This study aims to determine the contribution of teacher work motivation to teacher professionalism, the principal's contribution to teacher professionalism, and the contribution of work motivation and the role of school principals to teacher professionalism. The population of the study was all civil servant teachers in SMA Negeri Salatiga with number of population 209 people and the sample are 131 people. The samples were chosen by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaire and hypothesis testing with regression. The results showed, (1) there was a positive and significant contribution t of work motivation on teacher professionalism of 92.2%, (2)there was a positive and significant contribution of the role of the principal on the teacher professionalism of 90.2%, and (3) there was a positive and significant contribution of work motivation and the role of the principal on professionalism teachers at 93.1%. It is hoped that further research will find out other factors that contribute ot teacher professionalism.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of work motivation and professional competence in improving the performance of Vocational High School teachers in Soppeng Regency, as well as which variables are most dominant in influencing the improvement of teacher performance. Researchers took a sample of 72 teachers from five vocational schools in Soppeng Regency with the sampling technique, namely random sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, meaning that if the work motivation is higher, the teacher's performance will also increase. In addition, professional competence also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, so that if professional competence is getting better, teacher performance will also increase. Researchers also found that work motivation is the most dominant variable affecting the improvement of teacher performance in schools. Keywords: Work Motivation, Professional Competence, Teacher Performance  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kabupaten Soppeng, serta variabel manakah yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru. Peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 72 orang guru yang berasal dari lima SMK di Kabupaten Soppeng dengan teknik penentuan sampel yaitu dengan random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, artinya jika motivasi kerja semakin tinggi maka kinerja guru juga akan semakin meningkat. Disamping itu, kompetensi profesional juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, sehingga apabila kompetensi profesional semakin baik maka kinerja guru juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Peneliti juga menemukan bahwa motivasi kerja merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru di sekolah. <p><em>Posyandu serves to facilitate the community in knowing or checking health, especially for pregnant women and children under five. in Dharmasraya the achievement of weighing D / S on toddlers is in the 12th rank out of 19 regencies / cities in West Sumatra with an achievement of 73.5%, this figure shows lower achievement if in 2013 it was 82.9%. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, work, motivation and the role of cadres with the participation of mothers of toddlers visiting posyandu. The research design was descriptive analytic withdesign cross sectional. The population of this study was 108 mothers of toddlers in Tarantang Jorong. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, the sample size is 85 respondents. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and distribution of questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis usingtest chi square. The results showed that among 85 known samples who did not participate in Keposyandu visit 55.3% (47 respondents from the analysis there was a relationship between knowledge (Pvalue = 0.021, OR = 3.098), work (Pvalue = 0.014, OR = 3.467), motivation (Pvalue = 0.003, OR = 4.332), the role of cadres (Pvalue= 0.027, OR = 2.971) participation of mother's visit to posyandu. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between knowledge, work, motivation, the role of cadres and the participation of mothers of toddlers to posyandu Motivate and invite mothers to toddlers to always go to posyandu every once a month.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em><em>Posyandu  berfungsi  untuk  memudahkan  masyarakat  dalam  mengetahui atau memeriksakan kesehatan terutama untuk ibu hamil dan anak balita. di Dharmasraya pencapaian penimbangan D/S pada balita berada pada rangking ke-12 dari 19 Kabupaten/Kota di Sumatera Barat dengan pencapaian 73,5%, angka ini menunjukan pencapaian lebih rendah jika dari pada tahun 2013 yaitu 82,9%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, pekerjaan, motivasi dan peran kader dengan partisipasi kunjungan ibu balita ke posyandu. Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 108 ibu balita di jorong tarantang. Teknik Pengambilan  sampel secara simple  random  sampling, besar sampel 85 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan pembagian kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diantara 85 sampel diketahui yang tidak partisipasi dalam kunjungan  keposyandu  55,3%  (47 responden dari hasil analisis terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan  (Pvalue= 0,021, OR =3,098), pekerjaan (Pvalue=0,014, OR=3,467), motivasi (Pvalue=0,003,OR=4,332), peran kader (Pvalue=0,027,OR=2,971) partisipasi kunjungan ibu balita ke posyandu.Kesimpulan penelitian diketahui ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, pekerjaan, motivasi, peran kader dengan partisipasi kunjungan ibu balita ke posyandu. Memberikan motivasi serta mengajak ibu balita untuk selalu ke posyandu setiap satu bulan sekali.</em></em></p>

