didactic design on the material around square and describe the students' responses the implementation of didactic design. The didactic design can be interpreted  learning design that emphasizes the didactic aspect, namely the teacher's teaching method. This study uses method with a Didactical Design Research (DDR) research design consisting of three research stages, namely a prospective analysis of the didactic situation before learning (prospective analysis) in the form of a Hypothetical Didactic Design including ADP (Pedagogical Didactic Analysis), metapedadidactive analysis, and retrospective analysis (retrospective analysis), with data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observations, and attitude scales. The research subjects were 26 students in grades IV and VI and 1 teacher for grade IV at SDN 1 Sindangrasa. Based on results of study, through application of the didactic design carried out in stages I and II,  can help overcome learning obstacles experienced by students in the material around a square. This is shown from the students' responses on the attitude scale, results of the LAS (Student Activity Sheet) work and interviews with teachers. In addition,  didactic design is able to create a fun and meaningful learning atmosphere for students. Hal ini diketahui berdasarkan hasil soal tes yang dilakukan pada saat studi pendahuluan kepada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Untuk mengatasi learning obstacle yang dialami siswa, peneliti akan merancang sebuah desain didaktis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan desain didaktis pada materi keliling persegi serta memaparkan respon siswa dan guru terhadap implementasi desain didaktis tersebut. Desain didaktis dapat diartikan sebagai desain pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan pada aspek didaktik yakni cara pengajaran guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahap penelitian, yakni analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran (prospective analysis) berupa Desain Didaktis Hipotesis termasuk ADP (Analisis Didaktis Pedagogis), analisis metapedadidaktif, dan analisis retrospektif (retrospective analysis), dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, dan skala sikap. Subjek penelitian yaitu 26 siswa kelas IV dan VI serta 1 guru kelas IV SDN 1 Sindangrasa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, melalui penerapan desain didaktis yang dilakukan pada tahap I dan II dapat membantu mengatasi learning obstacle yang dialami siswa pada materi keliling persegi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari respon siswa pada skala sikap, hasil pengerjaan LAS (Lembar Aktivitas Siswa) serta wawancara terhadap guru. This study aimed to reveal the creativity of teachers in creative learning in social studies subjects in grade 6 of elementary school. This research used descriptive qualitative research method. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers and grade 6 of elementary school students. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and observing and recording documents. Data analysis used interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that; (1) the teacher has been creative in presenting learning material for the proclamation of Indonesian independence by using imaginative concepts, stimulating original ideas and works, applying variations in interaction patterns, teaching styles, and various messages, and applying direct evaluation, (2) the teacher is creative in applying the teaching method used with the application of brainstorming method and combining existing methods, (3) the teacher has been creative in developing learning media and learning resources by producing homemade media. In conclusion, creative teachers are teachers who are able to develop pedagogical abilities, life skills, increase values and build and develop professional attitudes according to the era of globalization.

The importance of the application of healthy behaviors in elementary schools need serious attention. Results of a preliminary study revealed the low student behavior, especially on the selection of healthy foods. Efforts to do one of them by conveying this information by using the right media health education. This study aimed to increase the knowledge of elementary school students through health education media "Smart with Your Foods". Implementation has been performed using a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Research subjects are elementary school students. Respondents were divided into the experimental class and control class. This research reveals that "Smart with Your Foods" media effectively to enhance students' knowledge about the selection of healthy foods. Conclusion: This media is effective in improving the selection of foods knowledge for elementary school students

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in the Physical Education subject especially in passing material by using the command teaching style in third grade elementary school students. Al Wasliyah 25 Marelan. This research method is classroom action research and research subjects are classes that have certain problems. The class studied consisted of 26 students. The instruments used in this study were learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. From the results of research conducted, seen an increase in the first cycle of 57.69%, then increased to 88.46% in the second cycle. From the analysis of the data it can also be seen that the student learning outcomes of the learning outcomes test before using the command teaching style is still very low. Passing learning is complete after the second cycle, this is due to the provision of motivation that triggers students' enthusiasm for learning and changes in learning variations. While in cycle I, students are not accustomed to the teaching methods provided by researchers, so students need to adapt to the learning methods provided by researchers. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes by utilizing the command teaching method in grade III elementary school. Al Wasliyah 25 Marelan Academic Year 2019/2020 has increased from cycle I to cycle II