The problems in this study are: 1) whether there is an influence of the role of the school principal on teacher work motivation; 2) whether there is an influence of the school climate on teacher work motivation; 3) whether there is an influence on the role of the principal and the school climate on the motivation of the teacher's work.The purpose of this study is to analyze and find out: 1) the influence of the role of the principal on teacher motivation to work; 2) the influence of the school climate on teacher work motivation; 3) the influence of the role of the principal and the school climate on teacher motivation.This type of research is survey research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all public elementary school teachers in Kaliwungu District with a total of    teachers. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling, with a sample of  teachers. Data collection techniques use interviews and questionnaires. While the data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.The results of the study concluded that: 1) The role of the principal has a significant effect on the motivation of the work of public elementary school teachers in Kaliwungu District. The influence of the principal's role on teacher work motivation is 17.5% and 82.5% is influenced by other variables outside of the role of the principal; 2) The school climate has a significant effect on the motivation of the work of public elementary school teachers in Kaliwungu District. The influence of the school climate on teacher work motivation is 14.3% and 85.7% is influenced by other variables outside of the school climate; 3) The role of the head as if and the school climate together have a significant effect on the competency of professional SD teachers in Kaliwungu District. The influence of the role of the principal and the school climate together is 21.9%. The role of the principal has a greater influence than the school climate, although the difference is not too far away.Keywords: School Principal's Role, School Climate, Motivation of Teacher's work

The purpose of this study was to determine teacher work motivation and the role of school principals in increasing teacher work motivation at SMPN I Bungku Timur. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study were the principal and teachers. Data collection was carried out by participant and non-participant observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. This research data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the work motivation of teachers at SMPN I Bungku Timur is quite high. This is evidenced by the commitment and loyalty of teachers who work well. This condition can be seen from their activities in carrying out their responsibilities in doing work, the achievements they have achieved, self-development and independence in acting. As for the role of the principal in increasing teacher work motivation, namely: as a work partner, participant, supporter, giving a mandate, making a fun workplace and a role model for teachers of SMPN I Bungku Timur.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara: 1) kreativitas guru PAI terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti , 2) motivasi kerja guru PAI terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti , dan 3) kreativitas dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama dan Budi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi korelasional dengan melibatkan 33 orang sampel yang dipilih secara dengan metode sensus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket/kuesioner. Teknikanalisis data diawali dengan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan linieritas. Uji hipotesis menggunakanuji regresi sederhana danuji regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ; 1) Kreativitas guru berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. 2) motivasi kerja guru berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. 3) kreativitas guru dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai dari ketiga variabel tersebut hanya dapat dimasukkan dalam kategori sedang, sehingga untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam mengajar perlu diperhatikan faktor-faktor lain seperti: gaji, jaminan kerja, jaminan hari tua, penghargaan atas prestasi kerja, dan sebagainya. Kata kunci: kreativitas, motivasi, mutupembelajaran Abstract [The Relationship Between Teachers’ Creativity and Motivation Toward Learning Improvement]. This research aim at determine the correlation between the creativity of teachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, the work motivation of teachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, and the creativity and the work motivation of eachers on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior. This research employed a method of correlation description with 33 Islamic education teacher were selected as sample by means of census sampling. Technique of collecting data employed questionnaire. Technique of data analysis began with prerequisite of normality and linearity. Hypothesis used test of simple regression and double regression.The study revealed that teacher creativity affects on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior, as well as teacher work motivation affects on the improvement of learning quality of religious education and behavior. Futhermore, analysis show that teacher creativity as well as teacher work motivation affects simultaneously on the learning quality of Islamic Education. In conclusion, the average value of those three variables may be only included into medium category. Thus, to increase teacher performance, it needs other factors, such as; salary, job guarantee, pension, appreciation of work achievement, etc. Keywords: Creativity, Motivation, Learning Quality

One of the efforts taken by the company to improve morale is to meet the promotion appropriately, because when promotions are met then the employee will contribute optimum morale. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of a promotion, the condition of employee morale and job promotion role in improving employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) Branch Garut Retail.The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and verification method. Descriptive method used to determine the implementation of promotion and conditions of employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch of Garut Retail, the verification method used to determine the role of promotion in improving employee morale at the office of PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch Retail Garut.The method used is survey explanation. The process of sampling carried out by random sampling technique. The sample size is 65 people. The data collection was conducted using questionnaires, interviews, and literature.These results indicate that the promotion included in the category of good, as well as morale is also high. It is seen that the coefficient of determination variable X amounted to 16.56%, and the remaining 83.44% is the influence of other factors. Spearman Rank Correlation promotion variables play a role in improving employee morale with a yield of 0,407 and have a relationship and the variables that are significant

Abstract: The formulation of this study is review the influence of functional training planners to the quality planners, the influence of work motivation to the quality of planner, and the influence of functional training planners and motivation to work together to the quality of Bappenas planners. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling technique is using proportionate stratified random sampling with a number of sample sizes of 137 people. Furthermore, the data obtained, processed and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 for windows Program by performing statistical test, those are the t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between functional training planners to quality planners, work motivation to quality planners, and the influence of the two together to the quality planner. The dimension of functional training planners that have an influence to the quality of planners is the management and faculty training. In addition, the study is also found that the dimension of work motivation which has an influence to the quality of planners is the need for achievement and the need for power. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perencana di Bappenas tahun 2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah ukuran sampel 137 orang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh, diolah dan dianalisa  dengan bantuan program SPSS 19.0 for windows dengan melakukan uji statistik yaitu uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana. Dimensi diklat fungsional perencana yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah pengelolaan dan tenaga pengajar diklat. Selain itu, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa dimensi motivasi kerja yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah kebutuhan akan prestasi dan kebutuhan akan kekuasaan. ABSTRAK Tempat tinggal berpengaruh pada kesejahteraan psikologik dan salah satu dimensi di dalamnya yaitu penguasaan lingkungan. Bagi mereka yang tidak dapat menguasai lingkungan kemungkinan hal ini turut berperan dengan motivasi mereka untuk pindah dari tempat tinggal hal inilah yang disebut sebagai motivasi migrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan penguasaan lingkungan terhadap motivasi migrasi pada penduduk yang tinggal di daerah kumuh Cempaka Raya di Banjarmasin. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada peranan penguasaan lingkungan terhadap motivasi migrasi pada penduduk yang tinggal di pemukiman kumuh Cempaka Raya Banjarmasin. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang penduduk di Cempaka Raya Banjarmasin RT 42. Pemilihan subjek yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala penguasaan lingkungan dan skala motivasi migrasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel (13,273>1,672) yaitu terdapat peranan penguasaan lingkungan terhadap motivasi migrasi, dengan nilai t sebesar 13,273, artinya terdapat peranan positif antara penguasaan lingkungan dengan motivasi migrasi, semakin tinggi peguasaan lingkungan maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi migrasi, dan sebaliknya. Peranan  penguasaan lingkungan terhadap motivasi migrasi adalah sebesar 75,2 %, sedangkan 24,8 % merupakan faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.   Kata Kunci: Penguasaan Lingkungan, Motivasi Migrasi, Pemukiman Kumuh ABSTRACT Residence affects psychological well-being, and one of the dimensions in it is environment control. For those who cannot control the environment, the condition will most likely contribute to their motivation to move from their place to somewhere else, which is called motivation for migration. The objective of this study was to find out the role of the environmental control towards the motivation for migration in residents living in the slum of Cempaka Raya in Banjarmasin. The hypothesis of this study was that there was a role of environmental control towards motivation for migration in the population living in the slum of Cempaka Raya Banjarmasin. Subjects in this study were 60 residents in Cempaka Raya Banjarmasin RT 42. The subjects were selected using cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using the scale of environmental control and the scale of motivation for migration. The data were then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed the value of t count > t table (13.273 > 1.672), indicating that there was a role of environmental control towards the motivation for migration, with the value of t 13.273, which meant there was a positive role of environmental control towards motivation for migration. The higher the environmental control, the higher the migration motivation, and vice versa. The role of the environmental control towards the motivation for migration was 75.2% while 24.8% was from other factors not included in this study. Keywords: Environmental Control, Motivation for Migration, Slum

This research objective to determine the satisfaction, discipline, and motivation of employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi, and also to determine satisfaction and discipline of influence on work motivation the employee of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi. There are 90 employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi as a sample in this study. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling techniques. Observation and questionnaire methods are used in collecting the data. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis show the good realization of job satisfaction (average score 3.63) and employee work discipline (average score 3.61) so that it has a positive impact on employee work motivation (average score 3.57). These results are supported by Bekasi Tirta Bhagasasi PDAM data in 2018 which obtained a level of realization of workforce satisfaction of 61.38% (sufficient category), the value of realization of employee work discipline at 5.80% (sufficient category), and the level of realization of labor motivation of 60.71% (sufficient category). t value calculated job satisfaction (b1) = 9,133 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees. T value is calculated work discipline (b2) = 5.535 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that work discipline has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees.

The purpose of this study to determine the role of Transformational Leadership in increasing Job Satisfaction. The samples have been taken by random sampling technique selecting amounted to 249 samples from permanent lecturers of private Islamic High School in Jambi Province. This research uses a Sequential Explanatory Design Mixed Method that is first research using a quantitative method then deepen it with a qualitative method. This is intended to result in more in-depth and comprehensive research.The result shows that there is a positive correlation between transformational leadership which has a high effect on job satisfaction of the lecturers. The coefficient correlation is ry = 0,483 and coefficient determination ry = 0,233. It means that 65.90% of job satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership, and the rest of it influenced by other factors.