Introduction: The need of desks and chairs at school which appropriate with student’s anthropometry are very important. Desks and chairs which not suit with student’s anthropometry will lead to fatigue. At Kabupaten Gresik, the provision of desks and chairs which suit with student’s anthropometry still less in number. This study was aimed to provide recomendation for an ergonomic desk and chair prototype to improve seating position on senior high school students at Kabupaten Gresik. Method: This was preexperiment research with one group pre post test design. Research subjects were students at SMAN 1 Menganti and SMAN 1 Cerme, Kabupaten Gresik, 139 students were involved. Result: The recomendation of ergonomic desks and chairs specifi cation according to student’s anthropometry were: 1) Prototypechair N, length = 48 cm, wide = 43 cm, cushion base’s height from floor surfaces = 47 cm, bag keeper’s height from floor surfaces =3cm, bag keeper’s wide= 43 cm, bag keeper’s length = 47 cm, cushion’s wide = 41 cm, cushion’s length = 46cm, handrest’s height = 22 cm, handrest’s length = 30 cm, backrest’s height = 38 cm, backrest’s wide = 43 cm, cushion’s foam thickness = 4 cm, backrest’s foam thickness = 4 cm; 2) Prototype desk N, length = 50 cm, wide = 66 cm, back section’s height = 85 cm, front section’s height = 75 cm, footrest from fl oor surfaces = 10 cm, drawer’s height = 10cm, front bamper’s height = 40 cm, and table’s angle = 10o. Discussion: An ergonomic desks and chairs are very important for students at school, it will help teaching learning process run well and comfortable. The measurement of desk and chair must be reviewed after fi ve years, because of student’s anthropometric development. <p>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP pada materi geometri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain didaktis (<em>didactial</em> <em>design research</em>).  Penelitian diawali dengan studi pendahuluan untuk mendapatkan data kesulitan belajar (<em>learning obstacle</em>) yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 29 Bandung kelas IXE sebanyak 35 orang, SMA Negeri 1 Lembang kelas XI IPA2 sebanyak 41 orang, dan STKIP Siliwangi Bandung mahasiswa semester VI sebanyak 49 orang pada tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 semester genap. Selanjutnya, dikembangkan desain didaktis yang diujicobakan terbatas kepada 30 siswa kelas VIII B SMP Assalam Bandung. Dari uji coba terbatas dilakukan analisis untuk menyusun desain didaktis revisi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diantaranya perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pembelajaran sebelum menggunakan desain didaktis belum dapat menggali kemampuan penalaran matematis, desain didaktis penalaran matematis yang dikembangkan dapat memperkecil <em>gap</em> yang dihadapi siswa, dan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap desain didaktis yang dikembangkan.<strong></strong></p><p>The background of this research was the lack of junior high school students’ mathematical reasoning in geometry. This research used Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which started by a preliminary study to 35 students of grade IX E Public Junior High School 29 Bandung, 41 students of grade XI Science Program of Senior High School 1 Lembang, and 49 students of Siliwangi College of Education Bandung in semester VI for academic year 2011/2012. The preliminary study was aimed to explore students’ learning obstacles to develep didactical design. The developed didactical design was implemented to 30 students of grade VII B of Assalam Junior High School Bandung. After this implementation the developed didactical design was revised. The results of this research were the learning tools used by previous teacher have not explored mathematical reasoning yet, the developed didactical design had minimized students’ gaps, and students had positive response about the learning.</p>

This study deals with the effects of applying drama method in the teaching of environmental issues in science courses on the achievement, retention of learning, student interest and attitudes of primary school students and also whether these effects are dependent on teachers. The study was designed on the basis of the Solomon Four-Group Design. The study is a two group pre- and post-test experiment in two parts, each part having an experimental and control group. The courses were delivered to both groups by the researcher in the first part and drama teacher in the second. The experimental groups received 144 hours of teaching for six weeks, during which a drama course outline was employed, while in the control groups the courses followed the course outlines covered in the curricula. The data were collected using the Environmental Achievement Test, Interest Scale towards the Environment and Attitude Scale towards Science. The findings suggest that the teachers had some effects on the methods, but the significant differences in scores were due to the drama method, which was found to improve the achievement of the third-grade students and the interest towards environment and attitudes towards science of both third- and fourth-grade students. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa terkait materi  segiempat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (a)menganalisis desain didaktis yang telah disusun guru model pada materi segiempat dengan menggunakan model problem-based  learning; (b)menganalisis dugaan hambatan belajar yang diduga muncul kembali pada desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model; dan (c)membuat  usulan untuk desain didaktis awal yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi dugaan hambatan belajar yang muncul kembali. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru model (Kiki Okatviani) dan desain didaktis materi segiempat dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan model  penelitian Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: (a) prospective analysis; (b)metapedadidactic analysis; dan (c)retrospective analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi (wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi). Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan gabungan dari metode kualitatif dan model DDR dimana kegiatannya adalah: (a)Prospective Analysis atau analisis data dengan melakukan wawancara kepada guru model terkait desian didaktis yang disusun pada materi segiempat; (b)Metapedadidactic Analysis kegiatan menganalisis desain didaktis, menganalisis dugaan munculnya hambatan belajar dari desain didaktis, dan pemberian usulan untuk mengatasi hambatan belajar yang muncul; dan (c)Retrospective Analysis, pada tahap ini peneliti membuat kesimpulan mengenai desain didaktis yang telah dianalisis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model sudah sesuai dan dapat digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran, adapun kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam desain didaktis yaitu didactical learning obstacle dapat diperbaiki sesuai usulan yang diberikan oleh peneliti, agar siswa tidak mengalami hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran.

This research is based on the absence of teaching materials about the concept of geometry that is able to facilitate the students connecting the culture, especially tembe nggoli which is one of the traditional woven cloth of mbojo-NTB with the concept of mathematics. Ethnomathematics is a mathematical bridge with culture, and ethnography recognizes the different ways of doing mathematics in community activities. The result of this study is to produce teaching materials in the form of students' worksheets. The method used is design research which includes: (1) preliminary design, in this phase is made Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT); (2) experiments, in this phase existing designs are tested to students; (3) retrospective analysis, in this phase the researchers compare the HLT with the actual student learning process. The results of this research showed that tasks which were presented in teaching materials by considering learning obstacle and preliminary study able to facilitate students to define the properties of triangles based on their angle.

The purpose of this study is to develop the didactical design concerning on the cube and cuboid surface concept. This study use Didactical Design Research measure in which it consists of three phases: (1) analysis of the didactic situation before learning that the form of design didactic hypothetical, (2) metapedadidactic analysis, and (3) retrospective analysis linked the results of analysis didactic situation hypothetical analysis and metapedadidactic analysis. This study has 96 secondary school’s students in the Cilegon city as research subjects. All datas were documented by using camera recording, interviews, and tests. The datas were analyzed qualitatively to determine the learning obstacle then researcher also compiled didactic design incorporating didactic pedagogical anticipation based on identified learning obstacles. Furthermore, the didactic design is implemented and analyzed the results of its implementation as a final product. The results obtained are a didactic concept design model surface area of cube and cuboid.

The purpose of this study is to examine motivation of students studying in Science High School towards learning biology and their attitude towards biology lesson. The sample of the study consists of 564 high school students (308 females, 256 males) studying at two science high schools in Aksaray, Turkey.  In the study relational screening method which is a descriptive survey model was utilized. “Academic Motivation Scale for Learning Biology” consisting of 4 sub-dimensions (intrinsic motivation, amotivation, extrinsic motivation-career and extrinsic motivation-social) and 19 items and “Biology Science and Course Attitude Scale” consisting of 3 sub-dimensions (interest, pleasure and anxiety) and 23 items were utilized. Data were interpreted in accordance with arithmetic mean, percentage, frequency and significance level. Significance level was taken as 0.05. As a result of the research arithmetic means of students’ intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation-career sub-dimensions were found to be above the scale mean. Students’ mean score in amotivation and extrinsic motivation-social sub-dimensions were below the scale mean. However, students’ arithmetic mean in each of sub-dimensions in attitude scale were average. Highest relation among sub-dimensions of motivation and attitude scales was found to be between intrinsic motivation and interest, and intrinsic motivation and pleasure sub-dimensions. Nevertheless, as a result of the evaluation done in terms of students’ gender and class level it was determined that there is significant difference between their gender and class levels in sub-dimensions of motivation and attitude scales.
